(Sorry for the hefty post) For the last couple years I’d been doing Blacktober for my October drawing challenge and this years no different!

I’ve finally finished collecting all of the Kamichama Karin manga! Now I just need to get the rest of Kamichama Karin Chu :)

New additions to my bookshelf. Just missing three volumes which would be pita ten volume 7 and pita ten fan book volume 3 and kamichama Karin volume 5 !! I don't feel a rush to get kamichama Karin chu because the rest are selling for 80 to 100 per volume lol

Kamichama Karin Chu review!!

Finally being able to finish this series since middle schools makes me feel kinda sad lol. I had volumes 1-6 in middle school but never had the last one. I liked the series, it's your typical shoujo with god power. I liked the dynamic of the 3 gods + Karin. The love triangle with Jin and Kujou made it more spicy hahaha. I felt bad for Jin in the end, how they had to basically go back in time where they never meet him. But he does go to Karin and Kujou's wedding so they eventually meet down the line. Suzune is literally so cute, I love him. There is an anime to this but I'm not sure if I will watch it, since I've already finished the manga. Maybe in the future I will, who knows hehe. This manga, along with Cardcaptor Sakura will always have a special place in my heart.

I was obsessed with Ojamajo Doremi and Kamichama Karin when i was younger. The latter was my introduction into manga and getting into those youtube episode hunts (like “ep 3 part 1/3” type stuff 😂)

With Doremi I was kinda torn cause I definitely wanted to draw all the girls but i wasnt sure about it with my time management 💦 i HAVE drawn Doremi, Aiko, and Hazuki years ago in a similar format and wanted to continue with Hana

I'm not surprised if we don't get Kamichama Karin Chu anime. If the Chu anime existed, like... there are a lot work to do besides the Chu's plot itself.

I mean, in first ep of Kamichama Karin anime itself, Karin is thrown to the past because of the chaos seed in the chronos clock. So... some fans expected the anime staffs to put the scene. If they do that, they have to fill the hole - a.k.a. what everyone else are doing while Karin is literally gone.

How Suzune searching for Karin as well as Jin and Michi saving them (KK ep.8) in full story to explain their actions and fill the hole; also Kazune and Suzune's time-travel to see Karin in KK ep. 22.

I guess if Chu anime staffs do the "Karin is thrown to the past" thing like the KK anime. They also have to put the boys' effort to locate Karin (especially Kazune), how they finds the clue, even to the most conspiracy plot - does this affect future Karin, etc. Etc. Which takes like 5 episodes maximum.

Too much work hole conspiracy theory to fill, considering this is about TIME TRAVEL. (Due to chaos seed, Karin's time travel in the anime seemingly doesn't follow the same way as the others do). More explanations are still required so the characters can fully understand what's going on. Maybe. And time travel is a complicated conspiracy. It is something like 'whoaa :OO".

Yet this is not the main plot... yet.

Day 3 is from Kamichama Karin by Koge Donbo.

This was one of those series that kickstarted my interest in manga as a kid, along with Di Gi Charat by the same artist.

Koge Donbo: Here’s a manga about this girl named Karin who finds out she can transform into a goddess with a magical ring! She leaves her old life behind to live with a cute boy named Kazune and his adorable cousin Himeka. Together Karin and Kazune become gods, fight evil together, and fall in love despite the odds!

Me: That’s so cute, aww--

Koge Donbo: Then it’s revealed that Kazune was an experiment created to perfect god transformation except he’s incomplete so every time he transforms he passes out for hours afterwards and will eventually kill himself from the strain if he isn’t careful. Also he’s a clone of his “father”, Kazuto, and his original self had reverted his wife Suzuka back into a baby to protect her from his crazy research partner, and Suzuka is revealed to be Karin, and on top of that Himeka is Kazune and Karin’s daughter, whose life is in mortal danger because of a threatening imbalance due to the power of the god rings and the fact that half of Kazuto’s research is hidden within her, AND that there’s another Himeka being kept on the enemy’s side with the other half of the research, and if the power balance tips one of them ends up ill while the other is healthy. Things get dangerous as Kazune almost kills himself from his transformations, Karin is struggling with discovering her past, Himeka gets sick as the power balance shifts, and the other side is desperate to wipe them all out :))))

Me: I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SHOUJO MANGA WHAT THE FUCK
