one of my favorite things about the rebuild of evangelion movies is when they do a series of posters that gradually change, like they used to do from 1.0 to 2.0. 3.0 broke the pattern (i see what you did there), but for 3.0+1.0 they brought it back with a vengeance, giving us several variations of the same poster for this one movie.

i found the color scheme for the "sunset" version so pretty that i just went ahead and deleted all the adults out of the picture (sorry, misato and kaji... i like you both, but the children are my babies. this has been established.) and made a desktop wallpaper out of it so i can stare at it to my heart's content. 😍 i haven't seen the movie yet (my brother needs to catch up on the previous ones, so it'll take us a few days to get to 3.0+1.0), but i CAN'T WAIT. 🤩

japanese text says "sayonara, subete no evangelion" or "goodbye to all of evangelion," which is the tagline for the movie.
