Sometimes I think it’s hard to write dialogue for NFL fics that doesn’t seem odd or forced but I can really see Joe and Ja’Marr in your writing. BUT i have a TON of wips rn and i literally keep writing little by little for each because im too obsessed w wanting to finish all of them!!!😔 AND THEN things like last week happened where i get the strongest urge ever to write just about one fic and all my attention is on that one wip 😭 (neglecting the poor others 😾)

so here’s a list of some of the wips i got going on rn: (putting a cut cuz i yap)

1. a joemarr time travel au that has been in the works since october that the wonderful chasedeys came up w and let me write a version of it!!! (she probably doesn’t even remember me asking to write about it cuz it’s been so long 😭😭)

it’s also taking forever because i want it to be multiple chapters and who knew how hard it would be to write the pov’s between the past and the future 😮‍💨😮‍💨 (so this one is most likely going to be my next post because imma put out a couple chapters at different times!!!)

2. a koc/jj smutty Christmas fic ����😼 (I CANT FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out how to write a player/couch dynamic) every time i think im getting the hang out it, i reread it and delete it cuz i hate it😭😭 so that one might take a while!!

3. stef/josh angsty reunion. basically they see each other again, outside of the football field (maybe during offseason or sum??) and they finally talk about everything yk?? just a very emotional fic tho with all the angsty and eventually fluff (and probably smut 😭)

4. another stef/josh EXCEPT it has nothing to do with football and it’s a Hallmark au. like city boy Stefon meets farmer boy Josh out in butt fuck nowhere after Stefon’s plane has to have an emergency landing due to weather or some shit like that. and it’s all the cliches of a Hallmark movie. the small town community, trying to save the local bakery, Stefon not liking Christmas that much, Josh teaching him Christmas is more than just Santa and presents, it’ll even start snowing when the kiss. like i wanna go full out!!

but that ones gonna take a while too cuz it would be fully from scratch and i wouldn’t have anything to go off of (if that makes sense??😭)

5. Joemarr in France during the Paris fashion week!!! this was actually asked by an anon a while ago and i still haven’t finished it😔 (IM SO SORRY ANON!!!😓) but basically it’s them in France together and just up to no good yk?? (plus some smut cuz Ja’marr wouldn’t be able to hold himself back after see Joe’s outfit!!!)

so, I had a dive deep into my notes app and I realised that I actually wrote a decent amount of the final chapter?! like... over 1000 words?!?! which I was NOT expecting at all. it just makes me wonder why I lost motivation, usually if I have a big chunk of something done it just makes me want to finish it even more but gosh, idk 😭 sooooo perhaps I should finally finish it after all these months? 👀 it seems like a tragedy to leave it as is.

anyways, for your commendable bravery of reading an unfinished fic, I now gift to youuuuu (drumroll pleeeeease) the start of the final chapter, so far unseen... until now! enjoy 😌

Chapter 5 - Have I ever told you?

The next couple of days raced by for Bojan. Of course, he spent most of his time simply with Jere enjoying his company, but also getting to know his friends and being taken sightseeing around Finland.

If he was being perfectly honest with himself, a solid (and embarrassing) 70% of the time was spent over-thinking every single interaction and wondering if his sentiments were returned, and how he would even begin to bring it up.

(And if the other 30% was spent stealing glances and touches whenever he could... well. That was no one else's business but his.)

The day of the Tavastia concert was finally upon them, and Bojan had never felt so much anticipation in all his life. He simply could not wait for the atmosphere that he knew would feel like liquid electricity injected straight into his veins, heightened even more when he would step out onto stage with Jere, to a crowd not expecting him.

And yet... something was nagging at the back of Bojan's mind. Because as much as he was looking forward to sharing a stage with Jere - with Käärijä - it was also tainted by the fact he knew that he wore his heart on his sleeve and was as easy to read as a book. Maybe not by Jere himself, (because that man had proved himself to be clueless even at the best of times) but by the hundreds of people watching, and the countless thousands more inevitably watching videos online afterwards.

He knew that the fans were perceptive, and he knew that he didn't trust himself enough to keep his reactions and his goddamn smiles under control whenever he's around Jere, and as much as he might try, he knew there would be absolutely nothing he could do about it. To his eternal annoyance, he was in way too deep.

However, despite his worrying, a part of him really didn't care. It was highly likely that any embarrassing, lovesick moments on his part would be seen as a performance, simply fan-service and nothing more... but that simultaneously filled another part of him with dread and nausea, as he feared that is how Jere himself would view their antics. Playing it up for the crowd. Evoking reactions. Getting people talking.

"Bojan?"

He jumped. Jere was looking straight at him and... oh. He was shirtless. Clearly, Bojan had been too inside his own head to even notice him losing an item of clothing. Great, and now he was staring.

Nope. And I never will 😅 makes me much too uncomfortable (I never read it either). Both because that's just how I am personally and for religious reasons. But I do love writing wholesome romance!

the walk of eurydice: woke up from its dormant stage with a Vengeance. a retelling of orpheus and eurydice where orpheus (named dylan) is a boy from the 80s who's been dead for around 23 years, and eurydice (named thea) is an early 00s girl majoring in classics and entirely dedicated to ballet. the story follows thea as she tries to find a way to bring dylan back to life. reincarnation plot with ghost romance! need i say more

evergreen lung: i should be working on u baby. more a matter of me not being able to prioritise than anything. follows ezra, a girl who died in the local forest and she returns home, alive again, to find out a considerable amount of time has passed. a huge metaphor on being aroace told through being possessed by a sentient forest. there's a radio station and qpr's galore

disasters to sleep through: i should also be working on u baby. follows marilú, a lighthouse keeper, who has to look after her niece while her sister gets a messy divorce. with elements of eldritch and spatial horror, a story of healing your inner child and loving something so much you accidentally cause it harm.

haze dogs: i finally!!! found a good opener for this!!! connor becomes the sacrificial victim of her town haunted by eldritch animals after it is revealed she doesn't die when she's killed. this starts out a battle for power in the formation of cults with her as the divine figure. a story where a girl slowly becomes a monster and is pushed over the edge to bloody consequences.

to feast just like royals: i started writing for this because Why Not and now i... wanna continue. i don't have time for this And Yet. the story of the princess in the tower guarded by a dragon, except the dragon took in the princess gladly and raised her as her own daughter. but come the princess' 15th birthday knights and princes arrive to try and win her hand in marriage, and the princess has no interest in romance at all.

anything at all with the piedad/adam verse: aka the titan generals or greek tragedy! i have to finish pointed north but this is more a case of them always being in my head and me wanting to out them on paper because brrr

hideout: i sorta decided i want to write this in its entirety and post it this year?? i doubt it'll happen but well. this is a rewrite of my first serious attempt at a book, something for my 14yo self. follows a group of kids with control over the elements locked away in an artificial forest (prison), their life turned upside down when a newcomer appears and reveals she has something they want: a way out.

Fenhanders (Fenris, Hawke, and Anders, Dragon Age 2) -- I am a sucker for polycules what can I say. Fenris and Anders are great enemies/rivals to lovers with Hawke being the glue that keeps them all together. Love it.

Pavellan (Dorian Pavus and Lavellan, Dragon Age: Inquisition) -- Dorian is such a sweetheart and Lavellan is my favorite inquisitor (which is why all five of my inkies are Lavellans 😅). I romance Dorian on every run because he's just so sweet.

Last Film: I couldn't even tell you it's been so long since I've seen a movie. I do plan on watching Barbie and FNAF eventually though. Dunno when.

Currently Watching: I still have to finish Shadow and Bone 😅. Also was in the middle of a Heartstopper rewatch and got distracted.

I just finished reading Beastly by Alex Flinn and my percico brain rot is so bad I just can’t stop thinking about it. A Nico who post Bianca never really interacted with Percy or the camp again. Nico sticking to the shadows, doing the things he needs to canonically then dipping. To everyone at camp he’s just a blur they sometimes see in the corner of their eye. He shows up to battles or to save Percy but he’s gone before anyone can talk to him. And Percy’s been watching him mature from the corner of his eye, always a second too late to just get him to stay, and his heart aches.

Then there’s Nico who’s spiteful and hurt still because he never really got closure and still woefully in love with Percy. But he’s mean and thinks he’s unlovable and pushes people away. The closest person he has to him is maybe Hazel but he has so many walls up that there relationship just isn’t what it’s like in canon. And then Nico is still hung up over the way Hades treated him at the start. So even their relationship is strained even though Nico is the hero Hades has always wanted in a son.

But then maybe after the Athena Parthenon Nico is done with social interaction, Will had forced him to stay at camp to recover but he’d left as soon as he was able. A minor god or goddess sends him on a quest and maybe he fails or maybe he just annoys them with how pissy he’s being but they put a curse on him.

“Now you are as ugly on the outside as you believe yourself to be on the inside. Prove yourself lovable and my curse will be lifted.”

The only person he can go to is hades who is furious. His son, whose helped save the world twice has been turned into a beast like the creatures he slays. So he sets up Nico in a nice little brownstone where Nico becomes even more of a recluse.

There’s a scene in the book in which Adrian talks about giving up the name Kyle because it means handsome one, and it’s very funny to me. But i think in the same vein Nico would give up the name Victory ya know? Especially a Nico who’s had such little interaction with other people. This Nico wouldn’t think he was a winner, but I have no clue what he’d name himself.

Anyways Hades sends along a maid, so Nico won’t be entirely alone, Nico doesn’t know it but it’s the god who cursed him, having been forced to attend to his needs by an irate Hades. Maybe we see another familiar face to go in and tutor him or maybe it’s an oc, just someone who takes the role and makes Nico finally open his heart.

And he’s okay with them. He starts to care about them the only people he’s had consistent contact with since Bianca but then Percy Jackson tumbles into his life. Needing a place to lay low or something and Nico(who’s totally pretending to not be Nico) takes him in. Cares about him the way he’s cared for the god and his tutor. And then we get a sweet ending in which Nico saves him from a monster, they kiss and admit their love and Nico returns to how he used to look.

I don’t know, all the logistics are tumbling around in my head and I think itd be such a convoluted story but then I think of all the implications and I wanna cry. Can you imagine the scenes with bob?? Percy learning that Nico a boy he hasn’t spoken to in years is singing his praise to the titan he’d forgotten 😭😭😭 or even Percy being chained up by hades before the river styx. I just imagine Nico who had no clue about his fathers plans coming and saving him, and Percy feels so betrayed and Nico let’s him and then shoves him in the Styx because might as well if Percy’s already down here.

Anyways this isn’t really a prompt but more me needing to get rid of all these thoughts before I start another wip I’ll never finish 😅 maybe I still will but I was very excited by all the possibilities. Any thoughts if I do end up writing it? I love your writing and characterization, got any ideas on who would be his tutor or what he’d change his name to?

Okay, the story idea is quite fascinating. My first thought is that Nico has always been an extrovert who is misunderstood as an introvert due to his own traumas and holdbacks, so being transformed would just play further into that. He would be very low energy and socially starved, which may cause his lashing out at the god who curses him.

As for the tutor, I offer either Aceso or Zelus. The former due to being the goddess of the healing process, and her curse would be a way for Nico to "heal himself", so to speak, and the latter is the god of jealousy and fervor, so him being petty enough to curse Nico but also growing to care for him makes sense (he would also be a good foil to Nico's own negative feelings).

As for the name, I honestly have no idea. From this page on bad name meanings, Damian or Huxley sound appropriate, but renaming is not something I have experience with.

what's childhood trauma au?

So I think I’ve talked about the background of the idea here but not much about what the fic actually is. I’m trying to be mysterious because all I have is an outline and like 400 words and I don’t want to disappoint people by never finishing/publishing it. But I'll talk a bit about the premise and maybe share something from the outline.

the backstory is that my best friend did not remember having any friends growing up until her parents revealed that one of their neighbor kids came over a lot, and her parents found it annoying so they starting telling the other parents that my friend was grounded and couldn't play. Because it was more convenient for them if she was playing quietly alone in her room, I guess. Which, I don’t think I need to say, is incredibly fucked up. After her parents told this story, she remembered some bits and pieces of this, but before her parents brought it up again the entire memory was sort of repressed.

And here is where I’m going to clarify that I’m writing all this with my friend’s full permission bc it sounds kinda fucked up to jump from that to “anyway so now I’m writing a fic about that” 😭 we both have similar attitudes towards most of our trauma which is: humor and fic are really good coping mechanisms actually. So I thought she might enjoy a fic based on this premise (I was already planning to write something incredibly specifically tailored to her tastes for her birthday and it’s hard to get more tailored than this) but because it is a pretty intensive project to just drop on someone I asked if she thought it would be a good idea and she said “yeah you have to write that the author’s note would be so funny.” So here I am though admittedly I think this is too big of a project to actually complete by September and I may need a different idea for this year’s birthday, unless I start posting before I finish which I’m meh on since the outline could still change (but I’ll see how things go once I finish my hospital fic and start focusing more on this).

So, yeah, it’s a fic where Dan and Phil are childhood friends, Dan’s parents drive Phil away, Dan represses the memory, so he doesn’t actually remember Phil as anyone other than that neighbor kid, while Phil remembers being friends and then Dan just suddenly not being there, and Phil assumes it was Dan voluntarily pulling away. The story follows them reuniting in high school.

As you can probably imagine, this wasn’t a one off thing. Dan’s parents just suck. There are a lot of weird fucked up things my parents did to me as a child that I didn’t realize were weird and fucked up until I talked to other people about it. There were many other things I did know were weird and fucked up. Living in that household caused me severe mental health issues, and I still have minor siblings who live with my parents. So, yeah, mainly this fic is about that. I literally made a list of fucked up stories from my childhood and gave them to fictional Dan. Not all of the things that happened in this fic actually happened to me (and a lot of the ones that did are exaggerated in some way) but many did.

I don't have much writing done yet (400 words is an overstatement actually) but I do have it fully outlined, here are some fun notes from my outline document (mostly actually funny even though the piece is actually very angsty because out of context none of the angst makes sense/is angsty/i wrote it in a way that sounds funny even though it is not):

phil has a friend group. they will need names.

lots of chances for gay trauma in gym class. as a treat for my hyperfixation brain i’m going to let them take a weightlifting class. phil seems like the kind of student to leave his PE credit for his senior year and need it to graduate

so okay the bajiharu (baji x sanzu just in case that’s not clear for some reason) wip is currently sitting at 15k and. wtf man 15k ?? i wrote that ?? damn. anyways idk how many of my posts abt it you’ve read but it’s p much a giant character/relationship study of the two. basically bajiharu across the years and timelines. canon compliant too, which sadly means that baji is dead most of the time but oh well. it is VERY angsty (i mean baji is dead that’s where the angst is starting already... and i mean sanzu’s canon life) and uh. i keep describing sanzu dying in nearly every future timeline but i’m having a ton of fun :D also it’s gonna be angst with a happy ending when i’m finished and probably around 30k words. a 30k one-shot. i don’t think i can even chapter it.... welp. accidents happen. yk this was supposed to be a maximum of 5k of bajiharu in the og shin timeline (the one in which he lives and mikey has the accident and ends up dying and stuff) and the final timeline but. uhh. uhm. yeah honestly idk what i did but my brain wouldn’t let go of them so here we are lol

i would summarise the plot of the fic but there hardly is one ?? like it’s just random excerpts from their lives. i mean some of them are like 3k long too and def have plots in and of itself but there’s no greater plot to be summarised 😭

tho what i can say is that they actually are somewhat together in the og timeline and they are.. happily together. they are NOT happy in fact they are miserable but they love each other in a tender way yk. but but they WILL be happy in the final timeline. and happily together too!! i just need them to be happy pls okay thanks. in between baji is dead so not many feelings on his part (😭😭) but sanzu is a miserable wet cat. also i have the most tragic death planned for him in the bonten timeline bc i am a ‘‘weird on-off-ish romance-ish but they don't wanna admit it's that even though it very obviously is and there is so much emotional (and sexual) tension and my god how can they live like this’’ bonten rinzu truther. wowie. and wouldn’t it be really fun if rindou accidentally shot sanzu on a mission gone heavily wrong that ends in sanzu dying in his arms? yeah <3

also!! akashi siblings!! i very much plan on writing abt them too in some timelines. specifically i think i’ll have sanzu move in with senju in the manila timeline before mikey kills him off (i am so excited to write this you don’t know istg) and i’ll have him move back in with takeomi in that one timeline in which izana takes over and naoto & takemichi end up dying in the future bc i hc that senju was shot dead in the past and sanzu has nowhere else to go after mikey’s death (bc he’s actually dead in that future...) so yeah. akashi siblings <3

also in case you wonder what my current 15k cover so far (i’m forcing myself to write chronologically for once bc i really wanna finish this and i’ve got a lot of scenes i’m excited to write i can use to push through the others), it’s the og timeline, the timeline in which draken gets killed by kiyomasa, one of the two following timelines in which draken survives and ends up on death row (i decided to cut one of them bc imo they’re too similar to write abt again), and some past stuff happening before that. which. is not a lot. just now realising how unmuch that is actually wtf it feels like sm more- okay anyways i plan on writing about the bad toman timeline with takemichi as executive, the manila future, bonten future, the future timeline after that with izana, and naoto & takemichi dying, possibly some tenjiku timeskip stuff, and then ofc the final timeline. uhm this is already mUCH longer than planned help buuuut some k polycule stuff bc i love them and they love each other and they are happy. okay so ik you read my posts abt them so i’ll just start with them in their mid/late thirties, finally settled down somewhere they feel safe and they actually like :3 cough cough switzerland mayhaps ? cough cough. yk it can’t be japan anyways... and switzerland is far away...... and i know it well....

okay. they adopt a cat. or maybe two. probably two actually. two cats for them bc they’d like some company other than themselves and kazutora loves cats anyways. i believe that koko is actually more of a dog person bc inupi, but he’s the type of guy to go ‘‘ofc YOU GUYS can get a cat. it’s gonna be YOUR cat. YOU will have to take care of it. i won’t (unless absolutely neccessary.)’’ and then a month or smth after they get a cat kazutora & kakucho are away for a weekend for.. work or smth idk and when they get home koko & the cat are sleeping on the couch while he’s hugging the cat close to his chest, and there’s cat toys all over the floor bc he spent hours playing with the cat. he will still refuse to admit how much he loves the cat but he continues to play and snuggle with it whenever his bfs (husbands? i feel like they’d wear matching wedding rings and call each other husbands even if they legally aren’t bc poly marriage is forbidden) aren’t there to see. also this is really random but kakucho is the small spoon, kokonoi the middle spoon, and kazutora the big spoon. or two of them just sleep hugging the third person.

kazutora would work at a pet shop again i think. maybe he’d even study medicine to become a vet assistant? tbh i’ve always seen him doing that more than chifuyu or baji (tho i love vet student baji too <3). struggling with giving the other two jobs bc after bonten i don’t think kakucho would still want to work with kids (tho i def see him doing some kind of charity work in his free time) and kokonoi... he can’t sponsor anyone like this nor could he do finances for anyone, and he would never ever work at a bank. he’d still like a high paying job/smth at least loosly related to money tho. maybe like some sort of secretary for someone in finances? idk. very open to ideas for these two bc well i am stuck lol.

i think they’d mostly just try to take it slow and enjoy their more peaceful lives now (well kazutora’s life was pretty peaceful before too.. but kokonoi & kakucho) without having to worry about illegal and dangerous and whatnot else stuff. they deserve it okay they all had to go through too many things 😭

also more random stuff about them. kokonoi is banned from the kitchen not because he’s a safety hazard or because he burned down the kitchen once or smth but because he keeps wanting to cook overly expensive gourmet foods, and while they do taste good they are way too expensive and take way too much. plus he HATES having other people in the kitchen with him (he straight up locks them out) and refuses to leave the kitchen while he’s cooking even if he has to wait two hours for something to slowly simmer on low heat so essentially he AND the kitchen are gone for half a day if he wants to make dinner. he doesn’t really mind the kitchen ban though so it works. i think kakucho enjoys cooking the most, but he and kazutora both cook a lot. and sometimes kokonoi forces himself to wake up extra early on weekends (like. 6am. and then he’s done at 7am. and the other two wake up at 9am when early, more like 10am to 11am bc weekend and kokonoi has to wait with his beautifully prepared breakfast for hours) to make pancakes for them all <3

uhh that’s everything in my brain rn i think. i hope. and this is already a fucking essay so whoopsies. anyways that was it, i very much hope you enjoyed my long ass rambles <3 fr fr i missed writing these rambles for you,, but aa i can do that again!! :D

I do have a few WIPs and I will give little summaries of each under the cut!! They are in order of when I will most likely finish them)

 Under the Northern Lights post-canon PWP oneshot - I’ve had all kinds of little snippets pop into my head of Inuyasha and Kagome’s lives together within the UTNL universe, and I always write them down. Most of them are smutty because I can’t seem to help myself hahahaha. This one is the most fully-formed idea that I had a few months ago, and wrote down a whole rough draft in my phone. It actually takes place on New Year’s Eve, which is why I was hoping to have finished UTNL well before the end of the year so that I could have posted this follow up oneshot on/around NYE, but OH WELL. It’s mostly just porn anyways, but includes a tiny hint of plot that actually ties in with the epilogue! (you will see a reference to “New Year’s” in the epilogue, so just know that you will eventually be getting to read the whole story 😉)

The First and Last - Modern AU that could either be a long oneshot or a multi-chapter depending on how long it ends up being. Currently it's only about 4.5k words, but still super rough so it could definitely end up being multi-chapter. I'm so excited about this one because childhood-best-friends-to-lovers is one of my all-time favorite tropes (Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable were my first ship before I even knew what shipping was...), and now I'm FINALLY going to have a story of my own using that premise! This story is inspired by the summers I spent as a kid at my grandparent's cottage in Maine. It was in a very tiny coastal town, and was on a quiet street with a few other summer homes, so I would see the same kids every year and we would all hang out. And I may have had a smol crush on one of the boys that I would see each summer😏. So this story is InuKag in a very similar situation!! I love this one and can't wait to share once I go back and fill in all of the middle parts 🥰

Sometime Around Midnight - Modern AU multi-chapter based on  a song of the same name by The Airborne Toxic Event. I actually came up with this as my first multi-chapter AU back in January/February before UTNL randomly forced its way into my brain and took up my entire life for the rest of the year. I'm still really excited about this one, and have a whole elaborate backstory planned out, but am actually really stuck on how I want the plot to go past the initial couple of chapters (which starts off as pretty much just a retelling of the lyrics of the song). It won’t be super long, probably only 3 - 5 chapters, but I really can't decide on an interesting enough way to end it 😆.  I'll figure it out eventually, though!

The Girl at the Rock Show -  Modern AU enemies-to-lovers fic that I wrote for @goshinote’s birthday back in October! I was only able to get it to the point of being a super rough draft (that was still over 6k) by the time of her birthday, but I promised to get back and finish it eventually, which I still plan to do! I debated whether to publish it, since it’s very much written for Jane and her interests with lots of inside jokes/references lol , but I figure I might as well share it because someone else might enjoy too! The basic premise is that Inuyasha and Kagome are both working at a concert venue and do not get along at first. But....✨sexual tension✨is there and so begins a FWB type of situation that of course turns into something more...

A couple of canon-based very short oneshots - I have ideas for little missing scenes I would’ve loved to see in canon every so often, and have a couple of rough drafts written. One is my version of a little follow-up to the almost kiss in TFA episode 18, and the other is a post-canon idea of how InuKag’s first kiss might have happened based on the manga where they never kissed inside the jewel! Both are short and sweet and very fluffy. I started off with most of my ideas being canon-based, so I like to return to that as kind of my bread and butter after writing a lot of AU. I just love love love Inuyasha and Kagome’s dynamic in canon, and I consider it a fun challenge to write within that world and keep them as in character as possible!

Apart and Together (very tentative title, pls ignore lol) - This is actually the first fic I ever started writing after finishing the series! It is basically just my ideas of what might’ve happened during the 3 year separation, and how their reunion would have gone. It’s actually already like 20k words hahaha, but I started it so long ago when I knew nothing about writing, and have shifted my views on certain things, so it will require a lot of editing/restructuring to get it finished. Eventually!

Untitled Multi-Chapter epic-style long fic based on Darling in the Franxx - Post-apocalypse AU where demons (led by Naraku) have taken over the world and humans are forced to live in small areas under constant attack. Inuyasha and Kagome (and others) are paired up on a mission to gather fragments of the Shikon Jewel, in an effort to stop Naraku from getting them first. They don’t get along at all at first, but learn to trust and rely on each other over time, although they grew up as part of a selection of kids that were raised to be soldiers so they don’t know much about humanity/love/etc. Also there is a twist! The premise is loosely based on the anime Darling in the Franxx, minus the sexual robot stuff hahaha. This will probably take me forever to write tbh. I have a loose idea of the plot, but nothing really written so far. I want to write the entire thing before posting, so it might not end up getting posted next year but we'll see!

That is ALL of my WIPs that have actually been fleshed out into full story ideas! I have a handful of random scenes jotted down in my phone that could potentially become stories if I thought about them a little more, but I don’t like to have too many open WIPs at once, so I’ll try and get a few of those out before trying to come up with anything else.

It's also because I'm very forgetful and think that I already replied that it happens that I don't respond for weeks dgsjskdkff

5. what's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

I think Cherry? But Ven is gonna have a happy ending as well🥰

Daisy Chains, no lie haha, I intended to write a follow up happy ending for it but inspiration left me, so have a sad end for once

Not yet (?) but I really love to read them, especially when mashing up different universes. Maybe it's just my current interest now but I think having Mandos in the The Last of Us universe might be rad as hell since the armour and the jetpacks would help with fighting the Infected or the cordyceps fungus spreading over the galaxy far far away hehe

Yeah, and it stings still whenever I scroll past it

I currently don't publish them!! Most of them are Ven and it's very soft and filthy🥰

Not that I'm aware of it, there were similar concepts every now and then but that's common enough and I don't mind these

Someone translated Daisy Chains into Spanish! It's on Wattpad somewhere and I'm super honoured by it!

Din Djarin and a well deserved nap. Otherwise Gu Xiang and Cao Weining from Word of Honor because they made me physically sob and cry for hours and that had not happened in all my times of fandom

13. what's a wip you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

The one Pirates of the Caribbean fic that I started years ago and the concept still slaps, some of the ideas were actually good enough for Disney aka I recognised some bits of storytelling and plot setup in the final movie that had also been used for the fic; but it was not the same haha just some very similar concepts

14. what are your writing strengths?

I like to think that it's in the relationship between the characters and bantering dialogue!! My style is more simple and not as poetic so I try to see it as a kind of screenplay that just meanders around with no big symbolism etc, it's just little moments stacked on top of each other

15. what are you writing weaknesses?

Transition between scenes and an inability to get certain things onto paper even though I know how it should look like😭 also since I'm writing on the spot most of the times many things happen without my input and it becomes a scrambled mess that is very hard to navigate

16. what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

It really depends on how the translations are provided. If you use italics to indicate another language or pepper in single words that have been translated in the beginning (aka the reader would know the context and how it should be used), that would be fine with me. If there is just long phrases inserted there with no translation whatsoever, I dislike it. Of course it's cool for those who do speak the language to recognise some of the points, but a lot of nuance gets lost if you simply put it in a way the majority would not understand. Providing authenticity is a good thing, especially when the fic is set in another country, for example, but I think it should still be accessible for the majority of the readers (who speak English, most of the time)

17. what was the first fandom you wrote for?

It was actually Lord of the Rings haha and the story was extremely bad💀

18. what's your favourite fic you've written?

Vencuyanir!! It's my baby and I'm so proud of how far I've come even when it's a bit wonky and cliche at times, but that's how I know how to improve. I really love the characters and the pace and knowing that I can take my time with the slow burn and make it realistic🥺
