anyway before I put together smth to eat what did I dream about..?

part of my dream was a dream about sleeping. except I was in my room at mom's house at around 7pm when the sun was just about freshly down but not dark yet everything was blue there was the neighbors kid maybe 5-7 years hanging out doing SOMETHING in the corner? some kind of computer game he wanted to show me...? idk. i was trying to sleep. until he told his mom that I was sleeping instead ot watching him & I was like well I can't look bad to the parents I guess so I got up I don't remember what he was playing. I think it was a turn based game for kids mouse controlled only. who knows.

then later, something about going upstairs from my room to a spaceship? or maybe I went downstairs.maybe it was just like a higher tech lab, but not high tech in an everything is white way but more how you'd see a kids lab from like an older movie. like spy kids maybe. idk lots of round flared designs, Windows that bulged out aand were like thick green or orange or purple. kind of like a kids playground at mcdonalds or something. I miss those they just don't let you do those anymore in your 20s.... anyway. indony remember much of the lab. some omega striker characters were there. I remember estelles new skin + atlas + Luna, & I think atlas got gravely injured stabbed or shot in the lung maybe body blocking for his sister ? Juliette was there too. and shenhe.. anyway he tried to heal himself but it wasn't working, so he used the lab to pit himself into stasis. luna didn't totally get it - not sure if she was in denial (considiering the loss of both their parents) or if atlas shielded her from knowing just how badly he was hurt. Julie & shenhe left briefly on some kind of travel pod to go to the nearby outpost or planet or something to explore to look for resources, but as soon as they left they messaged back again sounding haggard like thank god you're still here & it turns out there was a time anomaly related to where they were going. it brought back someone's grandma who'd come to visit us as a teenage girl.

that's where my dream memory ends but as long as im slightly mentioning omega strikers i think that purely from a character design standpoint kazan is really meh. 2/10. hater shit below

his outfit just looks bad. on his splash art they wanted him to look crazy so they gave him anime shading around the eyes but on his model he just looks like he's wearing a solid black mask. and his giant earring tassels thst look like extensions of his hair are weird, and I think his outfit is really bland it's just a black long jscket shirt over orange pants & it's all got triangles on it. idk maybe they dressed him plainly to emphasize his umbrella more & I guess it's cool they're shaking traditional umbrella fighter stereotype by not making him noble or refined it or a classy gentleman or whatever, but he's just like the joker of violence. his kit is ok it's cool he can change stances but I'm just talking from an appearance standpoint. he is ugly and his outfit sucks!!!

at least with other characters I don't like the appearance of as much either, like their personality jumps out at you immediately. Estelle's outfit with the giant shoulders cape & the skintight bodysuit is like yes this is a woman who's proud of herself and knows she looks good. kai is kai. he's got the swaggy over the shoulders jacket and a relatively plain outfit underneath. this also tells me a lot about him. even atlas 's base skin is like ok this guy is sturdy, reliable, also sciency, he's even got all the constellations inside his sleeves. i like atlas but his bsse skin is only ehh to me.like you can tell from looking at him what he's like.

and the main thing about kazan that conveys anything to me is that he stands like a crazy person on the select screen and hes doing finger guns to his head in his splash art. no drip at all. even rasmus has "young scientist" vibes.

i play with voice acting off also. I don't want to hear any of them talk. i did see that scaramouche's VA was kazan, so that's another point for him though. pat pedraza did a great job with scara. ok the end

Damon – considering Salvatore's family wealth, he can be a casino owner or smth (if he has no access to family money, then either bartender or stripper)

Stefan – vet is a nice idea but I'm kinda afraid to let him near animals after his special diet... Dunno, he seemed pretty happy with being a car mechanic, maybe that's it. Perhaps he could be a race car driver. As an alternative, he can be a journalist, or writer, or literary critic

Caroline – she said in s1 she dreamed of being a reporter and she became one in s7. Wedding planner is also very suitable for her tho <3

Bonnie – hands down, totally can be a model, even tho me and my friend thought she can be occult studies professor like her Grams was

Tyler – he was a bank trader in s7 or s8, I think?

Jeremy – a comic artist

Enzo – a chief in Italian restraunt

Kai – comedian/blogger

Katherine – an actress (she's good at pretending, so why not?)

Klaus – an artist

Elijah – a lawyer 100%

Rebekah – a fashion designer

Kol – in my opinion, he could be a cardist and a showman (kinda Apollo Robbins-style), and/or a keeper of a magical shop (partially for tricks, partially for esoteric goods)

Marcel – some famous club owner or singer (or both)

Cami – psychologist but your idea of her owning bakery is soooo alluring and cute

Hayley – your idea with her being interviewer is also pretty nice, she would sass people so much (might be that's how she met Klaus/Elijah)

Also Nya declined the possibility of being a ninja back in s1(if we're looking for in-universe reasons).Sure,it was the green ninja role,but the important thing is that she was content being a samurai.Wu could have said the powers thing, but at the moment it wouldn't change anything.

Morro thing is interesting bc in s4 Garmadon said that he studied under Chen when he was Lloyd's age and while this may vary from age hcs,that's still young(considering Lloyd's voice changed 4 seasons later,he must have been a teen back during ToE).In s5 Wu said that he took in Morro while Garm was studying under Chen. Wu is even younger than Garm.They're both thousands of years old but we're talking about the mental age here.Wu was being a teen parent and being a teacher for the first time,his only example being FSM,who due to his own trauma and past wasn't the best(cycle of trauma in FSM family).In the flashback where Morro provokes a Grundall,Wu saves him.It's unlikely they were in the same place by coincidence.That means...Wu went after Morro when he ran away and it's Morro who pushed him away.Plus,Wu had no way of knowing Morro wasn't the green ninja.He believed in that almost as much as Morro himself did,just not to the point of unhealthy obsession.AND he learned from that mistake by not pushing the green ninja mantle on his next students(they still found out and Kai nearly faced the same fate Morro did,but escaped with Lloyd being revealed as the gn but that's destiny not Wu).Morro being 30 also kind of depends on each person's interpretation(I think he's a teen, around 15-16(just sharing my opinion)) but he still did smth to end up in the Cursed realm aka literal hell and that's likely his own fault and so is everything that happened after.His death is also of his own arrogance for thinking he'd succeed in what is deemed a suicide mission of finding FSM's tomb.In this entire conflict both had done some mistakes,but it was inevitably destiny that ended it in tragedy(Morro's mistake was being arrogant and obsessed,unable to move on.Wu's was failing as a teacher but that's exactly what's happening with Lloyd in DR.He's failing Arin too and everyone's talking about those parallels,but noone seems to blame Lloyd...bc he's a child soldier with no experience in teaching and a flawed role model he idolized?Wu was one too and he idolized FSM aka his own flawed father,but he doesn't always get understanding from fans bc he was introduced as a mentor figure but isn't perfect).

The reason I included Chen was bc Wu knew of him from 1st serpentine war,but yeah,he's more of a Garmadon's past.Neither had a way of knowing Chen would cause trouble(unless they tried to look into a popular noodle house restaurant and why would they do that?)

Why does this show miss so many opportunities with Wu, they dont even try with writing his character properly.

Kai headcanons because I’m tired and cant think of anything else:

Kai both does and doesn’t have a concept of monetary value. Like imagine they go grocery shopping and they need to buy essentials like ingredients, veggies, hygiene stuff to stock up on. Like usually whenever the other ninja went with their families they were able to buy some extras like candy or toys, maybe some more clothes despite having many just cause they like it or smth. With Kai? This guy slaps it out of their hands and says it’s not worth the waste when they’re only here for essentials. Wu gave them money for that only, so they best budget and make sure they can buy everything they need and maybe some extras of those things or else. None of them realise how confused Wu is when a proud Kai returns believing he saved up money by being smart and responsible, when Wu actually gave them extras to use there as like an implied thing. But when it comes to things of value, this guys has no idea what to do, take for example with Ronin. He had no idea how much the thing could cost but knew they had to pay it or else. But he’s also horrible at negotiating because he can’t properly understand the worth of what they’re negotiating the deal on and can’t see when it might be worse or better.

Kai was a shockingly quiet kid. Like yes he was still ‘aggressive’ and rude, but like never spoke on his own. Nya was always the talker between the two, but even she doesn’t talk as much as often. So usually Kai would silently accept a lot of things as a child until he grew older and got a bit of an attitude so despite being often silent that one quiet kid in the back who does everything right will and probably has cussed you out if you step out of line.

Nya actually cut Kai’s hair when they were younger because she was bored and Kai fell for her trap and ended up thinking it wad a great idea since his hair had gotten too long. She messed it up however since, you know, she was like max 6, and Kai’s hair came out nothing like the picture they had of their dads. Kai almost cried at how it didn’t turn out like how he wanted when Nya giggled and said his hair looks like a “Really cool fireee!”. No, Nya does not remember that she’s the reason Kai keeps his hair like that.

Kai loves fish, he likes dragging Nya outside to summon some and makes her stay with him until he’s bored. Nya likes eating fish.

Kai likes jumping into his rlly bulky and tall mechs and then posing like a school girl or a cute model in them. Jay once managed to convince him to Jojo pose and they distracted an enemy because of it. Cole and Lloyd cussed them out, except Cole couldn’t stop laughing and Lloyd’s hair kept blowing in the wind dramatically every time he changed his position so it looked like he posing. He made them run up and down the monastery mountain steps five times each way. Cole too.

You know those really cute candle holders? So like Kai convinced Pixal to make him a fire proof bear suit, wore it outside in the dark, in the middle of the training ground, with everyone asleep. He lit himself on fire and he looked like a glowing monster bear with teeth and blood (shadows and ketchup, he was hungry). He thought it looked cute and cool. Zane screaming, malfunctioning, and then screeching “THY BEAST MUST BE SLAIN!” And shooting ice at him was not a part of the plan (Zane watched Macbeth the movie before sleeping). Both refuse to apologise to each other but after a day of ignoring one another Jay watches as Kai clings to a Zane full koala like when he’s doing chores.

Cole tries to teach Kai how to draw. Kai, for the life of him, cannot. Even stickmen look wonky and wrong.

Kai, surprisingly enough, has amazing handwriting. Everyone gets him to write stuff like letters for them because either theres is worse then a kid in nursery, or they wanna impress someone.

Kai really likes having something around his arms, like bandages, gloves, cloth, anything. For special events, he lets Cole tie silk ribbons around his arms like bandages.

Kai wishes he had soft hands. Everyone loves the feeling of his rough hands though. It comforts them.

Kai also loves cracking his knuckles. He loves doing it around Wu, who hates the noise and smacks Kai with his staff, who cackles and does it again.

At bad times in his life, Kai sits and lights a fire when the moon is at its highest point, out in the dark where it’s cold.

Kai loves stealing Jay’s action figures by accident. Jay was annoyed at first until he saw Nya giving Skylor an unintentional wide eyed look whilst holding a doll after Skylor said “oh, yeah i forget i had this old thing, don’t really like it tbh” disinterestedly. Jay put together whats what when Skylor blinked and said Nya could have it with a grin, who legit giggled. Nya. Giggling. Jay puts his action figures on a shelf and never touches them, giving an impression to someone who isn’t a collector (who couldn’t afford to be one) that they aren’t that important. Jay begins buying more action figures and other stuff he usually wouldn’t but knows Kai or Nya would love and leave it somewhere like it’s always been there. Says something under is breath just loud enough for a peeping ear to hear about how he might throw it away, and the next day its gone. Sometimes, he outright hands it to them saying he doesn’t like it but doesn’t wanna waste it. The other ninja, plus Pixal and Wu, pick up whats going on and do the same. Later in the years (after the re-design and sog) Kai and Nya long picked up on whats going on, they still love it regardless because it makes them feel less guilty (no no guys they definitely didn’t break down sobbing after Jay gave them a water themed colouring book for adults and Kai a mimic of Mitsuri Kanroji’s sword from demon slayer (a fake), definitely not.)

(Lowkey just realised this is very similar to a Morro fanfic of ao3, No i did not realise it when i wrote it but i do now, its where Morro likes collecting seemingly useless stuff left in places no one would leave smth special at. It’s because Morro was a homeless orphan, so he takes useless things in to give them importance. Love that head canon and fanfic it’s on ao3 guys omg. Imagine resurrected Morro doing that and Kai and Nya just realising in horror that THEY do that too. They get it, and dammit Morro is more similar to them than they would’ve liked.)

Kai totally likes wearing those happy birthday head bands even when it’s not his birthday and acts like he isn’t. If someone says happy birthday to him, he looks at them all judgy like and says “Its not my birthday? What gave you that impression?”

Kai actually easily gets sick, and hates it. The others have to time his down so he’ll actually get rest and not just push through it regardless. It takes summoning the duo of Wu AND Maya to get him to stop.

When the og four ninja met for the first time and right after they stopped Garmadon and got back to their realm, they still hadn’t actually gotten to know each other so Kai used to run away from them like the secret introvert he was groomed into being and it took Nya tackling him to get him to finally play those “super cringy bonding games”

Kai was subjected to Lloyd’s glowing green eyes staring at him constantly with no words exchanged. When the silence got too much and Lloyd just kept staring Kai asks what his problem is. Lloyd says “oh nothing, muchacho” and Kai realises Lloyd is still petty over what happened in the first episode.

her real name is umika! i explained why here. though she’s still nicknamed as ‘kai’ irl from fans & costars

her family was famous too (her mom a singer, her dad an actor, her grandma/his mom an actress too), so she was in the spotlight ever since she was born. she was often referred to by the media as a ‘princess’ given all her family’s history in the industry!

that being said, she got into the business really young as well. she wasn’t too interested in singing & couldn’t sit still as a kid to model, so opted for acting. 

as for kh, she first got the role in kh1 at 12 years old (so she was younger than kairi in kh1, who was 14) -- and is now older than kai as production has went on !! (she’s 18 irl, kai’s 16)

she really adores playing kairi and tries to bring as much of a personality to her as she can, though feels like her presence in the show is very limited & wishes the writers would do more with kairi

her irl personality is pretty similar to kairi’s kh1 one (upbeat, a bit feisty), but becomes much more serious when she’s working.

since she grew up around showbiz, she’s p knowledgeable abt it. she's grown up learning from her fam abt what works and what doesn’t, in terms of both the acting & behind the scenes aspects. thus, she is really insistent on getting her scenes & lines right (but tbh it doesnt take her many takes to get it perf). she also has a bad habit of wanting to reshoot things just b/c she isn’t happy with how a costar did smth, or how a certain prop was set up, etc etc. she can come off a bit snobby because of this, but she means well. 

really secretive during interviews. a Closed Book. u cant get anything out of her

my dad is there. he is looking... sullen. in a mood, as he sometimes did, and this also made him... weird and frigbtening. so. i quicksave. my mom is sleeping deeply in rhe parenr bedroom, as she was so wont to do in the middle of the day. ah... i grab my knife, as it makes me feel a little bit more safe and capable. i know, around then, that dad has just stabbed my mom to death in her sleep. this permanently deforms the bed such that the right side is curved up to be at fully pointing uo (weird dr3am physics).

i sneak around the hous3. maybe he doesnt know imchere. i try ans fail to message one kf my friends to please pl3ase please call 911 (no internet, battery died, Weird Dream Reasons.. etc).

so. my dad is outside of the bedroom. i have locked the door. "whyve ya locked the door, bud?" oh god oh god "just lookin for somethin, haha! gotta head back to school p quick" neiyher of us believes the other. he pulls on the door and i can hear it about to give way. i flip open my knide. it does nktbing to protect me as he kills me.

i quickload. we do it all again. this happens... a few tkmes, trying different means of defending mys3lf, different means of trying to get the police called, different means of trying to calm him down so he doesnt kill me... etc.

on the final one. iirc what saved my life was "hey dad wanna help me, uh. with this projext that invomved machinery and stuff?" (mirroring how when i was a kid i always tried to be inte4ested in whatever Handy projects he was doing, bc it was one od the only ways i could get him to look at me with what didnt feel like disgust/disappointment. i felt like i was better than my sibling (who didnt show up in the dream at all btw. i assume they were at school) becaause i did these things with him. he didnt really like either of us, i think.) so. we both went upstairs. futzed with some valves. some machinery stuff. it was.... awkward and unpl3asant and the atmosphere (ha!) was wretched and heavy, with the looming fear that he would snap and get angry again (just like 45% of my childhood *guitar riff*).

so... we skip forward, about a year or two. i dont know how, like. these things worked out sich that he didnt go to prison. my sibling still isnt in the house, maybe they fled. i was still there. the house has become warped, twisted, in that way dreams can do but reality cant. like a bugged video game level, in some places. like someone had taken the model of my home and just... played with it, i guess.

anyway. dad is in a sullen and violent mood again. but this time im not afraid for me (mostly. he might still get mad and kill me too probably). he has a shovel. i know that he is going to kill himself (like i was always afraid he would). im in the front yard, futzing around. "hey. im working on smth out back." "do ya want me to help?" "no" (we had that exchange a lot. i asked if he wanted me to jelp a lot and he said no a lot. later i realized that maybe hed say yes more if i said "can i help" insread, but... i was a kid. can i be blamed for not knowing how to comm7nicate wifu my emotionally damaged/ing father? he was a fuckin asshole and heartily believed "buh wuh well i cant *want* help but also youre a lazy piece of shit for not helping me more" god he whined (by which i mean muttered angrily in a way that scared me) sooooooo muuuuuuch about how he did everything ny himeself in thus house). "just.... stay in the front yard, kay son?" (gender in dreams is weird. it didnt hurt tho.)

he goes to the back yard. i can hear him digging. he's going to bury himself alive (idk id thats possible, but whatevwr. its a dream.)

 if you’re about grey moralities, ambiguity, and anti-heroes, you’ll probably love Fallane. he’s also very protective, and a single dad of energetic twins so there’s no shortage of relatability, either. but I think a lot of his charm comes from his interactions with other characters, because he feels very strongly and brings many things other characters are afraid to say. there’s a weighty sense of honesty with him, and a real desire to do right by the world and help the downtrodden. he also struggles with trauma and mental illness and he’s really, really messed up but he

Eliza is a character from the second wave of this ‘verse, so she’s quite old to have changed so little.
