Thus, the commissions keep coming here and there for various jobs — be it programs, medicine, or even the general need for innovations. The downside? Now Kamui has too much on his plate. Never bite more than you can chew, Mother always told him. But who was he if not stubborn? It's practically engraved in him—especially when he needs to forget certain things. "Charlotte," his words came out with a gritty sludge while he strode down the facility halls. "Remind me of my schedule." "It is currently quarter past seven," a cheerful, robotic voice spoke to him in his ear. "In fifteen minutes, you have a meeting with the president of Calibern Pharmaceuticals. He is expecting the prototype of the poison you have been developing. Soon after, you have trials at eleven for Longinus, the mechanical lazer inspired by Milites design…"
