🔪 A headcanon relating to fighting/violence

In her younger days the number of fights she got into tallied somewhere in the hundreds. showing she was better, that she could beat the boys, was core to her very existence. As time went on she realized that the vast fortune she controlled was far more powerful than any punch she could have thrown. Still she’s not above teaching a recruit a thing or two if they should decide to mouth off in her presence.

Kali doesn’t lie, she just doesn’t tell people things they don’t need to know.

💝 A headcanon about their love language

Her love language is, well it’s complicated, Aria seems receptive to whatever the situation calls for and Kali is prone to a bout of flaunting a highly desirable woman, just to prove she can. In private the struggle for dominance, for control over the situation at hand, is ever present. Who will be able to catch the other off guard? Perhaps it is exhausting or perhaps exhilarating (it is likely both)

Alibi

Oh ho ho hoooo, no I haven't! I actually haven't been a lot into the R6 tags on AO3. I've been a bit for I think maybe doc and uhhhh Kapkan, (the Eliza and Kali x reader tags are my pet projects to get made common.)

I'm def gonna binge read this tonight as my bedtime story (✪ ω ✪) so thanks a bunch for recommending this, I'm always a slut for fic recommendations. That being said on a collab imma be real for yah this fic hadn't been updated in 2 years and the writer hasn't uploaded for a year. I, unfortunately, think the writer might have dipped from the fanfiction scene.

Collabs in general I think I'm a bit weird on writing (for me anyway) cause I don't want to intrude on other people's ideas (it gets awkward if you envision a character differently too) spesh in such an open-ended characterisation of characters. I personally tend to focus on their psych reports and build up on that with their voice lines and whatnot (which is why Kali is so interesting to me cause she cares about lives sure but then she also cares about being the best and having risks that pay off, I could talk about her for hours lmao don't get me started)

God that being said I am just horrible in group projects (high school and uni flashbacks) and my ADHD makes me super unpredictable when I actually write. I'm not the worst person in the team (ugh don't get me started on some of the people in my class when I was studying coding) but I'm not very... reliable? I'll do the work if I have a deadline but the quality will be.... acceptable. I guess that is also why I don't take a beta reader before I upload, I had someone offer before. I suppose I don't like people waiting on me?

Hmm, I can't remember where I was going for this, forgive my ramblings. ANYWAY, while I can't deliver you a collab (soz) I can give you whatever uh fanfiction that I stuff my google drive with, feel free to give me any fanfiction requests! The things I like line up pretty much what I write.

Right after the last match, jerico came bursting in with medical aid for ash, she speeds past some of the operators into the stadium.

An eagle flies by sitting on her shoulder, she walks quickly to the injured ash.

--Hey ash...how are you feeling?--She sat besides the american woman, softly stitching up her ear.

Eliza hissed,gaining a raised brow, quickly After she finished,she put a hand on jericos-- thank you, Harry does know how to choose trainees--she winks at her and jeri chuckles closing the medical aid.

--Ive got to go, dont get into any trouble--jer tilted her head-- 'kay?

Ash nodded and so jerico Walked away back to harrys Office.

--hey!--kali called to jerico as she Walked to the stadium where her teammates were- did you see how I won the match?

Jeri raised a brow-- are you FUCKING kidding me?! You endangered ash!, thats not how its played!

Kali rolled her eyes-- Its a game princess,you know that right?

Jerico was livid as she grips the medkits handle--and?! You have to be more careful! Im starting to doubt the second chance I gave you is worth it! Now move out of my way

She pushed past the hindi woman almost letting out smoke from her ears.

Jaimini gripped her rifle, looking away pushing past her own tears heavy heart with regret, IF only she had done the right thing the first time.

Harry had introduced the New coach trainee, jerico.

Now kali didnt really mind it much,thinking having her in the team was obselete.

Jeri had perked up from her book, her pet eagle, sunshine, resting on her lap"thats your opinion" she added as she looked at jaimini.

For the first week everyone seemed to like jer, she was a good listener and advice giver, even one of kalis most closest Friends,wamai had asked her for a bit of help once or twice.

So, jaimini tried, what was jerico all about, what did she bring to the table.

"Oh ms.shah, nice to see you" jericos Office was cozy,the walls were a dark warm green, a Window, big as the whole wall it was on,let the sunrays filter,she saw some family photos, Hanging plants and a little fireplace that cracked softly, and some toy stations for her eagle to play and rest on.

" well" kali started sitting infront of jeri" I wanted to see what youre all about"

Jer was hesitant, she didnt Open up easily,only after someone opened up to her first.

"They say youre a good problem solver is that right?"

" yeah?in a way I guess, why?"

"Then tell me how would you have stopped the fight between me and ash"

What fight?jerico looked at her tea tapping the porcelain surface with her nails.

Oh..yeah, the one after the last match, when ash hit kali Straight on the nose.

"Well,IF harrys objective is to make this Group a tight knit family then,I suppose ash was right, using people as bait isnt okay,strenght is in numbers...not lone wolfing it.

However theres the question,you show off and do things your way,you show others how good you are at everything,and you are very good at it " kali relaxed on her Seat leaning back with a smug smile, however jerico didnt mirror it,instead she made a pause, and took a sip of tea not sure as to how would Shah take what she was about to say.

"Youre trying trying to prove how good you are, but are you proving that to others...or yourself? If its the latter then I guess growing up always second guessed you and doubted you,maybe thats why you do it your way,maybe like that you feel more in controll, but sadly it isnt helping you anymore..."

Kali leaned in, with anger seething in her body, she stood up, jerico flinches putting her knees against her chest for a brief moment.

"So youre saying that winning isnt okay?"

"It isnt that, you asked a question and I answered it "

Jaimini left the Office fuming, and jerico sighed sipping from her tea.

The Next time she saw her, kali asked her for a favor, poor thing didnt know better and accepted.

She was horrified to know that that favor she did for her ended in an even bigger fight with wash, this time she couldnt stop It.

Ash left kali with a black eye,and kali left ash with a bleeding nose.

"You took advantadge of me!"

Kali looked up from her computer"i didnt"

"Yes you did! You knew that that favor would end up in a fight, God I was so stupid!"jeri was angry, she opened the door of kalis room "youre not proving yourself anything but that youre horrible kali, im on ash's side, what you did was wrong"

She closed the door as she left to her Office.

--Hey...you alright?-- ash asked, jer barely Drank but there she was drinking a shot of her dads favorite whiskey.

Jerico served up another shot, this one for ash who accepted it--After the fight I had with kali, I isolated myself in my Office for the rest of the day,zero came up to check on me with a cup of tea, and he got me out.

Just last week I noticed kali was acting weird, I asked her whats up, she told me she felt bad, very bad by what she did to me, And asked me if we could have a fresh start..., something told me she was being genuine but I dont know anymore...--

Ash sighed drinking form her shot-- hey kid, dont feel bad,kali is Real good at manipulating people, if you dont feel okay around her, youre welcome to practice your training with my unit

Jer smiled putting her head on elizas shoulder.

The american freezes for a bit, shed forgotten how demostrative jerico was with others.

Meanwhile kali was punching the guts out of a Boxing bag.

No matter what she did, she always wasnt good enough.

Jerico didnt see it, how kali would get flustered whenever she laughed, how jealous shed get whenever Zero flirted with her.

Jaimini didnt know how to Keep going,she fucked up one last time today at the tournament.

--Okay okay,whats the matter with you-- wamai said stopping kali from hurting herself by punching the bag way too strongly.

--Doesnt matter what I do, im never good enough for jerico, what am I doing wrong?--She pressed her head on the Mans chest,who hugged her comforting her.

He felt kalis tears seething into the fabric of his shirt--Have you tried being nice?

For a moment and completly serious kali looked up --What?

--you know, giving her flowers,asking her to go on a date with you?...--Jaimini stood in silence --Are you telling me that you seriously didnt thought of all of this?

The woman recomposed herself--i uh gotta go

And so she picked up her backpack and bolted to the showers as wamai sighed and facepalmed.

She couldnt quite place it,bit when talking to the kenyan Man there was something about his voice that was just so comforting, and it felt like home.

She stood up out of bed, a familiar sensation of claws appeared on her shoulder signaling that sunshine was awake.

Jeri opens the blinds, the perks of working here is that she gets a beautiful view of the sea.

Hearing the bed rustling she smiles as the Man Turned to face her still asleep.

"Cute"she thinks to herself as she walks to her closet,trying to make the smallest ammount of noise possible as to not wake up the Man.

She takes her trusty turtle neck sweater and some other clothes and pair of combat boots to then sneak out the door and walk to the showers.

She took maybe an hour in the shower,figuring by now that ngugi would be awake and gone.

Nope,hes still asleep.

Jer found it both amusing and cute, she sat besides him softly stroking his curly hair.

--hey ngugi, wake up--she said softly,the Man grunts and opens his eyes.

Her hand retreats from his hair and she smiles.

--morning--his voice is deep and raspy, he sits up stretching and making his neck pop--what hour is it?

--Its like...six am , why?

The Man quickly jumps out of bed--Ive got to go quickly! Kali is going to kick my ass if I dont get there right now

Jerico stood up giggling at the sudden informalness of wamai, putting a hand on his shoulder--First you need a shower and some food,hurry your ass up and meet me at the cafeteria--the Man stutters an excuse- ah-ah no ifs and or buts, shower and food first

She pats his chest playfully and walks outside with her eagle flying behind her.

The kenyan Man looks away and chuckles to himself, she surely was interesting.

While jerico waited for ngugi she sat there on the cafeteria with a couple of books and some paperwork.

--Im sorry but this spot Is taken--he said slamming a hand on the table.

--Hey Man--santiago said--we just talkin' a Man cant talk with his friend?

Another stern look forced the Argentine Man to leave,not before winking at jerico and patting her arm--bueno me rajan, me voy preciosa--(aight,theyre throwing me out, goodbye beautiful) he said walking away.

She giggles turning to wamai--Jeez jealous much ngugi?

Wamai sighs--My apologies I.. I dont know what took over me

Jeri shakes her head with a soft smile-- its okay, it was rather cute, but go get your food come on

After eating breakfast both went to their responsabilities.

--Bueenas!--(hello!)she said walking to Zero who was happy to see her.

--Hey, youre here what took ya so long?

She shrugged pulling her fluffy jacket closer,it was a rather windy day.

--Come here--he opened his jacket and she hid under it.

At one point jerico herself had to train, under her sweater was a sports top.

Now maybe it was the fact that she didnt sleep that well, maybe the fact that she had her mind in the clouds,but she was getting her ass handed to her in hand to hand combat.

This came with the sassy remarks of kali as jeri called it a day and was putting her sweater and blazer back on.

--If thats how her father trained her, I cant imagine how himself must be, a miracle he didnt die on the Battlefield

Jers hearing was somewhat supernatural, because for starters she wasnt one-hundred percent human.

She grunted trying to Keep her composture picking up her bag with sunshine perched on her shoulder.

Another sassy remark came as she Walked past jaimini--all those medals her father has? They are worthless,how did he let his daughter go into the military?, she inst built for this.

She Turned around walking to kali--the fuck you said to me?

Wamai who was running on the threadmill approached both women.

The other operators, specially smoke and mute took a look at what was happening.

--Im just saying that you and your father arent military material--jamini said-- you got your ass handed to you,If this is how the von-terras fight then its a miracle you made it this F--

She didnt finish because jerico punched her right on the nose, smoke and mute jump in keeping her from kicking kalis ass.

Wamai holds back his boss who looks at jerico in surprise.

The eagle flied behind her owner, she should probably get her bloody knuckles checked,but that didnt matter at the moment.

Harry would totally hear about that fight one way or another, but that wasnt important right now.

She sat there in her Office looking at the painting of her dad and her when she was young.

Hes about to say something but then a soft glow catched his attention what ngugi saw he couldnt Belive.

Massive fishes of every color,they glowed Giant octopi casually swiming above them.

And a song, he couldnt hear the words,but It came from the sea, he felt the beat in his whole body, as if the Ocean was speaking to him

Jerico let him walk around the fish for a bit, finding the cuteness of his Curiosity endearing.

But eventually they had to leave.

They Swim back to the shore.

--Wasnt that cool?

--How did you knew about that? How come i never saw any of that while diving?

Jer giggled putting a hand on his shoulder--Sometimes things dont want to be seen

She offered her hand and he took it walking close to her with her head on his shoulder..

They arrived to the dormitories--And...wamai one thing..

--Nor kali, or anyone can know about what you saw, got it?

He nodded, and softly stopped jerico from leaving, taking her hand--Thanks for showing me that...its nothing like I ever seen..

He took some steps forward, and so did she.

He leaned in and she did the same.

Jerico cups his cheeks and kisses him, he kissed back tilting his head, leaning a bit.

They press their foreheads togheter.

--Ill see you later then?

He nodds kissing her again--sweet dreams jerico

When she got to her room she collapsed on the bed sighing like a fool in love.

Sunshine curled besides her,looking at her owner with a smug smile.

Jer rolled her eyes softly passing out minutes after.

The worst of feelings always arise at the dead of night,some knew this more than others.

For Kali however it was one of the first times she had to deal with these feelings.

Jerico had come out of the shower after spending the evening swiming with wamai, she Walked to her Office,to find jaimini sitting infront of the Fireplace with her knees up to her chest, a cup of coffee sitting by her side.

Jeri sat with her putting a hand on her back, patting it-hey...whats up?

Kali looked at her smiling a bit putting her head on her chest--im not doing good,I was sitting at my desk doing some paperwork when this wave of feelings came to me...naturally I came here to the place I knew id be listened...--jeri pulled her closer, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

Jerico listened to jaimini talk about how she felt,all of this unworthiness that creeped up on her, this Fear of losing something dear to her.

Its maybe a couple of minutes talking when kali started to tear up--All im trying to say is, I just need a hug...

Jeri nodded and hugged her tightly caressing her hair, jaimini smiles nuzzling closer to her girlfriend.

She didnt need to do this alone.

The Next day jerico had gotten a bouquet of roses in her Office.

--from kali?--She looked at the other side of the card it read " pick you up at right, we're going somewhere fancy -Jaimini S."

She chuckled with her cheeks baby Pink, leaving the flowers to the side, starting to do her tasks for the day.

Things got more interesting at night as jerico Walked up to the entrance of the facility where kali was waiting for her, wearing a beautiful dark blue dress.

Jaimini almost passes out when she sees jeris gorgeous black dress,she took her hand--Ready to go?

--Of course!

The dinner was calm, and almost perfect,the food was equally good, and kali opened up to her a little bit.

Now back at the facilities of the program they Walked up to the roof of the dormitories building both sitting with some snacks and drinks.

Jaimini puts her head on Jers shoulder,feeling her arm sneak around her waist pressing her closer to her side.

--You know?--shah said breaking the ice--when I met you, I thought you didnt deserve to be here, that we didnt need someone to listen to our feelings...-- she heard jerico say " yeah you left that very clear" wich made her chuckle-- I was so wrong then, that day we fought, I felt so bad, and I didnt know why, I thought I was angry at you,turns out I was angry at me, for not being able to do things right, I felt so bad for treating you like that...and when you gave me this second chance I was so happy.. I know im rambling at this point but...I really...really like you, whemever youre around the world seems softer.. I hope you can forgive me

Jeri sighed lifting kalis face by the chin with her fingers-- I know you can do things right this time jai, I belive in you,and I hear you --She leaned in.

Kali with tears prickling at the corner of her eyes and a slight blush on her cheeks leaning in.

They kiss, for a brief time,that felt like a soft forever for them.

Both hug and jerico has her head on jaiminis.

She couldnt figure jeri out,kali didnt understand how there still were sensitive people in this cruel cold world.

Kali always said she needed no-one, but in the arms of jer she felt that emptiness inside of her heart finally filling.

She understood that even thought there were Many things to make up for, she would always have her.

They spend most of the night like that telling silly childhood stories until they decided to go inside and sleep on the nearest couch,even if tomorrow would be hell for the both of them,even if their colleagues wouldnt let them live it down.

As long as they had eachother everything would be alright.
