iwish you would writ ea fic where instead of just 5 minutes on earth caspian just got to hang out indefiently as like a ghost. just ghosting yknow. alternatively one of the pevensies appearing as a ghost on earth post-last battle. i've been thinking ghoughts lately (ghost thoughts)

i skimmed this and then went to do my self-assigned reading for the day before answering properly and it stuck in my brain but slightly to the left and now i can't stop thinking about the pevensies haunting narnia even after they leave a second time. it's not ghosts, though. it's not really a haunting. it's mourning. it's that narnia remembers them, and some say if you go to the shore and put your ear to a seashell on summer nights, you can hear queen susan singing. that you'll hear hoofbeats and laughter in lantern waste when no one is there—swear you can see a flash of white fur passing. that on the wind in beruna, you can smell blood. stand in the dusty corridors beneath the how and hear the stone table cracking anew. on moonless nights the land remembers the shape of the witch's castle. laughter rings in empty chambers in cair paravel, and little girls who haven't been so little in a long time dance under willow trees in spring. sometimes king peter the magnificent walks cair paravel's halls again.

caspian thinks that last one might be his own sort of haunting, though, because it's never the king from the statues and paintings and tapestries of old. it's always the boy that he knew.

hey, i know this blog is mostly in-character, and this is an out of character question, but i've been looking through your blog and i'm very interested in all the content--I'm only wondering, if you dont mind me asking, where do you get all these facts? are they from varying sources within official/canon doctor who media, fan-created, or a mix of both?

There's several channels for that - the biology is as close to main and extended universe canon as possible, using information from everything from comics to Big Finish to Faction Paradox and anything that has been published that's got a link to the Whoniverse at all, and uses its own evidence hierarchy system to filter down and find the most reliable information. That's in turn linked with real life biology and anatomy from quality sources that's designed to make everything as true to Who as possible while also expanding it to make an entirely feasible biological system.

The language is a conlang and so fan created, but strongly uses elements of lore for influence.

The Friday facts are the same as biology in that they cover absolutely everything related to Who, but obviously without the intense medical nerding and no filtration of any facts found. 👍

bit of north of desire i constantly think about is when you say that caspian was buried with rhindon. because in my head the automatic assumption is that rhindon is passed down through caspian's line & the kings of narnia which is insane and fun to think about but thinking about it being buried with caspian is even more insane. i think i could try to describe it for hours but the end sentiment is that it's very gay, tone tag extremely emotional

that was a spur of the moment decision actually because originally i was like, well yeah it's a narnian treasure and it'll be passed down surely? but then i checked all the other books and there's not a single mention of the gifts from father christmas after dawn treader. and indeed i think only the horn and the cordial were mentioned in the book, since peter giving caspian rhindon was strictly in the films (bless the films. bless andrew adamson.) and i think the only mention we get of (potentially) rhindon after that is that all the friends of narnia have crowns and swords and whatnot in aslan's country. so i was like. i guess i can do what i want <- guy who was literally writing a canon divergent fic and could have done that already but tends to forget these things.

anyway. i'm also insane about it. caspian ur so unsubtle they buried you with his sword.

17. Are they keeping a secret together? How do they feel about that?

Well, it's sort of an open secret that Aelius and Deimos knew each other as mortals. Rumors spread, after all, and Aelius does act rather.. antsy leading up to and during the Eclipse Festival. Actually, ever since Deimos rose to power, Aelius has been more closed off and touchy about things. How this particular tidbit of info got spread around as a rumor.. either some historian found some old records and connected the dots, or more likely, a meddling deity (coughKeiroscough) started it.

As for actual secrets... well, I suppose the only two people who know where Deimos started are the two of them. Aelius' past is relatively known, him having been a landscape painter in rural Terros that was picked up for the apprenticeship by the previous Sun. It's told as a sort of.. motivational story to people, one of those frustrating unlikely ones where it's like "you too can start from nothing and become cool and powerful!" ya know? But Deimos has kept his past well hidden. He doesn't want everyone to know that he was a petty criminal struggling to get by for 90% of his life, because even though he worked hard to get where he is, the judgement for that sort of thing is.. rough. Double standards, and all. Society or something.

Decided to try my hand at artfight again this year!! Wanted to try and only do pixel art to improve my pixel arting skills. Didn't end up doing as many as i wanted but it was still lots of fun anyway!!
