My brother recently got into Demon Slayer so I wanted to make a kny oc for him since I did it before with both me and my sister and never got around to my brother :)

But I started by refreshing my own design because wow?? It’s been 4 years since I first made my kny insert character and a lot of things are now outdated! Not to mention my art has improved a lot, I hope. More details under the cut!

Meet Ebisu Koharu: youngest of the Ebisu family and physically the weakest. They only barely passed Final Selection by hiding for the entire week and surviving off tips from their older siblings. Nonetheless, they still want to contribute, which is why they hold onto a thick, leather bound book that records every demon they’ve ever met in precise detail, with labeled diagrams and scribbled calculations in the margins of different strengths and weaknesses.

After spending a few years on the job, and properly seeing their data contribute to the successes of other demon slayers, they’ve come a bit more into their own as a competent researcher and fighter, though they still do tend to request paired missions with friends and family to act more as a support role rather than a fighter.

The Ebisu family is one of scholars. The eldest daughter Kaoru is a doctor, and the eldest son Shougen is a chemist. By nature, fighting is not necessarily their strong suit, which is why their family breathing style and techniques are all poison-assisted. Of the three, Koharu is the weakest and most averse to combat— they wield a short half-length blade, with more of a smooth ceremonial hilt and sheath than any practical weapon.

there's a grin split across kanari's face, her shoulders hitch slightly as her heavy breathing evens out. it finally feels like she's starting to pick this 'speedster' stuff up. she hasn't completely wiped out in days and when she does trip, she doesn't end up on her face or scraping herself up on the ground. she hasn't felt this confident in herself in ... well, ever!

when pietro speaks, her head perks up to look towards him. it takes a moment to process his words. was she smiling? she hadn't even noticed. said smile falters slightly, embarrassed. ❝ oh - heh - guess i really don't do it often, huh? ❞

Madenci Kanary Hikayesi :

Madende çalışma ve madencilik dünyanın en zorlu işlerinden sayılır ve maden kazaları birçok insanın canını kaybetmesi ile sonuçlanmıştır. En son maden olayı ülkemizde ortaya çıkmıştır ve çalışanların ölümüne sebep olmuştur ve allah’tan onlar için rahmet diliyoruz. Madenlerde üz veren kazalarda çalışanların can kaybına neden olan önemli bir etken vardır ve oda madende mahsur kalan insanların zehirlenmesine ve canlarını kaybetmesine sebep olur. CO2 gazı yangın veya patlama sonrasında madende birikir ve solunum esnasında kana karışır, bu öldürücü gaz renksiz ve kokusuz olduğu için fark edilmesi zordur ve bu nedenle kaza sonrası çalışanların canını tehdit etmektedir.

Madenlerde CO2 gazı tehlikesi ve çözümü :

İskoç fizyolog John Haldane canlıların solunum sistemleri hakkında araştırmalar yaparak farklı gazların zehirlenme etkisinden bilgi topluyordu, hatta kendini gaz bulunan odaya kapatarak gaz etkisinde ortaya çıkan belirtilerden not alıyordu ve 1. Dünya savaşında almanların kullandığı kimyasal gaz bombaları ile önlem almak için gaz maskelerini icat etmiştir.

Hikaye nereden başlandı?

30 sene önceye kadar gaz dedektörleri icat edilmemişti ve CO2 gazı madenlerde can almaya devam etmekteydi ve bunca zamana kadar bu ölümcül gazı fark etmek için sadece tek bir yöntem vardı. John haldane iskoç fizyolog araştırmaları sonucunda kanaryaların farklı bir solunum sistemleri olduğunu ve zararlı gazlara duyarlı bir yapıya sahip olduklarını fark etti. Kanarya kuşları solunum sistemi yolu ile zararlı gazları insanlardan daha hızlı algılayıp ve tepki gösterirler ve bu özellikleri madenlerde insanları CO2 gazı tehlikesine uyarmak için kullanıldı.

Bu yöntem 1968 yılına kadar büyük britanya madenlerinde kullanılırdı, madenciler kanaryayı bir kafes içinde madende dolaştırarak maden havasını denetliyorlardı ve CO2 gazı olduğu alanda kanarya gaz etkisinde bayılıyordu ve bu durumda alanda CO2 gazı tehlikesi olduğu anlaşılıyordu.

Kanaryaların telef olmasını engellemek için bir alet icat edildi ve bu alet yardımı ile kanaryanın yeniden hayata geri dönmesi sağlandı. Bu alet şu anda londra’nın Kensington Bilim Müzesinde bulunmaktadır ve resmini sizler için paylaşıyoruz.

1968 yılında büyük britanya’da kanaryaların madende görev yapmaları yasa dışı ilan edildi ve elektronik gaz dedektörleri kanaryaların yerini aldı.

Bu güzel ve zarif kuşlar küçük olmalarına rağmen insanların canını koruma vazifesini yapıyordular ve teknoloji ilerlemesi bu sevimli canlıların zorlu yaşamdan kurtuluşuna sebep olmuştur.

Bu yasa uygulanmadan önce 200 den fazla kanarya madenlerde görev yapmak için eğitilmiştir.

Meet Comedian Candidate Girls in TV Anime MAESETSU! Teaser PV

    For its premiere in 2020, a public presentation for the upcoming original anime MAESETSU! - Opening Act- was held in Akihabaraha yesterday on January 7, 2020. A teaser PV to introduce its main characters screened at the event for the first time is now also streamed on KADOKAWA's official anime YouTube channel. In Japanese entertainment, "Maesetsu" usually means a short introduction talk before TV show recordings performed by assistant directors or rookie comedians. The anime's story centers on eight girls' struggles in the comedy entertainment business.

    Synopsis: 

  Four 19-year-old girls: Fubuki Kitakaze, Mafuyu Kogarashi, Rin Shintani, and Nayuta Asougi, who aim to become professional comedians, practice their joke materials hard while working as a part-time worker day and night. Their motto is "Make everyone happy with laughter! then their happiness makes us happy, too." But the success is still far away from them.

  Their goal is to stand on the stage of Namba Grand Kagetsu, which is considered as "Budokan in the comedy entertainment world." But for now, they have decided to try to be on the nearest stage for them, the lowest level of Mugendai Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo, called "Farm Class." This is a struggling success story of the eight girls in four units.

kanari and sleeping well never went hand in hand. even before the whole 'experiment' thing - though that certainly didn't help - she'd had trouble sleeping. at least now, as an adult, she wasn't stuck in her room after the appointed bedtime from her parents. there's only so much she can stand pacing around her apartment though, plus she's sure that she's bothering her neighbors with her swift walking.

so she heads out. there's a 24 hour convenience store right near her building. there's a chill in the air and she tugs her bright jacket around her petite frame, a slight bounce in her step as she walks.

the door jingles as she walks in, heading immediately towards the aisles of snacks. she needs chips, sour candies too. did they have those japanese peanuts in stock? she presses her tongue against the point of a fang, her stomach's almost growling at the thought.

she's not the only one in the aisle though. glancing sideways, she notes the woman. she looks ... familiar? someone from the bar? her name lingers on kanari's tongue, but she can't quite place it. what really draws her attention, though, is the smell. coppery. metallic. stomach-twisting. her eyes drop to the woman's clothes, then quickly look away.

standing slightly tense at amelia's side, she picks through the bags of chips, seeking out what she came in for. ❝ ... you've got blood on your dress, in case you didn't know, ❞ she says quietly, trying to not draw the attention of the clerk.

kanari's brow is furrowed, trying to wipe off a stubborn smudge on a glass. when he speaks up, she suddenly realises she's been rambling on about a recent incident, abstract enough to keep the whole 'superpower' thing under smoke. she clacks the glass down on the bar, eyes owlish with embarrassment. ❝ oh! no! really, it's not that bad. it doesn't matter. ❞ it's rambles out of her mouth quickly, words almost tripping over each other, her mouth moving too fast.

it's a default reaction. not that bad, doesn't matter.

her mouth pulls into a grimace. ❝ ah, jeez. this is really the opposite of the whole 'bartender' thing, isn't it? i'm supposed to listen to customers, not talk about my issues. can i get you something else to drink? on the house. ❞
