A/N: Okay I haven't used Tumblr in ages and I don't know why this was the first thing I decided to write when I logged in but yeah. Anyways I will actually be going to a Miku Expo, not saying which one but I am going to one regardless 😍😍 Anyways anyone else notice the odd amount of overlap between these fandoms? Okay so I don't know how you managed to convince this man to date you but whatever. (Jealous.)

Anyways but Kid has a secret. Maybe not a well hidden one but he likes to still think it's one.

He has a ridiculous obsession with Hatsune Miku, specifically cuz of her twin tails. (This man has a thing for twin tails/pigtails/drills okay, you cannot convince me otherwise.)

So whether you like Miku or not, Kid is probably the one taking you to see her. Whether or not he's dragging you or you're running with him like little toddlers really depends on how you feel about Miku.

But even if you don't like her you should still go, do it for him:( You obviously love him if you're reading this unironically.

He's gonna be all decked out in Miku merch as symmetrically as possible. Glow sticks? He has two, one for each hand. T-shirt? Symmetrical Miku logo. The bag he brought to carry all his Miku merch? Yeah actually there's two, one for each arm💀

Even his sneakers are Miku branded...

Man has the money for it leave him and his secret room hidden in his closet full of Miku merch alone.

If you also happen to like Miku, he will gladly spoil you with all the merch and spam you with the latest songs from his favorite producers.

The oversized TV is a disgrace.

Anyways whether it's over the pathetic ass home depot's largest TV on a stage or it's over seeing his fictitious waifu in person, he's sobbing.

Either wailing uncontrollably or screaming like the most obnoxious fanboy.

After the concert the two of you would probably wander around the venue and talk to other fans for a couple hours.

Bonus points if you're in Miku cosplay, man will be an even bigger simp than he already is for you.

If anyone else from you two's friend group shows up at the Expo, he will lock himself in the men's bathroom and refuse to leave until the coast is clear.

Probably also folded all the toilet-paper in the men's restroom at the venue and if you're in Miku cosplay he's begging you to go into the women's bathroom and fold the toilet-paper in there too.

Genuinely cries if the merch booth is empty by the time he gets to it.

Probably takes you out for bubble tea afterwards and then if you're down heads back for his place so you can both crash, fully Miku'd out for the day.

Don't worry, you can sleep on his Miku x Helix mattress and use his Miku bedding and sleep with one of his thousands of Miku plushies😔

Attending the convention was a much bigger event than I had anticipated. This is my first-ever convention. My friend Brian and I arrived at around 12:30 and immediately set out to find the maid cafe. I hadn’t eaten lunch yet, so that was our first mission.

We passed by the Pokemon car in front of the Reitz, admiring its design from a distance before heading on our way. As we wandered around, we saw dozens of cosplayers, each one more impressive than the last. Most of the cosplays were pretty popular anime characters, but I was surprised to see someone in a War Devil cosplay since Chainsaw Man part 2 only started serializing recently. It was a colorful, energetic atmosphere that got me excited for what was to come. Until I saw Genshin characters.

When we finally found the maid cafe, we were informed that we needed to get wristbands to enter. It was a little frustrating, not gonna lie. I thought the wrist bands were a bit arbitrary since they were free, but we quickly obtained them and got back in line. Unfortunately, the area was utterly sweltering, and we had to endure it for a little while until we were finally let into the ballroom.

Once inside, we were seated with some strangers and chatted a little bit. It was a welcome surprise, since I could get to know some other people. It was interesting to learn where everyone came from and what their interests were, but we ended up talking more about local pizza joints than actual anime (Piesanos pizza is goated). I was really disappointed to hear that the maid cafe had run out of food, and since I hadn't eaten lunch yet, I was still really hungry. When I first heard about the maid cafe, I thought they might serve omurice, but unfortunately, the cafe mainly served desserts. The only thing I had was lemonade, so I was running on pure liquids the whole time.

Despite the lack of food, the atmosphere in the maid cafe was lively, and the staff did their best to keep the energy high. At the end of the cafe, there was a dance performance to "King" by Kanaria, which is a banger song, by the way. I appreciated the effort the staff put into making the cafe a memorable experience.

After the maid cafe, we checked out the vendor area, which had a wide variety of products on display. There were anime figurines, plushies, clothing, and even an entire section dedicated to Star Wars lightsabers. Although I didn't find anything that caught my eye, it was fascinating to see the vast array of merchandise available. I mainly only prefer figurines of the more…cultured type.

The artist alley was where I was most excited to go, and it didn't disappoint. I enjoyed seeing the independent artists' work, each piece showing their unique style and creativity. Kawaii Satori (which is its own brand) had some fantastic pieces, and there were even two older ladies selling beautiful art that wasn't anime-related. It was interesting to see that there were also people selling scented candles, which was unexpected but fun. Seeing all of the artwork made me think about signing up for a stand next year to showcase some of my own art.

After the artist alley, we decided to grab some lunch and then head home. Overall, the convention was an incredible experience, and I had a great time seeing all of the unique and creative elements of anime culture. The event was much larger than I had anticipated, and I can't wait to attend again next year.

Last Song I listened to: I was just listening to Salamander by DECO*27! (I'm gonna be safe and give a flash warning for the music video!) I've been putting off listening to it and I must say wow what a banger dshjgkfdh. I particularly REALLY like the added acoustic guitar in the second verse onward! It's really gotten me through the past few days lmfao. I also really like the Project Sekai cover! Every producer involved in the Cup of Noodles collab did NOT need to go that hard for noodles i swear dshgjkfdh (I'm looking at you Kanaria).

Currently Reading: I haven't started it cause I cannot find a fan translation for the life of me but I at least THOUGHT about and actively searched for the Needy Streamer Overload manga dshgjkdsgh qwq. I'm hoping it'll help me understand the game just a bit better cause I enjoyed it but I'm sure some things went over my head. (Also I've been meaning to pick up witch hat! I might have to get in that soon qwq).

Currently Watching: I just got home from my trip and I was just about to watch Sarah Spaceman's new video on their Strawberry Miku cosplay competing internationally at NCC!

Current Obsession: To literally no one's surprise the hyperfixation is still Mario lol dshgjkfh. However on a more specific note I think I might rewatch the 1993 movie tonight cause I've been posting about it and I think I'm gonna keep playing the GBA Mario Tennis' Story Mode dshjgkfndh.

What Drew You In & Made You Stay? | Accepting!

I personally find myself enjoying writing darker topics & angst more. Alaric’s & Kanaria’s relationship was not an exception to this, especially with the angst slowly seeping in (thanks to Alaric’s VC Gackt’s songs playing atm on my Spotify). Heck, if you think that it’s dark now, I had a drabble for Immortal Soul Alaric up for a while before I deleted it. It was morbid enough that someone messaged me saying that it made them more scared of Alaric.

Anyway, I’m glad to know that you think they’re cool! I had my challenges with them. I know with Kanaria, it was how not to make her mary sue-ish since she’s an upper class alien with Shiny Pokémon living among normal people. Her interactions with Willie really have me smiling a lot considering that he thinks she’s a cosplayer. Really would like to see the direction they go!

I do have this one idea where at some point, he finds out that she’s actually a wealthy person, but isn’t as happy with her life thus far in terms of love. I guess I just want to witness his reaction to such. Would he be mad at the fact that she’s actually rich? or would he just ignore that part & focus on her having a terrible love life? Things like that really have me thinking!

I did it!! My cosplay for Mimicon is ready in four days!! And I'm dead. Sewing early in the morning, then workday and continue till 2AM everyday....

 I think it looks quite nice. I'm not 100% pleased with how it looks but I'll fix flaws later. And style my wig with time. Right now I have decided to go with twintails but I really want to do proper drills... Because Kanaria has drills not twintails!!!
