Every year, the Senior Citizens Corner at Tampines Blk 465 would organise a steamboat dinner on Chap Goh Meh, the 15th and last day of the lunar new year celebrations. Love Thy Neighbour | What's better than having a home to come back to? Neighbors. We have moved away from our old neighborhood and from one another, but we still try to gather every year without fail. We catch up, LOL and end up in stitches every time - all the time - but that is the result of the undying spirit of neighborliness that we have for one another - a selfless sacrifice of putting others first - without expecting anything in return. The #KampungSpirit is still alive and burning in Tampines! Really glad to have met residents from Blks 464 and 468 on Wed evening. I could tell that the neighbourly bonds are strong and residents took great pride in beautifying their surroundings. Some of them are so close-knit, I mistook two different households who were warmly chatting with one another to be from the same family!
