Wahlforum zur Jugendbeiratswahl - live aus dem Alten Gasometer Zwickau from Alter Gasometer on Vimeo.

Bis zum 18. Mai haben die Jugendlichen der Stadt noch die Möglichkeit, postalisch ihre Stimme für die diesjährige Jugendbeiratswahl abzugeben. Mit dem bisherigen Verlauf der Stimmabgabe zeigen sich sowohl die Stadtverwaltung als auch der Verein Alter Gasometer e.V. zufrieden. So wurden bis jetzt schon deutlich mehr Stimmen eingereicht, als dies noch vor zwei Jahren der Fall war. Insgesamt sind knapp 7.000 Jugendliche im Alter zwischen 14 und 24 zur Wahl aufgerufen.

Für den 06.05. und 10.05.2021 wurde nun vom Alten Gasometer e.V. jeweils ein moderiertes Wahlforum organisiert, welches über die Videoplattform YouTube auf dem Kanal des Alten Gasometers live verfolgt werden konnte. Dabei hatten die Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten noch einmal die Chance, sich und ihre Ziele für den neu gewählten Jugendbeirat vorzustellen. Den potenziellen Jugendbeiräten, die sich aufstellen lassen haben, konnten dabei über die Chatfunktion des Livestreams Fragen gestellt werden.

Am ersten Termin am Donnerstag standen Aaron Körnich, Karl Ehmke, Finley Meyer, Lauro Weber, und Tommy Nobis „Rede und Antwort“, am darauffolgenden Montag waren dann Senta Schubert, Olivia Tschirsch, Renè Reimann, Sonja Trebeck, Sven Richter und Jacob Weith an der Reihe.

4) Has your cat ever done something that surprised you? Gwynn, despite being stupid, figured out how to open the bedroom door. He also semi-regularly catches shrews that live on our balcony (why do they live on a catinfested balcony when they have a huge backyard all to themselves you ask? Who knows! Unhealthy decisions are being made in the shrew community).

6) Why did you decide to get a cat? I simply cannot remember a time in my life when I did not dream of having a cat. No other animal could compete, even though I never had personal experience with a cat. So when I was 11 a classmate had kittens and I asked my mom for permission. Life has been 200% better ever since she said yes in the end

17) How do you communicate with your cat?

All the ways! I have entire conversations with them, about chores and the world and their cat lives. I blink at them to give polite cat smiles, I hiss and quote their meows back at them. I can read their body language when they're looking for a cozy spot, so I help arange a blanket in their preferred way. We snuggle and establish herd bonds that way. Beau may lick my face cus she's gentle about it I never did clicker training or sth similar though THANK YOU BIL!!! 💜💜💜
