EIN DUNKLER TAG . . Gestartet im Dunklen, angekommen im Dunklen und dazwischen viele dunkle Momente erlebt. Trotzdem habe ich meinen längsten Lauf ever mit ca. 54km und 2.500hm gefinisht, war aber noch nie so kurz vorm aufgeben. Durch meine entzündete Schilddrüse und meinen JGA war ich die letzten 4-5 Wochen fast nicht mehr laufen. Ob das Schuld war? Keine Ahnung. Aber ich habe meine Oberschenkel schon nach 15km und 1.000hm gemerkt und da standen noch 40km bevor. Dank aufmunternder Worte, vielen Gels und einer ganzen Packung Gummibärchen konnte ich mich am Ende dann doch durchkämpfen. Für den @grosserarber hat es ganz knapp nicht mehr gereicht, da es sonst zu dunkel geworden wäre. Ihr merkt, so richtig happy bin ich mit der Leistung nicht. Ich hoffe es finden 2021 ein paar Rennen statt um mich mit der Ultradistanz doch nochmal zu versöhnen. . . Ziel erreicht und trotzdem nicht ganz zufrieden? Ist euch das schon einmal passiert? . . . . (English) A DARK DAY . . Started in the dark, arrived in the dark and experienced many dark moments in between. Nevertheless, I finished my longest run ever with about 54km and 2,500 meters of altitude, but was never so close to giving up. Due to my inflamed thyroid gland and my stag do I almost didn't walk for the last 4-5 weeks. Was that the fault? No idea. But I noticed my thighs after 15km and 1,000 meters and there were still 40km to go. Thanks to encouraging words, lots of gels and a whole pack of gummy bears, I was finally able to fight my way through. For the @grosserarber it was just not enough, otherwise it would have been too dark. You notice, I'm not really happy with the performance. I hope there will be a few races in 2021 to reconcile myself with the ultra distance. . . You achieved your goal and still not completely satisfied?
