I will say Felix is a lot more complex and sympathetic in his circumstances, bc the harm he causes LB and Paris is in service to those he cares about- his fellow sentibeings. Jungkook looked at you, his eyes carefully watched you as you came out of your room, you looked up to see him, there he was, sitting against the kitchen counter with a bottle of soju in his hands.

“Thanks for confirming. Yes I am.” You replied, looking for your red heels. You had put them right outside your room at the halls walls.

“I think your heels are there.” Jungkook pointed to the opposite side of the wall and you hmm, muttering a ‘thank you’ as you pick them up and wear them.

“Goodness I think I’m kinda late already.” You huff in disappointment. Jungkook chuckles at that making you stop what you’re doing and you roll your eyes at him.

“It’s not funny, jeon.” Jungkook shrugs. “I didn’t say it was, but it’s just such a you thing, yn.” He’s got that playful smile on his lips, “you’re always late.” He states it as a matter of fact.

Your housemate is so annoying.

“Haha okay.” You reply to him sarcastically. Jungkook winks at you.

“So is it a date?”

And very nosy too.

“Why do you care? But yes.” You pick up the purse and your coat, wearing in a hurry. “I don’t know, we’ll see how it goes though.”

Jungkook nods, his lips pursed together in a straight line. “When is it going to be my turn yn?”

That question makes you stop in your tracks.

“When can I take you out on a real date?”

You sigh, “jungkook.” You don’t know how to say it, he knows the answer but he always asks the same question again and again.

“You just broke up with your girlfriend.” You remind him, grabbing your keys. “And never” It’s hard for you to be so blunt about this, but you have to be honest.

He’s not your type.

“You’re not my type.”

You hear his tongue click and he gets up from the seat to walk up to you.

“Ouch. Too bad you are my type.” He confesses. “But it’s okay. I’ll just have to wait and convince you.” He rolls his arms across his chest.

“Have fun.” He winks again and stares at you in a weird way, almost like if he was heartbroken, you gaze back at him and it makes you feel like a bitch.

but you know better.

Guys like Jungkook were never heartbroken. Guys like him broke hearts.

“Thanks jeon, you too.”

And you can’t afford to have your heart broken again.

You feel like it’s almost and truly hypocritical of you to go on a date whilst keep rejecting Jungkook.

And this is not fun either.

“Umm, I don’t really have anything fun to share about me.” You are not sure of what to say or how to make this conversation go forward.

It’s been so long since you’ve been on a date.

And this guy? You’re not too sure about what to feel about this. “It’s okay. I know it can be hard but, you do seem interesting to me,” He seems okay. But you are not too sure if you want this to go further.

And it’s not him that’s the problem.

You are.

“Also the food was quite good? No?” Your date, Hyun-Jae asks you, you smile despite your inner dilemma and nod. “Thank you, I really did enjoy this time with you.”

A lie.

You did not, actually this was a mistake, you had just wasted a nice guy’s time. Why did you even agree to this? You weren’t ready emotionally for dating again.

This was a bad decision and you feel so bad.

“So? It’s quite late now? Would you like for me to take you home?” You stand and the man follows. “Umm actually Hyun-Jae? You go ahead, I’ll manage.”

The smile of Hyun-Jae falters.

Damn, you really are a bitch

God, the guilt that’s weighing down on you has you feel suffocating, your past relationships have fucked you up so bad.

You give him a small smile and bow your head, the guy doesn’t speak a word and does the same, you pick up your stuff and pull out your wallet to get the cash out, you put it on the table and signal the waiter.

“I’m sorry.” That all you say before you leave the restaurant.

You don’t think you’re capable of dating someone anymore.

Jungkook feels so distracted.

For the last few hours, especially since you left. His mind has been fixated on the same thing.

You looked so incredibly beautiful in that dress.

And someone else had the privilege of seeing that so closely, probably. He munches on the popcorn harder, so much that he almost bites his tongue.

Jungkook wants you so bad.

The movie plays yet it fails to interest him, your thoughts are enough to keep him occupied, he doesn’t understand this infatuation that he has with you, his roommate or housemate.

You are so effortlessly beautiful, that’s for sure, you’re so different from what he’s used to when it comes to women.

You have him hooked.

But you don’t want him, you’ve made that clear since day 1. It is unfortunate for him.

But maybe it’s his karma.

Jungkook’s eyes are fixed on the large screen but the frustration doesn’t die down.

He wishes you’d want him too, give him a chance to prove that he can change. He can change for you.

Meaningless sex is actually worthless to him now, it doesn’t help him get over this huge crush that he has on you.

And his methods of ‘getting over you’ aren’t the most moralistic, they don’t help his case either.

No matter how much clear Jungkook makes his interest in you, you keep on rejecting him.

Maybe this is what he deserves for being a fuck boy.

A chance at love gone.

Before Jungkook can sulk into the couch even more, the door opens, his ears perk up at the sound of your keys juggling and he tilts his head, muting the film.

“Welcome back, yn.” He stands up as you come in, putting the bowl of popcorn down, you greet him back, shutting the door behind you.

“Hey jeon.” You look at your roommate and see a silly smile on his face. “Bad date I’m guessing?” He grabs your coat and purse as you sit down on the couch.

Your feet hurt a lot.

“Bad me.” You sigh sadly. Jungkook sits down beside you, looking at you with his brown eyes filled with curiosity.

“What do you mean?” He asks you and you close your eyes.

He’s going to think you’re so stupid.

“Yeah no I just… in the middle of the dinner with such a nice guy I realised my relationship issues. I can’t be a good partner.”

He doesn’t reply, Jungkook knows you well. His feelings pushed aside, Jungkook knows you have a lot going on.

“Jungkook I feel so bad…” you don’t look at him but he can tell you’ve got tears in your eyes. It makes his heart clench.

“Yn..” he calls out your name, moving closer to you to hold you tight. “It’s okay.” He pulls you into his embrace and you don’t resist, letting him take you into his arms.

Jungkook holds you so close to his heart.

It feels so good to him, that is a foreign feeling for him.

“It happens, you’ve been through so much. I’m sorry.” He apologises to you, “you’re perfect though, y’know?” His hands caress your shoulders.

“Even though I used to be such a fuckboy? I too used to have a ton of bad dates.” He laughs, you laugh too, it makes him happy.

“You’re still a fuckboy, koo.” You reply, and he tells you to shut up.

“That’s not the point yn. But if you feel so sad, let’s have some ice cream together and watch a movie and you can vent all you want.”

“I’ll always listen to you, your dear fuckboy is here for you!”

It only makes you laugh harder. And he can’t stop smiling like a fool hearing you laugh so beautifully.

tell us of the failed adrientte plz

Okay, so we have to go into the TWEOS lore with this one, irrefutable fact:

Adrien and Marinette were supposed to be made for each other.

This is because, like in canon, the miraculouses work better with strong bonds and like. In canon Adrinette is brought up multiple times to be the best relation to ever ship. In TWEOS, this is basically the kwamis playing matchmaker with their paper dolls. Because, in essence, that is what all holders are to them.

This is why both Marinette and Adrien display obsessive tendencies, albeit towards different people—The idea was that they'd latch onto one person (each other), and then it would stick.

Instance 1: Marinette latched onto Adrien long before she ever got her Miraculous.

The issue: She latched onto the idea of him marketed by Gabriel. No umbrella scene whatsoever. Adrien is her celebrity crush that she loves as if she's been in a years-long committed relationship.

Instance #2: Adrien latched onto... Claudia.

The issue: Not Marinette. Very much not Marinette. Despite everything any of the kwamis (or anyone else in Adrien's life) could ever do to pry him away from Claudia, Adrien will refuse to budge. He was practically designed to be a codependent partner, and it will show.

Next point—Because Adrinette is endgame, neither Marinette nor Adrien can have a fulfilling relationship before that. So Luka, Marinette's "fake" boyfriend, is an asshole who wants to have his cake of the Viperbug celebrity pairing and also be a womanizing local rockstar. Likewise, Kagami, Adrien's betrothed, never clicks with him, and her limited perspective means she's unwilling to fully relate to him without reflecting on the ways her mother has lied to her.

(There's also parallels between Kagami and Marinette in terms of their view of Adrien, even though the reverse between Luka and Adrien isn't as strong since Adrien has never really considered Marinette as a romantic interest. —unless, of course, that's the parallel in which case we found it!)

"But Wis, Claudia and Adrien are working out?"

...............eh. I can't even safely say they don't make each other worse, just that they're not getting worse alone. Also, by the point that Claudia and Adrien accept that they're a thing (and Claudia starts to close off because she suddenly realizes her flirtations have consequences), the scaffolding is already crumbling and also on fire. It would take a miracle for Adrinette to be healthy at that point, and yet Plagg and Tikki are still trying to get the Adrinette train back on track.

But they will fail.

Mitobe’s form of mutism

So I was thinking about our silent big boy Mitobe, and got to thinking about what form of mutism he seems to have. There are two instances in the show that hints that seems to be able to speak. One is during their (2nd I believe?) match against Shuutoko, Mitobe can be seen (and even heard at least in the dub) shouting Kagami’s name.

The other instance is where he can be seen shouting and cheering with the rest of the team.

So it seems that he can talk but only when he genuinely wants to/feels as though it’s necessary. Heck even when he’s at home chilling with his family it seems that he still prefers not to speak.

After doing some more digging I found that mutism can be divided into about 3 levels:

Elective Mutism: A person chooses not to speak as a result of psychological issues. Selective Mutism: A person wants to speak, but in certain circumstances finds that they can't. Total Mutism: A person doesn't speak under any circumstance.

Total Mutism is ruled out since as stated earlier he can speak (and apparently shout to some degree) when he feels it’s necessary. I don’t think it’s selective either since it states that the person wants to speak but can’t and it seems that Mitobe just doesn’t seem to want to. Literally according to the KNB Wiki one of his dislikes is talking 😂

So Therefore in my completely unprofessional medical opinion, I diagnose Mitobe with elective mutism.

You close your eyes and try to calm down.

You feel so nervous and anxious.

“Nice seeing you here! You still get coffee from here huh? You look good, YN.”

Your ex boyfriend points out and you feel your cheeks heat up.

You’re not sure why.

“U-Uh y’know I like specific places.” You reply, not noticing Jungkook who’s almost glaring at your ex.

“Of course, umm, who’s this?”

Kyung soo noticed however, and asks you, “o-oh yes! This is Jungkook..” you introduce your housemate awkwardly to your ex boyfriend.

“Oh- her boyfriend.” Your eyes widen and you look at Jungkook with absolute shock.

“O-Oh.”

“Yeah, nice to meet you, who are you?”

“Her ex, u-uh nevermind, YN it was nice to see you, hope you’re happy.” The other man hurries away, you stay frozen at your place.

“WHAT WAS THAT, JUNGKOOK?”

“I said I got you.” He winks, a wicked smile on his face and he shrugs.

Being your fake boyfriend was only step one into becoming your real boyfriend.

This post is to give background to all of my readers joining the journey of reading my Big Bang fic, “In the Heat of the Moment”

I hope you enjoy some of the explanations of my canon divergence, as well as my overview on Miraculous pairing, and how I’ve implemented the a/b/o dynamics into this world!

Major Canon Divergence:

This fic doesn’t take place in the canon universe.

You could think of this like me taking advantage of the multiverse theory and parking my car in it.

Some things to take note of are:

This universe(the one the fic takes place in) is damaged, there will be references to “The Rift” throughout the fic, which is a large, red, globe-like tear in between two universes who have no contact with each other aside from Hawkmoth.

In our universe(as it takes place in the fic): the miraculous have been given out to heroes and are currently in alignment with what you call “good guys”.

The villains we see in the fic are desperate attempts by Hawkmoth, of the other universe, to get his hands on the Ladybug and Cat miraculous (huh, that seems familiar).

Our heroes don’t understand that, they really only understand that there’s a bad guy, and they need to protect Paris.

Which leads into another set of rules that is hugeeeeely cannon divergent:

I’ve made all of the miraculous into pairs, like how the cat and ladybug are in canon.

Snake/Mouse

Ladybug/Cat

Peacock/Bee

Tiger/Turtle

Fox/Dog(hehe, my quirky fox & the hound reference)

Etc etc, you get the point lol.

(Plz mind that a pairing is a strong relationship, NOT inherently a sexual one)

The only Miraculous that is not in a pairing is the Bunny, and the Bunny is the team leader in this world.

A/B/O Dynamics

In this universe, we have Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. There are no other special designations!

Alphas:

-scent glands on the neck, crotch, and underarms

-have extendable canines (larger than an omega)

-natural ruts that last on average 3-5 days

-bad reputations

-has knot

-Alpha’s have an ability to subjugate denominations that fall below them in the hierarchy. This is in the form of verbal subjugation that is usually unintentional due to it being considered a taboo by most to do it.

-it is very difficult for an Alpha to force another Alpha into verbal subjugation.

-rut will make an Alpha lose a lot of coherency, where their main goal is to breed the nearest nice smelling thing they can find. Fever and general violence are side effects.

-Common slurs for Alphas are: Knot Head & Rut Chaser

Betas:

-scent glands on the neck

-relatively peaceful, this type is closest to irl humans

-considered to be better than Omegas/Alphas due to their ability to control urges

-does not have a heat/rut cycle, female Betas do have a period

Omegas:

-scent glances on the neck, lower stomach, thighs, wrists, and crotch

-have extendable canines (smaller than an Alpha)

-natural heats last on average 5-10 days

-people underestimate them due to usually timid nature

-produces slick

-makes a nest made of whatever things the Omega finds comforting. Most of the time this includes soft things & articles of clothing the Omega considers scent compatible with their pack.

-a heat consists of a preheat duration that gives warning to the actual heat. This usually lasts 24-48 hours before the Omega begins having a terrible fever-like hunger for sex. Most Omegas will take a partner for their heats, some do not. Knotting toys and other means on sating themselves are possible, but an Omega in heat will find it very difficult to be satisfied without taking a proper knot.

-common slurs for Omegas are: Knot Slut, Knot Whore, & Career Breeder.

Additional Info:

-there are heat/rut aide medications

-there are scent patches to help dampen scent

-can get pregnant: Female Omega, Female Beta, Female Alpha, Male Omega

-cannot get pregnant: Male Beta, Male Alpha

(Note: Female Alpha’s are very very hard to fertilize but in rare cases we see in some Alpha/Alpha pairings, it is possible)

(Secondary note, because someone will ask: Female Alpha & Male Omega have very similar biology in this universe. Both have anatomy reminiscent of hermaphroditic individuals. Female Alpha’s have larger cocks, while Male Omega’s have smaller cocks).

-scent is a huge thing! Everyone has their own scent profiles and no one has the same as someone else exactly. Scent profiles developed overtime as a reflection of the individual and mature fully once the character has finished puberty.

-mood affects scent! You will probably notice if a character is sad/upset, the other character will comment on scent change and this is why!

-Mating Bites!!! Mating bites can be shared by ANY denomination regardless of their born-sex. (Yes!! This includes Betas!!)

A half bond: One partner bites the other. ( A bite will bind the BITTEN person to the biter, but not the other way around)

A full bond: both parties bite each other. (Both parties are bitten, and therefor bonded)

-once bonded, the body will accept the biter as their mate, and naturally over time you will not be affected by the scent of others. Although, the scent of the person you are bonded to will affect you tenfold.
