I haven’t decided if they’re going to become an oc or just some doodle motivation, but I have seen so many people get really pretty creatures so I am hoping to break that streak and get the freakiest freak you got! Dream goal would be if you pulled out something on the same level as a tailess whip scorpion, (if anyone is even slightly arachnophobic I would not look them up, they are like the “worst” parts of spiders cranked up to 11, otherwise definitely look them up they’re cool as hell)

I was working on art for your fic and it really wasn’t turning out how I wanted it to so I was going to scrap it and start over, however, I realized I should probably share these with you even if I don’t think they’re up to snuff!! Saw someone with this idea and I've been percolating it within my evil mush brain.

What if Susan and George both barely survived and were used as BBI experiments? Waste not, want not, as they say.

For shits and giggles, imagine they were made into smaller toys, like the critters. Doey and his small parents he may or may not know are still alive.

OMG it'd just be @Justabeewithapen's Babysitter program but swapping out Lucas and Bella for Jack's parents!

What would Playtime even turn them into? For some reason my first thought for George is a Bron, just this little dino huffing at the scientists grumpily at every little thing.

I have an AU of my AU i keep poking at on the side where they both survive and they talk playtime into keeping them as prison labor (human surprisingly) in order to stay near their son and his glasses getting busted in the hour is a plot point.

Susan I'm not as sure about, maybe a catbee to stay with the older toys? what if she was made into something like Mrs Delight? Or maybe a mini critter thinking it'd keep her from being able to cause too much extra trouble (it wouldn't) ugghhh so many choices!

Told @justabeewithapen I would upload the little maps I made for myself to figure out where things are in my fic for safe haven and the prison

Level 1 is the lobby to the wardens office and the main part i based the rest on this is all completely made up as far as orientation and layout and how things connect in game

Lower left is a little sketch of what the North block layout was as i imagined it. I'm pretending above it is that round observation area where you first see Yarnaby

safe haven is to the south of everything and the graveyard is to the north

has doey ever lashed out at lucas or bella?

Yes… though it’s never gotten physical.

While he mostly has a control on all the chunks of the boys floating around in there, on days that are particularly tiring or stressful he can lose his grip. Before Bella and Lucas this is when he would pick a corner of the room and mope in monster form (putting all focus on reigning things back in) but he is not allowed to do that anymore! You know how it feels when multiple people are talking to you or around you, feeling like you can’t hear your own thoughts… that but it starts smothering his feelings, jerking his insides around at random. They also tend to amplify how he is already feeling, concentrating it. Things become more vivid, every feeling, thought, mental image. It’s something he has to grit his teeth and try to ride out, using as much energy as possible to keep the turmoil inside. This is before Doey fully understands how he was made so he is not only being bombarded with these thoughts and feelings, but they all add up to something incoherent. Frequently contradicting each other, flashbacks for things he has, hasn’t, has, experienced as his mind tries to stitch together a coherent story. It makes it hard to know what is actually happening in the now, to those on the outside he isn’t fully there. I think Anger/Upset comes up frequently both from the stress of trying to just think, alongside the fact those are very very nuanced emotions that are built out of a lot of emotions at once that all sorta combine into yelling.

Bella and Lucas are somewhat used to Doey having energy swings (moments where he is quiet and tired and moments where he is very very enthusiastic and the such) but this is an entirely different beast. By the time either of them actually saw a proper moment(tm) they had grown fairly comfortable with him, and this was a scary awful thing. My guess is that it was probably Bella who saw it, sometime soon after Kip passed and his cork just popped. It was a lot of sobbing before he nearly smashed her with a fist. He was yelling a lot of stuff that didn’t make a lot of sense to her but he almost immediately retreated to the other side of the room after the fact. I think things were hard and scary for the rest of that day, but they figured it out soon after. They really didn’t have much choice but to figure it out, considering the situation. Still, took a bit for her to get a sense for them and how to deal with them (staying out of the way).

Lucas figured it out much faster, he is used to dealing with tantrums (he doesn’t remember why). The longest one of these outbursts has lasted with a critter around is maybe an hour and a half. If left to ride it out at most Doey will start muttering to himself thankfully!

For your Pleasant Playtime AU what do the Doey boys look like? Are they one body? I remember justabeewithapen made an awesome post about them in separate bodies but wasn’t sure if that was canon to the au. Asking for a friend. Smile

Most of the time they're one body and look like the Doey we know the difference in this au is they can separate for short periods looking like smaller Doeys with each of them having a particular color in their design still stand out while the other two boys are faded (Jack is the shortest with yellow as his main color, Kevin middle height with red, and Matthew is the tallest with orange)

They start to get sick when split though and will start to loose the ability to keep themselves solid but also recover very quickly once they merge back together.

When they do split Jack usually keeps the hat, he just likes it.
