She had been observing the boy for some time now. He was one of many orphans left behind after the failed riot on the bridge that connected Piltover and Zaun. Orphaned twice, in fact—his last caregiver had been murdered the previous year, leaving the poor child to fend for himself in the undercity.
Zaun showed no mercy to anyone, and it could be especially cruel to the young. Yet, the way this boy navigated the lanes, slipping past danger without ever being caught, piqued her interest. He had potential. What he needed was someone to guide him, to refine his raw skills and give them purpose.
With this in mind, LeBlanc came up with a simple plan to lure him closer. Disguised as a gang leader, she strolled through the lanes, she was the personification of confidence and danger. She wore a sleek leather jacket, skin-tight black leggings, and thigh-high stiletto boots. Her neck gleamed with silver and gold chains, which matched the earrings dangling from both ears, shimmering with every step.
Stopping at a random food vendor, she ordered something to eat, her movements casual yet calculated. The Matron didn’t need to glance over her shoulder to know the boy was watching her every move. All she had to do now was wait for him to make his.

Coming back from a high of Shimmer was already absolute torture. Coming back from the Hounding mindset, particularly if this had been forced upon you without your consent, was that same torture, but for the recipient an infinite amount of times worse. Jinx could not help but scowl in disgust as she saw the side of Ekko, which she loved so very much, the side, which was hers by right, be replaced by this snivelling, little boy, who claimed to be the real Ekko.
Even when Ekko and her had been children, Jinx could not recall Ekko being such a weak coward, much less a pretentious moraliser. He was as brilliant as her, always a new invention in his bright mind. Most of all, though, Ekko wanted to fight as badly as she did. Jinx remembered them practising a few punching moves, which Vi had taught them. They would drive around in spheres of iron and glass, kicking the pedals as they flipped off the Enforcers, moving too fast for any of them to catch. This Ekko had wanted to fight and tear as much as the Hound did nowadays. This Ekko had let her take the lead, even though they had been too young to even understand what that meant.
Now, she had to deal with this snivelling, shaken newborn of a deer, still wet from the womb, and that thing dared to accuse her of being some immoral beast and how Silco was wrong and ruined the Undercity with Shimmer. Disgraceful. Jinx sneezed in anger. What did Ekko know? He had carved out his own stupid, little territory and flew around Zaun on his precious, little hoverboard, babbling about how he was saving people from their addiction. After all, this was what this whole fiasco had been - an ill-guided attempt at saving people.
Cold, unrelenting blue eyes watched Ekko shiver and sniffle before her, seeing his dead comrades through teary eyes and snot in his mouth and nose. Jinx could detect the sickness rise in Ekko before he fell down on all fours, stomach cramping, body retching as he spewed out vomit and most of the meat, the Hound had just wolved down. Some of the bile landed on her boots, yet Jinx did not even flinch.
"Would you have preferred it if I had killed them?", Jinx asked detached and unimpressed, "They were dead the moment they entered the factory alongside you, Ekko. I merely chose to allow your Hound to come out because you clearly haven't been feeding him. But even if he had been fed, the Chem-Techs would have gored every one of them, should Pow-Pow not get a hold of them first. You were fighting alongside corpses, Boy Saviour. You just didn't know it yet."
Jinx grabbed Ekko by his dreadlocks and forced him on his feet. She spat: "You trespassed into this factory. Not accidentally, even. You planned this. You thought you could just damage Papa's investment and I won't interfere! You are even dumber than you look." She kicked him against the shins, causing Ekko to stumble and fall lengthwise into his puddle of vomit. "The next time, I catch you doing something like this, I am gonna have you Hound out in your little, special secret place and kill the Firelights - women, men and children. Now go home, Boy Saviour, and thank Janna that I am not following you!"
Ever the loyal hound that her Wolver was, it stood its ground in its protectiveness over Jinx, but did not attack. Nor would it until Jinx told it exactly what to do would it act on her order. As such when she put herself into between them, it knew her answer. The hound glanced down at her hand for a second as it felt her hand on it's chest before backing away. The hound still growled at the ChemTanks but it relaxed its body, the intention to kill melting away instantly.
The hand on its chin was enough to capture its full attention again as the hound nodded it's head in compliance. In all the time they'd spent together, and through Ekko's memories, it knew how much Silco mattered to Jinx. Attacking those who worked for Silco would be a bad idea, and would likely earn it punishment. That was the last thing it wanted.
However, the second it calmed down fully, Ekko's body collapsed onto the ground as the hound shimmer finally ran its course. Slowly and painfully his body began to change back into its normal shape, the limbs contorting back into place. His ruined coat heavily seeming so much bigger again, encumbering him. Ekko's voice let out a scream of agony as he too was coming to himself again. Eyes opened wide as the pain faded, only for the memory of what the hound had done to cause an entirely different kind of pain.
"What...did I...?" Once bright purple eyes were, now dark in color. Immediately noted the blood that overtook his hands, which could only mean one thing. Ekko crawled quickly away from Jinx, his legs rubbing against the hard surface of the floor of the factory and covering them in blood. That's when he felt himself bump into something hard, several somethings. "What did you make me do?"
Immediate regret hit as Ekko turned his head to see what is back hit. The sight of seeing his fallen family was enough to cause his whole body to tremble. The memories of what the hound had done, the way it tore into them all with such glee, was enough to make him feel sick. He could feel bile rise up in his throat, more than that the meat he had devoured. As such he got on his hands and knees and instantly vomited, bits of flesh and blood poured out like a never ending fountain.
It was until it stopped coming out that anger riled up. "Their dead...they are all dead..." His voice trembled, fearful of what he was going to tell the rest of the firelights when he returned. If he could get himself to return after this. "You forced me to kill them, why?"

◈ ⇢ @jynxd ⋯ Continued Ask . ❝ Caitlyn and Vi take time to recover at the Kiramman Estate ❞
⊰ ⸻ ⊱ It was a welcome gift to wake up and be able to hear voices again. Her body still ached a bit but she finally back on par a little bit, she was able to sit down with her mother. She didn't have the gemstone, but she knew what Silco was after, she knew the dangers that lay within Zaun. The conversation was a bit sharp, with quite a bit of yelling that left Caitlyn coughing a little, her lungs still recovering from the smoke of the bridge that left her chest sore. But she managed to convince her mother (to her surprise). The walk back to the room was more a state of surprise than acceptance, as she pressed her hand down against her leg and flinched slightly. Spirits, it still hurt, it would take a week or so to heal, and her ears would need time to recover after being busted. But still, she was alive.
At what cost?
She pushed those thoughts away, needing to focus more on her mission. And not just that, but the other mission: Vi's. There was still so much she didn't remember, so much that confused her. Caitlyn wanted to help her piece back together her memories. The idea of losing something so important, just out of reach, must be maddening. There were things she wanted to know too, Jinx being her sister, for example, or what connections she might have. Ekko might be able to help her the most, but Caitlyn wanted to help her in any way she could.
Vi had a distant look in her eyes, as she looked at Vi sitting on the bed and Caitlyn joined her, brushing her hand lightly against her cheek. "It's okay, I just wanted to make sure you were alright," Her forehead pressed lightly against Vi's, and let out a little purr. "Well, I do hope I have a little bit of talent in that area," Caitlyn teased playfully as she opened her eyes to look at Vi.
At the question, Caitlyn let out a sigh as she pulled her head back slightly. "No, it's not you. Or well, she's not very...accepting of zaunites?" Caitlyn paused, not quite sure how to even express this. "But it was more the fact I'm demanding a meeting with the councilors after.... some illegal activity and breaking more than a dozen laws?" Caitlyn waved her hand nonchalantly, not at all bothered by her actions. "Still, I don't regret them, it needed to be done otherwise I wouldn't have the information I needed. But she's not going to kick you out, and even if she tried she has to get through me first," Caitlyn reached for Vi's hand and squeezed it softly.
"You don't have to leave, you deserve better than that,"

[ V ] I'S GEMSTONE INFLUENCE
Just as many people have been affected by the raw gemstones (before Jayce had developed a version that is far more contained and less volatile so it doesn't affect people as the raw versions do), Vi was within the vicinity of an active full gemstone when it exploded. She was within inches of it, and the magic brushed through her body, coursing through her veins and magically altering her perception of the world.
The gemstone attached to Vi's most potent part was her tiger, part of her Vastaya blood that came from her father, whereas Jinx took more after their mother's vastaya line (who is also of Lunari descent). While Vi is featureless in appearance for the most part (besides her hands), she is half vastaya, and it's in her blood. Because of this, the gemstone's power bled into Vi's blood. Vi can't use magic, not like mages or anyone who can wield magic naturally, but it is part of her system now.
Vi's ability stems from her ability to see the souls of other people. However, because she is a Vastaya, that means she can only see people who have vastaya blood in their system. While she can look at someone clearly, she can see the animals around them.
This means she can see all the Zaunites and their predator animals, and the Piltovans and their prey animals. These soul-connected animals react the way their human counterparts do. If someone is lying, she can look at the animal connected to them and find out the truth if they are or not. Their animals react to what the human is doing even if the human counterpart is cloaking their face (like a poker face or smiling).
However, these animals change when they are introduced to shimmer. While the shimmer in the air does not affect the animals, if someone drinks shimmer daily, and is addicted to the substance, the animals become contorted and disfigured. The animal starts to look more monstrous and dangerous than just a normal animal.
Examples: Silco: His animal (using @shimmerbeasts for example) often looks like a far larger leopard seal, towering behind Silco. He Has a large massive fin extending over his back, like a shark, and doesn't just have the normal seal feet, but extra fins like a shark. The seal's eyes are purple, and the seal can open his jaw just like a wide fox yawn, so long it looks very unlike any animal. Jinx: Her animal (again, using @shimmerbeasts as she's my main) looks larger than a normal Ocelot, and her mouth is filled with more than just the normal 4 canine teeth, but these canine teeth extend back along the jaw, overlapping her muzzle. she has a long twisted tongue and pure purple eyes. When she becomes a shimmer-enhanced individual, her ocelot turns to purple fur rather than the normal orange, her front legs of the ocelot become more dinosaur-like, and she sees a fin extending along the back of her back similar to that of Silco's.
This kind of thing extends to anyone who uses shimmer, it changes the way their animal looks more monstrous and bestial rather than normal animals.
If Vi is close to someone, she can literally feel their animals too. Vi can feel her own tiger underneath her hand, she can pet it and feel close to her counterpart, and she can also feel other animals like Caitlyn's Snow Leopard which she can pet, or Ekko's chameleon (example for @jynxd).
Vi can close herself off from this, but it takes a lot of concentration, and when she is in a fight or dealing with her own aggression and emotions, it's too hard to close it off. Most of the time, she doesn't try to anymore, she's learned to cope with it, at this point it's just kind of like everyday weather for Vi. She finds it almost amusing to look at the Piltovan with all these prey animals as her tiger growls threatening at them.

This was another element, Renata Glasc and Silco had in common. They were extremely picky about whom they actually let into their service. Not only because they had their own views on loyalty - Silco saw it as the very foundation of his relationships with others, Renata saw it as another good, which could be bought for the right price -, but they also had specific demands from those working under them.
Renata's gang was like the most complex chemical experiment, known to man. Every added substance was carefully controlled in its amount and quality. Every single drop had its primary functions, and Renata knew how to mix and add everything together to create blends, so vile that you would bleed out of your eyes. Renata knew the strengths and weaknesses of everybody, working for her, and knew exactly in what constellation, they achieved the best results.
Some components needed some prep time to function at their utmost efficiency and quality. Ekko had been one of those components. When Renata had taken the boy in, she had seen the wonderfully strong and nurturing amino acid, he could become if she gave him the right care and treatment. She swiftly went to work: Strengthening Ekko's education, hardening his discipline and correcting his mannerisms until he could mingle with the cream of the crop of Piltover's society.
"Good", Renata said, her mask glowing ominously as her burgundy eyes rooted Ekko to the spot, "I'd expect nothing less of you. Next time, you are on a hunt, clean yourself up afterwards. I do not hire a mad dog to yank on its leash senselessly. I hired a smart man, who in the right dosages can blind my enemies."
As Ekko remarked how he would try to not hurt them too much on the way over, Renata leaned back and commanded strictly: "You shall do no such thing."
They were still her employees. Even if they had messed up and Renata was boiling with ire, she would give them the courtesy to explain themselves. Who knew? Their apology and grovelling may be enough to appease her somewhat and thus lessen the punishment.
Watching Ekko take his leave, Renata leaned back in her thick, richly embroidered burgundy chair. Snapping her gloved fingers, she called her decanter over to her. As the beautiful, syringe-like robot hovered before her, it used its sleek mechanical arms to pull out a glass with a complex winding, metal straw. Its ending perfectly fit in a small, concealed opening of Renata Glasc's mask.
Once the decanter had poured its mistress a warmed-up, honeyed bourbon, Renata leaned forward and took a well-earned sip. Her burgundy eyes regularly flitted towards the door as she waited for Ekko to return with the two saboteurs. However, other than that, she barely moved at all. Her bourbon was almost empty when Ekko announced that he and the employees were coming in.
Upon hearing his words, Renata straightened out her posture and merely demanded: "Come in!"
Ekko stepped in, followed by two siblings with wild, deep orange, almost red hair. They couldn't be much older than him. The brother and sister looked around the office in wonder and awe with a hint of fear sprinkled into their facial expression. Finally, they met Renata's burgundy gaze and greeted her with a stammered: "M-Miss Glasc."
The concoction in her mask boiled as Renata leaned forward and crossed her fingers into one another. She said: "Ekko here told me you have been sabotaging my products. What's your explanation for this?"
As a teen who had turned to the streets at after the loss of everyone he loved, Ekko hadn't turned to shimmer right away. All in one night he had lost everything he ever loved. Benzo, Vander, mylo, claggor, vi, and even Powder. So, for a while he hid himself in the deepest corners of the narrow alleyways. The grief had been too much then, swallowed him hole until it became his entire existence, whether he was conscious or not. Even his sleep wasn't safe as he was constantly plagued with nightmares death and destruction. He wanted his suffering to end but couldn't get himself to do anything about it, until he finally turned to shimmer as his escape.
The shimmer had made an instant impact, not only had the nightmares stopped, so had the hallucinations and memory flashes. It was like a purple fog that tucked away trauma, buried it so deep it wouldn't see the light of day. It was that result that led to his addiction. However, what he discovered was that when the effects wore off, they would always come back and with a vengeance. During those periods Ekko would enter constant panic attacks until he would blackout. His heart always felt like it was being eaten from the inside, the pain sinking its teeth in it...
Eventually he became desperate to get his hands on whatever Shimmer he could find to avoid that, and learned the telltale signs of smallest withdrawal. That was the only thing that could keep it under control, save for the occasional tremors. And so he did everything that was asked him, took jobs, made gadgets for anyone who wanted it. Through that he had built up a reputation, a dependable one at that. Perhaps that was what had drawn Renata to him. His desperation. His use. Either way his life had changed forever since that day.
Renata had taken a boy who was rough around the edges and given him a purpose. The chem baron helped him become a better man by teaching him how to behave and how to act. How to deceive when he needed too. She took care of him, not like Benzo or Vander had, but it was good enough. It was what he needed to straighten himself. Perhaps the biggest gift was that, through her, he was reunited with Powder, who now went by Jinx. Jinx, who had been through it all like him and shared the same pain. Then Jinx helped him further by helping conquer his trauma to a manageable level. Both shaped him into the man he had become.
However, every once in a while, this sophistication he'd been taught slipped in favor of street-like manners. He'd known it had slipped now when Renata voice dipped in a warning tone. "My apologies, Miss Glasc. I'll try not to slip again." Ekko immediately bowed his head as a sign of respect. "Next time I will make sure I come in looking more presentable. Jinx and myself had just finished a hunt, didn't think about it."
Ekko knew how much Renata valued quality of her products. Even he wasn't immune to her ire when he worked her factories at the start. One mess up could get you in trouble depending on severity. This was certainly the case. They'd taken advantage her benevolence, as small as it was, and pushed the wrong buttons by sabotaging the product.
"Yes Ma'am, I'll bring them right away." When she issued the order to bring them in, he didn't bother to hide the grin. The mask hide it well but it could be conveyed through gleam in his fuchsia eyes. Ekko got up out his seat and straightened the collar of his sleeveless coat. "I'll try not to hurt them too much on the way over."
Ekko inhaled a puff of shimmer before taking his leave. This order would be carried about immediately as he was quick to find them. The look in their eyes shifted from that of calm to panic. They knew who Ekko was, just like everyone else here did. They knew how close Ekko was with Renata, so to be approached by him was like being approached by the Baron herself.
"You two, come with me immediately." Ekko's cold tone left no room for argument and yet one dared to look at as if questioning him. His eyes glowed intensely as he clenched his fists. "If you don't come with me willingly, I will make sure to tell Miss Glasc that you refused her summons. You really don't want that."
Luckily they knew better and came with him without a fuss. Ekko stood in back , making sure they wouldn't try to flee. When they stopped at the door, he moved in front of them but kept his eyes firmly on them. "We're coming in." He said through the door before he opened it. "Well, go in now, don't want to keep Miss Glasc waiting, do you?" Ekko waited until they came to follow, locking the door behind them.

Ekko made a point to blend in when he was out and about on the streets of the lanes. He had to make himself look more like those around him, like the addicts. It was the one time he let his veins show. However, he also used a bit of his abilities that his Vastaya blood granted him and changed his hair to a black color. His skin also took a darker tone than his natural, going with the dark lighting.
This was how he looked when he found someone on his way back home. A vastaya clearly, but she was different. The way her skin looked, it reminded him of what his looked like when he wasn't hiding it. His gloved hand ran along the surface of the scales on his ear. Different patterns but it was the same.
He looked around, to make sure none of Silco's men were around, and quickly rushed over to the stranger. "You shouldn't be out here, it's dangerous." He said, already trying to take her out of view. If someone stood out, they disappeared and he knew where to. To Singed. "You must not be from around here, otherwise you would know that."

Even being older than most people she walked by, Neeko was definitely not used to the concrete jungles, she still preferred the ones in Ixtal, made of trees and where she could run free with her Pakaa family and, of course, her dearest Nidalee. Yet, she knew she still had much to learn about the world outside the Oovi Kat island, and so here she was, looking around and taking mental notes of every shiny new thing her yellow eyes focused on.
She felt someone taking a hold of her arm and dragging her away from the busy streets, yellow eyes focused on the new face as she tilted her head slightly, antennas shifting as she inspected him. She sniffed the air a few times before opening a broad smile. "Friend! You're friend! Neeko smells good in you, also Neeko smells something familiar in you, friend smells like Neeko's old friends..." She nods and looks up at him, eyes finally catching a glimpse of scales, a bit different but still similar to her own, and she lights up almost immediately. "Friend is Oovi Kat! Friend is like Neeko! Friend is family!" Neeko didn't even give the poor boy a moment to understand what it meant before she climbed over on his back, tail swishing as she found her balance perched up onto his back, examining his scales closer.

what kiss will you receive?
The Now or Never Kiss
The Last Kiss? No, it's not the last, but the characters don't know that. Death appears imminent — the temperature is rising, the room is filling up with water, the plane is about to hit the ground, the rope they're dangling from is about to break and drop them off the cliff, the room is on fire and the door's locked, the world is coming to an end... The point is, this is no place for unresolved sexual tension. The Not-A-Couple don't want to go out without revealing how they really feel. It's now or never. They kiss. This can also be 'Now or Maybe Never' kiss; one or both are heading into danger, or likely-potential death.

to whom does your heart belong?
your heart belongs to your lover
you were never loved as much as you deserved growing up. your heart catches fire when you feel the love of another now, and when you return that love you do so with the full force of your soul. to you, love is like air, your lungs are begging for it with every beat of your heart. you are passionate to the end, you embody the bones of your ancestors who were buried together. you are just as loved as you are human.

These days, Hounding had become a more well-known aspect of violence in the Undercity, however, it had not lost any of its previous terror. Unfortunately, this also meant that once every while Ekko and Jinx would come across the rare survivors of previous hunts, who fought harder instead of running away as their victims normally did. This was the case here as well: They had cornered a man, who had suddenly spun around and lunged at Ekko. Slashing at his arm with a potato peeler, he had managed to leave a deep, misshapen wound on her wolver's biceps.
The sight of the blood on Ekko's brown skin caused Jinx to release a heinous growl. Nobody harmed her precious hunting dog and got away with it! Nobody! Who did this nobody of a prey think himself to be? Some hero? Some aspirational figure? Oh, Jinx would show him exactly what happened when you thought you could harm what belonged to the Loose Canon.
She left the sideline, she had been preoccupying until then, in a blur of purple and cobalt blue. Before the man even knew what had come over him, Jinx slammed into his body, hands latching onto him, and forced him backwards. Her teeth tore at his cheeks and neck as she bit him over and over. His blood dripped down her chin, sprinkled across her tongue and smeared over her lips. It tasted coppery and tangy.
The man yowled as he backed away, nursing his wounded face and neck. Jinx had deliberately made her bites be nothing but painful, little nips. Not enough to fully tear the flesh and cause you to bleed out, but enough that you would be permanently covered in a polka dot carpet of scars, should you survive. As if Jinx was ever going to let that happen!
The Loose Canon pulled out Pow-Pow and slammed the trigger down. The Gatling gun came to life and completed the polka dot carpet by adding more lethal and deeper holes into the man's belly and sides. His blood splashed out of the wounds like disgusting bubbles in the steaming vents in the darker parts of the Dredge.
Gasping for breath, Jinx slung the Gatling gun over her shoulders and headed across the pool of blood back towards Ekko. Maybe she had underestimated just how much blood she had spilt, maybe she had not watched where she put her steps, however, the ground had become uncannily slippery from their blood bath. Jinx yelped and waved her arms as she tried to keep her balance, however, her body and the additional weight of her weapons were trying to force her to the ground.
However before she could fall, strong, familiar, brown arms caught her in the back and supported her head. Jinx's breath hitched in her throat as she looked up at Ekko, whose fuchsia eyes stared down at her with love only a Hound could possess for its master. Why couldn't Ekko see the perfection in their bond? Why couldn't he see that Jinx had made him the wolver because she knew what was best for him? Why did he have to fight her every step of the way?
She allowed the Hound to help her on her feet and stabilise her. Jinx placed her hands on Ekko's biceps and leaned against his side, peering up lovingly and possessively at her beloved dog. Her heart still raced from the near fall experience. Her skin gleamed with sweat. It took a moment for Jinx to refocus and realise Ekko had asked her something. She pulled away with careful, but steady steps and tenderly patted his arm.
"I am alright, Wolver", Jinx said, "I just need a moment to breathe. What about you?" Her hand brushed over the cut on his arm. "Is that closing up nicely or do you need some extra Shimmer?"
sender slips in their victim's blood but receiver steadies them before they can fall (Jinx for Hound Ekko) from this
Typically when they were on hunts, Jinx rarely seemed to contribute, instead choosing to watch from the sidelines. After all, one of them had to be able to control themselves when Ekko often could not. The hound, of course, knew she enjoyed the sight of him personally taking care of everyone with ease, and with as much as blood-thirst as she would. He could feel as much. And yet every once in a while she indulged, got her hands bloody even without a change.
One had managed to get enough courage to stand up against the hound, as if they had experienced one in the past, and had dared to hurt him. A strong enough hit to cause a deep bleeding wound. Jinx had reacted, almost immediately and had killed them but not without leaving a bloody puddle. One that blended in with the rest that he had made, scattered limbs everywhere.
But there were more to hunt, and the Ekko was quick to forget all about the wound he now had. Especially as he noticed Jinx slip on the blood she walked across. Instincts took over then as his body was quick and long, clawed hands covered in scales caught the loose cannon in his arms. Bright Fuchsia eyes locked onto hers, then. As if to say 'I got you.' It wasn't hard for them to ensnare his attention.
"Are you okay?" He asked in concern. To most it would have come off as a surprised to here him speak in this state. However, now that Ekko and the hound had become nearly one, the ability to speak past the animalistic rage seemed easier now, though mainly when Jinx was concerned. He couldn't help but smile knowing that even before she spoke words, that she was proud of him almost. At the fact that even during the change, Ekko had barely fought it. Even now Ekko was present, no longer fighting off the influence, instead he was seemingly embracing it.
"Be careful, I can't have you falling if you're going to keep up..." @shimmerbeasts

◈ ⇢ @jynxd ⋯ random ask ♡ ⸻ 'Run home, and be glad I'm not following you.' The words Jinx had spoken to Ekko before she left to his own devices reverberating in his mind, never leaving. It only served to worsen the pain and panic he was feeling after she had forced him into his hound state. In that state he killed part of his family in cold blood, and found the idea of going home to Scar impossible. What if he hurt him? What if Jinx was lying and followed anyway? She couldn't put him at risk. As such he chose to go to the one place he knew JInx wouldn't automatically follow. He got on his board and flew across the gate, careful to avoid being spotted until he arrived into the city of piltover. On his way over he made sure to clean off what blood he could, though his nails still contained dry blood underneath as he wandered the streets looking for Caitlyn's home. "Fuck where the hell do you find a big mansion in this place? Dammit, Caitlyn where do you live?" He relieved when he found a gate with the symbol and charged right through, towards the door, pounding on it. "Caitlyn, Vi? It's Ekko...please let me." He tried to hide his panic, but it was clear as day that he was not alright between his shakey voice and Shakey limbs as he glanced around cautiously.
Caitlyn had healed well, she could walk normally once more and back on her feet. Even her hearing was getting better, though she knew it would still take several more weeks to be at peak level. Her fingers rubbed up against her ear, as she sat at the side of her bed and looked over to Vi. They had plenty of rooms and plenty of places, and yet, Caitlyn still offered her bed to her. She deserved to be with someone and she could tell that Vi didn't want to be alone. Perhaps the room felt like a prison to her. Whatever the case, the bed was large enough for the two of them, without invading anyone's personal space.
She stretched her arms upward, the sun had recently gone down but she couldn't sleep. Something in the air swirled with unnerving twists and turns. While she had been quiet, Vi's voice caught her ear. "Can't sleep?" she questioned and Caitlyn shook her head. "No. Something just, feels out of place," Her eyes did a double take, noticing something green streak in the air and she canted her head slightly. She reached for the gun on her table as Vi immediately sat up in the bed, alert and taking a deep breath.
The slam on the door shook through Caitlyn's body as she lifted the gun and heard the shouting. "Ekko?" Both Caitlyn and Vi said at the same time. Caitlyn put the gun down and left down the hall with Vi following behind.
"What happened to disturb the peace at night!" Cassandra stated firmly as Caitlyn was coming down the stairs. "Mum, wait!" Caitlyn said just as Cassandra opened up the door and looked at the bloody mess of Ekko. "Another Stray? Caitlyn Lavender Kiramman?!" Cassandra put her hand up to the bridge of her nose, taking a deep breath as she had to calm herself down. She pulled the night cape around her shoulders looking troubled by his appearance.
Caitlyn took a breath. "Mum, His name is Ekko," Caitlyn stated as she moved around her. Before she could say much else, Caitlyn stared at Ekko's appearance. Tattered clothing covered in blood and she could smell death against his skin. "Ekko?" Caitlyn whispered as Vi growled from behind her.
But before anyone else could say anything Cassandra spoke up. "Caitlyn, I swear… Do not get blood on the furniture," She spoke before turning away and allowing the others to deal with it. She was pretty sure she was about to open a boarding house for Zaunites with what Caitlyn was doing. Caitlyn reached over, taking hold of Ekko's arm and leading him inside. "Ekko, what happened?" Vi growled against her lips, defensive and angered by what happened. Caitlyn pushed the door closed and led Ekko over to the couch. Pristine velvet is made for comfort with gold wood and adornments all around it. She reached for a blanket and dragged it over and then offered for Ekko to sit down.
"Vi, can you stay with him, I'm going to go get something," Caitlyn spoke and Vi nodded as Caitlyn left the room. Vi sat next to Ekko as she started to examine his body, looking for any wounds or damage.

Who are the first 3 people the mun thinks about when asked for blog recommendations? (Vi)
Muse Speaks about the Mun||Accepting.
"Panda, Bli and Scotty", Vi said like a shot, "They are the first three Muns, Miss T would think about when it comes to recommending anybody. I am gonna start with explaining why Scotty first, simply because they are the outlier if we go by fandom." Vi pursed her lips and ruffled a hand through her magenta bangs.
"Scotty - or as their URL on Tumblr says @countlessrealities - has been one of Miss T's oldest roleplaying partners and buddies", Vi explained, "They have been rping together since Miss T's Good Omens' days, so that's at least a couple years by now. During that time, Miss T tried out many different fandoms and muses and Scotty was always by her side. For Miss T, that is a sign of a good friendship.
"On the rp related note, Miss T also just likes how Scotty writes. Even if she does not know much about Rick and Morty, she can appreciate the passion and creativity, Scotty puts into their work. Much like Miss T, Scotty is a storyteller and world builder. Those are traits, she really likes in a writer. And Scotty is very good at depicting the unique quirks - including speech patterns - in their characters. Plus Rick and Morty just create a very unique rping dynamic by being who they are. Sure, getting used to them takes a bit, but you gotta appreciate the nuances, Scotty pulls off."
"Miss T knows Bli, whom you will know as @jynxd, the shortest so her wanting to recommend her says a lot." Vi tsked in bemusement. "Like by Janna, they bonded quickly. Come to think of it: That ain't really a surprise. Miss T and Bli both are incredibly dark in their narrations and muses. They think scarily similar. They basically love to make stuff really bad for the muses in question, which sucks. At the same time, Miss T clearly enjoys bouncing ideas off with them. Bli was the first person to suggest some ideas for Zaun, which Miss T actually did not shut down."
She flexed her fingers and tested the puffer effect of her Atlast gauntlets. Vi admitted: "I can't blame her for it though. Miss T put a lot of work into the way her Zaun affects all of us. She became very protective over it due to this. So the fact that she allowed Bli to suggest things and found them fitting... Again, that just shows that Bli knows what Miss T is going for. Something, she deeply appreciates."
"Outside of that, Miss T also is in awe at Bli's writing. She loves how detailed and varied it is. She adores how layered each of Bli's characters is. My sister has grown ridiculously attached to Bli's Silco, much to my chagrin. I can't fault her for it though. After Miss T got ousted, she very much didn't have a proper Silco for my sister, so the fact that Bli began writing that two-faced asshole makes her very happy. Just as Miss T's Silco clearly has affections for Bli's Jinx. At least, Ekko has his head in the right spot. If he ain't high on Shimmer."
Vi's smile merged into a chuckle as she admitted: "Panda, whom you know as @ferinehuntress, share a history together and that shows a lot. They have been through some quite rough bullshit and they were each other's rocks through some really turbulent times. Those experiences glued them stronger together than most roleplay partners. I ain't exaggerating when I say that Panda is one of Miss T's best friends on this side and they are incredibly close for an online friendship."
Vi's eyes drifted into the distance as she recounted: "Miss T was originally drawn to Panda because of how well she wrote. Her writing style made Miss T really excited, even if back then, she didn't care much for Caitlyn. I am not sure who followed whom first, but Miss T actually allowed me to get to know a Caitlyn. I am not exaggerating when I say that without Panda and her Cupcake, I wouldn't even really be here. Sure, I may have been a muse, but I would have been not nearly as strong as I am nowadays. Plus, Panda got Miss T excited about shipping me and Cait. Which is pretty unusual as she is more a fan of toxic and dark ships."
"Panda's world-building is no small feat", Vi concluded, "They have some of the most creative lore and headcanons the Mun has ever seen. Their Piltover is very much what Miss T envisions nowadays whenever she thinks about Piltover. It ties into her version of Zaun far too well. That amazing world-building is backed up by characters, which are just as complex and nuanced and beautifully constructed. Miss T can talk with Panda about so many creative things and she never gets tired of it."

Her eyes glittered ominously in the dark as Jinx peeled herself out of the shadows. She had ambushed Ekko just outside of the Firelight's headquarters, a whole three months after she had disappeared from view. Ever since her rocket and attack on the council, Zaun was in a rage. The Undercity was preparing itself for a possible retaliatory strike, while also fighting with the now sudden power vacuum created by Silco's death. Jinx's image had started appearing in murals now as certain Undercity folks began to regard her as a potential saviour and figurehead to gather around. Even that brutish bear Sevika had chosen to join her side. One death had bound them stronger together.
None of this mattered in this moment, though. Jinx only had eyes for Ekko. Her wolver had truly believed he could escape her influence and resume living his happy-go-lucky life with the Firelights and that excuse of a lover, he called Scar. No chance! He was hers. Even if Jinx did not remind him of this fact each day, it was his reality, evoked by the hound under his skin and the Shimmer in his veins. Now that the Loose Canon had returned, she expected Ekko to throw himself at her feet and pledge allegiance to her, welcome her home like the hunter she was.
Instead, not only did her hound choose to back away from her, he dared to object to what Jinx wanted of him. "No?", she repeated quietly, "You dare to disagree with my desires? I thought we were past such a simple lecture, Ekko." Her fingers toyed with a vial on her belt. Some Hound's Shimmer for her beloved wolver or for emergencies. "My desires and yours are the same. You want what I want. Caitlyn is the enemy. Deep down, you want her dead like I do. I didn't condition you to think, wolver. I conditioned you to act!"
She stepped closer as Ekko pleaded once more with useless platitudes. As if his presence in the Firelights mattered anymore! Jinx had made him slaughter a whole patrol of them during Ekko's botched invasion of Silco's factory. Her sway over her wolver was so great that old loyalties crumbled to dust. Her hand lifted Ekko's chin and she forced him to meet her gaze as he kneeled on the floor before her.
"The Firelights are inconsequential, Ekko", Jinx revealed, "I could give you the order to kill your entire organisation and with just a vial of Shimmer, you will gladly drench yourself in Scar's innards for me. Your little bargaining chip is worthless as you are not a Firelight anymore. You are my hound. And my hound should gladly want to harm Caitlyn for me."
With a perfidious smile, Jinx forced Ekko's jaws open with her hand, pushing her thumb down hard on his tongue. She smiled in bliss at the feeling of drool on her skin. With the other hand, Jinx pulled out and popped open the Shimmer vial. She held the opening of the glass tube over Ekko's mouth, ready to force-feed him the drug.
"So, what is it gonna be ... Boy Saviour?"
[ disagree ] your muse sternly telling mine ‘ no ‘ . (Jinx and Ekko)
When Jinx initially dropped from the face of the earth, life felt like a living hell for Ekko. Jinx had reintroduced addiction to his life, more than even. Without her, he wouldn't feed that addiction, and as such the withdrawal was unlike any else. This wasn't like the suffering he had experienced with normal shimmer. No, this was far more intense, in the way it made his body convulse in pain. Every part of him felt like he was dying over and over again. Not even Scar, whom had helped him though the process before had been able to provide ease of mind.
It didn’t get any better after; as the hound had been inserting more of itself into his being and secretly beginning a merging process between them. Such thing began to make itself known as Ekko’s personality shifted ever so slightly. A normal calm demeanor was replaced by a violent one, cruel even. He found himself losing his temper far more often and he began to suspect it had something to do with the hound.
Despite all of this Ekko had done everything he could to make life better for himself again, and better for the remaining firelights. Perhaps it was even better now, as Ekko had finally admitted to having been a hound. A task in which had been difficult but he knew with Scar by his side it be possible, and it had been. And so by the time nearly three months had passed, things had finally begun looking up. Save for the intense episodes and visions of violence that would occur. That was until she had returned.
Ekko had woken up somewhere other than the Firelight base. Somewhere colder and darker, yet he could see perfectly as Jinx came into frame. His heart raced when he learned what Jinx wanted from him. Yet the hound, which was so much closer to bonding with him now, felt rabid excitement. It even shared the excitement that she felt at the urge to attack Caitlyn, and he could tell that if he didn't get a hold of it, things would go bad for whom he deemed family, that her wants to overcome his...
"I won't do it, I won't harm the people I care about again, not after last time. Deep down I know you don't want to hurt them either." Ekko was quick to plead his case as he forced himself to back away from her, despite the fact that hound craved to be close to her after all this time. "Do what you want with me, hell I'll even leave the firelights, I'll leave Scar...." Ekko's hands were shaking violently now as he willed himself to turn back to face her, his eyes pleading. He would give up his freedom, for everyone.
Ekko could feel the anger inside him boil at the act of daring to go against Jinx's wishes, to dare to be different. Ekko fell to his knees then, having lost his balance. "Just please stay here, leave Caitlyn and Vi be. It's the enforcers you really want."
