Finally finished this because my beloved has been begging and pleading for a new lock screen so this is our DnD characters Orion and Kahriq snuggled up in dragon form.

It is so precious to me that it is in fact up in my Redbubble in case you need to dragon soulmates having a little cuddle after saving the world.

Instead of doing something spooky I finished up an old WIP of Kahriq and Orion.

After Orion admitted to being a spy it took a while for Kahriq to trust them again, but when she did they took her for a beautiful sunrise swim among a coral reef.

So our DnD characters are going to a gala, and I’ve been working (very slowly) on our fancy outfits. I’ve been trying to get them into a good paper doll set up too, so I can sub out armor and different outfits without redoing all the base stuff.

Wanted to post a WIP of my beloved and I's characters having a little dragon cuddle. Not so many commissions to keep me busy so I make nerdy art just for me.

So here’s Orion and Kahriq cuddling before bed.

My betrothed's DnD character Kahriq is a half elf cleric/fighter. She fell in love with my character Orion, who was secretly a dragon sent to spy on her. After they resolved the drama, they embarked on a quest to turn Kahriq into a dragon too. So here's Kahriq's new dragon form for when they accomplish this goal.

howdy! i love the stories about your dnd shenanigans and I was wondering if any new fun hijinks had occurred? or anything that happened in the past that just didn't get told!

Okay I did consider writing this one and since you askkkk.

My current party is composed of a bunnyfolk barbarian: Tor’rac, a circle of swarm eladrin druid: Evo, my beloveds half-elf fighter/cleric Kahriq, and my tiefling (but really a dragon) bard, Orion.

So my party and I were breaking into a prison to free some fae that were being held captive. Step one was Orion issuing an invitation to a higher up in charge of the prison. They suggested he might enjoy a private dance. Since they’re known as a performer and courtesan he was very excited.

He took us up on the suggestion and met us at a rented venue with bodyguards. Orion cast Seeming over the party to disguise everyone as dancers and made his guards wait outside. Then they sexily tied him to a chair while the party waved ribbons around and danced. Once he was tied up Orion cast Silence and the party started beating the shit out of him while his guards couldn’t hear.

Once he was unconscious Kahriq used Teleportation Circle to get us out of there. We interrogated him then called in a favor to banish him to the faewilds when he insisted that fae weren’t people. Evo was pretty steamed up about it, being of fae origin.

So we get to the prison. Orion used Alter Self to impersonate him, and had the party looking like his guards. We had the right passcodes and got in. We broke out the fae prisoners using combinations of Knock and Silence.

Then we ran into a bunch of cultists performing blood magic on a fae. We ended up killing them all and freeing the last fae. Evo dug a tunnel out and Kahriq closed the passage with Stone Shape.

We were out. We were home free with all the fae. But then Orion was like, “Damn. I learned some new magic and I could have totally animated those dead bodies to make life harder for this evil company.”

Everyone loved this plan so much that we broke back into the prison, animated all four corpses to attack the prison guards, then left again.

So in our wake we left four doors with magic locks untampered (since Knock only disables the alarm for ten minutes), one door had the magic blasted off with Dispel Magic, four reanimated corpses, and no sign of the guy I was pretending to be who never left.

But Evo was still pretty pissed at that guy we’d kidnapped and banished. So they told the fae we just rescued, “Hey, we saved your lives and you owe us a blood debt, find this shithead in the faewild and make sure he never sleeps again.”

Sometimes my betrothed and I talk about homebrew magic items for DnD. Specifically, off the grid sex magic stuff. Because honestly, if you think about it, the market for sexy magic would be through the roof.

A mage who invents a new sex spell would have it made, that’s it, they can just cast this one spell forever and be set for life. People love getting it on and they love gadgets with which to do so.

Because this is a niche topic I’m gonna stick it under a cut, read on for sexy silliness.

Some of the items we imagine are very standard, just nice ways to magically improve a sex life. Easy access to magic lube, portable sex toy storage, specific toys. The idea I came up with yesterday however is… very cursed.

It came up from us discussing our characters sex lives, as you do. My character Orion is gender fluid and can rearrange their anatomy at will to suit whatever they’re feeling. Kahriq is a cis lady. We’ve already posited that there’s a ring of dick-having if Kahriq wants to mix things up sometimes.

But my betrothed was asking if they’d ever use a toy even though Orion can have a penis and I was like, oh, of course, sometimes you need that for different positions. Then after a pause I was like, “It’s too bad they wouldn’t be able to feel what the toy was doing though.”

And from this seed my betrothed and I came to two very different conclusions. Their idea was to have a magic item you attune to that transfers sensation from the toy to your own body so it feels like you’re doing the fucking. This is a solid magic item, feeling the sensation on your own body is a great concept.

My idea was to have a magic cock ring that popped your penis off and made it into a sex toy. Like a penis portal cock ring. When I told my betrothed this idea their whole face scrunched up in absolute disgust. “Popping the dick off?! That’s what you came up with?!”

“Yeah, and you could give yourself a comfortable blowjob by just detaching it which I think is pretty cool!” This was a lie. I thought my idea was bizarre and a little unsettling to picture but I’m nothing if not a sales person.

They argued that it was in fact horrifying to pop off body parts and if we’re being honest I have to agree that their idea was just better in every way. But mine still has a certain charm. I bet my penis pop off cock ring would still sell.

Edit to add: it would appear I am not the first person to have this idea which is comforting in its own way.
