feat. kazuha
synopsis: while working at a popular bakery cafe named "the cherry on top", a frequent customer catches your eye...
genre: fluff
notes: heyy!! here's a little valentines day gift for you guys <3. also, let's just pretend that your university requires uniforms LMAO. thank you for reading !
♡ the bakery has a charming exterior, with its dusty pink walls, red and white striped awnings, and fairy lights strung outside the large windows. There are some sweet flowers and silk flowers planted outside the french doors and all along the windowsills.
♡ the bakery is quite popular for its study-friendly environment and delicious products, especially the salted caramel cinnamon buns. you had made them with the chefs on one of your off days and now it's a bestseller!
♡ so, you’re chatting with your friend and taking their order, as you usually do.
“yeah, i still have a ton of homework to do.”
you glanced over the counter as more customers lined up.
“okay, you better get going.”
your friend nods and waves goodbye. you barely look up from your cash register before saying your usual “hi there! what can i get for you?”.
“hmm, what would you recommend?” says a smooth voice.
your eyes shoot up to see a guy around your age. he has white locks of hair with a red streak that’s tied back into a loose ponytail, some strands escaping and framing his face. he carryies a bookbag and still has his uniform on, and you can see that he attends the same university you go to. a small smile adorns his features.
“um..maybe the salted caramel buns? i mean, they must be popular for a reason.” you blurt.
he nods.
“sure, i’ll have one with a vanilla latte.”
you send the order off and help the next customer, but your mind cant shake the interaction.
♡ the mysterious man starts to frequently visit the cafe, nearly everyday. eventually you asked him if he’d like to make an account so that he can save money.
he laughed and replied, “i already have an account. it’s under the name, 'kaedahara kazuha'.”
“oh! had i known i would’ve put that in so you’d spend less.” you said sheepishly.
“not to worry, i’m fine with giving a few extra dollars.” he said with a shrug and a smile.
“so, the usual today?” you asked, like you do everyday.
“sure. but…would you like to join me today?”
your eyebrows raised at this pleasant surprise. you glanced at the clock behind him.
“sure, my break is in like, five minutes anyways.”
kazuha nodded. “okay, then i’ll have two cinnamon buns today.”
a smile slowly spilled onto your lips.
♡ after tossing your apron in your locker, you headed to the table where kazuha was sitting. the two of you chatted as you ate the treats he had purchased.
♡ when your break was coming to an end, kazuha handed you a small note.
“here’s my number. call me, yeah?”
he smiled and waved before exiting the cafe.
i suppose “the cherry on top” was a fitting name for where you worked, because this really was the cherry on top.

KAI SAYS: GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! birthday post im now 20 that sounds so old euugghh
Rent was hell.
Your minimum income, which was mostly spent on necessities and college fees, was barely able to pay last month. And now with inflation, you weren’t sure how you were going to make it through another year.
But, there was always hope. It was only the beginning of June after all.
Last week, your friend introduced you to a website to find roommates. Having a roommate would solve a few of my problems, you thought as you scrolled through the site on your computer. For one, the rent would be split between the two of you, which was much more manageable than right now. And, for two, you would get to actually talk to someone every day.
It would be a win-win situation if the two of you got along.
After a few days of thinking everything through, looking at different people’s profiles, because the site was a “Tinder for roommates,” as your friend had put it, you found a man that matched your preferences.
Kaedehara Kazuha.
From what you could tell by his profile, he looked like a sweet man. His profile picture was set to a white cat, and you can see his hand atop its head, gently petting against the cat’s ears. You hadn’t met him in person yet, but through text, you’d managed to get to know him a bit.
The two of you texted about your hobbies and Kauha told you about his life. He was getting a degree in poetry at a college near your house, which is why he selected the area. He told you earlier today about himself. He liked to eat fish and go drinking out. He liked staying with animals he liked warm weather and sunny days, and he liked to spend time with his loved ones and friends.
To be honest, he seemed a bit too good to be true.
But, you think, I suppose some people are just like that.
With a content sigh, you shut your computer. You’d texted Kazuha and the two of you had planned for him to move in today. It seemed a little quick to you, but Kazuha said he didn’t really have anything big to move over. According to him, he’d only be bringing one suitcase and backpack.
Yesterday, you cleaned out the guest room—well, know his room. It was tedious work, something you hoped you wouldn’t have to do again. Ever. But, you supposed it would be worth it in time.
So now here you were, sanding proudly with your hands on your hips smiling at your spotless house. Kazuha better like it here… You think. Your hand goes to run through your hair gently, combing it back. You’re about to flop down onto the couch and maybe take a nap—only for the familiar tune of the doorbell to ring through the house, echoing and bouncing off the walls.
Your head snaps backwards, a nervous smile making its way onto your lips.
You rush to the door, ignoring the slight shake in your step. Your heartbeat quickens and you don’t know why. Kazuha’s a nice man. You remind yourself, though you don’t think that’s why you're nervous.
Slowly, you unlock your door and turn the doorknob with your other hand. And there, standing to greet you is your new roommate. Kaedehara Kazuha.
You greet him with a polite smile, cracking open the door just enough to let him inside. The roll of his suitcase from the sidewalk outside up onto the flooring of your house sends a loud ‘Clunk! Clunk!’ sound and you wince a little.
You shut the door behind you, schooling your expression as you turn back to Kazuha. He trunks to you quickly and smiles gently. “Ah,” he says and his voice is so soft when he speaks, “I’m Kazuha, but I suppose you already know that.”
You introduce yourself, finishing off the same as him with a short, “but I suppose you already knew that too.”
He nods politely a small laugh flitting out of his lips. You lead him to his new bedroom, helping him carry his backpack as he lifts his suitcase, not wanting the wheels to dirty the floor. Kazuha takes a look around, his smile being ever present as you drop his backpack by the door.
“It’s nice here.” He comments, turning his gaze from you to his bedroom.
A bashful grin makes its way to your lips. “Thanks.” You murmur. “Cleaned just for you.”
With that, he’s looking back at you. “Just for me?” He responds, and there’s an edge of playfulness that lies beneath the overlaying gratefulness in his tone. “Thank you.”
You just nod, not fully trusting your voice.
After a moment, Kazuha sits down at the edge of his bed, tracing his hands over the expanse of the duvet. “We should go out sometime.” He says and you blink. You’re face feels warm and you hope Kazuha doesn’t see.
“Like…” Your voice trails off, leaving your sentence unfinished. Like a date? You wanted to say, but your lips don’t seem to work.
Kazuha seems to take note of this, chuckling softly. “Just to get to know each other better. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy.” He gives you a comforting smile and your nervousness seems to dissipate when you look at him.
“Ok.” You agree. “We can plan something for after you’ve gotten more… settled in.”
Kazuha’s smile widens and he gives you a nod. “Thanks.”
You take a deep breath, before speaking up again. “I’ll leave you to it then.” You turn on your heel before walking out of Kazuha’s new bedroom. You shut the door gently before speed-walking to your room and collapsing onto your bed.
Your breathing comes out in soft puffs as you bury your face into a pillow, curling yourself on your bed. What the fuck was that? You cry mentally. You grip onto the bedsheets tightly. Your heart is beating fast and you think it’d beat tight through your ribs if you don’t calm down soon. You bring your hands to your face, dragging them across your eyes. “I’m fucked.” You curse quietly. Kazuha’s so nice! You know you probably won’t even last a month without developing some sort of feelings for him and that scares you.
You… don’t want to ruin what little the two of you had managed to build up in the past week. As little as it was, you like what you have with Kazuha. In the back of your mind, though, there’s the nagging feeling for more. You want to get closer to Kazuha, you want to spend time with him.
Maybe that date of his wouldn’t be too bad.
With a heavy sigh, you twist your body to lay like a starfish, sprawled across your bed. You turn your gaze to your window, squinting as the sunlight fans through the glass and into your eyes. If you just ignored any feelings that developed, they would just go away, right?
The first six days with Kazuha were… different from your usual routine, to put it simply.
On Monday (because everyone knows the week starts with Monday and not Sunday!) you awoke to the smell of food wafting through the house. You were instantly up and out of bed, barely managing to throw on a shirt—backwards—before you stumbled into the kitchen.
You were taken aback by the sight that greeted you.
Kazuha, in his pyjamas and an apron, was humming a soft tune as he cooked something on the stove. He turns once he notices you, standing in shock by the doorway. “Ah,” he said, “I see you’re finally awake.” He humed, using the spatula to plate a scrambled egg. He handed you the plate and Archons it smelled good. “I made breakfast. Used some of your food, if you don’t mind.”
You absentmindedly nodded, entranced by the way he moved around the kitchen, putting things in the dishwasher, plating his food, and turning off the stove. All of those were such ordinary things, but, for some reason, it just made you more drawn to him.
You brought your plate to the table, pulled out a chair and sat down, still watching Kazuha. “Thanks for breakfast.” You murmured after a few bites. “It’s really good.”
“Well, it’s only natural I repay you somehow.” Kazuha said before sitting down beside you. “You basically lent me your house to live in.” He joked.
“Our house now.” You responded. “Since you’ll be payin’ half the rent.”
Kazuha nods, taking a bite out of his own breakfast. “I plan on spending the week organizing my stuff. Nothing big, just getting everything tidy.” The two of you sat in comfortable silence, basking in the warmth of the summer weather.
Besides that, Monday wasn’t anything eventful.
Tuesday was spent helping Kazuha. Cooped up in his room, the two of you went through his clothes and belongings, organizing them into his closet and drawers. Kazuha had a decent amount of clothes, which were the bulk of what he brought.
You talked and talked and talked with Kazuha. He was so sweet. You swore you’d told yourself that a million times by now, but it was always true. Kazuha’s laugh was soft and kind, he laughed at all your stupid, cheesy jokes, no matter how unfunny they were. He’d help you cook meals—much better than you ever could.
Tuesday was when you had come to realize that maybe you were enjoying his company a little too much. But, you thought, he’s just… fun to be around.
You used that excuse for the rest of the week.
Kazuha was just… nice. Everyone would enjoy his company like this. You were no different!
It was a pathetic excuse, but it was pathetic enough for you to cling onto.
Wednesday you and Kazuha went out and you showed him the neighbourhood as the two of you walked to the store for some groceries. Kazuha took an oddly long time looking through the fruits and vegetables section, eyeing each piece we selected carefully before placing it into the plastic bag we used to carry everything.
It was endearing.
After a good forty-five minutes of walking around the store, the two of you finally decided to head to the cashier for check out. Kazuha was polite as he made idle chatter with them, but you couldn’t help the frown that pulled at your face.
You were right there. If he wanted to talk to someone, why couldn’t it be you? You were sure you were more entertaining than that cashier worker.
But you pushed those thoughts to the back of your mind. You pulled out your credit card, expecting to pay, only for Kazuha to gently pull your hand back. “Let me.” He says gently. Your eyes dart to him and your face flushes when you feel his hand graze gently over yours as he pulls it back.
He wanted to pay for you.
Ah, if you hadn’t fallen for him yet, you sure as hell had now.
He taps his card quickly and you barely manage to make it out of the store while avoiding Kazuha’s gaze.
Things only started to set in on Thursday.
You’d woken up with a heavy migraine and a grumpy mood, so it didn’t come as a surprise that you didn’t want to talk to anyone. Unfortunately, that also included Kazuha. And yet, Kazuha didn’t push you when you refused to talk to him while the two of you ate breakfast.
“Good morning,” He had said in greeting. “How’re you?”
You don’t respond, only taking the plate of food he’d set aside for you. You’re swift to finish your food; shovelling it into your mouth and not even bothering to wait for Kazuha.
He, on the other hand, still had that oh-so-sweet smile of his plastered across his pretty lips. “I’ll take it you’re not feeling great, then.” He murmurs. Kazuha gets up from his seat beside you before handing you a glass of water. “You should drink up. Water’s very good for you, so I’m sure it’ll help you a bit.”
You do as he said, chugging the glass of water in one go. “Thanks.” You whisper. Those were the first words you said to him that day, and you could already feel your migraine easing up. Kazuha is like magic, you think, he fixes everything without even trying.
You gave Kazuha a half-hearted smile before placing your plate and utensils in the dishwasher and heading to your room to take a nap. Naps always seemed to ease your headaches.
As you collapsed on your bed, snuggling up under your heavy duvet, your thoughts drifted back to Kazuha. He was sweet, but you’d also come to the realization that he was handsome. His hair was always up into a ponytail, with that little section of red swooping on top of his ear. His eyes are quite pretty, too. You thought. A shimmering red that often matched the clothes he wore, sparkling as he laughed. And his hands, they looked so gentle as he carried things around. His fingers worked effortlessly as he wrote his poetry in that small notebook of his.
“This man,” you whispered to yourself, “is too good to be true.”
On Friday, Kazuha let you have the honour of brushing and tying up his hair.
He’d caught you staring at him as he sat on his bed, his fingers wove through his white locks. With a raised eyebrow, he beckons you over, handing you a red hair tie. “Mind helping me?” He asked softly.
You complied eagerly, scooting behind him. You ran your hand through his hair, gently scooping it behind his shoulders. Kazuha let out a soft hum, as he nodded in content. Carefully, you pull his hair into a ponytail, twisting the thin band to wrap carefully around it a few more times.
“There.” You said. “It’s done.”
Kazuha turned to face you, his knees pressed much too close to yours. “Thank you.” He grinned, grabbing your hand to rest in between his cool ones. “I really appreciate this.”
Your face flushed, an embarrassing warmth coating your cheeks. You brought your free hand to scratch awkwardly at the back of your neck before mumbling out a response. “No problem, Kazuha.”
Saturday was spent planning the two of your guys’ “date” that would be happening on Sunday.
Kazuha suggested a picnic, and you couldn’t help but agree. Maybe it was the thought of spending a day with him, or maybe it was how he wanted to spend a day with you, but you knew you would’ve agreed to anything he said.
The picnic would be on Sunday, in a park the two of you found online.
After a very successful planning session, the two of you spent the rest of the day preparing and packaging food for the picnic.
It was somewhat chaotic—but it was also fun.
Kazuha taught you how to make his favourite sandwich, how to toast the bread perfectly, and how to cut each one into little heart shapes. All with a soft smile dancing on his pretty lips as he guided your hands gently, easing the knife into the bread.
Archons, you were fucked. How’re you supposed to live with him, like this, every day?
And now, it’s Sunday; the day of the picnic.
Your foot taps nervously against the floor of your bedroom. What am I supposed to wear? Yes, you do know you’re probably overthinking this, but you can’t help it! Not when it’s because of Kazuha! You have to make sure you’re always looking your best!
Your cheeks puff out as a heavy sigh leaves your lips, eventually settling on your outfit of the day.
Finally ready, you nervously open the door, heading out to meet Kazuha in the kitchen.
He greets you with a smile and a call of your name. His arms find their way around your waist in a tight hug and you blink. Oh, oh, oh, oh—what do I do!? When did he get so… touchy?! Not that I’m complaining but—You stand frozen, yet Kazuha doesn’t seem to mind. He pulls back with his signature smile. “You’re ready to go?” He questions, taking a step towards the front door.
“Y-Yeah.” You manage to stutter out. “I’m ready.”
“Great!” He grabs your hand, leading you out of your shared home. He doesn’t let go as the two of you walk to the park. With the picnic basket in his free hand, Kazuha still grips yours gently as he leads you. His thumb runs over the skin of your hand absentmindedly. You think it’s supposed to be a calming gesture, but, it only makes your heart beat faster and your face go warm.
You eventually find yourself in a large field, small flowers adorning the grass. Kazuha tugs a blanket out of his bag, laying it over the grass. He plops down on it, patting the space beside him as he does. “Sit with me.” He says.
You comply quickly, placing your own basket down and taking a spot beside him. “...Thanks for doing this with me.” You murmur, giving Kazuha a shy glance.
He only grins in response, digging through his bag and handing you one of the sandwiches you prepared yesterday. “It’s nothing, really.” He smiles, and you feel a tingle go through your hand where his finger brushes over yours. “I like spending time with you.”
“I like spending time with you too.” You match his expression, your lips pulling into a smile. It hasn’t even been a week, and yet it feels like you’ve known Kazuha for years.
Kazuha grins, reaching into his bag. “Good.” is all he responds before pulling something out. Is that a wine bottle? “Now, would you like a drink?”
You… never took Kazuha as a drinker.
And yet, here he is, drunk out of his mind as slurs slip from his lips. Kazuha calls out your name, his head slipping onto your shoulder as his hands grip the blanket the two of you are sitting on. “Do you…” He trails off. “Do youuu… wanna watch th-the sunset w’me?” He slurs his eyes fixing on yours from his position on your shoulder.
You cough awkwardly. “Kazuha.” You say softly, easing his head off your shoulder. “It’s four-thirty in the afternoon. The sunsets not coming out anytime soon…”
“B-But—” He whines. “It woulda been soooo romantic.” Kazuha grins, his eyes lolling shut as he slumps against your chest this time. “Jus’ you, me, an’ the flowers.”
“Oh, Kazuha.” You sigh. “I’d love to watch the sunset with you, but we have to get you home before dark. It’d be dangerous walking out drunk at night.”
“No!” He cries. “I could… could protect you… from th’danger.”
“Nope.” You say, trying not to let his words affect you. “We’re going home now, okay?”
“Okayyyy.” He whines, dragging out the word as he says it. “But only—only cause you said so.”
“Good.” You wrap an arm around Kazuha, right under his shoulder as you help him stand. You leave him for a bit, turning around to pick up the blanket and his bag. “Kazuha!” You call, and he’s instantly behind you. His arms wrap around your waist, pushing his face into your neck.
“Hm?” He coos. “D’ya need something?”
The warmth of Kazuha’s breath fans over the skin of your neck, goosebumps rising lowly. “N-Need you to carry your stuff.” You mumble. Your hands remove Kazuha’s from your waist, shifting to grab his wrist as you gently drag him off you. “Let’s go home now.”
Carefully, you take Kazuha home, not really minding his drunk ramblings. He goes on and on about the sunset, about how he’d stare into your eyes and giggle while he holds your hand and the sun sets.
It is endearing seeing him drunk out of his mind and yet still so lovey-dovey.
It only takes the two of you a fifteen-minute walk to reach your home and you’re quick to open the door and let Kazuha in, the two of you dropping your stuff as you help him up the stairs, your arm wrapped snugly around his waist. He slurs your name again, his pretty red eyes meeting yours. “C-Can we cuddle…?” He whines and you instantly turn your head, wanting to hide the warmth on your cheeks.
“I…” You whisper. “You’re drunk. Let’s just get you in bed first.”
“Noo!” Kazuha cries, planting his feet on the ground, stopping you. “Y’always make me wait! Made me wait for our date, now you're still makin’ me wait when I jus’ want cuddles!”
“Kazuha, really, maybe we should—” You try to protest, only to be interrupted.
“Please,” Kazuha whines pitifully, “Jus’ for a bit.”
You pinch the bridge of your nose, letting out a deep exhale. “You’re still drunk,” you start, “but fine. I guess some cuddles won’t hurt.”
Kazuha grins happily, snaking his arms around you, just under your arms as he lifts you into the air. “You’re th’best!” He slurs. “Come, cuddles time.” With that, he’s lifting you up and carrying you over into his bedroom.
He tosses you gently onto the bed and you land with a quiet: “Oof!” Before you feel the bed dip as Kazuha joins you. His arms find their familiar place around you and his nore presses into the back of your head as he twists your body into a spooning position with his. One of Kazuha’s legs is haphazardly thrown over yours, and you feel completely engulfed in, well, Kazuha.
“You’re so handsome.” Kazuha whispers into your hair. “My handsome boy.” He presses a kiss to the back of your head, and you have to remind yourself that Kazuha is drunk. He won’t remember any of this, nor will he ever act like this again.
Still, you end up leaning into the touch, falling asleep slowly, basking in Kazuha’s comforting warmth and love.
When you wake up, Kazuha’s body is tangled with yours. His head is on your chest and his arms are wound tightly around your waist. One of his legs is positioned between yours, his knee pressing against you.
You tug him closer, enjoying the warmth of his body against yours. Kazuha’s head dips between your shoulder and your neck, nuzzling into the spot. You can feel the small puffs of air his lips let out against your skin as he breathes, matching the pattern of your heartbeat as he does.
You grin, pulling yourself to sit up—only to be yanked completely down by Kazuha. “Don’ move, please.” He whispers. “Need t’feel ya.”
“Kazuha.” You complain. “You’re not even drunk anymore—”
“No.” Kazuha murmurs. “Need to feel you.” As the words leave his lips, he shifts his body, pressing his hips flush against your ass.
Something firm pokes into you from behind and—
Oh.
That’s what he meant by feel you.
Kazuha’s hips start a steady grind against you, pushing his erection into your ass as he murmurs breathless nothings into your ear. A desperate whine slips from his lips as he slowly moves his hands from around you to on you, roaming your chest and up your neck.
“Need you.” Kauzha murmurs slowly. “Need you so bad.”
“I know.” You say, turning onto your side to face Kazuha.
He smiles at you, bringing a hand to cup your cheek. “Please let me have you.” He whines.
You smile, leaning into his touch and pressing a soft kiss to his nose. “Of course, you can have me. I’ve been all yours from the start.”
Kazuha’s lips press against yours as he gently pushes you to lie on your back against the bed. His hands trace your sides, going from your neck to your hips as he pulls your pants down. He releases you from his kiss, the both of you gasping for air as he yanks down your boxers with impressive speed.
A soft whine slips from your throat, needily grinding your hips into the air. “Kazuha…” You moan, needing his touch desperatley. “C-Can you just—”
“I know.” He coos, trailing his hand to your hard cock. “I know, pretty boy, but I jus’ wanna take my time with you, ‘kay?”
You hesitantly nod, bringing your hand to thread through Kazuha’s hair as he peppers an assortment of kisses all over your cheeks. His hand starts a slow rhythm, gliding up and down the shaft of your cock slowly.
His grip is teasing, the way he squeezes up as he reaches your tip, dragging the pad of his thumb down your dick as he does. Kazuha’s fist moves quicker, watching as your eyes scrunch up in pure ecstasy from his ministrations. “That’s it.” He murmurs encouragingly. “C’mon, I know you’re close…”
A gasp leaves your lips as Kazuha drags his thumb over your slit, rolling it and smearing your precum everywhere, watching with nothing but a pleased smile as your hips frantically twitch in his hold. He smiles, pressing a kiss to your neck—right bellow your ear before giving the spot a teasing lick.
Kazuha’s hands work at your dick again and again, sliding with a steady rhythm up and down until your brain feels muddled and hazy. You grip at his wrist, not knowing if you want him to stop or keep going.
“K-Kazuha,” you whine, “please.”
A soft laugh leaves his lips and he once again kisses your neck. “Shh.” He murmurs. “Be patient, my dear.” With that, he’s pressing a harsh bite into your supple skin, letting his teeth graze over before digging them into you. A loud moan slips from your lips, your dick twitching over and over until your eyes are squeezing shut and thick ropes of milky white shoot from your tip all over your tummy and Kazuha’s hand.
“O-Oh.” You manage to squeak out. “You’re good at this.”
Kazuha smiles, helping the both of you sit up—with you in between his knees with his erection still pressed into the curve of your ass. He rolls you over, bringing your hips ontop of his as he pulls his leaking cock out of his pants, watching intently as you practically drool at the sight.
“Ride me, please.” Kazuha whispers, his desperation clear in his tone. You wrap a hand around his dick, rolling the pad of your thumb against his tip before lifting your hips. You line him up quickly, feeling the head of his cock push against your hole. Your mouth drops open, a low whine leaving your lips.
Slowly, slowly, very slowly, you sink down on his cock, taking him all the way in. You’re about halfway in—from what little you can tell—when Kazuha grabs your hips. His eyes are teary, staring into yours as he grabs the fat of your ass, and pulls you down.
A loud moan slips freely from your lips and you collapse onto Kazuha, the both of you panting heavily.
“A-Archons.” He whispers, his fingers rubbing smooth circles over your hips. “You’re so tight, angel.”
Angel.
He called you angel.
You bury your face into Kazuha’s neck, taking in his scent as you breathe. “Kazu…” You whine. “Need you so bad.”
“I know, pretty.” He whispers. His grip on your hips tightens as you lift your head off him and look into his eyes. His deep, red eyes. “C’mon. I’ll help you, ‘kay?” He smiles, pressing a kiss to the corner of your lips before leading you to sit up above him. His finger taps against your waist before he starts. “Lift your hips f’me.” Kazuha instructs and you comply quickly, lifting your hips before dropping back down.
As soon as you drop down, Kazuha’s tip knocks against your prostate harshly and you cry out, your hands barely managing to find purchase against his shoulders. “Good boy.” Kazuha whispers sweetly, running his hands over your chest. “Jus’ like that…” He murmurs. “Think you can keep going?” You nod eagerly, lifting your hips again only to drop down.
Your thighs shake but you don’t care! Not when it feels so good to be bouncing on Kazuha’s dick like this. Not when he hits all those good spots that make you see stars as your eyes roll back.
“Kazuha.” You moan out, rocking your hips tirelessly up and down his dig. You can feel the drag against every vein against your walls, the way he nudges just right against your prostate. Your eyes roll back as your dick twitches against your tummy, drooling pre uselessly as you ride Kazuha up and down, over and over again.
“T-That’s it, pretty.” He whispers. Kazuha’s hands come to grip your ass again, picking up the pace for you as he starts to buck his hips up and into your awaiting hole. “I—holy shit—I’m close.” He whimpers, and you swear there’ll be bruises from how tight he grips your waist. “Need to cum—” He whines, his eyes squeezing shut.
You nod your head eagerly your ass squeezing so tightly around him as he picks up the pace, fucking into you harder. You need to feel him, feel him shoot his load into you. You need it, need Kazuha, need every part of him.
Every time he thrusts, you feel yourself get closer and closer to that sweet release the both of you seek. “Kazu…” You moan out. “Close, close—need you t’k-keep goin’”
“I know.” He whimpers. “I know, ‘m not stopping.” Your eyes rolled back, the familiar warmth building in the pit of your tummy. The way Kazuha’s hands trailed over your thighs—everything he did was begging your body to surrender to the familiar pleasure.
“A-At the same time.” You plead, gripping onto Kazuha’s arm. He only nod, his eyes squeezing shut.
You clench around him and Kazuha throws his head back against the pillows as he buries his dick into you, his hips meeting yours in one final, harsh thrust. He pulls your body close, his arms wrapping tightly around you as he whispers sweet nothings into you.
You feel him cum, a thick load going right into you. You whine, tightening so sweetly around him as your own orgasm hit. “H-Holy…” You whimper, not hvaing the energy to finish your sentence. Your dick twitches between the two of you and you cum. Hard.
Kazuha’s grip around you tightens as he doesn’t even bother to pull out. He grabs the blanket, bringing it over the two of you as he nuzzles your face into his neck, your body still twitching.
Archons. You think, watching Kazuha’s eyes close gently. The sunlight falls onto his face, like a golden halo around his perfect features. How long has it been with him? A week?
Only a week, and you’d managed to fall in love.

Yandere promts day 1
1.“I’ve always been watching you, beloved”
Featuring: Kaedehara Kazuha
A/N:And so we are back to yandere promts
TW:Stalking
You were not scared of Kazuha you were just deeply unsettled by the way he would stare at you whenever you were near him. Kazuha seemed like a nice person but you just couldn't get behind the way he would blush and smile and stare an unblinking stare. Directed right at you.
This was not the only time you had someone watching you of course this one was just a mere hunch. You had felt someone watching you ever since you met Kazuha especially in the night. It got so bad that you couldn't sleep and had to lie in your bed until you passed out.
This of course made Kazuha deeply worried. You, his beloved , his life , his darling had to that because of the paranioa that someone was stalking you. He was even entertaing the thought of just flat out telling you that he was the one who was watching you. I mean it was for your saftey so you wouldn't mind right? Well you probably would. So he had to find a way to fix this as soon as possible.
This was your exact thought as well. To bad you were to first one to find a soloution first.
It was another night and this time you decided to keep the window open to lure in your stalker. And hell yeah did it work. You see Kazuha got worried when he saw that your window was wide open so he was just going to close it. But he saw an opportunity and took it he needed to find the reason of your insomnia and fix it so this was his best shot.
So he walked right up to your 'sleeping' form to see what was wrong but when you opened your eyes at sound of footsteps and saw Kazuha. So you said something
"So you're the one who's been watching me?" “I’ve always been watching you, beloved.” He laughed
"Now tell me why you're not sleeping."
You were not scared of Kazuha, you were horrified of what he was capable of doing to you . And definintly something bad was going to happen if you said or did the wrong thing.

Kazuha
Kazuha Headcanons - (Male Reader)
June 14, Post 10 of the "30 Days Fanfic Event"
Kazuha makes tons of romantic poems and haikus for you everyday.
Even the Crux is getting sick of hearing Kazuha murmur words of praise and adoration while blushing all the time.
Whenever he looks at you, he somehow always instantly gets a new idea on a haiku, and starts forming sentences of love.
When outside or away from you, he brings trinkets and whatever he finds has splendid beauty back to you as a gift.
Some gifts that he has given you are flowers, maple leaves, a scarf, accessories, jewelry, and more.
I think that he’d definitely be into watching the sunset with you side by side, holding hands.
Once, when you both had to be apart because of a mission you had for a month. During the time that you were separated, he sent letters each day that smelled of the forest or dew on blades of grass. (i dont really know lol)
Creating a tune from a leaf to entertain you, he hums a melody that he hopes is to your liking.
You sit across from him on the grass, and his eyes opening carefully, analyzing your expression.
Kazuha’s heart flutters, and shyly smiles, light pink dusting his cheeks as he hears your approval.

Not My Vision To Take
++============++
Genshin Impact one-shot
{kaedahara kazuha x tall!fem!reader}
Additional notes:
V/t = vision type
G/n = god name
++
Y/n felt at peace as she felt the sea breeze on Beiduo's ship. It was late at night as Y/n stood on the top deck of the ship, staring out into the ocean. Y/n hasn't really relaxed like this since she joined Aether on his journey to find his sister and it has been taking its toll on her. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath and relaxing by folding her arms and laying her head down. The air smelled like sea water, she felt the wind wipe back her hair, she felt calm.
"Relaxing, isn't it." A voice startled Y/n as her eyes shot open and sitting up and looking to her left side.
"Kazuha! Gods, you scared me." Y/n exclaimed seeing said male beside her.
"Apologies, I didn't mean to frighten you." Kazuha said red eyes saddened.
"It's okay. I guess I was just a bit... relaxed and I was caught off guard." Y/n mumbled.
"I see. You seemed to be deep in thought as well." Kazuha said.
"Oh! I was. I mean I was just thinking about how long it's been since I traveled on a ship." Y/n said.
"I'm guessing back in your world?" Kazuha asked.
"Yeah," Y/n smiled nodding. "I was also thinking about what it's going to be like when we get to Inazuma." Y/n said.
"Not good. So be wary." Kazuha said.
Y/n looked at Kazuha's face, he seemed worried for her safety since Inazuma was on lockdown and the Vision Hunt Decree was in full affect. Even before Kazuha fled Inazuma.
Y/n smiled, place a hand on Kazuha's shoulder. "Don't worry, Kazuha. I'll be just fine. Besides I can protect myself and I'll have Aether by my side." She said.
Kazuha smiled as he saw he was worried over nothing. "I suppose you're right. Apologies for worrying." He said.
"Eh," Y/n shrugged her shoulders. "It's fine both my friends from Mondstadt and Liyue worry too much about me already so I'm used to it." Y/n said.
Kazuha chuckled. "Y/n, you are quite the character. I'm lucky to have met you." He said.
"Same to you, you're a very interesting person." Y/n chuckled.
A silence between the two was accompanied by the sound of the ship cutting through the water.
"The sound of the water is calming, isn't it." Y/n said to Kazuha.
"It truly is." Kazuha replied back.
"Hey, Kazuha?" Y/n asked.
"Yes, what is it?" He answered.
"I was wondering if you think you will ever return to Inazuma. I mean you are a fugitive, right. But, you ran because of the Vision Hunt Decree after your friend was killed by Raiden Shogun." Y/n questioned.
"I want to return to Inazuma, just... not right now." Kazuha said.
"I see," Y/n sighed out but her eyes flashed a bit of anger. "The Vision Hunt Decree makes me sick. You can't take people's visions just because of your ideals."
Kazuha smiled. "Would you do anything to make it non-existent?" He asked.
"Of course!" Y/n exclaimed. "Anyways, about your friend. What kind of vision did he have?" Y/n asked.
She was a bit curious. I mean everyone would be since he still had his friend's vision in his possession.
"It was an Electro Vision." Kazuha said.
"Ugh, that makes it worse! She killed a person she blessed with an Electro Vision! How dare! That's like killing your own child." Y/n said.
"That's a bit of an exaggeration." Kazuha said.
"Maybe." Y/n mumbled.
"Y/n, you don't have vision do you?" Kazuha asked.
Y/n sighed. "Sadly no." She said.
"Well, what vision do you think you'd get. I mean if you don't mind me asking." Kazuha said.
"Oh!" Y/n exclaimed as she smiled her eyes shimmered with excitement as she continued. "I'll have a v/t!"
Kazuha tilted his head a bit. "Surprising, how come?" He asked.
"How come? Don't you think it matches my soul!" Y/n exclaimed.
Kazuha laughed at her, he wasn't really expecting that answer. And oddly he agreed with her. She really has the personality of person to have a V/t.
"Quit with the laughing! I meant what I said." Y/n said punching his shoulder gently.
"Apologies, I just wasn't expecting that answer. But to be honest, it's just like you." Kazuha said.
Y/n flushed pink. "Yeah, whatever."
"But you know on this journey I'm taking with Aether, I'll probably get to meet the G/n. Which excites me a little but, eh I've met Gods in my spare time anyway." Y/n said shrugging her shoulders.
Y/n shifted her gaze to Kazuha's back, spotted his vision, just chilling. She smiled seeing that it was an Ameno vision.
"I see you've been blessed by the Ameno God, Barbatos." Y/n said with a smile.
"Yes. You said you've met this said God," Kazuha said as she smiled at her. "What's Barbatos like?" He asked.
Y/n chuckled. "You're kidding right. Okay, you've been warned. He's short and he's a drunk. Doesn't take anything seriously and yet he's very talented on the lyre." Y/n said thinking about Venti also know as Barbatos.
Kazuha chuckled. "How interesting. He sounds like quite the character." Kazuha said.
"Ha, yeah right. He's a pain in my ass." Y/n said. 'Lazy Bard.' Y/n thought.
Kazuha smiled when he took out his friend's vision, he frowned when looking at it then his eyes widened then looked at Y/n.
"Hey, Kazuha. You said you going to try and figure out how to rekindle your friend's vision, yeah?" Y/n asked him.
"Yes, at least that's what I planned anyway." Kazuha said.
"You figure that out, that would be amazing." Y/n said with a smile as she looked back at the ocean.
"Y/n, can I ask you a favor?" Kazuha asked her.
"Yeah, sure, what is it?" Y/n answered.
"Take this with you," Kazuha said hold out his friend's vision to her. "Maybe you'll be able to rekindle it." He said.
"Kazuha... it's tempting but I can't. It's not my vision to take." Y/n said.
"Please take it with you, see if it will rekindle if you were in a trouble or under pressure." Kazuha said desperately.
"I can't. I'm sorry, but I'm determined to get my own vision. I want to get one just like how other people I know got it. Like my friend, Razor. He's someone I met from Mondstadt, he told me bits and pieces of how he got his vision but he doesn't like to talk about it all that much. He told me it's one of the few memories he'd like to forget. I never asked why so I don't know why." Y/n explained.
"I see. I understand, I'll respect your wishes." Kazuha said.
Y/n leaned onto him being taller than the shorter male. Her cheek resting on top of his head.
"I'm sorry I can't help you, Kazuha. But I want to get my vision my way and to be fair, it doesn't feel right to me to have your friend's vision even if you gave me permission." Y/n said.
Kazuha felt the heat on his cheeks from the embrace from Y/n. Y/n let go of him but stayed close to his side.
"When I'm in Inazuma, I'll keep you in mind, Kazuha. I hope to see you again after this." Y/n said with a smile.
Kazuha's face flushed, it being very visible on his pale features.
"As to you, Y/n." Kazuha smiled softly at her, his eyes half-lid at he looked her.

Imagine Kazuha teasing you by pretending to kiss you! Like he’ll lean in and act as if he was gonna kiss you, but when you expect a soft peck on your lips he just pulls away.
So to get back at him, you do the same. Each time you do it he lets out a dissatisfied sound and pouts before smirking.
When you do it once again he’ll just grab you by the waist and pulls you on top of him so that he can give you a big ol smooch lmao
I wuv him :,(

Love Game 2: The Ring and the Kimono
An adamant outlander who is desperate to escape, a stubborn leader who's polite yet intimidating behind his facade smile, and an innocent wanderer being shooed away. Both try to find their ways for the other to give in using tactical methods whereas the other has to follow Ayato's orders without objection.

looks like this is a mini-series now. thanks r/genshin_memepact for sparking another inspiration for this crack fic
“Traveler, did you bring the item I asked you to get?”
Ayato called out to the said outlander who was in his own world distracted by all the things running in his head. Aether glanced down at his palm folded on his lap and bit down his lip.
He knows what he’s referring to and is it really safe to show the jewelry right in front of you? You might misunderstand what is going on and that’s the last thing he wanted before things get worse between the Kamisato clan and him.
His uneasiness didn’t go unnoticed by Ayato.
“I-I haven’t,” Aether muttered under his breath and showed an apologetic smile to your brother. “There was a bit of a problem when I went to Eippekusu.”
“That’s a lie.”
That was what Ayato could have said to him if not for this idea that came to him. It’s obvious Aether has the ring with him just by his constant shifting in his seat as an attempt to hide the ring box that was slipping out of his unique outfit.
“I see. That’s a shame…” The eldest of the Kamisato siblings sighed and shifted his gray optics to Kazuha who was sipping his warm cup of tea you have prepared.
“Kaedahara,” your brother’s calm voice brought him out of his relaxation of drinking the jasmine tea. Whatever could that be in his tone, Kazuha was prepared for what words shall come out from his critical lips.
Gently setting down the yunomi cup, he showed a soft smile to Ayato and sat properly to show his respect. “Yes?”
“Have you by any chance know Miss Ogura Mio? The owner of the Ogura Textiles and Kimonos.”
Kazuha was slightly perplexed by where this conversation was going but nonetheless nodded his head. “Indeed I have. Do you need to talk to her?”
“I have asked her to tailor three kimonos for the upcoming festival that will be held in Inazuma City. I would have ordered Thoma to check on it, however he’s currently not here.”
An errand huh?
“Would it be alright with you to check the kimonos if you don’t mind?” Ayato smiled. Though that smile may seem so gentle and polite to others, but for Aether and Kazuha, they know what’s behind that.
A malicious and cunning way to remind them they cannot deny his authorization.
“Of course.” Reluctantly agreed the ronin. “May I inquire about the details of these kimonos?”
The Yashiro Leader’s smile widened.
Maybe Kazuha shouldn’t have said that.
Ayato placed his elbows on top of the chabudai and rested his chin on his knuckles.
“I’m glad you asked, Kaedehara. Be sure to remember all these details with perfection as I won’t be repeating myself.”
Despite how much Ayato tries to terrorize the anemo-vision wielder, he still remained calm in which Aether was in awe at how can he be so composed and unaffected by your brother’s threatening presence.
“The first kimono is designed for males. This is kuromontsuki haori hakama. Further explanations of this outfit are not needed, I presume you should know what this is, right Kaedehara?”
The young man in question nodded and watched him in anticipation of what came next. “It is made of solid and smooth fabric, in addition to having our family crest engraved on it.”
Ayato took a long sip of his tea, the sweet and bitter taste of the liquid that complimented together refined his aftertaste. He gently placed down the cup with a sigh and opened his eyes to look at Kazuha.
Parting his lips open, he elucidated his second order:
“The second kimono is intended for [Name] with its stunning and eye-catching red silk-lined hem and three layers of white, purple, and peach that shows a beautiful water scene from Liyue’s novel, Tales From the Waves. Do note this kimono is accompanied by an uchikake with long sleeves and a padded hem. This has the Kamisato crest adorn each shoulder and back on the top third kimono.”
Ayato took a deep breath before continuing.
“Lastly, the third kimono’s design involves crane patterns and snow-covered pine trees on the fabric. Combined with the finest golden satin for the obi, this outfit is as dignified, calm, and beautiful as Ayaka herself.”
Aether’s mouth was wide open by all the extraneous details explicated by Ayato. He directed his gaze back to Kazuha who was silent and unmoving as he still tries to process and keep a record of the details he can hold and try to remember.
Can Kazuha really do this? Will he be able to pull it off without messing it up once he brings these outfits back here?!
“Ah, I have gone overboard with details but it’s crucial as some may have identical orders and we don’t want you getting the incorrect design.” Ayato chuckled to himself before taking another sip of his own tea.
Both Aether and Kazuha were not amused by his antics and how can he enjoy this so much?!
The door to the terrace slid open to reveal you standing by the door frame carrying a tray with traditional sweets and appetizers.
“I shall take my leave now.” Kazuha stood up and cleaned off his clothes to get rid of the small particles of the sweets he ate and the wrinkles on his pants.
“Eh? Kazuha, where are you going?” You put down the tray on the table before following him to the exit.
“[Name], he has an errand to take.” Your brother disseminated whilst taking a small mochi into his mouth to chew.
“I can go with him—“
“You must stay. You still have your calligraphy lessons with Akatsuka-sensei.”
“But—“
“No, buts. I will not accommodate any excuses you have.”
You frowned and glared down at the wooden floor. Even though you hate how he always keeps you inside, skipping another lesson will bring you to nowhere and you really need to become more responsible knowing you will take his position one day.
Your brother sighed and crossed his arms over his chest. He signed the doushins to assist Kazuha to the main gate of the Kamisato household to take his leave before looking back at you who was still evidently upset at him.
Aether, on the other hand, was at the corner sitting in silence, trying hard not to afflict or draw attention in their silent treatment.
“[Name] I know you’re angry but please understand that there are much more important assignments you have to do other than playing sword with your friend.”
“We’re not playing! He’s teaching me, aniki.”
Archons, this is so awkward for Aether. He wished he could take his leave now and go back to Adventurer’s Guild to take another commission.
“I suppose the traveler may teach you. He is also skilled with the art of blade and swordsmanship.”
Yeah, maybe accepting a commission where he’ll train will earn him a lot of profit—
“What?!”
Both of you exclaimed in surprise by another one of Ayato’s eccentric suggestions he has on his mind.
“I-I’m not sure about this, brother… I mean I’m not saying Aether’s bad at it or anything like that!” You immediately clear yourself before the traveler gets any incorrect ideas by your words.
“Aether has other priorities and I’m sure he’s busy looking for his sister.”
Objecting to your brother’s ideas is not something you usually do, but this is different. And just by his reactions, he also agrees with you with that eager nod he kept on doing.
“Lord Ayato, I am honored you’ve chosen me to be your sister’s mentor however I—“
“Oh my, look at the time. [Name], it’s time for your calligraphy lesson.”
Ayato ushered you to go back inside by pushing your small body to the door and shutting it in an instant once you have taken a step in.
Aether flinched at the loud slam and looked at the wooden frame, your silhouette showing on the other side and another foreign shadow who approached you. He can hear their muffled talking and shuffling noises but he can’t fully comprehend what they were saying. Not that he needed to.
He could’ve used that chance to escape when Ayato had opened the shoji, why didn’t he think of that?
The Yashiro Commissioner clapped his hand and sauntered back to the table, putting his unreadable and polite smile yet again.
“Traveler, if you don’t teach [Name] I will build a mountain on top of your corpse.”
The gentle yet eerie threat was enough to induce him to cower back in fear when his voice had gone to a lower timbre. The blonde raised his guards when he moved closer to where he is and shielded himself before the man could do anything to him.
He waited, and waited, but none came. Aether peered under his arms only to catch the sight of the albino pouring him a tea on his empty cup.
“I almost forgot, you don’t have the ring with you yet, yes?”
Is he really going back to this topic again?! Fate is really treating him bad today and he was desperately hoping he’d forget about all this marriage discussion already!
“Hm…”
Yet another lie.
Good grief, this boy just won’t admit it.
Ayato grumbled to himself. Truth to be told, Ayato is also having difficulty in persuading this outlander. If only there’s someone who can help him with this plan…
“My Lady, regarding the plans for the upcoming festival, do you wish to send a note to your brother for all the materials needed to be delivered?”
Speak of the devil.
“Please do, Thoma. I’d really appreciate it.”
He turned his head to the wooden sliding door and ordered one of the doushins near it to open, uncovering none other than the Shirasagi Himegimi herself and the Kamisato Clan’s housekeeper.
“We’re back!”
Oh, and not to mention the traveler’s flying pet.
“Oh my, everyone’s already here.”
Ayato mused and waved to the three. Ayaka and Thoma bowed their heads to him as a greeting whereas Paimon excitedly waved.
At a slow pace, Ayaka lifted her chin but not before her silver optics spotted the long and golden braid until golden-yellow eyes collided with her silver ones.
“Aether?”
If only he had the powers to revert time, he could do so to stop himself from enmeshing in this complicated situation.
-: ✧ :-
Ogura Textiles and Kimonos... I’m sure it’s right on this street if I’m not mistaken.
Kazuha walked along the busy streets of Inazuma City looking for the retail business shop. From left and right, all he can find were the incessant screams of vendors to eat at their shop or the discount of sake being sold.
For a second thought, the latter option is such a good deal to not deny it.
Too bad he doesn’t have enough mora to buy himself a bottle and invite you for a drink.
There’s always a next time…
Sighing in disappointment he continued his search for the kimono tailoring. With each step he takes, he finally had a good sight of the pink mop rearranging and cleaning her boutique.
There they are. The silks, the gems of fashion of Inazuma, the expressions of the patterns cast on the fabric to show the passion of the couturier. Kazuha wandered between them, taking in the qualities of each, letting his mind drift as perhaps the makers did.
To him, each one of them was a work of art and perhaps a window to another era and the way history has written itself through the artful conception that related to the God of Eternity and nature.
“Miss Ogura?”
The woman ceased her cleaning and turned her head. Regarding the guest, she smiled and focused all of her attention on him.
“Welcome to Ogura Textiles and Kimonos, dear customer! May I assist you?”
“I’m here to collect Lord Ayato’s commission of three kimonos.”
Kazuha doesn’t need to give her the full details of what the Yashiro Head had told him. It’s simple, he just asks Miss Ogura for the kimonos, takes it, brings it back to the Kamisato residence then it’s done.
“Um… May I ask which one?”
Or perhaps not.
Ayato sure is becoming fanatical with his orders.
The ronin blinked owlishly and placed a hand on his hips.
Is this another one of his schemes for him to be troubled? Or does she genuinely don’t know what he’s talking about?
“Ah, I have gone overboard with details but it’s crucial as some may have identical orders and we don’t want you getting the incorrect design.” Ayato chuckled to himself before taking another sip of his own tea.
What a surprise Ayato was really being honest about this kimono commission he had tasked him with.
Fortunately, half of what Ayato had said was still clear in his head.
“Kuromontsuki haori hakama,”
That was the first one. As for the second… what was it again? Something about snow and Ayaka.
“The kimono with crane patterns,”
And the last item was designed for [Name]. A line formed between his brows, attempting to search back to his memories about all the descriptions.
“If I’m not mistaken the other kimono was inspired from Tales From the Waves.”
Ogura’s eyes lit up and ambled back to her booth, going through all the folded kimonos on the shelves and placing each ordered design in front of him whilst continuing to search for the final item.
She neatly sorted each attire and allowed him to take a good look at each design. Indeed, all the fabrics used were of high quality that came from the silks of Silk Flower that can only be found in Liyue.
The patterns were intricate yet had the sense of elegance of simplicity. He could marvel at these and praise the tailor, perhaps even create a haiku out of these. But he noticed there was a missing piece for your outfit for it to be completed.
“Ah, my apologies. Lady [Name]’s kimono is yet to be finished… there’s one difficult problem while I was tailoring this.”
Kazuha lifted an eyebrow. Ogura sighed heavily and rubbed her arm.
“We ran out of silk and the International Trade Association also has their own difficulties importing high-grade fabrics, so much of our tailoring business has been put on hold indefinitely.” A frown was displayed on her face and he could sense the dismay and tribulation in her.
“But if our customer is able to provide the fabric themselves, we can still be of service.”
That’s a pretty valid reason knowing Inazuma is still under a strict lockdown because of the Sakoku Decree.
“I understand. I’ll tell Lord Ayato about this matter.”
The woman nodded in thanks and took the kimono.
“There must be an important occasion in the Kamisato Clan since all these kimonos were designed for a formal occasion.” Ogura giggled to herself and neatly folded the obi and haori, gently tucking it in the casing.
While the woman was talking, Kazuha was in his own little world admiring the exhilarating designs displayed in this boutique. It’s no wonder why Ayato had chosen this tailor shop to provide for their own tailoring needs.
A glass kimono
Sculpted like a bow, what else
Can you see right through?
That’s a wonderful haiku he had made right there. He can add more to it, perhaps adding the quality of the obi— or maybe the sleeve— and its design that mirrors both the master and the model.
“Especially for the uchikake. It’s so exciting to know one of the Kamisato sisters will be married!”
A threaded sleeve flowed
The tale of the wed is ice
Burrowed—
“Pardon?” The ronin blinked in confusion, snapping out of his haiku making from Ogura’s gossips.
“Oh, it’s nothing! I’m just daydreaming as always when I’ve seen Lord Ayato’s design for Lady [Name]’s kimono.”
A dreamy sigh slipped from her and handed him a carefully wrapped package with a small bow adorned on it to finish.
Kazuha could not be more at a loss for words if he’d paid more attention to all the obvious details insinuated at him by your brother.

“Aether?”
Truly this was a shocking coincidence to discover the outlander was in Ayaka’s abode without her knowledge.
“Thoma, lead Ayaka to her room and prepare dinner. I shall handle this matter with her later on after my discussion with the traveler.”
The housekeeper nodded, becoming aware that there’s a significant assignment between them if Aether’s presence was requested by the head of the Kamisato Clan. Thoma stepped aside to let the princess advance inside first before him and left them in silence.
It was only Paimon who remained at the terrace who bid them a muted goodbye before drifting over to where her companion was.
Ayato’s eyes were fixed on the pixie and smiled in admiration of how close she and the outlander were.
“Paimon, perfect timing. I have a question for you.”
The fairy hummed and tilted her small head to the side whilst placing a finger under her chin.
“What is it Master Ayato?”
The sudden paleness and stiffness of Aether never went unnoticed from the keen eyes of the Leader of the Yashiro Commission.
“Were you and your friend able to retrieve the ring in Ritou?”
Paimon’s dark purple eyes sparkled enthusiastically and jumped to where Aether’s bag was lying to rummage through his flooded items. The blonde’s jaw dropped and tugged Paimon by her leg to stop digging and searching for the jewelry.
But knowing how stubborn she is and infatuated she was with the rewards they’ll receive, she kicked his face. Brutally.
“Yep yep! We have it in one piece!”
Her voice was muffled at the time that her small body fell deeper into the backpack until she could find the small box. However, said item wasn’t in there much to her shock and frustration.
For sure they have it that Paimon even kept it safely underneath in one of the secret zippers! Her body rolled down onto the floor and hastily struggled free from the suffocating container and glared at Aether.
“Hey! Where’d it go?!”
The outlander shrugged his shoulders and sat in a relaxed manner by folding his arms and leaning against the small table.
“As I have said. We don’t have the ring with us anymore, Lord Ayato.”
This is it. Without the ring, there’s no more of this marriage shenanigans or whatsoever. The choice between being rewarded hundreds of thousands of mora to reacquire precious jewelry, or living in the wilderness with no mora was a hard choice at first. But now that he has finally decided, the latter was the best option.
Paimon is too gullible to notice the ring box was hidden in his pockets so once this plan is a success, he can finally be free and return back to his usual life!
“Oh wait! Paimon has found it!”
The fairy raised the box as if she had won a contest and gave it to Ayato.
“Here you go! In perfect condition.”
A smug smile donned her face, her hands on her hips and her chest puffed out to claim the honor of bringing back the jewelry in perfect condition.
Ayato applauded her with a slow clap. He could watch them the whole day, taking it as his form of entertainment in his free time with this drastic contrast between the traveler’s denial and his companion’s eagerness.
“Excellent work.”
Paimon giggled, her arms behind her back as she rubbed her feet together in bashfulness from the praise of the Kamisato Head.
“So what do we get?”
A quick change of personality. Mora is really the number one she has set as her priority.
“Of course.”
Ayato cleared his throat and clapped his hand, then all of a sudden several shrine maidens entered the terrace. All were busy serving the two: Paimon, who yelped when suddenly grabbed by one of the girls, was being dressed in a robe and tying the knot with perfect ease; whereas Aether defended himself by crawling back up until his back was against the wall and was cornered everywhere with no escape.
He gulped, small tears brimming from his eyes to quietly give in and admit defeat.
There is no escape from the Kamisato Clan.
There is no escape from the ruthless hands of Kamisato Ayato.
“Traveler, Paimon, the Kamisato Clan humbly welcomes you to reside in our household for as long as you wish. All necessities ranging from Mora to even personal needs will be provided by the Yashiro Commission.”
Ayato opened his hand fan and waved it back and forth to cool himself. Just as he had predicted, both were at loss for words in his offer. Paimon even slapped her cheeks to check if she was in a dream that was being treated so… highly.
“Aether did you hear that?!” Paimon shouted in excitement. “We don’t need to settle a camp outside and we don’t have to live in the wilderness anymore!” She cried and sobbed on his chest out of happiness.
“No more slimes stealing our food. No more kairagis attacking our base and no more pesky mosquitoes that always bite Paimon!” She snorted on his scarf and smiled at the head of the Yashiro Commission.
“Yes, Master Ayato! We are happy to stay in this household!”
This is it.
This is now Aether’s fate.
He is now held captive by none other than Kamisato Ayato until he proposes to one of the Kamisato sisters.

Extra:
“A letter from Aether…?”
The knight nodded his head and handed the envelope to the Outrider.
“It certainly is. It’s addressed to the Favonious Headquarters.”
Amber flipped the envelope, her ruby eyes scanning on the name and the logo stamped onto the paper.
“Is he alright? I wonder what he is doing in Inazuma…”
She stole a glance at Lisa who was sipping her tea in silence, a silent conversation and question what the letter is for. The librarian encouraged her to open. It’s better to read it now and see what this was for. But everyone was thankful he sent a letter to Mondstadt, signifying Aether’s alive and well.
Taking the piece of paper out from its confinement, she read the written contents out loud.
“I am expected to continue the Kamisato bloodline.”
A pregnant silence filled over the headquarters. Amber and Lisa had their lips shut, the stiff muteness cannot be helped but take over to cease their duties.

Hihi! If possible, can I ask for some fluffy headcanons for Kazuha and Albedo with a very shy but sweet/angelic fem! s/o who has a tendency to downplay her amazing artistic abilities please? Thank u and please take care of yourself!!
「 shy, sweet!s/o who’s too humble with her abilities: kazuha and albedo 」
a/n: :(((( anonnnn sorry for taking so long to post, actually I've already finished this a long time ago but I didn't post it :((( idk where im going with this and take care of yourself too!
pairing: kaedahara kazuha, albedo x reader (seperates)
↬ when kazuha first saw your art, he was surprised by how much you underestimate it. he genuinely thought your art is a piece sent from the celestia, that and there’s a slight bias on the opinion. although you never seemed to favor showing your arts to the public.
☆ “dearest, must I say how beautiful your art is? because I think you’re having a different opinion than me.” he saw the way your ears reddened after hearing his compliment. you put your sketchbook over your face, only letting the eyes show, “you’re too nice kazuha, my art is nothing beautiful.” so you said.
he almost sighed when you downplayed your ability yet again, well as your lover, kazuha is more than pleased to assist you in gaining more confidence. he wouldn’t want to see his favorite artist feels bad about her own art as kazuha loves it.
↬ the poet loves to admire your art, he loves to watch you drawing, he loves to see you get shy when you noticed he was staring at you as you quickly hide your drawing. so by no means does he love watching you be proud of your own art with a bright smile on your face despite it rarely happening.
☆ you peeked from your sketchbook to see kazuha staring back at you, your eyes scurried from him to your sketch of him and back to him. “ah! it’s.. you look beautiful there so I thought.. I want to draw it, sorry.”
the light haired warrior stayed still at his spot and with a voice that seemed softer than ever to your ears, he said, “it’s alright, I rather would like to see how my love perceives me, you wouldn’t mind that right?” his words received your usual bright smile as a response. to smile that bright just because of his selfish request, you were too sweet for this world.
↬ kazuha appreciates that you’re letting him go through your sketchbook but how should he explain the way his heart beat flutters with each drawing of him. you who’s in front of him looks like she wants to cry from embarrassment the time you realized that there were many drawings of your lover in said book.
☆ “ah.. so this is how you see me.. I’m honoured.” kazuha let a smile up his face. did you cast magic in this drawing? if not then why can he feel your love from your drawing?
you were sitting beside him, enduring the embarrassment you feel every time he compliments your art. yet you can sense he was genuine about it and you are happy with it. “no, that’s just a drawing.. the way I see you is much more blinding than words or pencils can describe, because I love you.” after saying that, you immediately put your forehead on kazuha’s shoulder. looking at the pretty ground while your boyfriend chuckles.
↬ in knowing that you’ve such artistic abilities, albedo was proud of you. but that wasn’t the case for you. he wonders why you tend to downplay your art when in fact it’s one of the best in mondstadt. maybe in teyvat as a whole but the man has no way to know that with his piled up works. you’re his lover who he so much adores, akin to an angel some had said.
☆ albedo glanced at your drawing figure before shortly continuing his experiment with a smile barely visible on his face. you probably had noticed his mood shifting, that’s the reason you asked him if something good happened. “I was just looking at you.” the male said as he noted something in his experiment. whether you figure out what he was implying behind his words are up to you.
and judging from your gradually reddening face, you figured it out.
↬ sometimes when albedo has free times, you two will take a walk around mondstadt and if spotted a pretty scenery, you’ll stop by to rest there. maybe whip out a sketchbook and leave trails of the view on a paper with a pencil. view of the nature, of the creatures around it and also view of your lover.
☆ you tugged on albedo’s shirt, pointing at the tree nearby. it’s pretty big and able to act as a shade from the sun’s light. there were also flowers growing scattered. a nice place to rest and sketch without any disturb. albedo doesn’t seem to have any reason to deny which led them under said tree.
arriving there and going through your bag, you just realized you forgot to bring your sketching tools. a shame really. the alchemist decided that his next art should be you considering how long it has been since you both had the chance to leisure around like this. you who have nothing to do instead of playing with your boyfriend’s hair, excitedly did up a natural pose. albedo’s drawing is your favorite in the whole universe and every time you see yourself on someーmore than half actuallyーcanvas of his, you’ll always be immensely touched by that.
↬ you don’t really favor showing your art to others which explained why you usually draw somewhere closed off or where people rarely visit. or maybe you just draw in your room. albedo frequently catches you in an action of observing your current process. a coloured canvas in front of you, one hand holding the palette and one hand the brush.
☆ the alchemist also frequently catches you in an action of sleeping with your favorite pencil in hand and your sketch beside your sleeping face. possibility that you were waiting for him to come home until you fell asleep. albedo feels guilty for having you wait for him that long but he also wants to be selfish and relish the fact that you waited for him.
he slipped his arms under your back and knees, carefully lifting you up from the uncomfortable position you were in. once he put you on the bed, albedo took his time cleaning up the desk. the male turned to look at the drawing you were making just now. ah, this was during your second date, he recognized. did you draw this based on pure memory or what? nevertheless the answer, albedo will still find himself become amused of your arts. let it be then you tend to downplay your ability, he’ll just do his part to let you gain more confidence in your ability. his sweet lover deserved to do so.

Helloooooo. May I request an angst fic with comfort with Kazuha? I find not much angst Kazuha fic so.... If it is too hard, you can change to another character (or if you like so).
The idea here is... maybe.... forget a special occasion? Im bad at idea lmao, so you can write any idea you want
Thanksss so much
-UwU anon-
esteemed guest [gn/m.reader]
yo boi’s here to answer some requests because i have been pent-up from my workload ughhh. thank u UwU anon for this lovely request, i have been meaning to write for our dearest samurai <3, also this was supposed to be a normal “i forgot your bday” trope… but… the drama queen in me could never live that down. so please… bear with this dramatic one-shot, i hope you don’t mind the drastic trope change (pls don’t be mad). definitely did not write this while listening to susato’s alt theme serenade. ugh. her chara theme song is too good.
𖦹 moderate angst, hurt/comfort, non-linear style story, descender reader (i kinda miss writing for an otherworldly reader, which i remember the last one was xiao’s), mentions of death, i heavily romanticized loneliness
To wait is to face the bittersweetness of the lonely company. It is to welcome the nights of coldness with no one to keep you warm. It is to embrace what little left of time in between your meetings, always often ending in promises that are to be kept despite the odds.
To wait is to painstakingly nurse the hope within you that he will come back.
And to you, Kazuha is worth the wait. He always will be — from the very first time you and him met until the last breaths that you could manage should he be there for you on your death bed. Though you had every confidence that death is something not to worry about, it does leave you relatively concerned at the prospect of passing without even having to chat with your most endeared companion.
Kazuha was your everything, he pulled you out of that loneliness that you were slowly sinking into, giving into the depths with a warm embrace as you resided in the desolate islands of this broken apart nation. He was just a wandering ronin, hiding away from the prying eyes of the shogunate, and you were quite literally not from this world, taking refuge in an unknown place in a world you only took a chance at to flee from the atrocities of your own home.
Quite frankly, you and Kazuha were both rifts adrift at sea, only to find solace in each other’s loneliness and somber company, both grief-stricken and exasperated after being trapped in the throes of your own lives.
Your status from your home meant nothing now, but even that was something that you can forgive and forget as long as the samurai in exile was by your side, visiting you every so often with a small smile on his face, offering you the company that you can only long for after having it so cruelly taken away from you in your isolation.
So to wait… to wait was nothing. It was something that you can bear through — dressed in your finest robes, under that familiar big tree by the shore where your lonesome house stood, you would wait for him to make good on his promise of companionship.
But never had you expected that it would be soon that he would break his promise, leaving you by your prying thoughts that were so needlessly merciless, undying and full of doubts that ate away at you. You figured it was the loneliness that was plaguing you that must have caused it. It was madness — pure, unadulterated insanity where you had no hopes of climbing out of. It felt like a vortex pulling you in.
However this time, your samurai’s gentle hands would not come to hold yours to the rescue.
The first time he’d forgotten your promise was when you finally mustered the courage to share him a piece of your home world — a mere recreation of a dish from your family, which was honored by most people as it was prepared and ate by people of your status back then, in a way it was as if to introduce him to the family you’ve deserted, the family that would have loved him so, so much.
You’ve foraged through the entire island of Tatarasuna on that day, waking up before the sun could make an appearance just to make the most of the day. It was often that Kazuha would arrive by the day to have as much time with you after all, and the thought was enough to make you feel giddy. You ought to create a good Teyvat rendition of your family’s cuisine and so went on a trip, trying to find substitutions to the entire recipe (you’ve yet to see which ones were poisoned, considering the fact that your body can be a little bit different compared to the residents of this world).
Your heart was filled to the brim with elation and excitement coursed through your veins as you prepared your proxy delicacy in hopes to share a piece of yourself to Kazuha. He had done so much for you these recent months, and cooking a favored dish of his was one of the gestures that you can hardly forget. And you ought to return it with the same amount of love and care as the one you’ve felt from him.
You finished your dish with pure satisfaction — now all that was left was to wait for him.
And so you waited, and waited, and waited. Until the night fell with no traces of the ronin, leaving you perplexed.
Your gaze drifted to the dish that you created, finally taking a spoon and taking a good bite out of it.
Your eyebrows furrowed — there was something lacking, “…Hm. Not sweet enough,” you murmured before getting up to write down the things you could improve on.
That day passed in the company of nothing and a not-so-sweet dish.
The second time he broke your promise was the day you ventured out into the city of Inazuma. Although exiled, Kazuha made no reservations in telling you about the city of his beloved nation — it was bustling with people in the day, yet as quiet as a ghost town at night. Everyone worked on clockwork and always seemed to have a tight schedule to follow. Kazuha was a free-spirit and often moved against it, following the wind’s will and his for the most part.
You remember chastising him about the importance of punctuality, but Kazuha managed to weasel out of it by serenading you with yet another romantic poetry that held no destination nor a dedication. You often told him that clothing told stories of different variations — some told tragedies, some with honor, and some with the fiery passion of romance.
“I’m rather curious about this new form of storytelling…” you could feel your skin tingle as Kazuha’s hand ghosted over the nape of your neck, gazing at you with something you can only decipher as a gentle adoration that left a feeling that stirred within your core. It almost rendered you tight-lipped, only to realize that he was implying something.
You remember almost losing the composure of someone of your status (no doubt your family tutor would smack your palms if they saw you), eyes blown wide as your jaw stuttered out an unintelligible gibberish before sighing as the ronin laughed, “You’re… you’re lucky I know how to sew.”
“Is that an acceptance to my request?”
“I’ll make you the finest garment.” You assured him that time and sealed your promise with a smile, much like how he also promised to come back the next.
Your hands skillfully wove a thread through the hem of the sleeves — you figured taking an inspiration from your good friend’s clothing would be a way to incorporate the interwoven stories that you and him now share in this world. You would have to thank the seamstress of your family, with enough of your curious and persistence, he gave in and taught you the basics of weaving and stitching certain patterns into the fabric with a clean finish.
A fond smile crossed your face, surely despite the fact that Kazuha wasn’t able to fulfill the promised meet last time, he would make it up to you this time.
However even your self-assurance was cut short when the monstrous doubt decided to claw its way up to the surface from the deepest pits of your form, its canines sinking into you like an unforgiving beast in your home. It had you writhing in agony as the thought of your esteemed guest forgetting his promise — clutching onto you like a needy child unable to let go of its parent. It was a seed of doubt that you refused to entertain, but it was a persistent and intrusive thought.
Your frown was evident that day when the sky had fallen into soft hues of oranges and violets, the clouds crowning the sky and the sun ready to slumber like almost everyone in this nation.
The night was catching up soon and your esteemed guest is not present. It didn’t take long before a heavy feeling weighed itself on your chest, pushing you down into a familiar twinge of disappointment that you felt on the first
You remember coming back inside your abode that night, eyes narrowing as your gaze lowered to the robes you managed to finish. You tilted your head, immediately pouncing on the chance to scrutinize your own hard work.
There was a dissatisfied look on your visage, “Not vibrant enough,” you turned on your heel, brisk and swift before marching down to a much different part of the house, unable to look at your craftsmanship anymore.
The third time he had forgotten to make good on his promise, you were certain that Kazuha had long forgotten about you just as much. But there was a sliver of hope that thrived within you, a tiny flame from what little spark you have left.
A soft croon left your lips as you looked up on the moon, bathing in its soft glow that oversaw the entire nation. Your feet dug into the sandy shores nearby your desolate home, as the gentle breeze caresses your face. It was bittersweet that the wind reminded you so much of him. He spoke so highly of it and the wind itself embodied the freedom that Kazuha shouldered on his own.
“Third time’s the charm!”
You puckered your lips and blew into the leaf, barely managing to replicate the ronin’s music. Kazuha’s laughter went unnoticed as you looked at him with disdain and a face that absolutely just gave up, “Are you sure this is not a jest? I am quite certain plants cannot create music.”
He plucked the leaf from your hold and flashed you a sweet smile with mischief at the corners of his lips, “Hm? You lack technique, I’m afraid. Watch and learn.” And what you failed to do, he did so with ease and class, only rendering you speechless. You always did appreciate people that have talent, they were the best kind of people and your adoration for them never was lacking.
You furrowed your eyebrows as you tried to make sense of his apparent technique, only to be startled when Kazuha barged into your personal space, his lips almost ghosting over yours with that unyielding grin of his — so sweet and so gentlemanly, always leaving you at the edge.
“Shall I show you how?”
Your eyes never failed to drift to your companion’s lips, tempting and supple, curved perfectly into a smile that can knock the wind out of your sails. And yet being reminded of it now… does not aid you in the slightest. He was always just a strand of hair away, it was always a paper thin distance, it was like being lured into a trap but you were far more aware than the usual, and you absolutely loathed it now.
But even under the daylight, you closed your eyes and blindly walked into it.
“…Sure.”
Third time’s the charm, indeed, you would desperately believe in it just to see your beloved ronin once more. The company that you sought after being lonely for so long. And yet, as the soft waves caressed your bare feet, even with the crows that you’ve domesticated, you found yourself wallowing in the grace of loneliness once more.
You leaned over to your rippling reflection in the water with a pout as you stewed in the growing emptiness in your heart. You reached out a hand to touch the reflection, watching yourself distort as you concluded your final thoughts.
“Maybe it’s you… who is not enough.”
That night, you never bothered returning to your home.
Time was against Kazuha as he itched with want and longing. You were just an island away now that he’s here in the city. He managed to aid the traveler’s quest and had done his friend good service as he fought against the very woman that took Tomo away from him. And now that everything quelled, he wondered if you were alright — if you were still around and still waited by him under that tree like you always did.
And even then, that was the least of his worries. You may be just an island away, but even that can’t stop anything or anyone to disturb you… or even potentially harm you in the first place.
“Kazuha! Let’s go cel— ah? Already going?” The tiny floating creature by the traveler turned to him, concerned and confused.
Kazuha only gave an apologetic smile, “Forgive me for not being in the celebration, I have to check on someone.” He couldn’t afford not having you by his side, not after having to leave you on your own. He didn’t forget, he could never forget; you were the beaming priority at the top of his head constantly.
“Must be someone so important if you’re leaving so soon! Okay! Bring them over if you have time!”
Lucky was he that he didn’t even have to ask the Alcor’s captain as she already hailed a the anchored ship for him to take. The captain might have managed to pry a thing or two about you from the samurai, after all. And for how much work he’s done in being one of the heroes in Inazuma, Beidou figured this was a reward Kazuha would be deserving of the most.
And it only took a good few hours, even less when Kazuha didn’t bother waiting on the ship’s anchoring, already jumping down from the deck to the sandy shores. Just over that cliff was your home, where you would be, safely waiting for him with that smile of yours that he hoped to dream of in every slumber of his.
“Did you know my people can die from loneliness?”
His head rose from your chest, opening an eye to peer at you (you were generous enough to lend him your body as his bed for the moment after his exhausting trip from Liyue). Your smile didn’t quite reach your eyes at that time, and he wasn’t too fond of that, “What’s with this topic all of a sudden?”
“Hm? Ah. No. It’s just a fun fact.”
“Fun…?”
“Mm… I take it back.” You sighed begrudgingly, “It’s not a confirmed phenomena, however. It’s still partly a hoax. But people have seen deaths that come from the inside of our bodies, born out of nowhere but the constriction of their heart. I feel so bad for them.”
Kazuha nodded in sympathy — there was always something far more heart-wrenching at the thought of dying from loneliness. Though bittersweet, he was far more thankful that his friend went with dignity and honor. He perched his chin on your chest with a small smile, “It’s a good thing you’d never succumb to that then.”
Right. He may not have told you out loud, but it’s another promise that he forged. He will never leave you alone, and he made that decision the first moment he laid his eyes on you on that one faithful day. And Kazuha can only hope that you can be forgiving in his absence. He will tell you everything and apologize a hundred thousand times if it meant he can finally whisk you away from this.
“Though it’s sad… our world has always valued death. It’s a beautiful send off, y’know? Once we leave the plane of existence, our body dissipates in the prettiest flowers.”
Kazuha’s pace picks up as he shook his head to rid himself of those thoughts, perishing any form of doubt that tried to chase him in this seemingly hundred mile run.
His breathing was ragged as soon as he reached his destination, only to face complete emptiness. There was no disturbance within the air but the winds howled and he could detect a faint smell of something new. It was fragrant, almost like flowers.
The wind blew harder and he was faced with petals swirling around. His heart stopped.
Spring is still a good few months away from now.
A lone petal draped itself on his shoulder and he could barely stop the dread that soon rose through his throat as a sick bile. Bitterness burned through his throat and he could feel his stomach drop by a mile. He stewed in the silence as desperation slowly curled around him, strangling him so mercilessly.
Far too late.
Much like him back when his friend was ripped away from him by the threads of fate and life.
He fell down to his knees, unsure whether it was the weight of devastation or exhaustion that prompted him so. Numbness was slowly spreading in his body, like a poison that cannot even be stopped in the first place. His mind raced with thoughts of ‘what ifs’ of what could have been and what should have been, of what could have happened if he risked at least a day to see you once more.
“…I never forgot… I hope you knew that. I could never.”
“Ah… that’s comforting.”
In an instant, the samurai’s head shot up as he briskly looked over his shoulder and there you were, standing with a basket in hand. No doubt you’d have been foraging at this hour.
Suddenly, there was ease in his heart as he quickly stood up and ran towards you, soon finding himself completely entangled with you.
Warmth flourished in Kazuha’s chest as he clutched onto your robes tight until his knuckles turned white. There was desperation in his eyes and even he couldn’t lie as he prayed that this wasn’t a hallucination of some sort, that you were here with him and only him. And perhaps it was because he was able to save his nation from falling into a miserable fate, as his prayers were answered the moment he felt your arms wrap around him, warm, gentle, and comforting, like always.
He could feel himself getting lifted up and he refused to let go — not even just to look at you. He wasn’t one to take things for granted, especially not after the scare he just got.
“Welcome home, my most esteemed guest,” your voice was music to his ears, far better than what he could have been hearing in that celebration by the city.
“I deeply apologize for my tardiness,” he murmured into the crook of your neck, lips pressing a ghost of a kiss on your exposed skin. “I hope there is forgiveness and mercy in store for me.”
You only laughed, squeezing Kazuha in your arms tighter, just as equally afraid to let go as he is, “Of course… patience is a virtue any good host must acquire.”
“I have so much to tell…” and finally did Kazuha open his eyes, only to see the crew a few meters back, waving at him. “…And a few guests in tow.”
He finally leaned back to gaze at your face that he missed so much. In his opinion, no amount of photos can capture the absolute beauty your visage held, you were his beacon in his darkest moments, and no other person can measure up to the company that you bring him.
And you could say the same for him — even with the traces of exhaustion on your beloved samurai’s face, he exuded that gentle beauty that no one could hope to imitate in the slightest. Oh how you truly missed him.
“I’d be honored to have you.”
Kazuha hopes that you mean it in more ways than one.

Kazuha Confessing His Love to You - (Male Reader)
Your legs dangled above the sea, sitting comfortably on the ship known as the “Crux Fleet”.
Suddenly, a voice snapped you out of your day dreaming.
“Compared to the storms I’ve encountered out at the sea, this is really quite tame.”
Kazuha said behind you as you didn’t bother to take a glance at him.
“And when the sea is tame while you’re on a board, you tend to feel brightened at heart.”
“It does brighten the mood, but sometimes I do not feel like napping when I want to.”
You said as you yawned.
To you, it felt like he was just talking poetry and whatever was on his mind as usual. But in reality, he just wanted your attention.
It always gnawed at Kazuha’s heart, that nagging feeling whenever you were near him.
He didn’t know why he felt like this. But now?
Kazuha figured out the puzzle.
He fell for you, hard.
He figured this out a couple hours ago, but was too nervous and overwhelmed with his feelings.
A couple hours ago..
Kazuha sighed as he kept picturing every expression, every moment he was with you. He climbed on the bed and lay still.
This had gone on for a while, him thinking of you every second and covering his face with a pillow a couple times.
That was when he had realized.
All this nonstop thinking of you, dreamy sighs and dreams of you two being together.
Connect them, and you get the answer: a crush.
Kazuha has fallen hard time for you.
So much that he blushed in bed because he recalled that he accidentally drank out of your cup one time. Making that an indirect kiss.
Present
“Y/N, I have something to tell you.”
Kazuha blurted out smoothly.
“What is it?”
You responded back.
“Our hearts may not be connected now, but it would be nice as our journey begins anew.”
“Where are you going with this?”
You immediately said back. You wanted to know where he was going with this.
“Patience, my dear bird. The wind that breezes around you have encouraged me to say this to you, so I will. I only want to say that I have fallen for you. My heart is full of the thoughts of you. One single thought of you, raises my spirit. Do you accept our journey..?”
Kazuha said as though it was normal. It looked on the outside as if he was calm and composed. But on the inside, he was nervous and just wanted to lock himself in his room for confessing to you. He really wanted to change the “friend” label, but he was always too nervous each time he was about to go out of his room when he realized the truth.
“Yes, I accept. I love you too, Kazu.”
You accepted full heartedly.
Kazuha smiled lightly and you raised your arms as a signal of a hug.
He immediately ran as fast as his legs could carry him and hugged you back while smiling like a maniac.
(P.s. this was originally gonna be him sleeping in your lap lol)
