It would make sense because Brooklynn would have gotten a new phone after the island, been all hyped up on Kenji being her boyfriend, and thus made that her passcode. There's no reason to doubt it.

He had his training permit, meaning he was 15, that lines up with all prior evidence, he's got a beard, I'll take it,
