The power move of not one member staying at JYPE, that should say enough about their management.

So, I’m a little late with this epiphany and someone might have already said it. However, since Got7 is no longer part of JYPE, I think they should pull a Taylor Swift and release all the songs composed by them that JYP changed up in their original versions like “Eclipse-JB’s version.” I know that one is already on YouTube, but I’m talking about a full studio version and put it on Spotify/sell it as a single or mini album if possible with their rejected songs (cause I wouldn’t be surprised if JB or one of the others has rejected by JYP songs somewhere.) I’m not entirely sure if they can legally, but if possible they should totally do it.

Unpopular opinion.

**just my 2cents. Its okay to disagree.

I think based on my observation with my bias groups like Wonder Girls (once a wonderful, always a wonderful!), 2pm and 15&, news about yugyeom, jinyoung and mark's bio update are all leading to the same thing. Disbandment. Maybe not officially (look at 2pm, 15& - as far as i am aware, they didnt officially said it but they are as good as gone).

Why I said they are disbanding, officially or not, the idea of being in a separate agencies but still working under the same group is hard. Sohee said the same thing when she left JYP to join BH back in 2013-2014 (couldnt remember) but nothing happened. I also think they said that to mitigate the impact to JYPE's stock price. **She was the one of korean IT Girl (she used to be so influential people said she alone can eat up the whole GG -google it will help) and one of the most popular member in WG (together w sunye - pls google).** Now that I think about it, they did what they did because WG werent officially disband then but my point is, sohee left.

Be that as it may, I do note that there are a few groups that managed to come together despite the odd. Brown Eyed Girls is the only group that I have in mind. Please note that I am not their fans and just a casual listener. But you also see what happened to them. Their last group work was ages ago (pls correct me if i am wrong)

What is clear to me, the fact that *IF* they are sigining with a different agencies, their priority will be their respective solo career path, not the group and its okay. Don't be disheartened (i need to repeat this to myself). We all love to think their relationship is genuine. I do too.

And maybe they will set a precedent for a group against the odd. So who knows.

***I heard jinyoung already started filming for his new drama. Interesting. I wonder if he did his acting under JYPE or BH.

***i also noticed a pattern whenever someone is leaving the company/disbanding. They will treat em like sh!t and serving them the bare minimum (maybe that is just part of the contract- "if you decided not to renew the contract pls let us know 1 year before the expiry, we will treat you like 💩"- who knows?). A contract renewal, despite what everyone think is usually brought up earlier than a month or two (it should be!! i'd like to think for celebrities that really generating their income by selling their body and soul to the entertainment world, would discuss this matter way~ earlier than that) Probably 6 months prior or more - remember papa tuan's tweet? And the fact they discontinue their japan promotion despite doing so well (i'm still bitter about that. Their japan promo is my favourite)

at this point... should i hope they stay with jype or should i hope they don't re-sign and run from them as hard and as far as they can? as a fan, i can only ever be apologetic for how our boys are being treated. i'm so sorry we have let you down. i promise most of us have good intentions. those who harass you only make me feel more apologetic, those so called "fans" are making everything worse, when everything is already difficult. you deserve so much better, and i'm so sorry.

Well, I was going to bed but then I saw that Got7 left JYP. I am so happy for them for being free of that horrible company but I am so sad that they are probably going solo. I hope we can see group stuff too though, like pull a beast/highlight and change their name but work together. Though it seems unlikely judging by how they were talking to different companies. I will stand with them in their solos and support everything they do. I hope they all have a successful debut once everything is said and done.
