today we woke up in brazil to this news: a black woman were working through the quarentine as a maid and had to bring her five year old child to work. her boss sent her to walk the dogs and the woman left her children with her boss. the boy started to cry cause he wanted his mom and the woman gets annoyed by him cause she was really busy doing her nails. so, she PUTS A FIVEYEAROLD KID ALONE in a elevator so he could go to his mom. The boy gets lost in the building and end up in the ninth floor, where he falls on the interspace NINE FLOORS and DIE.
his murder, his mother boss, who is white and hid her face from the papers, paid the bail and gets free. this is brazil. a motherfucker place which sells the ideia of being such a nice country, where everyone is warmful and caring; but in reality are really a place grown by structural racism and violence, with a uneven justice system. we need to make justice to this little boy. it was literally a cold blooded murder and his murder can’t just pay a bail and walk away. HIS LIFE MATTERED!!!! WE ARE NOT GOING TO KEEP IT QUIET ANYMORE
[EDIT: so this case only gets more and more grotesque - the woman apparently pressed the button for the ninth floor after putting the kid in the elevator. and today she (her name is Sarí Gaspar Côrte Real) released an statement “asking for forgiveness” but it was horrendous and ended up with her saying people are online lynching her and everything “”would be clarified in time””, like she was innocent and all. well my statement is: FUCK YOU!!!! YOURE A MONSTER!!!! A MURDERER!!!! WE WILL NOT FORGET AND THIS ONLY A SMALL PIECE OF WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DESERVED!!!!! — i mean, im just so sad. can you guys imagine how sad his mom must be right now? wish i could do more. apparently this petition won’t go nowhere and the link doesn’t work for some people. me desculpe Miguel. você não merecia isso. em um milhão de anos. eu espero com todo meu coração que você esteja bem e em paz, brincando e se divertindo como toda criança merece.]

Today here in Brazil a rich white woman made her maid (black woman) work even tho there is a pandemic happening. The maid who need the job had to go but she didn't have anyone to take care of his son (the school are closed) and took him to the job. While she had to take the dogs out his son stayed in the apartment under the mistress care. The boy started crying asking for his mother. Do you know what she did? She put him in the elevator alone to search for his mother. He got lost and fell from the ninth floor and died.
This is racism. The slavery is still alive.

. . . . . . . #justiceformiguel. The horrible things I had to read and hear people saying here in Brazil "it's not connected to racism, it was a crime but it had nothing to do with racism, why are people so obsessed with racism that they put racism in everything?, Brazil doesn't have racism" and so many other similar ignorant stuff, ugh, it's frustating.
people will do everything to erase racism from the narrative because they don’t want it to be addressed and they certainly don’t want it to be removed

This is so sad #JUSTICEFORMIGUEL
Another black child lost their life in Brazil today.
Miguel, 5 years old, son of a maid who had to take her son to work (in the middle of quarantine), died when he fell from the 9th floor of the building his mother worked on, after the mother’s boss, a rich white women called Sarí Corte Real, put him alone in the elevator to go after his mother who had gone down to walk the dog by order of the same boss.
He fell from a height of 35 meters. From the 5th floor (apartment where the mother works) the boy ended up on the 9th, coincidentally a floor without protection. Miguel, aged 5, died because his mother’s boss was DOING HER NAIL and was too busy to take care of the boy, so she decided to let him go after his mother alone.
The women was arrested, paid a bail of 20k reais and is now free.
JUSTICE FOR MIGUEL
