My husband just showed me this wonderful tiktok of a lady (? I don't know her actual gender) with a white cow doing post-election positivity, and it’s kind of inspired me.

I don’t really do original content on here, but for now - at least for a couple of weeks if I can - I’m going to try to reblog only pretty, nature, food, art, silly, comfy vibes, and the like. So if you need a safe place to chill, this blog is here ❤️

Heads up if you want to archive dive that I have (understandably) reblogged a handful of less than positive things over the last two days, and I’m going to leave them how they are. It seems honest to myself to leave them there, you know? Like yes I have felt these things and do continue to feel these things, but I’m making a decision to make my space more positive now, because I need it (and who knows, maybe someone else does too).

So that’s me rambling ❤️ Y’all take care, I’m thinking about you. I may try to update the pinned post with easy-navigation tags sometime soon too, and to make it easier for folks to block what they please.

next version of my website is set to be the most self-indulgent one yet. doing just so many overly complicated things that only i actually care about and having fun with it!

highlights from these pages: the whimsy zine page picks random colors for each zine page + each text element on load (from a select palette so it'll still be readable and etc). the deck of spirits page is formatted so all the text bits are laid out like cards, and the card previews are overlapping (as shown) but if you hover over one it'll come to the front of the pile. the haunts page i'm mostly just really pleased with how i replicated the title styling in css instead of just using an image for the title

Updated some of my blog pages a bit!

FAQ page has new frequently used tags, Acronym guide has been updated (which was long overdue), and then the discord and demigod generator links in the sidebar should still work as usual. I'll add the Deadangelos wiki link to the sidebar (and probably Deadangelos sidebar as well) at some point in the future once I have more stuff on there.

Currently rewatching the beginning of season two and, honestly, I know there's the whole thing later on where Vincent gives Ava the crown, helps out in a vital manner, etc, but there are some things that no redemption arc can do for you. His betrayal runs so deep, his actions were so grievous that the thing that hit me hardest by the time the season finale came was seeing him calmly chatting with Dora in that final scene.

If you're a criminal and you give information that leads to uncovering other criminals, your sentence might be alleviated, not struck out. The suggestion that he simply reassumed his functions in the OCS after everything that happened is baffling, really; I wish we had a season three to see just in what terms his return was settled, because this idea of him just coming back like this is frankly shocking.

And sure, fine, Catholics and their guilt that eats them up from the inside, maybe his punishment is internal, blah blah; in narrative terms, until we get to glance at this possible emotional hell, it is merely hypothetical and not canon, thus remaining entirely unsatisfactory to the audience.
