Black. Lives. Matter. They always have. Don’t be silent. If you have the privilege to speak up, please do so. Do your part. This is going down in history. We all need to do better. Our children deserve a better world, we deserve a better world, and right now I am not proud of “how far we’ve come.” Pay attention. The youth are our hope. Educate your family and friends. This is more than just a one side story; these are human lives. We have forever to go, but we have to promise to use our voices. Just imagine if YOU are afraid, the people in your life who this is actually affecting have to face this every morning when they wake up. Enough is enough.

Show Racism The Red Card:
Runnymede:
Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust:
Stand Up To Racism:
Southall Black Sisters:
SARI (Stand Against Racism and Inequality):
Kick It Out:

 The DLA (Discrimination Law Association):
Institute of Race Relations:
Operation Black Vote:
Petitions and campaigns
Justice for Belly Mujinga:
Belly suffered from an underlying respiratory condition but despite telling her family she “was scared for her life”, her employer decided this was not reasonable grounds to reduce her contact hours and allow her to work behind a protective screen, stop her working directly with passenger flow on Victoria’s concourse or provide her and her colleagues with adequate effective PPE. Govia Thameslink simply stated “PPE for our staff was not required”. Belly was assaulted, namely spat on whilst at work. PPE could have protected her. She should have been provided with it.
Teach British children about the realities of British Imperialism and Colonialism:
By excluding the evils of British Imperialism, along with how members of the African Diaspora contributed to the British nation-state, British children are robbed of understanding how colonialist ideology was implemented. This stunts the growth of racial equality in the UK and hinders the racial esteem of Black British children.
Stop the illegal export of riot equipment to the United States from the UK:
This needs to stop. It has become blatantly clear in the wake of the murder of George Floyd that these weapons are now being used to not only quell peaceful protests but actively incite violence and attack journalists who have clearly identified themselves.

Mobilization. (may 31st, 2020) I’m sure you guys have come across my barrage of reposts and stories about what is actually happening all across america. It no longer comes as surprise to witness all of the extreme violence and injustices that the police department has displayed towards black lives by ripping helpless people out of their cars, tear gassing a pregnant woman, arresting peaceful protesters and using them as an example to instill fear, pulling covid masks off people and shooting their face with pepper spray, shooting a man serving food and leaving his body to rot for 13 hours on the floor. This list goes on and on. How is it possible that we have a system that allows for this type of inhumane behavior towards our own Americans? I thought we were supposed to live under one God? I thought the bible teaches us to treat our neighbors with respect. I’m not even Christian or Catholic, but I still believe in kindness. I want to encourage all of you to do what you can to support the cause whether it’s from donations, making phone calls to politicians, or peacefully and safely attending these protests. You’re going to tell your grandkids about what went down in 2020 and they’re going to ask you what you did. What will your response be? Click the link in my bio, or leave a comment below if you have questions or want to just share your truth. Let’s start talking about this. I know you guys all own a heart and a soul. Thank you for listening. #blacklivesmatter #protestsof2020 #socialjustice #justiceforgeorgefloyd #justiceforamericans #justicefordavidmcatee #endracism #endracismnow (at Pasadena, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CA59T_3DYBd/?igshid=1pfsbi2civp9w

Ok, clearly I don't understand how IGTV works (I've never made a video before). I thought I could add these slides to my last post, but I guess that isn't how it works. ANYWAYS.. Here is a list of charities and organizations you can donate money to, as well as some ways you can "show up" to show your support and solidarity with the African American community (credit: @worry_lines ). They need our help now more than ever. It's easy to feel powerless, and like your single voice will have no impact, but remaining silent only adds to the power of the oppressors. Not everyone can make it to a protest or a rally, but we can make our opinions and support heard with our own hard-earned cash and where our dollars are spent. Money talks. If you're in a financial position to do so, please consider donating. . . . . . . . . . . . . . #blacklivesmatter #alllivesmatter #justiceforgeorgefloyd #justiceforahmaud #justiceforbreonnataylor #justicefordavidmcatee #donate #donatenow #showyoursupport #speakup #silenceisviolence #moneyspeaks #moneytalks #resist #riseup #thinkforyourself #showup https://www.instagram.com/p/CA_BqImD6js/?igshid=1rgnah7qozrii

The NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People)
The NUL (National Urban League)

Petitions and Campaigns
When signing American petitions, you may need American zip codes. These are some you can use:
90015 - LA, California
10001 - NYC, New York
75001 - Dallas, Texas
Justice for George Floyd:
George Floyd was murdered by four Minneapolis police officers.
George was handcuffed and restrained and being completely cooperative when this all went down. The officer put his knee on George’s neck choking him for minutes on minutes while George screamed that he could not breathe. Bystanders beg for the police officer to take his knee off George’s neck, but the officer didn’t listen and continued to choke him.
Official George Floyd Memorial Fund organised by his sister, Philonise Floyd
Louisville Community Bail Fund: the Louisville Community Bail Fund exists to not only bail out folks, but provide post-release support to get them from jail, fed, and to a situation of safety. LCBF also maintains a focus on preventative measures for those targeted by law enforcement and threatened with incarceration. While we work with national networks, we are also one of the only bail funds that rely entirely on support from individuals in our social justice community.
Justice for Ahmuad Arbery:
Ahmuad was taking his morning jog in his neighborhood in Georgia and came a cross a white father and son who shot and killed him for taking a jog. There is video footage of this cold blooded murder but, the father and son who murdered an innocent man are walking free because one of them used to be a cop.
Justice for Breonna Taylor:
Breonna Taylor was an award-winning EMT and model citizen. She loved her family and community. She worked at two hospitals as an essential worker during the pandemic.
One month ago, a division of the Louisville Police Department performed an illegal, unannounced drug raid on her home. Not a single officer announced themselves before ramming down her door and firing 22 shots, shooting Breonna 8 times, killing her.
Not only were the police at the WRONG HOUSE, but the man they were looking for had already been arrested earlier that day.
Justice for David McAtee:
David McAtee was shot and killed by the LMPD and the National Guard just after midnight local time on June 1st at his BBQ stand on the corner of 26th & Broadway in Louisville, Kentucky. He was unarmed when he was shot and his body was left in the street for more than 12 hours after the incident occurred. Those who knew McAtee attested that he was an amazing man and volunteered his time giving meals to his community. Please help bring justice and peace for him and his family by identifying and arresting his killer.
Justice for Emerald Black:
On June 7th, 2019, Emerald Black a pregnant, black woman, and her fiance were pulled over by police officers after coming from a doctors appointment. The reason for being pulled over was for bad registration tags. The officers spoke to Ms. Black's fiance while she stayed in the car. The officers began to order her out of the car. Ms. Black was clearly pregnant and she had let them know that she had just gotten back from a doctors appointment where she was also informed that she was at a high risk for a miscarriage. Despite this, the officers yanked Ms. Black, still in her hospital clothes, and threw her to the ground. They taunted her, piled on top of her, and stomped on her stomach causing her to miscarry. The stomp had also left a shoe mark. Because of the abhorrent attacks done by the police, Ms. Black suffered not only physical, but emotional injuries. She lost her unborn child.
