Y'all! I finally made my first custom content. I made this "Sato" sign for my sim story. It's not perfect but it will do and if I get better then I'll go back and improve it. This picture doesn't show it off too well but it is a 3D mesh!

I used this video from @justasimthing which was perfect for a Blender beginner like me. (thank you @justasimthing !)

what was your inspiration to create your main oc? (pass the question on)

Or a character of your choice, since I know you have a lot!

Currently all of my OC's are sims born in game. However my current TS4 stories centering around the Reagan family started from my gameplay save. At the time I wanted Sims game I could just play and my laptop at the time was having trouble with loading TS3 so I decided to give TS4 a try. I created my Reagan founder Dominic and paired him with Jonny Zest and well there was something lacking and I soon stopped playing.

About a year later I decided to give TS4 another try. I gave Dominic a make over and created Robin who soon became his husband and they had six kids. Their oldest was Riley who soon became a favorite. I made Jackson Malloy and if anyone remembers when they were teenagers they spent a lot of time inside closets XD

They got married and pregnant soon after. They had twins Jonah and Jayden. I fell in love with them. At the time @justasimthing had shared a couple of twins she had shared for download. I had this what if idea running around my head. What if one set of twins fell in love with another set of twins? Thus my Reagan stories were born.

Most of my stories have started with a 'what if' question and I just followed it down the rabbit hole.

Aw, at least he is a happy ghost, mine like to show up red lol. I don’t like when my legacy family start dying though, I keep their ghosts

Angry ghosts are the worst! But I feel the same way - I always have to keep the ghosts on the lot!

Uh, wow, but picking favourites is so hard... I think I’ll go with Gilles, because goblin man just doesn’t get enough love (well, he would, if he woud pay attention to Lily, but that’s another story...).Anyway, here we go:

1. He hates, and I mean HATES! any kind of blue cheese. Both, taste and texture, he finds tormenting more than anything else.

2. He’s a Necromancer who was once burned alive for heresy and revived himself from the dead.

3. In terms of love, romance and sex he’s a very proper and old-fashioned guy. No casual affairs, no meaningless encounters - he’s only in for a lifetime commitment. (though as a Necromancer “til death do us part” might be optional)

4. He can make (male) friends easily and is loyal as such, and expects the same from his friends. He feels most comfortable in a bond of (chosen) brotherhood.

5. He thinks he’s better off to live in solitude and is convinced he would be a burden to others.

I’ll sneakily do the twins, because!

💔 - Neither of them has had one, yet.. (I will add a small spoiler though - for one of them.. someone leaves, suddenly and it takes years for them to meet again)

💑 What are my muse’s requirements for a potential partner?

Hayden: That they don’t need too much from him, because of his illness, he has limits to what he can do. Someone that is happy with evenings at home, in a bed, and gives him time alone when he needs it. 

Rylan: Someone with a quirky sense of humor, that can handle him being a model and what that brings with it. Also, someone who can just be there for him, that one person that takes care of him. 

💝 Does my muse like Valentine’s Day?

They both recently learned this was a thing, their parents never really celebrated it, so it was a bit new to them what it was. Both aim to celebrate it with a possible partner in the future.

“But I…” his hand fell from Braylin’s shirt. “He…oh god.”

Braylin moved from the wall to stand beside his friend. “Did you spike my drink that night?” Even though he’d been told he still hadn’t believed it.

Nodding Matt hugged his arms tight around himself. “You needed to pay. For my sister.” Looking around at all the angry accusatory faces he continued “yes I spiked your drink. I made sure you took the drink I made special for you. I had John give you the next drink. He was wasted so it was easy getting him to do it.” Glancing at Braylin “it’s what you deserved. No good drunk.”

“Did Trebor deserve what you did to him?” he demanded, stepping forward getting into Matt’s face. “Never mind me. Trebor didn’t deserve to fall down a flight of stairs or to have his arm broken. Because of you he might not regain full mobility of his hand.”

Matt’s mouth worked but no sound came out for a moment. “That was an accident. I didn’t mean for him to get hurt.” His eyes lifted “he wouldn’t have gotten hurt if you hadn’t been wasted.”

Terry scoffed, speaking for the first time. “He wouldn’t have been wasted if you hadn’t spiked his drink.” There were grumbles of assent from the others.

“He killed my sister” he called after him “doesn’t that tell you something about the guy?”

Rory turned to face him “if I were you I’d be careful. People can still sue for defamation of character. We only have your word that he killed her. Where’s the proof? Why isn’t he in jail?” He quickly turned, avoiding Matt’s attempt to grab him.

Turning in circles Matt could see the other’s walking away shaking their heads at him. “You need me. I’m the best you have. I can skate circles around all of you.”

“Give it a rest” John advised him moving towards the locker room door. “They all know you’re just in it for the glory not the game. That’s the difference between you and Bray. Bray loves the game. You can see it in his eyes the moment his blades hit the ice. He shared the limelight with everyone because it was for the game. It wasn’t about him.”

“Yeah like I’m going to believe anything you say” Matt sneered his face twisting in disgust “you’re just another junkie.”

Matt’s mouth gaped “you’ve got to be joking. McGavin let you all down. Let the team down. You’re a better team without him.”

“”We’d rather lose as a team than win with you” Terry asserted, frowning heavily at him.

“Oh come on” Matt grabbed the older man’s arm. “What does it matter how you win as long as you do?”

Jerking his arm away scowling. “It matters because everyone has a role to play. Everyone works hard. Everyone deserves the credit for the part they played on the team whether they are the best or grinder. No one wants to ride the skirts of someone like you.”

Watching the man stride away towards the showers Matt scoffed. “He’s jealous. I’m younger and better than him. He’d be better off quitting before he becomes just another has been.” Turning towards the others he found them all resolutely standing with their backs to him. “The way you’re treating me you’d think I was the bad guy. I’m the guy leading us to the championships, not McGavin. I’m not the guy who decided to get high. Maybe you should think about that instead of complaining.”

Slamming his locker shot Mike brushed past Matt. “Even on Bray’s worst days he was a better player than you ever will be.”

His mouth dropping open he turned to Joseph. “I don’t get it. We’re a better team without McGavin.”

Joseph exchanged a worried look with Rory before turning to face Matt. “You’re the only one who shares that opinion.”

“What” he demanded shocked “I thought you were on my side. Didn’t McGavin hurt your cousin? As I recall McGavin pushed him down a flight of stairs. I mean you don’t want to play with someone who does that do you?”

“I’ve had a lot of time to think about what happened that night” Joseph tossed his jersey into his locker. Reaching for his towel he moved towards the showers “I don’t think Braylin intentionally tried to hurt Trebor that night.”

“Who cares about intentions” Matt snapped “he was wasted. He was to blame regardless of his intentions.”

“Yeah I wonder” Joseph mumbled, pushing past him.

A few days later after a big game Matt was undressing in the locker room pleased with his performance. “That was a barnburner if I ever saw one. Did you see how many celly’s I made? Not to mention the breakaways. Man no one can touch me on the ice. I’m fucking fantastic.”

A low rumble of discontent rose among the other players. Terry, an older player tossed his mitts into his locker. “Hockey is a team sport not your personal one man show.”

Other players nodded in agreement. “We’re tired of you taking the biscuit regardless of whether you have a shot or not.”

“It’s not my fault that you’re benders and pylons on the ice” Matt laughed in their faces “you’re all jealous.”

“Jealous my ass” Terry scoffed “with your theatrics on the ice you make it look like we’re at the fucking ice capades instead of a hockey game. We’re the laughing stock of the NHL.”

“Who cares? We’re winning, they’re not” Matt said unconcerned. Smirking all around “we’re winning because of me. I told you I was good. I told you I was better than McGavin ever was.”

Terry slammed his locker shut. “We’re a team not your fucking one man show. No one person wins the game. It’s a group effort.”

“What’s your problem?” Matt demanded getting into the bigger man’s face. “Are you afraid I’m making you look bad? Sorry I’m not the duster you all expected me to be.”

Terry’s hands clenched at his sides “you’re that good ….”

“If Bray was still here you’d be a duster” John pointed out to the rising snickers of the others. “He was all about playing as a team.”

“Yeah I suppose he would be” Matt scoffed, looking the blonde up and down “especially if he let a grinder like you have the biscuit.”

The tension rose as another player joined John in saying “Bray had his faults but he was one of the best.”

Staring at his now empty hands “I don’t know. I’m hoping it’ll help Jonah when he comes home. He’s been through enough. He doesn’t need this too.”

Turning to Hayle “I hate thinking my brother is capable of something like this. It makes me feel sick thinking he could. He needs help if he’s doing this. But I can’t help him if I don’t know what I’m dealing with.”

“Sure,” he followed him outside. Once they were seated Evan pulled out the bag of medications. “I’m hoping you can put me in touch with someone who could tell me what all of this is.” He explained what he thought his brother might have been doing before Jonah was taken. Ending with “this could all be legit. I hope it is.”

Taking the bag from his hands “I’ll ask my son if knows what all of this is and I’ll let you know.” Admirably he was able to contain the growl that was building inside him. ‘This must be very difficult for you to even suspect your brother of doing something like this. What do you plan on doing with the information?”

Into the Depths of Darkness is the continuation of Jonah's story. It will center on Caiden and his investigation. Will he find Jonah? What will be find when he does? These questions and others will be answered in the oncoming story.

Some parts of the story will touch on sensitive subjects and I'll try to give trigger warnings before they post so you can block them.
