Wow okay I'm even more confused....

So Kanba has this like secret twin sister, Momoka was the hat princess, and Shouma and Kanba die? so the destination of fate is reversed?

I'm not sure if even if I watched the whole series I wouldn't be confused. After we discussed the real life incident and cult this is based off of in class those references are definitely a lot more clear, especially in the last few episodes with all this talk of a new world order and the failure of people in charge and these teddy bear bomb things.

I'm also still a bit foggy on how Himari ties into all of this. She was just this random kid Shoma found one day when he was ditching his dad's propaganda meeting and he saves her from the child boiler (terrifying seriously) and just brings her into the family? And was this before or after he and Kanba were locked in those boxes to starve and split the apple of fate. That seems to be a reference to "original sin" with Adam and Eve and that everything following after was a punishment seems to reinforce that but I'm still so lost honestly.

ALSO insert another rant about why the heck is Himari naked every 2 seconds?!?! I don't know exactly what her point is as a character because every other scene she's either "died" for the 15th time or her clothes are just magically ripping off.

ALSO ALSO in this new alternate reality where the destination of fate was reversed did the parents never do the subway attack? Cause I'm confused as to why if Himari was never their REAL child in the first place how she ended up with the "normal life" in that house with the parents and Kanba and Shoma are in their alternate reality?

I'm hoping after we discuss more in class it'll be a bit clearer because I am LOST.

I probably could have had it done a few weeks ago, but I kept finding little problems that only showed up after Youtube compression did its thing. Honestly there are still a few of them in there, but they only appear on full screen mode and only for a second. So I'm going to say that it's probably fine. This is my baby.

Remembering how Mamiya was ready to accept his temrinal illness yet Nemuro and Tokiko decided over his head what they wanted for him. Instead of spending time with him, they buried themselves in work, Tokiko sugaring or drying flowers to gloss over sorrows and certian decay. Nemuro commiting arson mass murder in the name of Mamiya just process his own rage...

Oh boy, if that dynamic isn't repeated in Penguin Drum with Himari and her brothers, espcially Kanba.
