I'd like to thank you first: it's in part because of you I have the confidence to start something as crazy to me as cosplay! I have a few ideas on how to proceed by looking into the different resources you give, but I still have a little question... I'm looking to do a cosplay of Abbacchio, you already gave a lot of advices, but I have no idea what kind of fabric I should use... Can you help me with that? (And the reasoning behind so I don't have to ask for every cosplay...) Thanks in advance!

For Abbacchio, I would recommend black poly-cotton twill. It’s easy to find and work with. It’s also what long coats that aren’t wool tend to be made of.
