I got Spotify premium last week and I immediately used my newfound power to make playlists for my two favourite Hazbin ships eheh enjoy
The radiostatic one is really messy it switches between Vox and Alastor's pov and I didn't really try to match their vibe or anything, it's mostly based on lyrics. Strongely one sided but some songs give a big ex-husbands energy lolol
The radiorose one on the other hand I'm very happy with it I made it match their music style as much as I could eheh. It's mostly platonic even though some songs tend to sound a bit romantic here and there, in my mind it's queer platonic idc <3

is it fair to call people like this "hack writers" if the only way they find a relationship interesting is when it involves pedophilia, incest, cannibalism or necrophilia?
#context: this was in response to a quote about cannibalism in a romantic context#note: this is purely in a writing perspective.#i find the value in romantic cannibalism because it is a interesting metaphor in general#but maybe look at irl examples of cannibalism and you'll realize that it is WAY more complicated#(ex. families in different cultures eating parts of a dead family member to connect them together; even after death)#(or the written historical accounts of slave-owners cannibalizing their slaves & the subsequent trauma for black people related to it)#cannibalism as a metaphor should never be restrained to only romance or love#do you recognize how interesting it can be to use cannibalism as a metaphor for hate? or for literally anything else?#it can be used as a metaphor for control; power; possession; abuse or destroying someone at their very core#im sure it can be used for both simultaneously but i think its limiting to perceive it as 100% romantic#also it limits the discussions of real life cannibalism; both modern and historical#+ is it really impossible to think of a “forbidden relationship” without these 4 subjects?#but the persons' bio starts w/ them being into winc3st (the one who wrote that) so i dont think they give a shit#(sorry for the fuck-ton of tags. it always bothered me as someone who does writing analysis sometimes & get fixated on culture and history)#[just me yapping]#ok to rb#proships dni#tw pedophila mention#tw incest mention#tw necrophillia#racism tw#tw cannibalism#<- these definitely apply here

My bet on if they cave and add nettles to the show, is that they wont have her pop up behind a rock and suddenly exist and already have claimed sheepstealer, but instead theyll do something insane and stupid and have her claim the cannibal or some shit instead

Something in 40k which I find interesting, very funny, and also both realistic but a really weird worlbuilding choice for a setting that is meant to be at least somewhat satirical is that the Imperial Cult of the Imperium of Man is in many ways more tolerant of heterodoxy than the real world Catholic Church

happy 200th anniversary of the death of convict cannibal alexander pearce on today 19th july 2024 :) i made a journey to the penitentiary where he was kept in the days before his execution for the murder of thomas cox, though i learned on the tour that he wouldn't have been executed at the gallows they still have there, as that only started being used in the 1850s, but at a gallows down the road that has since been destroyed.

hello, hello, you all — so... i hope you all are having a great thursday thus far, and i thought i'd bring this up now since i hadn't before; but with ana's zombification comes some noticeable differences to his behavior as well as appearance. because, and don't get me wrong, he was already pale before... but now anastasiy's skin now has this pallor that takes on a sickly look. and it has become necessary for ana to have to apply some concealer to his skin daily to hide the fact that his lips are, indeed, sort of tinged blue + some veins (particularly around his eyes and mouth) can clearly be seen and it definitely isn't the most uhh. natural look, to say the least JSJSJ
now, i'll probably cover more about his behavioral differences later, but one thing is that this man does have these SICK and TWISTED urges to consume human flesh as a zombie would in typical fiction would... so that's lovely / j LMAO nahhh, i'm totally being sarcastic with y'all right now as that is actually horrifying. but anastasiy does try his darndest to resist giving into this temptation because cannibalism is a BIG no-no in society for a reason (because its absolutely terrible and extremely gross) + with... slightly mixed results 😬

finished society of the snow and it was VERY good, like, so genuinely moving and harrowing and touching and so well acted. i am a little confused by the decision NOT to bring up the comparison of eating the dead for survival with the catholic act of communion, ie. the literal imbibing of the body and blood of christ. in real life this was brought up by the survivors, and it was one of the arguments that actually convinced some of the others that it was ok, that they wouldn't be sent to hell, etc. it's also an argument that as a former catholic has always made me understand the survivors actions, in a way? not sure if that makes sense entirely, but i just think it's something that's v humanizing in their debates about this choice—which the movie makes clear was very much a last resort. the survivors are eating shoelaces, they're eating cigarettes, they're eating anything but the obvious because they're just PRAYING they'll be rescued before they have to make that decision. the movie is full of catholic imagery and catholic faith and prayers, so it just seemed odd to not include that? it doesn't in any way lessen my praise of the movie, i'd just be very curious to talk to the screenwriter about this choice.

Sukuna getting to share his love of poetry and traditional bunraku / kabuki plays and his taste in food with somebody. Sukuna getting to write poems again like he used to in the Heian Era. somebody writing haiku about him and he just ".... Mm. " (in a oh i never expected someone to do that for me kind of way) Sukuna getting a little worked up about historical inaccuracies in his legends and someone just smiling about it because they don't mind, they know Sukuna now and love him anyway. Sukuna cooking for somebody that appreciates it and the effort that went into the cooking to make it palatable for a human. I'm very emotional about Sukuna getting to share what he loves and values with others without getting ridiculed for who he is or cut off by disgust. Sukuna getting to be who he is without someone trying to change that. Sukuna living life. Sukuna liking the modern era because he never had anybody in the old world to share these things with besides Uraume in the latter half of his life, after he became the God that he is, and we don't even know if that much is true. I'm so emo.

#tav yeric#astarion#bg3#started rambling about yeric in the tags couldn’t stop lol#yeric is pretty well adjusted for a guy who’s been living in the woods alone for a decade#he is generally really reserved and quiet#but off putting stuff just spills from his mouth sometimes#and when he does open up he says things without thinking them through (and that’s on his 8 INT)#also the thing about cannibalism is that yeric got trapped in the mountains with a bunch of travelers when he was 23#and they ended up having to cannibalize some people and eat their dead#Yeric’s partner died and he ate her#this launched the previously mentioned decade long woods isolation#and so yeric has issues around food and hunger#and a deep deep fear of people around him starving to death#so I’m some ways like getting fed on by astarion is genuinely a comfort to him#doesn’t need to worry about astarion being hungry!#he has direct proof that astarion is physically well!#all he has to do is take care of himself and cast lesser restoration and someone else can be sustained just on that! how wonderful!#yeric is also a big acts of service guy so that desire also gets fulfilled by the blood sucking agreement#at the same time#yeric also processed the cannibalism thing in a weird way where his survivors guilt manifested as a desire to be eaten#so while he genuinely does get a lot out of the agreement with astarion it is also triggering to him and does not help at all with#his self worth issues#astarion and yeric have a long talk about this post game - I think their relationship would need a break from the feeding for a while#yeric needs space to be see himself being loved outside of his utility to other people#and also to know that astarion is going to be okay if yeric takes a break from being his personal juicebox for 5 minutes
