PUT ON YOUR RECORDS AND REGRET ME
katsuki bakugou x reader
should you open the door after all he’s done?
part 2/3
a/n: ty for all the love on part 1 🤍
not saying this is a major vent based off of personal experience but im not not saying that
inspired by high infidelity
Tumblr media
to say you didn’t always have suspicions would be a lie. you didn’t want to believe them. broken locks, shifty text messages, numbers you didn’t always recognize, and the slight feeling of him pulling away. you didn’t think he’d actually do it. and honestly, neither did he.
alcohol does crazy things to a person. and so when you, your boyfriend, and all his friends decided to go out to a bar to celebrate his birthday, you knew it wasn’t going to be a tame night. but you didn’t think you’d go home, alone and crying, the scent of whiskey lingering on your clothes.
he bent the truth too far that night. he came to you in the morning, his hangover evident by his eye bags and poor choice of clothing. he still smelled like alcohol from the night before.
and despite all that, you still listened. listened to his story about how he was whisked away in a drinking game with kaminari and kirishima, and bakugou was supposedly the only one sober enough to take the two guys home. that made a convenient explanation as to why he left you all alone with no ride home.
and pathetically so, you wanted to believe him. despite the radio silence from everyone the everyone the previous night, the smell of perfume on his shirt that smelled too strong to be yours, and the taste of someone else when he kissed your lips.
and for each day after that, you learned more and more the many different ways you can kill the one you love. the worst way is never loving them enough.
it started by your calls going straight to voicemail- each time he’d say that his phone died while he was patrolling. then constantly needing to call kirishima, the only other person who knows him like you do, desperately needing help to manage his emotions. the redhead had infinite patience for your boyfriend, and you were thankful for that- but you also wondered what haunted bakugou so much that he couldn’t go to you for.
he wanted to play the role of the good guy, even if it was just that- a role. he wanted to be who you deserved, even after he earned a big black stain on his morality after the crime he committed. he wanted things to just be normal, but it couldn’t. he was lying through his teeth and you both knew it, and yet couldn’t say anything about it.
until april 29th. exactly 9 days after his birthday. 9 days after what he did.
he breaks it off quick. he tells you that he’s not treating you right, that he’s a shitty boyfriend and a shitty person. that he needs to be a better person and that he can’t make you wait for him. and so, katsuki bakugou leave safe and stranded.
and in a way, he was right. being a shitty boyfriend, being everything you don’t deserve was only a part of it- he knew that if he stayed with you any longer, the guilt from the truth would eat him alive. so selfishly, he chose to preserve himself and to let you hurt. that might have killed him more.
you didn’t even bother to get your things from his apartment. in fact, you couldn’t get out of bed. because you kneel you were lied too yet you didn’t want to revel in the truth. the truth that katsuki bakugou wasn’t just a shitty boyfriend, he was a shitty cheating boyfriend.
you denied everything for the days to come. you hoped it was all just some twisted dream, and that what happened wasn’t really happening. that was all so until the day you got a visit from a certain redhead.
it was a normal day. you were lounging in your apartment, needing time away from all the heartache in the world. you treated your suspicions like a secret. maybe if you didn’t think about it, it wouldn’t have actually happened. as if simple denial could erase reality.
the sun is setting when your doorbell rings. when you answer, its kirishima. your heart sinks, wondering why he’d be visiting you directly. you wanted to hope for the best, but you didn’t exactly know what to expect.
the redhead grimaces when he sees the way he breaks your heart. he knows he’s doing the right thing, but he hates how the right thing is causing you so much pain. he explains to you the truth of that night, behind katsuki’s sudden break up. how it wasn’t just because he felt like he wasn’t good enough- what he did actually proved that fear. kirishima explains how bakugou got absolutely shit-faced drunk, and how he went home with who was not, in fact, you. he tries to salvage it, by saying that katsuki didn’t hesitate to cut her off, to tell her it was a mistake and that he shouldn’t have done it. he was also quick to tell his best friend how god damn unmanly it was for him to cheat on you. he says that he couldn’t take it anymore watching you being lied even during the split.
“i’m so fucking sorry, [y/n].” he concludes his confession, his red eyes looking into yours. he hates that this is happening. he loves bakugou, and by extension he loves you, and he can’t stand the idea of this happening to his two favourite people in the world.
you don’t say much as he leaves. what could you say, anyway?
katsuki bakugou had cheated on you.
✧.* ⋆.˚ ☾ .˚ ✧.* ✧.* ⋆.˚ ☾ .⭒˚ ✧.* ✧.* ⋆.˚ ☾ .⭒˚ ✧.* ✧.* ⋆.˚
after your suspicions were confirmed, you finally mustered up enough courage to get out of bed. you went over to his apartment and quietly collected your things, your heart racing out of your chest just being in his presence. and of course, he tries to stop you. he knows you’ve learned the truth and it makes his stomach churn.
“fucking some other girl is one thing, but lying to me too.” you hiss, both of you wincing at the sound of your voice cracking under all the heart. his usual smart ass mouth is silent, knowing damn well he deserves the accusations. what hurts more is seeing the tears run down your face, dragging the mascara down your cheeks. “you told me it was for my own good. t-that you needed to work on yourself. not that you cheated!”
“…i didn’t wanna hurt you even more.” he finally admits, as if pleading guilty in front a judge. and you actually scoff.
“you coward.” you hiss.
“yeah, i’m a FUCKING coward, [y/n]! i know!” he raises his voice, but you’re too numb from the hurt to care. “i couldn’t live with myself! waking up next to you knowing i fucking betrayed you. i had to let you go. you deserved more than me!”
and honestly, you don’t know what to think. you’re so angry and hurt over the fact that he cheated on you, lied, and broke up with you all in the same month.
you could see the guilt eating him up from the inside. you could see how your tear stained face right now was killing him. his anger was like an anchor dug straight through his heart. you could see in his eyes he’s been wanting to tear his own skin off after what he did to you.
you hastily wipe your eyes dry, turning away from him and moving towards the front door. his legs that were glued to the ground finally move, catching your wrist just as your about to turn the door knob.
and you actually wait. you wait to see what he’ll say. you wait to hear all his shitty excuses, or even to taste his lips and taste something that isn’t you. deep down in your heart, you hope he fights for you. that he’ll fight to keep you around, to love you again.
what hurts the most is that he doesn’t.
“…get home safe, babe.”
you nod, eyes welling up again before exiting his apartment. the walk back down is silent, even as your good friend, shouto, opens the door for you. he drives you home, playing all the breakup songs he knows you love. he’s silent, but he knows its what you need right now.
once he pulls up to your driveway, he finally musters up the courage to speak.
“…i’m sorry, [y/n].”
his voice is so velvet, a stark contrast to your ex boyfriend’s. but honestly, everyones attempts to talk to you all seem futile. you sigh, looking over at your friend with tear stained eyes.
“you know the worst part?”
“whats the worst part?”
“…i think i still love him.”
and thats the worst part.
reminder that cheating is a horrible thing to do and love does not equal forgiveness. this is simply just fiction! 🪞
part 3 soon! 🪽

Y/N: Uh... what's up with them?
Mina: They're trying to yell mental health and wellbeing into us.
Bakugou: I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU!

bkg slowburn partners to lovers excellence
fyi: aged up, drinking, not beta'd, deal w it
Tumblr media
Cupid's Chokehold (3.7k)
"I'm falling in love with you."
It rolls off your tongue without a second thought, and you relish the relief of your confession. Katsuki can't control his surprise, and you can read his answer off his face, and for a brief moment, you regret making your move.
The sting of rejection is quickly numbed purely by willpower, and you laugh airily.
"You have a terrible poker face," you tease lightly. You steel yourself for the next part by deeply breathing through your teeth. "You aren't interested in me."
"It's not like that," Katsuki mumbles quietly, his ears turning pink. "I need to focus on my career. We both do."
"Gotcha," you whisper, looking off into space, head turned away from him. "No, you're right." You clear your throat and begin to wrap up your trash from your forgotten lunch.
Katsuki seems to want to stop you, but he's silent as he watches you step out of your seat and make a quick visit to the nearest trash bin.
"Look, we're good," you assure him as you prepare to end this shared meal. "Nothing's changed. We're partners."
Katsuki raises a brow at you, remaining in his seat. "Then how come you're leaving?"
You respond with a dry laugh, fighting down the pit in the back of your throat. "Give a girl a second to wallow, Bakugo," you huff. Shrugging, you awkwardly shift your weight back and forth between your stance. "At least I won't be so distracted during patrols anymore."
It's your weak attempt to lighten the mood. Although, it's hard to commit when trying to come to terms with your rejection. Unfortunately, Katsuki doesn't find it amusing, and his expression remains a combination of surprise and confusion.
"I won't be as weird tomorrow," you brush off sheepishly. "Get home safe." With a single nod, you turn to leave before anything can stop you.
You feel like you can breathe again once you shut your door and feel your car engine rumble to life. Before you can shift gears, a wave of embarrassment and shame washes over you, and you throw your head back against your seat.
Pressing your hands against your face, you let out a sound of anguish, feeling like a fool. Raking your fingers back through your hair, you sigh.
"You just can't shut up sometimes, can you?" Your voice is quiet as it disturbs the otherwise silence in your car. "Brush it off. You're not dying." You shake your head and quickly note where the alcohol in your apartment is for when you get home.
-
Katsuki doesn't notice anything different about your dynamic in the days following your confession. You make eye contact easily and banter with him like nothing has happened. You're civil and, for the most part, stay on task during patrol.
You're the perfect partner, and yet, Katsuki can sense something has shifted.
"You're late," he grumbles, glaring at you as you stride to your desk with a compostable coffee cup in your hands.
"Would you relax," you dismiss him with a flimsy wave of your hand. You drop your bag onto your chair and start peeling off your layers. "We don't start for another ten minutes. I'll be right back."
You disappear to change into your uniform, and Katsuki takes this opportunity to invade your privacy.
"You don't drink coffee," he states skeptically after bringing your cup up to his nose and taking a whiff. The stench from the coffee is strong but not enough to cover up the scent of your lipstick coating the mouthpiece. He didn't even realize you wore makeup.
"Hey, don't drink my drink," you chastise as soon as you return, adjusting the sleeves of your uniform.
"You don't even like coffee," he accuses, setting your cup back on your desk. You respond with an incredulous laugh.
"No, you don't like coffee," you correct him. "I'm perfectly happy drinking coffee."
"Why would you need to drink it anyways? Didn't you get enough sleep?" Katsuki's glare softens as he gives you a quick scan, picking up the exhaustion clouding your eyes and the tentative way you handle your stationery. "Did you at least eat something? I don't need you passing out on me during a fight."
"You almost sound worried," you say with a dry tone, covering it up with a hollow chuckle. "Where's the trust, man?"
"There is none," Katsuki bites back quickly, but the humored glint in your eyes relieves him. "Are you almost ready to head out?"
"Can we ever just start when our shift starts?" You groan with a roll of your eyes as you return your stationery to their respective spots on your desk.
"Being on time is being late," Katsuki reminds you of what feels like the millionth time since he's met you.
He can hear you poorly imitate him behind his back, but when he turns to glare at you, you're inspecting your nails and obviously feigning innocence.
It's all too normal for his liking, and he's unsure why. He should feel grateful that you're not awkward after your confession and that you've moved past it and carried on your professionalism, but he's not. Not entirely, at least.
A little part of him can't stop hearing your confession.
"I'm falling in love with you."
Every time he meets your eyes, there's a brief pause, and Katsuki can't tell if it's imagination. You glow whenever you smile, even if it's not directed at him, and he can't look away from you.
You still grab lunch with him after your shifts, although now there's a thin blanket of tension veiling your conversations. And, outside of work, there's no contact from you.
Katsuki misses the days when you'd message him in the morning before your shifts, asking if he wanted anything from the shop that you stopped by for quick meals. He'd never take you up on your offer, but now he'll see you walk in with a to-go cup and wonder if you forgot to text him. He knows the truth, though.
You're trying to get over him. He can see right through your efforts, no matter how subtle you're trying to be. Katsuki notices the way you freeze up whenever he brushes his hand against your arm or grabs at you to check for injuries.
Every time, without fail, you'll clear your throat and yank yourself away from him, avoiding his accusing glare.
"I'm fine," you grit out, holding your arm that's obviously in pain. "I'll be good. Thanks."
Just let me take care of you, Katsuki will think bitterly to himself, watching you stagger away and doing nothing about it. You never used to be this difficult when he was just trying to do his job.
You'd argue that caring for you wasn't part of the job, and he'd find every fiber of him disagreeing with you.
"What are you doing this Friday?"
You're obviously surprised once you comprehend what Katsuki is asking towards the end of your patrol. You look flustered and waging an internal battle in your head.
"My idiot friends are having their monthly get-together," Katsuki explains, uncharacteristically mumbling. "They asked if you wanted to join."
"What?" You laugh, amusement washing away your nerves. "You're inviting me? What are they holding over you to do this?"
Katsuki glares at you, irritated that you guessed correctly. Mina threatened him to invite you, otherwise, she'd show up unannounced at the agency and introduce herself.
Normally, he'd go unphased by her threats, but ever since your confession, Katsuki's felt a shred of anguish that you'll disappear one day.
Even if he couldn't give you the relationship you hoped for, he wanted to provide for you somehow. And, if he had to expose you to his personal life a little more, then he was okay with that. As long as it meant you'd stay with him.
"They threatened to ambush us during a patrol if I didn't."
You fail to stifle your laugh, and Katsuki hopes to elicit more of that from you.
"I appreciate the offer," you eventually answer, and Katsuki feels elated at your initial positivity. It quickly dissipates when you reject his invitation. "I have plans this Friday, actually. For once." You laugh at your deprecating allusion, but Katsuki maintains his aloof expression.
"Suddenly, you're too good for my friends?" It was meant to be a joke, but his abrasive tone reveals his vulnerable ego.
You visibly hesitate to respond, and Katsuki wonders what you're fighting yourself on. What are you holding back from him?
"I have plans already," you repeat with more force, finalizing your explanation, and Katsuki feels irritation bubbling in his stomach.
You didn't make plans that required you to leave your apartment often – Katsuki knew this. You lived with your best friend, so most of your time outside of work was spent at home. Whenever you managed to come across real plans that involved wearing nicer clothes than sweatpants, you'd normally chat Katsuki's ear off about your anticipation.
"Do you have a date?" He blurts his question out before he can comprehend the thought, and he can feel the tips of his ears get warm with embarrassment.
You can't fight back the surprise from reaching your face, and Katsuki knows the answer before you nod.
You laugh sheepishly at getting caught, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear – a nervous habit Katsuki has caught on to after two years of working with you.
"Yeah, I do," you murmur, looking everywhere but at him. "My roommate set it up with her boyfriend's friend."
How come you didn't tell me, he wants to ask, but he already knows. "Is he nice?"
"Yeah, he's..." He watches your eyes glaze over as you get stuck in your head before clearing your throat. "He's nice. Why?"
Katsuki shrugs, feigning indifference. Inside, he's frustrated, but he knows he shouldn't be.
You're his partner. His work partner.
As long as this random head that's taking you out doesn't distract you during your patrols – when you're with him – then he can't shouldn't complain.
"Will you tell me how it goes?" His question is quiet because he's embarrassed to ask, but he wants to know. He knows not knowing will bother him, and he can't explain to himself why.
"Um, sure," you hesitate to answer, almost questioning yourself.
You keep details of your date private from him after Friday comes and goes. The curiosity eats at Katsuki whenever he catches you glancing at your phone or smiling at yourself at your desk, but he keeps it to himself.
-
Your shift today was harder than usual. A few minor misdemeanors followed up with a villain attack.
You could tell that Katsuki was frustrated throughout the whole time, keeping quiet and growling to himself more often than usual.
After, when you were packing up your things to leave for the day, you noticed Katsuki sitting at his desk with his head hanging low. His arms are relaxed against the chair handles and you think he looks defeated as people walk past him without a glance.
"Trying to get food?" You pipe up, sliding past him to lean back against his desk. You keep your demeanor light, resting your hands against the surface and keeping your chin up. "I'm starving."
"You head out without me," he mumbles, flicking his hand.
"Nah," you hum, smiling at him with encouragement. "Come eat with me."
"Wouldn't that make your boyfriend uncomfortable?"
Boyfriend? You frown at your partner, tilting your head with a curious look.
"My nonexistent boyfriend would probably be more concerned with my obnoxious partner giving me attitude when I'm hungry."
Katsuki finally looks up at you, and you widen your eyes in exaggeration.
"Oh my god, finally," you rasp, holding your hand against your chest. "I was planning on getting you a vest for your birthday to help you with your posture."
"You don't even know when my birthday is," he answers with a sneer, but it doesn't phase you.
"Of course I know when your birthday is, Bakugo," you tell him. "Now, can we please go eat?" You bounce off of his desk and pat his bare shoulder, shortly relishing the satisfying warmth that emits from his body.
Katsuki catches you by surprise when he holds your hand against his arm, squeezing gently.
"Are you okay?" You ask him, knowing what his answer will be but hoping for a rare moment of vulnerability.
"Just tired," he mumbles, not looking at you. You smile softly, understanding where his exhaustion might be coming from, and use your other hand to pat his spiky head.
"You're working hard," you remind him with sympathy. "You did a good job today."
Katsuki doesn't say anything, just responds with a nod.
You start to pull away, but he holds you in place for another moment. Your heart stutters in your chest, and you're hit with a familiar wave of infatuation that you've been desperate to avoid.
"We did a good job today," he finally says. "We're partners."
"I know, Bakugo." As badly as I want to be more, we're just partners. "You're not getting rid of me, unfortunately."
You're forced to yank your hand out of his, avoiding his glare when he turns back to look at you.
"Let's head out already," you plead, creating some distance between you before checking back to see if he's following you.
You can't fight back your smile when you find him out of his seat and pacing over to you.
-
Katsuki hates seeing you in Mina's apartment. It's like his worlds are colliding, and he's still not mentally prepared after a week.
He's grateful you let him pick you up and take you instead of finding your way there. He's also quietly pleased that you're glued to his side because you don't know any of his friends.
"I hope your friend likes this wine," you nervously babble in his ear, and it makes his skin vibrate with how close you are. "How do you not know what alcohol your friends like?"
"Cause I don't care," he bites back, arms crossed over his chest and sending you his normal glare. "And you shouldn't either. Not like they're your friends."
That was obviously not the right thing to say, and Katsuki immediately regrets it when he watches your expression fall.
"Then, why did you invite me?" You sound frustrated and lean away from him slightly. "What am I doing here?"
"Saving me from a night of nuisances."
Katsuki thinks he hears you mumble "Typically," but doesn't respond because Mina and Eijiro approach.
"Hey, Bakubro," Eijiro greets with a wide smile, clapping a hand against Katsuki's arm. "And hello to you too!"
You give them your name with a polite smile and present Mina with your gift. Katsuki has to fight the urge to put his arm around you – to protect you from his friend.
"I didn't know what to bring, but I hope you like this wine."
Mina squeals in delight, taking the bottle from your hands and inspecting it before throwing herself at you. Katsuki's skin prickles at the sight.
"I love wine!" She cries with glee. "You're so considerate! Bakugo never brings me anything."
"When do you ever bring me anything?"
"When do you invite me over?"
The glare Katsuki sends Mina is fatal, but she's unbothered, much to your apparent satisfaction.
"Let's open this right now!" Mina drags you away by the arm, and your panicked expression is enough to bring a soft smile to Katsuki's lips.
"So, she's the partner?" Eijiro takes your spot next to Katsuki and nudges his arm. "Think she's into you?"
The question makes Katsuki scoff, sending his friend a silencing look.
"She is? How'd you find out?"
"She told me," he answers gruffly. "Over a month ago."
Eijiro's eyes almost bug out of his head with how surprised he is.
"Why didn't you say anything? That's awesome, dude."
"Why would that be awesome?"
"Because it's obvious you're into her too?" Eijiro's brows furrow as he looks at Katsuki, who feels a burning fire in his chest light up.
"Excuse me?"
Eijiro sighs, scratching the dark scruff under his jaw. "Come on, man."
"What?"
"You invited her to Mina's shindig," Eijiro points out. "You've been her partner for, what? A few years now, and you're finally bringing her around to meet us?" Katsuki just glares at him.
"Maybe you should mind your business," he tells his friend.
"You're defensive because you know I'm making a good point."
"When have you ever made a good point?"
Eijiro feigns offense when he puckers his bottom lip out in a pout. "I've been known to have good insight occasionally."
"This isn't one of those occasions." Katsuki notices you reappear from the kitchen with Mina, carrying four glasses of wine between you. He clears his throat obnoxiously, successfully silencing Eijiro with a look this time around.
"Hey, here's a glass," you tell him, handing him one from your hand. Katsuki takes it but isn't sure what to do with it.
"I didn't ask for this," he mentions as Mina hands Eijiro his glass.
"He means, 'thank you'," Eijiro answers for him.
"You don't speak for me," Katsuki barks, but your soft laughter kills his irritation.
"Don't worry, I know how he works," you tell his friends as you sip your drink. "He's actually holding my second glass for me."
Mina giggles at your statement, but the smile on your lips tells Katsuki that you aren't joking.
A short while later, after Mina moves on to her other guests and Katsuki has resituated you and him on the couch, you swap glasses with him.
You're invested in a conversation with Sero, angled away from Katsuki, but your legs are curled under you, and the fabric of your socks flick against his legs.
"I'll be back," he mumbles as he rises to his feet, empty wine glass in hand.
He finds himself in Mina's kitchen, a few guests lingering around and chatting. He comes across the wine you brought, empty in an ocean of half-drunk bottles.
Before returning to the couch, he refills your first glass with another wine he finds himself hoping you'll like. You're alone and on your phone by the time he comes back.
"Decide to join in on the fun?" You ask with a beaming smile once you realize he's returned. Katsuki finds himself pleased at the sight of you dropping your phone into your lap without hesitation as he falls into the cushion next to you.
"For you," he says plainly. "For when you finish that glass."
You frown at him playfully, taking another swig from his original glass. "You trying to get me drunk?"
"God, no," he exasperates. "Wanna make sure you're having a good time."
"Good call filling up another glass then," you laugh.
I know how you work too, he finds himself thinking.
"I am having a good time, though," you confess, resting your hand on his leg and giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Thank you for inviting me. I like your friends."
"I think they like you more than they like me."
"Everybody likes me more than they like you. That's how our dynamic works."
Our dynamic. Everything you tell him comes out more meaningful than he assumes you intend. Katsuki doesn't know when that started to happen.
He cherishes the dynamic between you, and for the first time, he's worried that it's in jeopardy. That it's been strained since you confessed to him, and, right now, he's on borrowed time with you.
"Thank you," he tells you. "For coming. You didn't have to."
"I did, though, " you correct him. "Mina tells me she would have shown up unannounced at the agency if you kept me from her any longer."
"Well, she's an idiot."
You give him a knowing smile, leaning against his arm. "Then, you're an idiot by association."
"Shut the hell up."
Your gentle laughter is muffled by the wine glass against your lips. You finish your drink in a single sip and immediately hold the emptied glass to Katsuki. He wordlessly switches your glasses.
He watches intently as you take an experimental sip from the wine he chose for you, and the satisfied hum you release tells him you approve of his choice.
"This is really good. Nice choice," you tell him, holding it out for him. "Did you try it?"
"I'm driving us, remember?" He glares at you for your ridiculous question, but you roll your eyes.
"It's a sip, Katsu-" You stop yourself midway, and Katsuki notices the flush in your cheeks, but not without actively searching for it. "it's just a sip, okay? Try it."
You're shoving the rim of the glass to his lips before he can call you out on your mistake. He reluctantly takes a little sip and his face twists in disgust.
"I don't like wine," he tells you, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand after you spill some against his face.
"Well, that's a shame," you sigh dejectedly, throwing back the remaining wine with a few swigs. Even Katsuki knows wine isn't chugging alcohol. "I'm gonna run to the bathroom."
And when you return a few minutes later, Katsuki notices you curl up in your seat a little further from him.

Two days had passed since the War of Ravager's Crusade. Returning to his kingdom, Bakugou saw the ashes and broken homes of once-smiling children and families, now reduced to rotten, burned bodies beneath the rubble of their own homes. He felt a deep disappointment in himself for failing to protect his kingdom, even after promising his parents he would continue their legacy and be like his mother, the Queen of the Crimson Bones. He had lost everything he swore to uphold, and now he lay in his room, staring blankly at the ceiling.
Hopeless and unsure of what to do, the realization hit him hard: his army, his village, his kingdom, his family-they were all gone. A tear rolled down his cheek, landing on his wrinkled, rough bed. He cried quietly, his sobbing filled with regret. He longed for revenge but felt utterly useless.
Katsuki Bakugou, the Crimson Warrior, was supposed to win this war, but instead, he had lost the souls of those who loved and admired him. He had managed to kill the leader of the Crab Clan without magic, which was impressive enough on its own.
Wait... magic. Magic had been forbidden in his kingdom. His mother had outlawed it, believing that no one should rely on the "easy way out to victory." She felt that those who used raw strength alone were worthy of respect and honor, with the sole exception of healing magic, which was revered for its usefulness.
But now... maybe he could use magic to bring some of his people back. The bodies weren't too far gone yet. Dark magic could be the key.
Bakugou quickly rushed to his library, searching frantically for dark magic spells.

"Y/N, you've got to stop your people from using your magic to revive the dead! Ugh! People in heaven are starting to disappear. We don't want our world to overpopulate!" An angelic but rough voice shouted angrily. It was Azariel.
"Erm... you're overreacting, dude. It's just a couple of people. It's not like a billion people got revived," you replied, unbothered by Azariel's concern and his constant ranting about the "overpopulation theory."
"My point still stands! Oh, Great Heavens, you infuriate me! Please get rid of the spell, since you and your family invented dark magic! YOUR MAGIC IS SINFUL AND EVIL!" he yelled, stomping away angrily, clearly annoyed by your stubbornness, and slammed your enchanted, huge doors behind him.
"It's just reviving, though. What harm does reviving someone cause? And sinful and evil? Alright, buddy, my magic doesn't have morality... it just is what it is," you muttered, feeling annoyed. He kept complaining about people showing up in heaven almost every day, which was apparently tiring for him. Then, when people used your magic to bring loved ones back, he complained about that too? It didn't make any sense.
While you were deep in thought, your doors suddenly burst open. Your best friend came rushing in, beaming with excitement.
"Oh~ HERE COMES THE GODDESS OF LOVE! WORSHIP ME, AND THERE'S A 50/50 CHANCE YOU WON'T DIE ALONE! Heheh! Y/N! GUESS WHO'S GONNA BE THE HOST OF THIS YEAR'S 500TH ANNIVERSARY GAME!" Koemi cheered, her happiness radiating.
"It's you. I know," you replied, unamused.
"Oh..." Koemi's tone dropped, sounding disappointed by your flat response.
"You could've maybe pretended.. To not know.. Jeez you always like this even when we were mortals." Koemi said annoyed.
"What? I'm stating something that I think is correct based on your reaction Dumbass."
"Okay.. Okay anyway you already know I'm gonna be the one who host this game event, so I've been thinking maybe we can bring the mortals into our little game. Can you guess why?.." Koemi said excitedly.
"We're gonna invite them to tea or something?..." Y/N said, still unimpressed.
Koemi huffed in annoyance. "You've known me since diapers in the mortal world. Jeez, it's like I'm a character introduced in your story mode, but the most forgotten character ever... Anyway, no. I have an idea! So, we do this game event where we pick our mortals-without looking into their past or future-and then make them fight for a single wish! A wish that can grant anything! Like, really anything! They can even join us as a god! What do you think?" Koemi asked, excitement bubbling in her voice. She eagerly awaited Y/N's opinion, even though deep down, she expected something simple-yet sharp-that would probably hurt her feelings.
"Okay that's good." That's it? You fucking piece of shit koemi said in her mind. Well it's fine anyway she's your best friend and she acts like this its fine! Koemi said in her mind, rambling about Y/N and her friendship, lost in her thoughts now.
"Soo.. When will the games begin? Since were gonna pick our own mortals whats the rules? We can pick any mortals right? So some of the gods can just pick someone who' better than everyone else and win the final fight"
Y/N said questioning Koemi ideas if she got a planned for those will use this advantage to just win unfairly in the event.
"Well here are rules of course!" As Koemi make a contract appear out of thin air with her magic,

"bravo.. The goddess of Love and Lust actually thinks for once!"
Koemi's face expresses just 😐. "Sorry. I know you're not the goddess of lust only love.. Just a joke.. Anyway let me see the contract.." Y/N said as she reads it. "Make sure to signed it if you want to join the game!" Koemi said.
"Alright that looks good, I signed it. Did you already have other gods signed it?" Y/N asked
"I did just now-almost all of them have signed it!" Koemi said enthusiastically. "Anyway, I've got to find my mortal! Good wishes and love to you, my dear friend! You won't die alone-"
Before she could finish, Y/N snapped her fingers, and Koemi vanished from the realm with a soft pop.
Y/N let out a sigh, shaking their head with a wry smile. "Good luck with that, Koemi." She muttered to the empty space left behind, the air still crackling with the remnants of the goddess's departure.

"Fuck... I can't find anything in this damn library. I want my people back..." Bakugou muttered as he stood up, the chair creaking as it was pushed by his back. He walked through the empty hallways of what was once a lively and grand castle. Now, it lay in ruins, with rubble scattered around and burned curtains and carpets.
"Goddamn it... Why couldn't I just... protect them? They played dirty with me. I've searched through every book, but not one is related to dark magic..." Bakugou sighed, his eyebrows furrowing deeper, his expression a mix of frustration and sadness.
He stopped in front of a large mirror in the long, desolate hallway, gazing at the scars and burn marks that littered his body. He stared at his reflection, seeing someone tired and stressed-every word in the definition of exhaustion and depression. Once a great king, now... someone entirely useless.
"I should leave this place... The food here is stale. I can't survive another day without eating properly." Bakugou packed quickly, determined to leave the place he once called home, vowing not to return until he could restore honor and bring back the souls and bodies of his people.
As he ventured deeper into the woods, he heard a rustle in the bushes behind him. He gripped his axe, ready for anything, but kept walking forward.
"WAH! GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!" A creature with purple balls for a head leapt out at him. Bakugou swung his axe, purposely missing, the blade landing beside the creature.
"OH SHIT!-YOU! OUH MY GAWD-Y-Y-YOUR MAJESTY! UH, UH... SORRY! I THOUGHT YOU WERE THAT HOMELESS MAN WHO STOLE MY SILVER COINS, SIR!" The creature immediately dropped to his knees and bowed before Bakugou.
"Tch..." Bakugou scoffed, placing his axe back on his shoulder as he continued his journey.
"Mineta, buddy! You done yet? Did you kill that homeless man? It's getting dark-Oh! Hey, stranger. Did my buddy scare ya? Sorry, dude!" A yellow-haired man walked into the scene just as Bakugou was about to head toward the nearby town, which seemed to be having a festival.
Bakugou walked past the two boys toward the town. As he entered through the open gates, he noticed people celebrating. Decorations hung from house to house, and in the middle of the town stood a statue of someone, though Bakugou couldn't really see it due to the crowd. He made his way around the large crowd and headed for the food area.
"Ah! Hello, young man! Would you like to buy some bread? I've got all types-never old, only fresh!" the bread seller joyfully exclaimed.
Bakugou remained quiet as he picked a freshly baked loaf.
"Young man, I'm guessing you're not from around here, hmm?" the man asked.
Bakugou nodded. "What are you people celebrating?" he asked, his tone curious but still rough.
"Ah! We're celebrating our goddess, Koemi Ramírez.-the goddess of love. She lived in this town 500 years ago, but she left on a journey to gain more power and to help the people here. That's all I know... If you want to kno-"
Bakugou left, placing a block of gold on the man's counter before he could finish. He moved on to another food stall, buying more food. He didn't know exactly where he was heading after leaving, but his goal remained clear: to find a dark magic user or learn dark magic himself.
"Hey, well if it isn't the Goated Man! Hey, uh... can I get some bread?" the yellow-haired man asked, but was immediately cut off.
"Denki, you didn't help with the festival decorations, or anything really... No aid, no gain for you. Wait... is that how the kids say it these days? Hm... Anyway, no, get outta here," the bread seller replied.
"Can you at least tell me who that was? I bumped into him once near the woods after Mineta lost his coins because of a homeless man. He looks pretty tough! Is he a royal?" Denki asked.
"No idea, well just ask him. Anyway, move along, you rogue thief. Heh!" the bread seller laughed.
Denki rolled his eyes playfully and followed the man with ash-blonde hair.
"Hey! Your Majesty!" Bakugou ignored the sudden yelling behind him-on purpose.
"Can't you hear me?! Hey!!..." The footsteps grew closer. "Hey, Your Majesty! Hehe, sorry for interrupting your shopping, but can you please help-wait, hey man! Stop walking past me! Okay! Wait, I have something you're looking for!"
Bakugou stopped in his tracks and looked back at the yellow-haired man. The man pulled out a medium-sized diamond.
"Isn't this yours? Hmm?" the man said.
Bakugou glanced at the diamond, then back at the man's eyes. "Yeah. Get lost."
The man was shocked. He had stolen a precious, medium-sized diamond from him, and those things were very valuable-at least to people like him.
"Please, I'm Denki Kaminari, the Rogue of this town! You can trust me! Tell me what you want! I really need your help!" Denki pleaded with Bakugou.
"Ugh. Find me a dark magic user, or give me a book with dark magic spells."
Denki was stunned. Dark magic... It was ancient and illegal in many towns, cities, and kingdoms. He couldn't find something like that.
"...uh... Hm, I can't find you a dark magic book, but-"
"Ugh, of course..." Bakugou scoffed.
"B-but! I can lead you to someone who knows more about magic. Maybe there's a chance they have a dark magic book or know a user!"
Bakugou glanced at the dunce-faced man.
"Just help me with something... And I'll lead you to the person! Deal?" Offering a hand to Katsuki, Bakugou hesitated. "Fine.. what is it? as they both shook hands.

"Azariel, did you find your mortal yet?" Y/N asked.
"Why do you care? Since you don't care about the mortal world..." Azariel replied, a touch of annoyance in his voice.
Y/N rolled her eyes but then smirked. "Yeah, you're right, dude. I don't really care about the mortal world, even when we were mortals ourselves," Y/N said playfully, trying to annoy Azariel on purpose. Even though she was a goddess, being immortal could get pretty boring fast.
"Sigh... Did you find yours yet?" Azariel asked, referring to Y/N's own mortal puppet.
"Found what?"
"I-no, I hate you. You know exactly what I'm referring to, Y/N," he responded, filled with annoyance.
"Yeah, yeah, no. Not yet at least... I thought there'd be more people using dark magic who are worthy of my attention."
"What about the people who worship you?" Azariel asked.
Y/N stared at him as if he had offered his own beating heart on a plate. Y/N might as well have eaten it.
"Hell no. I don't want more people worshipping me," Y/N said.
Azariel looked shockingly confused. "Wait, what? I thought you-"
"What? You think my family and I invented so many dark spells and stuff because we love being worshipped? That's just racist to us creatures. Plus, some of us actually want to die-some of us are pretty much suicidal," Y/N said.
A portal suddenly appeared in the realm, and animals began to come through: bunnies and deer. Following them was a beautiful woman who emerged from the portal, reminiscent of Snow White but dressed in a more provocative outfit.
"Great entrance, Yui," Y/N said, recognizing the newcomer as Yui, the Goddess of All Animals and Creatures.
"Now that I think about it, why do gods need such sexualized clothes? Even you, Azariel-aren't you supposed to be holy? Why are you wearing a tight-ass corset?" Y/N teased.
"Okay, I-" Azariel started to respond but was cut off.
"Yeah, Azariel, why do you have that? But I have to say, you look stunning in it!" Yui chimed in, her voice gentle.
"Oh, thank you, so I-" Azariel began, but was interrupted by a loud sound coming from another portal. This one was pitch black, almost like Y/N's portals but with a more ominously emo ahh.
"Is the meeting starting yet? I want to go back to sleep," said Death, Y/N's older cousin.
"Hey, Damien, you look edgier than me as always. The meeting hasn't started yet-" Y/N began, but before they could finish, a bunch of portals appeared, each a different color and type of magic. Gods and goddesses began to come through, and the ground of the sanctum shook. Thrones emerged from the ground, forming a circle around a table made of gold, jewels, and crystals.
"Alright! Hello everyone, welcome! Welcome to the Gods' Contest of Valor! You may all sit down on your thrones, of course! I am Koemi Ramí-"
"BOOO! WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE!" a voice interrupted loudly. Sounds like Y/N.
Koemi sighed and continued, "Alright, alright, settle down. As I was saying, I am Koemi Ramírez, the Goddess of Love, and I will be hosting this grand event. We are here to select mortals who will compete for a single wish, one that can grant anything they desire, even the chance to join us as gods."
Another god shouted, "Get on with it! We don't have all day!"
Koemi smiled through her irritation. "Very well. The rules are simple: each of us will select a mortal from the pool of candidates. We won't look into their pasts or futures. The mortals will then face trials designed to test their strength, cunning, and resolve. The one who emerges victorious will earn the grand wish."
A goddess in a shimmering blue gown raised her hand. "Are there any restrictions on what the wish can be?"
Koemi nodded. "No restrictions. Anything goes. The only limit is their imagination. Now, I know everyone here has already selected their mortals-except Y/N!"
Y/N glared at Koemi, who smiled triumphantly, clearly enjoying embarrassing Y/N. "Okay, tomorrow we'll mark our mortals with a gem placed on their chest, close to their heart. It'll be implanted there and visible to other mortals in the competition. Of course, if they're wearing clothes, you won't see it. So, Y/N~ pick your mortal faster or you might get disqualified~ :3"
Y/N groaned and rolled their eyes at Koemi, visibly annoyed. "That's all, folks! Thank you so much-"
Before Koemi could finish, the gods began to disappear in clouds of enchanted colored smoke, leaving behind their magical residue. "Ugh... so disrespectful..." Koemi muttered as she, too, began to depart, leaving only Y/N behind.
"Fuck... I can't seem to find anyone who's good at dark magic, except for my family who's still alive, but I'm too stubborn to support them. Well, it's not mandatory for the mortal to have dark magic as their power; it can be their tendency. Sigh... I really need a strong candidate for this event. I keep losing to the others in past events..."
"Meow~ You gonna pull a Disney Wish song out of your ass?" Y/N's cat, perched atop the throne, meowed.
"What the-dawg, where have you been? And hell no, you know I wouldn't," Y/N replied.
The cat jumped down into Y/N's lap and settled in, purring contentedly. "How long have you been here?" Y/N asked, petting the kitty.
"Purr~ purr~ Hm, since the meeting started," the cat replied. Y/N petted the kitty more roughly, pulling back its fur and causing it to look mildly annoyed.

(Example cuz why not)
"You fucking rascal, I've missed you, buddy. You haven't been visiting me in my realm, always going into the mortal world," Y/N said, clearly annoyed.
"Just find me then! Jeez, woman... I've heard you've been-struggling to find a mortal. STOP PULLING BACK MY FACE, LADY-" the cat protested as Y/N continued to pet him, pulling back his fur. "Ehehe- it looks funny, Anyway what did you say?" Y/N asked "I marked some mortals I found, i think they might be worthy for you" "AWH you FUCKING JUST AGHHH!!"
"STOP PULLING BACK MY FURRR!!!!!" the cat yowled.
Y/N stopped petting him and giggled. "Alright, tell me the ones you marked."
The kitty barfed up a tiny crystal ball onto Y/N's hand and Y/N of course gagged a lil. "Here, just watch them and pick who's worthy!" he said.
As the tiny crystal ball began to shine, it summoned a mirror, revealing on the glass the mortals the kitty had marked.

In an abandoned church, Kaminari said, "Whew-kinda spooky, heh!"
Bakugou rolled his eyes as he scanned the surroundings. Kaminari had mentioned that a buddy of his got lost in the church basement, and when Kaminari was close to finding him, he heard a scream and ran like a coward. So, Bakugou was helping him find his friend.
"So chilly... uhh, right this way! Erm..." Kaminari said, leading Bakugou into the darkness. The only source of light they had was Bakugou's lighter.
"Okay, where the fuck is your rascal? My lighter is running out. Why were you he-" Bakugou started to ask, but before he could finish, someone placed a piece of cloth over his mouth from behind. Kaminari watched with a look of regret in his eyes.
Bakugou struggled and managed to knock the person behind him with his elbow he tried to punch kaminari, but the cloth had some chemicals on it, making Bakugou dizzy. He eventually passed out.
"Ugh... What the fuck." Bakugou looked around. He was chained to a wall, his wrists cuffed. He remembered how Kaminari hadn't helped him and had watched him pass out. Without any of his belongings, Bakugou cursed his decision to team up with the rogue.
The room was cold and bleak, with hard concrete and bricked walls. A set of stairs led up to a closed hatch with a lock. "Urgh... ugh..." Bakugou grunted as he tried his best to break free from the metal cuffs. After a struggle, he managed to get them off and rubbed his wrists.
Bakugou climbed the stairs and, using his strength, managed to force open the hatch. The crimson warrior had no trouble with a simple wooden barrier. As he opened the hatch and climbed up, he was confronted with a horrifying scene.
People were caged up-some of the women were helpless and naked, while some of the men had bruises and cuts on their bodies. Bakugou's concern grew as he walked up to one of the cages. He examined a woman who was curled up facing the wall, seemingly lifeless. As he inspected her, he noticed that her private parts had been brutally torn apart. The woman had an umbilical cord leading up to her arms, indicating a baby had been born, but both the baby and the woman were long gone.
Bakugou's heart raced. What the hell was going on in this place? He needed to find out and put a stop to whatever horrific activities were happening here. Can't believe he made a deal with a person maybe responsible for these people.
The room was filled with caged individuals, and Bakugou noticed a set of stairs in the middle of the room. He was about to ascend them when he heard footsteps. Quickly, he hid at the bottom of the stairs.
A pair of red boots began descending the wooden steps. "Ehe... Denki, thank you so much for tricking THE Crimson Warrior! Haha! I can't believe he fell for your obvious act!" said a man with black hair, an almost shaved beard, green eyes, and a golden coat. To Bakugou's shock, the man was wearing his red cape, a gift from his mother when he was a child.
"Eheh... Yeah..." Denki replied, his tone nervous and regretful.
"What's wrong, kid? You got half of what we earned-aren't you grateful?" the man in the golden coat said.
"What? No, no, sir Gardinier! I-I just... can you please- I-just..." Kaminari stammered, clearly unsure of how to voice his concerns, knowing that Sir Gardinier is a powerful man.
"Spit it out," Gardinier's tone grew ominous.
"Can we bury the people who got caged up in here? I just... I want to pay respect to them. I know they didn't pay their debt on time, but please-" Kaminari's voice quivered, revealing his inner turmoil.
Gardinier's expression darkened, and he stared at Kaminari with cold eyes. "Bury them? They were criminals. They had their chance. They chose their fate."
Kaminari looked down, unable to meet Gardinier's gaze. "I understand, sir. I just... feel it's the right thing to do."
Bakugou, still hidden, clenched his fists. He knew he needed to act quickly. Gardinier and Kaminari's conversation had revealed the depth of their cruelty and the true nature of their scheme. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, Bakugou planned to intervene and put a stop to their vile activities.
"Check on the crimson guy. I don't want to speak of this again," Gardinier ordered.
Kaminari, squeezing his way through the cramped space of the cages, approached the hatch with a look of horror on his face as he saw the lifeless forms of the people inside. He was shocked to see Bakugou had broken free.
"Denki! What's taking you so long? Open the hatch, I'm not hearing a cree-AGH! WHAT?! ERGH!" Gardinier's voice turned to panic as Bakugou pinned him down onto the hard wooden floor.
"ERUGH! You bastard! Get off me!" Gardinier yelled, struggling as Bakugou punched and pushed him onto the floor.
"SOLDIERS! HELP! URGH!" Gardinier shouted in desperation, but before he could call for help, he felt a sharp pain.
In a sudden twist of fate, Denki appeared, his hands gripping a bloodied sword. With a grim expression, he swung the sword with precision. Gardinier's head rolled onto the floor, his body collapsing as blood pooled around him. The crimson warrior's fierce struggle had come to an end, and Denki, though visibly distressed, stood over the fallen villain, having taken a dark step to ensure justice was served.
"Why... why did you help me?" Bakugou asked, his crimson eyes still burning with anger.
"I... I just wanted to help. I-" Kaminari began, but his voice faltered under the weight of his guilt and fear.
"SIR GARDINIER! WHERE ARE YOU? SIR!" A voice called out urgently from outside the room.
Bakugou's eyes narrowed as he glanced toward the sound. "We don't have much time. If more of them come, we'll be in serious trouble. Why did you really help me? What's your angle?"
Kaminari, visibly shaken, took a deep breath. "I... I couldn't stand what was happening here. I knew I made a mistake helping Gardinier, and I wanted to fix it. I just... I wanted to make things right, even if it meant risking my own life."
Bakugou's expression softened slightly, though his anger remained. "Well, you've got a lot to make up for. But right now, we need to get out of here before more of them show up. Can you help me free these people?"
Kaminari nodded, his resolve firm despite the fear. "Yes. Let's get them out of here."
Together, they moved swiftly to unlock the cages, working to free the imprisoned individuals as quickly as possible. The sound of approaching footsteps grew louder, heightening their urgency to escape and ensure the safety of those they had rescued.
As Bakugou and Kaminari worked to free the captives, the distant sound of heavy, booted footsteps grew louder.
"Move faster!" Bakugou barked, his fingers working furiously to unlock the last of the cages. The freed captives, though disoriented, began to escape towards the exit.
The heavy door to the room crashed open, and a squad of armored soldiers stormed in, their weapons ready. Bakugou's eyes blazed with a fierce intensity.
"Looks like we've got company," he growled, grabbing a heavy iron bar from the corner. Kaminari, his sword stained with blood, braced himself.
The soldiers charged, but Bakugou met them head-on with a brutal ferocity. He swung the iron bar with bone-crushing force, his blows landing with sickening thuds. The first wave of soldiers fell, their armor caved in and their bodies crumpled under his relentless assault.
"Come on, then! I'm not done with you!" Bakugou roared, his voice a harsh growl as he smashed another soldier's helmet into his skull. Blood and metal flew, and the floor became slick with gore.
Kaminari, though still rattled, fought alongside Bakugou with a grim determination. He swung his sword in wide, lethal arcs, slicing through armor and flesh with ruthless efficiency. Each strike was precise, severing limbs and opening gaping wounds.
The soldiers fought back with desperation, but Bakugou's rage was unstoppable. He swung the iron bar like a battering ram, crushing ribs and splintering bones. His attacks were unrelenting, each swing a brutal testament to his fury.
"Stay out of my way!" Bakugou shouted, deflecting a soldier's strike with a violent twist of the bar, sending the soldier sprawling. He grabbed another soldier by the throat, lifting him off the ground and slamming him against the wall with a sickening crunch.
Kaminari, his face set in a mask of grim resolve, slashed through the soldiers with cold precision. He drove his sword into the chest of one soldier, twisting it before yanking it out and moving to the next target. His blade was a blur of deadly steel, cutting through the enemy ranks.
The soldiers, overwhelmed by the brutal onslaught, began to falter. Their numbers dwindled as Bakugou and Kaminari pressed their attack. The room was filled with the sounds of violence-metal clashing, screams of agony, and the heavy, thudding blows of Bakugou's iron bar.
One soldier, seeing the carnage and realizing the battle was lost, attempted to flee. Bakugou, with a feral snarl, intercepted him. He hurled the iron bar with deadly accuracy, pinning the soldier to the wall with a sickening thud. The soldier gasped, struggling weakly as Bakugou approached, his eyes cold and merciless.
"You think you can run from me?" Bakugou growled, delivering a final, crushing blow with his fist that ended the soldier's suffering.
Breathing heavily, Bakugou surveyed the aftermath of the battle, the room littered with fallen soldiers and the splattered remains of the once-proud soldiers. He turned to Kaminari, his expression hard but focused.
"Is everyone out? We need to get moving before more show up."
Kaminari, his face smeared with sweat and blood, nodded vigorously. "They're all free. Let's go!"
With a final, contemptuous look at the carnage, Bakugou and Kaminari led the way, guiding the freed prisoners towards the exit. The distant echoes of men of Gardinier and the harsh sounds of their escape faded behind them as they made their way out of the hellish scene.
Bakugou and Kaminari sprinted through the dense forest, the moonlight casting eerie shadows across the underbrush. The night was still, except for the occasional rustle of leaves and the distant calls of nocturnal creatures. Their breaths came in ragged gasps, the adrenaline of the battle still coursing through their veins.
"Keep moving!" Bakugou barked, his voice barely audible over the sounds of their pounding footsteps. The forest was dense and twisted, with gnarled trees reaching out like skeletal fingers. Branches snagged at their clothes, and the undergrowth crunched underfoot.
Kaminari glanced over his shoulder, eyes wide with fear. "Are we clear? Did they follow us?"
"We're far enough away now. Wait... damn it, my stuff," Bakugou said, frustration clear in his voice.
"Oh right... your stuff is-wait, it's with me!" Kaminari said, seemingly nonchalant. Bakugou looked at him, confused, since Kaminari was only carrying a decently large shoulder bag, not a backpack.
Kaminari suddenly pulled out Bakugou's big axe from the bag. Bakugou's eyes widened in shock. "WHAT THE-"
Kaminari grinned, his nervousness barely concealed. "Here! It's from my-just kidding! I didn't actually put it there. I really did grab it before we left."
Bakugou, still stunned, reached for the axe but hesitated as Kaminari's joke sank in. "Seriously, don't mess around like that. We were almost killed back there. I needed this axe!"
Kaminari's smile faltered. "Sorry, man. I didn't mean to add to the stress. I thought it'd be funny, but I see now it wasn't the right time."
Bakugou grabbed the axe, his irritation evident. "Just don't pull crap like that again. We're lucky to be alive.. How'd you pull my axe from that tiny bag?!..."
Kaminari shifted uncomfortably, but tell Bakugou The reason, "So, uh... I'm one of the chosen mortals. By the Goddess of the Stars and Cosmic Guidance. She enchanted my bag, but she didn't tell me what it was for. I figured out that it has infinite storage. I wasn't sure how it worked at first, and I didn't want to bring it up until I was sure I can trust you. I thought it might be useful in a pinch. I just didn't expect it to be this useful."
Bakugou glared at Kaminari, his eyes cold and unforgiving. Kaminari's face was a mix of regret and relief. As Kaminari opened his mouth to speak, Bakugou cut him off.
"I still don't trust you. I don't forgive you for what you've done," Bakugou said, his voice sharp.
Kaminari's head hung low, guilt evident in his posture. "I understand," he mumbled.
"But if you want to keep breathing," Bakugou continued, his tone low and dangerous, "tell me where that person is who knows about dark magic. And give me the rest of my stuff from your infinite bag. Maybe then, I won't kill you right here."
Kaminari nodded quickly, scrambling to retrieve Bakugou's belongings from the enchanted bag. "I-I'll tell you everything I know. I'll lead you to the person Like I promise!" Bakugou took the items from Kaminari, his expression hard. "Lead the way," he said, not bothering to hide the hostility in his voice. "And if you try anything funny, I won't hesitate." Kaminari swallowed hard, nodding vigorously. "Understood. I'll take you there. Just please, let's move before we draw any more attention." as they walked Kaminari leading the Way, Towards the Mysticland of Scales Where dragons is very uncommon there.

"Golden."
What happens when your childhood best friend starts to barge inside your heart and invade all of your thoughts? Will you kick the explosion boy out?... please don't. He's praying that you won't.
Introduction
Warnings: cursing, childhood friends to lovers trope.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Bakugou x reader. Reader has sun quirk, sunshine!reader, and Bakugou is head over heels. Reader is Afro-Latina, Bakugou is also a grunge/emo boy?...)
(I headcannon that Bakugou is Puerto Rican-Japanese and wears hearing aids. And the reader might be a bit of an oc.)
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
You have a sun quirk. Meaning that you have solar powers, and also the abilities of the mythical sun gods?... You didn't really know. It was weird, really. Every time you stepped outside, light surges through your veins. The divine warmth immediately engulfs you. And it's almost as if your soul absorbs the energy of the sun.
That's it! You can feel energy. Everywhere around you is energy. You absorb it, and you exhale it. You can feel it in the very depths of your spirit. Your senses are stronger than normal human beings'. Emotions, thoughts, you can sense it all. The sun gives energy, but it can also drain you.
You're strong. Stupidly powerful, really. But you hold back. Afraid of what might happen if you lose control. You've never used your quirk for more than 30 percent, and that's always been more than enough.
You love your quirk. It makes you feel warm and free. But it makes you feel trapped in your body, like you want to escape this reality and explore the others. It makes you crazy, sometimes. Not knowing if you're dreaming or if this reality is really just confusing you. Being haunted by your nightmares in the dark. It's not psychosis! You think... nah.
You've always been energetic and maybe a bit cuckoo bananas. But everyone is! But that makes you feel upset sometimes, like you feel that you're insane and that no one believes you. But your loved ones constantly reassured you that you're completely normal! Even the voice inside your head comforts you, too! And who oddly sounds like Dr. Doofenshmirtz from-
Anyway, you looked a bit different from your personality. You're a goth, to be honest. Or were you into more edgy and grunge fashion?... Who cares? Not you. You dress however you'd like. You like dark colors. You wear piercings, and you like to wear some jewelry. The Addams family totally didn't inspire you at all-
You were also Afro-Latina? Is that the term they used? You have lovely curly hair, beautiful tan skin, beauty marks scattered on your body, and let's just say that your russet brown eyes shine dark honey in the sun. And there was this certain blonde, hotheaded boy that loves all of that. To him, you resemble the Amazonian warriors. You are badass.
But something itches your soul. You feel warm. Like your heart is swelling with this energy that you can't seem to get rid of. Your brain replays certain memories. And Bakugou Katsuki, your childhood best friend, is stubborn not to leave your mind and heart.
How dare he?...
How. Dare. He?
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Bakugou Katsuki has a powerful explosion quirk. Everyone knows that. He's reckless and good at everything. (His mother's words, not mine.)
You've been best friends since you could remember. Always sticking to each other no matter what. He even made you both red friendship bracelets. And strangely enough, they reminded you of the red string of fate. He totally didn't make them because it was his 5 year old way of marrying you.
Either way, you cherish the gift. Never taking it off as it goes along with the golden sun coin pendant you always wear. The first and only gift from your father.
Katsuki always protected you, holding your hand when you walked together, bullying your bullies, sharing his food, and listening to you whenever you were too shy to speak to anyone else.
He hates physical touch. But that changes when he's with you. Baby Kacchan was always clingy, following you around like a lost puppy and then holding your hand to make sure you don't wander off somewhere.
He thought you both were going to be together forever. He already had it all planned in his head. He was going to marry you, be the best number one hero, get his All Might card signed, and maybe stay friends with the quirkless nerd he calls his friend. Maybe.
It broke him. It broke him entirely when you came crying to him that you had to move back to your home country. When you hugged him, he didn't let go. He refused to let you go. You didn't want him to let you go.
Both of your mothers were deeply saddened. They have been best friends. Your mother could see the way Katsuki cared about you. She never wanted to ruin that. And it hurt her heart when Mitsuki had to pry the blonde off of you at the airport. He threw a fit. Desperately holding your hands and trying to cage you to him, you cried, not wanting to leave him and your friend Izuku.
He was quiet for a month after you left. He didn't yell, didn't try to show off his quirk, and he even didn't even try to start a fight with anyone. You both have known each other since you were newborns. You were both 8 when you left.
He promised never to forget you. And he demanded that you never forget him. When you arrived in your home country, he called you every day. He wrote to you letters, and even sent you small gifts with them from time to time. But one day, you stopped answering. He panicked, not knowing what to do as even his mother had no idea what was going on. And so, you lost touch...
...Until you suddenly arrived back in Japan in your first year of UA. Wow, Y/n. Talk about surprises. Luckily for you, this time, he was making sure that he was going to stick to your side forever. Wait, what?! What do you mean that you don't remember him?! What the fuck?!-

The following is a snippet from Always.
Summary: Bakugo wants to kiss the gloss off her lips.
Tumblr media
Bakugo woke up extra early that morning since he had to get his gauntlets repaired and wanted them back by evening. He held one of his gauntlets under his arm, making his way to the support department to ask Power Loader to fix his gauntlets. Another reason why he came to school early was to study in peace. Tutoring his friends made him want to rip out his hair with how stupid they could be sometimes.
Unknown to him, a certain silver-eyed girl had the same plans. Sort of. Yoshiko sat on her usual seat in the empty classroom, math textbook and notebook opened in front of her. She arrived at class early to avoid running into Shinsou. She wasn't sure she wanted to bother looking at him just yet. And then there was Bakugo.
She couldn't get the way he gently held her out of her mind. Just thinking about it made her insides a mush again. She rarely cried in front of anyone. She refused to let her tears out. But when Bakugo suddenly pulled her into him, she couldn't hold back her tears anymore. He was so comforting.
She started daydreaming about his handsome face again, his maroon eyes, fluffy and spiky hair, and his delicate touch that wiped her eyes. Yoshiko grumbled to herself when she realised she'd begun daydreaming instead of focusing on the books in front of her, willing her heart to calm down.
He's so stupid. She aggressively jotted down formulas. Who does he think he is, making my heart race like that. Not that I'll let it happen again. He can't keep making me feel like that.
Yoshiko had moved on from thoughts of Bakugo and finally focused on her work, going along with the flow of the study session. That's until the boy she was daydreaming about a few seconds ago decided to show up. She felt the desk behind her shift and glanced back to see Bakugo. She gave him a blank look, expressions neutral.
"We havin' a staring challenge now?" Bakugo grimaced, annoyed when she simply stared and said nothing.
"Why are you here so early?"
"Had to get my gauntlet repaired." Bakugo huffed, taking out his math textbook from the bag.
"You're going to study math? I'm doing that too. Maybe we can study together." She said, getting up and turning her chair so it faced his desk.
"Nice try, I 'aint tutoring ya."
"I don't need tutoring." She scoffed, putting her notebook on his desk. Bakugo looked up from the pages he was flipping, taking a quick glance at her face. She looks pretty. She had her hair in two dutch braids, lazily sitting on her chest. He couldn't help but admire how the braid shifted from black to white. Then his eyes lingered on her clear-gloss-coated lips. Oh, God, that shine made him want to devour her lips.
"So, what chapter are you doing?" Yoshiko asked.
"Huh?"
"What chapter are you going to do? Or should I say it in English?" Bakugo rolled his eyes at her sassy attitude.
"Watch your mouth. I'm gonna do the third chapter." Bakugo skipped over to the topic exercise when an idea popped up in his head. "Oi. Let's do this exercise and see who gets the most answers right."
"And what does the winner get." She asked, clicking her pen.
"Free lunch from the loser, which, by the way, is you."
"Uno reverse, bitch. Bring it on."
"Heh."
They two fell into silence, solving the math exercise, doubling-checking every answer twice to make sure they got it right. Yoshiko liked the idea of studying with a challenge. It riled ber up. She also knew Bakugo was the only one with whom she could study like this. Because he, too, like her, had a love for challenges.
Bakugo looked up from his notebook when he heard Yoshiko crack her knuckles, biting her lip, eyes focused on her notebook. He held his pen in his fist, almost crushing it. Why did she have to wear gloss? It was distracting him.
"Why the fuck do you wear that?"
"Wear what?" Yoshiko frowned.
"Gloss." He stated.
"Because I don't want crusty lips like you?" She mocked with a mischievous grin.
"My lips aren't crusty, fuck you."
"Dudeski, the gloss is on my lips, not yours. Why does it bother you?"
"That's exactly why it fucking bothers me. Because it's on your lips." Bakugo said, locking his eyes with hers.
"Uhuh? If you want lipgloss like mine, just say so. I'll buy you one." Yoshiko said, unsure where the conversation was going. Bakugo smirked, leaning forward. Yoshiko was taken aback by this sudden movement.
"Oh, no." He said his voice husky, his nose inches apart from hers. "That's not how I want your lipgloss on my lips."
Yoshiko stared into his eyes in confusion. If he did not want her to buy him the same gloss as she wore, how else was he expecting to get the gloss she used on his lips? Realisation dawned on Yoshiko, and her lips parted in surprise. Did he mean he wanted her gloss on his lips by kissing her?! Was she looking too deep into things, and he actually meant that Yoshiko did not have to buy him a new one and just lend him the one she had in her bag right now?!
Yoshiko's cheeks flushed seven colours of red, her heart soaring up in the skies, but she did not break eye contact. Just when she said she wouldn't let herself feel this way again, he had to go and pull something flirty. Since when did he get so flirtatious? He wasn't like that when we first met, it's so unfair! He wants to tease me? Fine.
Bakugo was going to ask her if the cat got her tongue when, to his surprise, she tilted her head and leaned towards him, their noses now touching. "If you want my gloss by kissing it off me, be my guest, Bakugo Katsuki."
WHAT?! Bakugo internally screamed.
With how close they were now, Yoshiko almost wanted him to kiss her. She felt like her senses were clouded just from being this close to Bakugo as if he were some sort of drug she hadn't tried yet. Flinging her desire to kiss him aside, she continued to fluster him.
"Awh, what's wrong, Katsuki. Scared?" She leaned further into him, their lips dangerously close now. One wrong move, and they'd practically be kissing.
Bakugo didn't bother responding. Not when she was this close. His eyes were half-lidded, ready to push his lips onto hers when he heard the door sliding open.
Yoshiko and Bakugo pulled back at the speed of light and grabbed a book, each covering their faces with it, pretending to study while both flared bright red.
"Oh, hey! Didn't think you two would arrive to class on time." Sero chirped, walking up to the two.
"Mm, yeah." Yoshiko gave out a small response.
"Yes." Bakugo responded.
"You two are acting weird..." Sero said, shocked by how calm the two were. He caught how Bakugo was staring at a blank page, and Yoshiko was holding her math book upside down. "So... are you guys studying?"
"Mhm."
"Yes."
Sero noticed how both of them had red cheeks. He bit the inside of his cheek and looked back and forth between the two, letting out a gasp. "Did I interrupt something?"
"No. Fuck off!" The two yelled in unison.
"So I did walk in on something!" Sero exclaimed, slinging an arm around Bakugo. "Is our Bakugo finally growing up?"
"I will choke you with your own tape." Bakugo threatened.
"Since Bakugo refuses to let me in, mind telling me, Akimitsu?"
"I will help Katsuki choke you with your own tape."

Dynamight's Omega (Part 2 ish)
Author's note: This is just a fluffy piece about the first time BB nests at Bakugou's apartment. It's a very emotional time for the both of them, and I am just obsessed with him being so sweet for her :')
The first time that BB nests at Bakugou’s apartment is a big deal for the both of them. They’ve reached a point in their relationship where they’re starting to spend a few nights a week together. The relationship is getting much more intimate between them as they learn more about each other and explore a more domestic side to their dynamic.
BB shows up to Bakugou’s apartment with her things, and he can’t help but notice she’s carrying an extra bag as he lets her in. She toes off her shoes before pulling him in for a kiss, his hands landing on her waist as she wraps her arms around his neck. The kiss is unhurried, the two of them happy to be in each other’s presence again. He tugs on her bottom lip playfully, canines poking her before he’s pulling back and she’s resting her head on his chest as they hold each other close. They pull away after a few minutes, only after he steals a few more kisses from her.
Red dusts her cheeks as her eyes take in the bags still on the floor, noting that Katsuki was staring at them as well. “I, um, brought a little extra with me so that I could..uh…” Her voice is tiny as she looks up at the blonde alpha in front of her. He’s watching her intently, hands rubbing up and down her sides to encourage her to speak. “I mean-is it okay if I nest in your room?” The words are quiet, and Bakugou finds his brain shutting down at the question.
Never in his 20-something years had he imagined an omega would feel comfortable enough, safe enough, to nest in his home. His personality has always been a bit on the harsher side, and although he does soften up for omegas, he’s always found that his general demeanor scares them off. He’s had a few flings in the past, but none of those ever turned into anything serious. Of course, he dreamed of courting and mating an omega, but he never believed it would actually come true for him. He always figured he would remain too intimidating for a proper omega, and the thought hurt him. As an alpha, he’s always had the strong urge to protect and care for a mate and to sire pups one day. No one had made him feel quite like the girl in front of him, and he highly doubted no other omega had ever looked at him with so much love in their eyes. He knew she had a rough past, yet she looked at every part of him and never showed an ounce of fear.
“Katsuki?” Her voice draws him out of his head and it’s only now that he realizes her small hands on his arms, “Where’d you go?”
He finally snaps out of it, swallowing the lump in his throat. “I-um-..you know, I-” He takes a few breaths to steady himself and calm his racing heart before he’s speaking again. “Of course you can, take whatever you need, okay?”
His omega grins, standing up on her toes to plant an excited kiss to his lips before she’s pulling away and grabbing her bags. “I’ll be gone for a while, please knock if you need anything.” She’s gone within seconds, shooting the words over her shoulder as she hurries to the bedroom.
Bakugou watches her leave, telling her to take all the time she needs before he’s all but running to grab a beer in an attempt to calm his nerves. He’s overrun with so many emotions he goes as far as to text Kirishima just to get it out of his system.  He doesn’t know what to do with himself. His girl is nesting. In his apartment. In his bed. His alpha is so proud that his girl wants to share this experience with him, but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t freaking out just a little bit.
Meanwhile BB shuts the bedroom door behind her, setting out the stuff she had packed from her apartment as well as rummaging through Bakugou’s bedroom. She pulls some of his clothes out from their storage, as well as a spare blanket that held his scent. She lays everything out in front of her and fully loses herself to her omega as she gets to work.
She comes out after a good hour and a half of work, making sure everything was to her liking one last time before deciding it was final. She pads out to the living room, finding Bakugou out on the balcony, phone to his ear and his second beer in his opposite hand. He hangs up without warning the second he hears the sliding door, setting the bottle down and turning towards his girl. “Find everything you need?”
She nods, grinning up at him. “More than enough. Thank you, Kats.”
“Course, you let me know if you ever need anything else, alright? I’ll get you whatever you need.”
She’s quiet for a beat, reaching for his hand and stepping closer. “Would you like to come see my nest, alpha?”
It’s Bakugou’s turn to nod before he’s following her into his bedroom, her small hand never leaving his. He finds himself nearly choking up as he stands at the foot of the bed, taking in the sight of her nest. His chest feels tight as he inhales the perfect combination of their scents and he notices that she made it big enough to accommodate his larger frame. She drops his hand and kisses his cheek briefly before climbing up on the bed and gesturing for him to join her.
He clears his throat, “Omega, may I enter your nest?” Even if her intentions in wanting him there were perfectly fucking clear, he still wanted to use his manners. He’s been in her nest at her apartment plenty of times, but this was new territory for the both of them. This was the first time she had made a nest that was meant to be for the both of them.
BB is grinning like a fool as she sits in his bed. “Yes, Alpha.” The second the words leave her mouth, Bakugou’s stripping down to his boxers, knowing she prefers skin to skin contact with him, before he’s climbing in and pulling her against him.
She chirps happily as he kisses up her neck before his lips are on hers and she’s sighing into his mouth. To her, Katsuki is passionate and loving and everything she could ever want in an alpha. He makes her feel protected while also trusting her to take care of herself. She’s soon pulling back from him, giggling at the growl he emits from the loss of contact.
“Do you approve of my nest, alpha?” She speaks it gently, albeit a little nervous still.
“It’s perfect, you did perfect.” His voice is raspy with emotion, praises for his girl tumbling past his lips as he tugs her to lay on top of him. “Such a good omega, making such a pretty nest for her alpha. Keeping her alpha comfortable.” He rubs her back as they lay, nosing at her scent glands, his second gender taking over the forefront of his mind. “Take such good care of alpha, make him happy. Perfect omega.” His canines ache to be sinking into her neck, wanting to keep this girl all for himself. He indulges himself just a bit as he grazes them against her neck and BB is an absolute mess at the praise, her omega making her bare her neck to him in submission. It was a big deal for her to submit to an alpha so willingly. This is the first time she’s ever allowed herself to get this close to one. Growing up, she didn’t have the most stable home life, and she witnessed her own dam get put into too many dangerous situations. As an adult, BB wasn’t quite as scared, but she remained very cautious. Although her omega always begged to be mated, she was in no rush to commit herself to someone and run the risk of being controlled.
With Katsuki, things were different. She found herself shy around him at times, unsure of how he’ll respond to certain things. However, the man has never made her feel anything but safe and supported. He was always reminding her that she had a choice in how things progressed between the two of them, and that should she need anything, to give him a call. She didn’t take him up on that until one late night she had gotten off work and noticed some men that had been outside the shop for a while. She had been keeping an eye on them, and for some reason, it set alarm bells off in her head.  She decided to listen to her instincts and dialed his number. Katsuki had just gotten back from a quick mission, and he didn’t even bother to shower before heading straight to her, telling her to keep him on the phone if she was uncomfortable. He showed up in record time, palms smoking from flying over and his hero suit still covered in grime from the day. He waved at her through the glass door and stood guard as she came out, locking everything up before he walked her home. He took her up to her apartment and left her with a quick forehead kiss and a promise to be safe on his way home.
There was one particular thing about Katsuki that she loved. It was that he never expected anything of her. He was only willing to take what she was willing to give and he never once put pressure on her to be a certain way or give anything up for him.
Bakugou groans at the sight of his girl submitting to him, teasing her a bit as he allows the sharp points to drag up her neck, a shiver running down her spine. He pulls away quickly before his alpha brain gets carried away and he ends up prematurely marking her. His girl just whines a bit when he pulls back, moving to tuck her head at the point between his neck and shoulder.
“Careful, Omega. As pretty of a sight you are like this, my alpha is screaming at me to bite you.” He’s growling halfheartedly through the words. The girl giggles, ignoring the heat that suddenly pricks at her skin from the thought. The two of them were fully content on taking their relationship slow, no rush to mark each other. She’s been having to remind herself of that fact a lot more lately. Katsuki was always so strong and confident in himself, and he was confident in her and their relationship. Unlike other alphas she had been around, he never made her question whether he cared for her or not. Throughout her relationship he had showered her in so much love, and made her a priority. Better yet, he was always telling her that he didn’t want an omega that was going to see her alpha as the end all be all. He’s there to support his mate in their goals and self-growth just as much as they are to support his. He doesn’t expect his omega to give up anything to be with him. He had also expressed to her (during their first argument) that he wants an omega that isn’t afraid to bite back at him. If he’s stepping out of line, he needs his omega to feel comfortable expressing that, to tell him to his face when he needs to tone it down or do something differently. She can’t believe how lucky she is to have this wonderful bond with such a great person. In this cruel world, there are far too many alphas that feel they hold some sort of power over omegas, and they happily abuse it. There was something about Katsuki wanting her to be strong on her own that had her absolutely weak at the knees. If he were to ask her to fully submit to him, she’d do it without a second thought.
The pair are quiet for a few minutes, listening to each other’s steady breathing before she’s pressing kisses to his skin wherever she can reach and nuzzling further into him. “Kay, alpha. Let’s nap now, making our nest was hard work and I’m pooped.”
Bakugou is grinning like an idiot at his girl, shifting to pull the blanket over the bother of them and making sure to hold her close as they doze off together.

sunlight - bakugo x reader pt.3 (last part)
sunlight pt.1 and sunlight pt-2
__
After your date, you and katsuki would always hang out. And he would be by your side everywhere you went, holding your hand no matter what.
Katsuki wanted you to come somewhere with him today, somewhere he likes to be alone.
As he grabbed your hand to help you up to the roof, you looked up in awe to see the most beautiful place to see a sunset.
"Holy shit, this is a crazy view!" You beamed. "Yeah. It's beautiful, like you." he whispered, looking at your face. you smiled and looked back out to the sky.
"Youre probably wondering why I brought you here. I have something to ask you." Katsuki voiced, leaving you to look at him in a confused way. "What do you wanna ask? I mean you've said before that I was smart so I think I'll be able to answer your question!" You chimed, a big smile on your face.
"Can I be your boyfriend? Ya know it's fine if you say no I mean-" "oh my gosh, yes!! I would love if that happened!" You yelled, a huge smile on your face. He pulled you in tight for a hug, something he doesn't usually do.
"I wanted to ask you here because of the way the you can see the sunset, amazing right?" He uttered with a smile on his face. "Mhm!" You hummed.
He held your hand as you put your head on his shoulder, watching the sunset with him is something you never really expected but it's nice. as the sunlight fell beneath the hills, you looked behind to see mina with her camera.
"Mina?! What are you doing here?!" You yelled.
"Whattt?? I just saw the cutest moment ever and now it's recorded so you'll have this to see when you show your kids!" Mina replied. "Mina I swear to God I'm going to kill you!" You chimed. You turned to katsuki with your face red as a tomato. "Uhh! I think i gotta go! I'll text you later, kats" you yelled, giving him a kiss on the cheek before jumping down to the balcony closest to the roof.
as you made it to your room, you hugged the covers. blushing about the thought of him and you together.
*chime*
You picked up your phone to see a video sent by Mina. You of course opened it and watched the moment he asked to be your boyfriend. You smiled at the pixels and saved the video, immediately sending it to your boyfriend.

Chapter 1
Word Counr: 1.5k
Only… Koton forgot her headphones in the classroom. She had begun to search for them in her backpack on the way to get food and find a quiet place to sit and plan, only to discover she left them on her desk. Groaning, she made a U-Turn making her way to 1-A once more but was greeted by a large group of students in the way of her getting to the classroom.
“"Per deos immortales, me interficere." ["By the immortales, I'm going to kill myself.”] Koton sighed, fading into the shadows and reappearing beside Midoriya.
“...-know what a future pro looks like; now move it, extras,” a certain blonde voice chided, sounding irritated. Peeking over as she grabbed her headphones, she noticed it was the spiky haired douchebag that snickered when Midoriya got a question wrong whereas he would get it right. What was his name again? Oh, right, Bakugo. Blasty, she'd refer to him based on his hair and seemingly explosive nature whenever the greenette spoke.
“Tch,” She scoffed, shaking her head in disapproval at Blasty's bold sentiment. Him, a future pro? What a laugh, if anything, Koton was the better future pro and HE was the extra.
“Hah-? Ya got somethin’ to say, Death?” Blasty demanded, glaring towards her.
“Just that you're a moron, but you're making that pretty obvious already,” She replied with a snicker which only pissed him off.
“DO YOU WANNA DIE-?!”
“So this is Class 1-A… I came by to see you guys and what you're made of .. but you just sound like an ass,” a new voice chimed in, making his way to the front as Blasty and Koton turned to face this new unimportant person. “Are all hero course students arrogant?”
“I dunno, are all morons like you this stupid?” Koton sassed back, arms crossing, headphones tight in hand as the newcomer scoffed and threw his gaze towards her.
“Hm.. you all are definitely egotistical. Don't get cocky though.. I, much like many others, applied for the Hero Course but unfortunately we were forced to choose another track. This Sports Festival will also see who's really fit for the Hero course and many of us might transfer in.. and to make room, they'll transfer you out,” The purple haired boy informed, frowning.
“Tch, like they'll transfer me out,” Koton snarled with an eye roll. “Be prepared to put your money where your mouth is and lose, cacas labe. That goes for you as well, Blasty.” [cacas labe = shit stain]
Koton shoved her way through the crowd, headphones on and cutting out the sound of another guy, yelling about he was going to come for her and Bakugou. How childish. Disgraceful.

As the two weeks of intense training went by, Class A was pumped up with excitement as well as dread for the festival. Dread for some students because they were nervous about not standing out, like Kirishima with his Hardening, as if you didn't stand out, the less offers you would get from Pro Heroes.
However, Koton's mind was elsewhere during the training. Koton would sneak away to train in the dark, her mind reeling with ideas on essays and drafts for how to change the Sports Festival for it to be a Pro-Hero only event, often pausing her training to jot down an idea she was particularly fond of. Seriously, U.A. was supposed to be a prestigious hero academy yet the Sports Festival was a huge way for villains to attack the students.
For her actual training, she would wander further from Tokoyami and Dark Shadow. They wouldn't find out how strong her Quirk was yet. No. That way it would catch her classmates off guard and they'd be frozen, unsure of what to do… Well, mostly. Shoji, being extremely suitable for spying, had picked up on Koton's
training sometimes without her knowledge, so Koton had to make sure to take him out one way or another when the time came.
She would not be undermined. No way, not in a million immortal lives would THE Koton be undermined and do the worst thing after death; lose. Ugh, the thought of failure made her sick to her stomach. There was no way she'd embarrass the man who raised her.
Shaking her head, she stopped walking, allowing her classmates to walk ahead to the waiting room. Pressing the palm of her hand to her forehead, she made a small grunt until the nausea faded. Of all times to almost make herself sick, why did it have to be now?
“You're going to make yourself sick doing that, kid,” a much deeper voice chided, shaking his head. Koton looked up, a small smirk growing on her face.
“Nick,” She greeted with a nod and the older man nodded in confirmation.
“Do me proud, mutum asinum [dumb ass],” He told her, digging his knuckles into her skull as she snickered. “I got permission to come out and see ya. Same with Will.”
“Yeah, yeah, don't worry Nicky-boy, I'll be fine and make our home proud,” Koton remarked, playfully pushing the elder's hand away. Nick only chuckled, putting his hand in the pocket of his long black trench coat.
Nick was 5 years older than Koton, standing at 5'10” with a chubby build as well as a baby face that made people believe he wasn't 21. He had shoulder-length faded purple hair, pulled back into half-tail, curved with American 1980s bangs. His eyes were as dark as obsidian, his skin olive toned. If not for his scars of battle, Nick would have considered himself to be attractive. Alas, he did not.
“You better or I'm banning a certain musical from the house,” He teased, chuckling. “Now go, I love you, kiddo.”
She rolled her eyes, shaking her head. “Bye, Nick. Love you too.” She waved him off, turning and walking to Waiting Room #1. Nick chuckled to himself and faded into the shadows, reappearing beside his husband in the crowd, who greeted his love with a kiss to cheek.
In the waiting room, Koton wasn't acknowledged for her late arrival and sat at one of the tables, thinking. Midnight hadn't given more specifics on this damned Festival, only that she'd be the First Years referee, whatever the hell that meant. She closed her eyes, sighing in silence.
This was it. No more hiding her ‘Quirk’. They'd see the real deal… Well, mostly depending on how strong her opponents were. She'd only give them the strength they'd give her. She planned to toy with them. Humiliate them… especially that fuckass blonde. His loud mouth, his cockiness, his arrogance… There was only room in the class for one person with all of that and it'd be her. She'd knock him down a peg… or six. He needed it. Badly.
A small smirk etched its way onto her face at the idea of knocking Blasty down a peg or two. His anger reminded her of a chihuahua or a pomeranian, so knocking his ego down was going to be fun. She'd kill his cocky persona violently and without remorse. Make him see who the real future number one pro would be. He'd be in the 20th or 30th rankings with his rank personality.
A bit later, Iida left and returned, announcing to the class that they had to get their game faces on and that they'd be leaving for the arena soon. Not long after, Todoroki made his way to Midoriya.
“Oh, hey Todoroki,” Midoriya greeted, looking surprised to see him. At the sound of Midoriya's voice, Koton opened her eyes, glaring towards the two boys.
“Midoriya…it's no secret that I'm stronger than you and knowing that you have All Might in your corner, I still plan to beat you,” The cold-spoken male declared, pulling a startled gasp from Midoriya. All Might in Midoriya's corner, huh? She'd investigate that.
“What's with all these declarations of war lately…” Kamniari asked, leaning back in his chair to face the two with a nervous laugh as Kirishima got up walking towards Todoroki, putting a hand on his shoulder.
“Hey man, what's the deal, why are you pickin’ a fight all of a sudden-?” He questioned.
Todoroki pushed Kirishima's hand off of him. “We're not here to be each other's friends.” At least one of these dumbasses had a brain.
“Todoroki.. it's no secret I'm not as strong as you, probably none of us are compared to you and your power,” Midoriya began.
“Whoa, easy, man i think youre being a little hard on yourself- and us,” Kirishima interjected but Midoriya kept going.
“I'll probably not make it past the first round… but just know I'll be aiming for the top too,” He finished, meeting Todoroki’s fierce gaze. The waiting room was filled with a tense silence and Koton couldn't help but revel in it. Oh, this was too good. She'd show them all that she was the best. These pathetic lovers, children of heroes, and rich bitches, and nepo babies would be proved that family lineage isn't everything. She was getting riled up at the idea of destroying them. Gods, this would be good.
Ding!
“Let's go, Class A!” Iida announced, breaking the tension in the air, leading the class out to the arena.
Go time.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!
Featuring Bakugo x OC (Amy) or S/O, This can apply to anybody~. This pose is inspired by Mark Wahlberg's movie Fear (1999), one of the first movies about a guy yandere <3
Bakugo is not only possessive, he is also territorial. Once he gets with you, he is both protective and easily jealous. It's not that he doesn't trust you, it's the other losers who think they can even look your way. This guy is kind of obsessed with you, but he can be the sweetest in his own gruff, aggressive way.
He holds you close into his chest, putting the covers over your shoulders when it's time for bed so that way you don't get cold. He always want you to be comfortable and warm, but he especially wants to engulf you in his warmth. He wants your smell, and he wants you to smell like him too so that way, nobody can even think about trying to get close to you. You're his, together forever.
