Cuddle time
They’re just like cats… Napping in the sun on the afternoon <3
I don’t usually draw Irene’s scars (mostly cause I forget…), but I truly think she has a bunch of them from past adventures, they’re just hidden by clothes most of the time. She hates showing them, cause it brings up questions that can ruin her disguise, but with Kai and Vale she doesn’t need to hide her scars. Or her story. They know her.

Kai’s Love Language
A few days ago, someone made a post about Kai’s love language being physical touch, but he doesn’t know that.
And that got me thinking about Irene hugging Kai, and I also wanted to practice drawing interactions. Unfortunately, I’ve been having angst thoughts, so enjoy Kai having nightmares about Veneza and waking up in the middle of the night, at least he got Irene to remind him that’s all over, that he is home, and safe, and here with her.
Oh, and special mention to my “Irene wears modern clothes even in Vale’s world because they’re very comfortable” headcanon
