deceptive, mostly. she's not physically strong, the average wastelander is a much better shot than her, and her vision and sense of hearing are limited in part due to the severity of her burns. she is, however, very cunning and very pragmatic.

almost everybody gloria kills across the two books are completely defenseless, actively running away from her, surrendered, or put into situations specifically orchestrated by her to make murdering them easy. she only kills in self-defence once, and while we don't see it, the state of the body leaves nick absolutely horrified. part of the conflict in dead woman walking is nick's inability to reconcile the fact she's able to do this with her positive qualities, made much worse by the fact she never expresses remorse for most of them

in tears why did giles never just. talk. to buffy. or any of the scoobies. I feel like buffy would've responded a lot better if he'd just tried to warn her about older men rather than oh vampire bad. who CARES if he's a vampire angel treats giles like an equal and considers all of buffy's friends "children" INCLUDING HER when he decides he needs to make a point about how he's smarter/more mature than her. it actually makes me feel crazy why did THAT not seem to bother giles !!!!

I think you'd like to know something-

She's only so chill and happy in the stuff I write because she's comfortable and feels safe - she knows Shanon and Veronica won't let anything happen to them and obviously an 11 year old fan is going to not be seen as a threat (she still has a massive soft spot for kids - always has always will)

She's pretty nasty to anyone she doesn't know, from just being rude to willingly punching people to get out of her way if it comes to it, she's not afraid to hurt anyone yk?

She'd absolutely spook people, mess with anyone who is just hanging out, she'd be just sitting at the park and faking being deactivated and suddenly shoot right up to spook someone at a park for example. She's worse when it's Halloween, she'd scare off the entire neighborhood- just to be extra sweet the next month to them because they praise her for being SO GOOD at Halloween pranks... Except that wasn't a prank that was her true nature away from her family lmao-

This girl isn't JUST fluff, she's a swearing, prank filled menace of a woman. She will settle down if you're nice to her or Shelly, however. Give her belly rubs and she's your best friend purring away and using you as a pillow. Girl has a constant tummyache, it's always nice to get something to soothe it ya know? The ichor caused it, it's a bad side effect, nobody knows how Shelly doesn't have it. Vee definitely does though, but only her parents know from - unfortunate 3 am accidental jumpscares.

i drew her in a silly trans dress,,,,also circuit lore dump approaching since i submitted her to @sonic-fankid-showdown and havent talked abt her enough,,,

ok so,,,,circuit is a metal sonic/chaos sonic fankid so im starting there because its not the most common of pairs,, essentially they met when nine found a way to build a portal out of the shatterverse to explore sonic's dimension, and allied with eggman temporally since he was the first person nine found,figuring he'd be as easy to con as the chaos council. nine brought chaos sonic with him as a bodyguard and that was when metal sonic got to become accustomed to and annoyed with the new sonic copy since metal cant sass him back. in his infiltration of the empire,nine also may have tampered with metal sonic when he researched the empire's database and realised how useful a fully functional/independent neo metal sonic could be,and after some fallout between metal sonic and eggman, metal took chaos sonic and nine for her own goals,,,and she fr just wins and even gets her own tails little brother,,,,,also that annoying new robot sonic,

by some miracle and a bit of shared romantic deforestation for her new robotic kingdom,,,metal sonic and chaos sonic found themselves being able to stand each other and got together soon after because why not,,they do understand each other best and i imagine that they can be cute together sometimes,

on her own, circuit is pretty chill,and while shes usually quiet,,she enjoys being silently compassionate and tags along with her friend group.her name is an acronym for "Constructed Individual Revered and Cared for Unconditionally In Tenderness" in a moment of emotional weakness from metal sonic and chaos sonic when they first saw her crawling around,,and circuit seems to have been positively influenced by her having such proud and loving parents,and can be fiercely protective of her family if she perceives there too be a threat to their lives,,which includes nine or the other fankid metal secretly takes care of

circuit comes in when neo metal sonic learned that sonic and shadow were having a kid,,and feeling a bit envious of sonic still,utilizing her shapeshifting liquid metal,neo metal created a way to make a robot that can grow just like an organic being from baby to adult,using randomly selected traits from her and chaos sonic to influence how itd be built and develop. (the pg visual is that she built a slot machine or smth to determine if the baby would get vent freckles or quill patterns,,,,)

circuit was fully constructed into a baby robot the same day mordred hatched,,and metal sonic soon forgot about it completely with how obsessed she became with her new kid,and it took two weeks for her to even leave her castle to brag about it to sonic,

anyway,,with some shared babysitters as they grew up together,circuit and mordred formed their own rivalry,and as they both grew into formidable fighters in their own right,their fights have only gotten more intense and violent,,even if they can casually hang out sometimes. circuit on her own doesnt quite understand or control her need to beat mordred into a pulp,and it can only be blamed on mordred being sonics kid and circuit being genetically programmed with a mission to destroy sonic,,and in this case,his son.

[UNTITLED #020]: How Our Team Learned to Never (EVER) Use Pneumatics

I guess the first thing we should've asked ourselves was if using pneumatics was necessary.

The year is 2022. A classroom is filled with nothing but a pneumatics kit (of questionable origin) and a dream. And ~45 students. They also had dreams. Also.

I remember when we started our air-pressure-gauge-reading-journey. The world was infused with the acoustic ambiance of a workshop with power. Now, I am an author who speaks (somewhat) for the team, but, if I were an author that spoke for myself, I might say something about how, while I personally didn't have much to do, I was fascinated just watching them work.

The design for the robot, a claw that would be pushed forth with a pneumatic piston, was almost entirely created by a few of the older students, which sucks because upperclassmen are always busy and they didn't have much help (quick parenthetical of appreciation for those that contributed that year). To be frank, no one really knew what they were doing.

A week or two until comp and our robot was but undone. The workshop was emptier in those days. Our main electrical guy had spent a few minutes making an entire table from scratch wood for some reason (to work on or practice driving with or something; my memory eludes me). Suddenly, we had something resembling a bot. I helped with bumpers.

Were we cramming? No, we were living

And to ourselves, we had to be forgiving

We had no choice

But to rely on a few senior boys

And hope they got the bot moving

Anyway, so we're at comp and we're having all sorts of issues. There are leaks and we have trouble getting past inspection, but if I remember correctly the piston might have worked once or twice. A super nice guy from another team spends like the whole day with us trying to get it working, which really showcased coopertition. Everyone in our few feet of pit is stressed and our president ran to best buy to get us a brand new light-up xbox controller. Eventually, we were able to compete. Our mechanism still wasn't great, so we slapped a dumbbell on the robot and played defense.

We didn't win, but we adapted, and the whole experience only made going to playoffs a year later that much sweeter. Also, we at least got to experiment with pneumatics. But pneumatics is hard guys. And also that game kinda sucked.

We learned a lesson that day. Air likes to be as free as a bird. We were not airbenders. We were but FRC lovers.

In all honestly, though, that year was probably an essential step in the progression of our team. What we lacked in time-management we made up for (further hindered) with ambition. Additionally, we really became comfortable stepping outside our comfort zone (you won't have trouble straying from the tried and true if all is tried and nothing is true). We used a somewhat original design, and I think at least a few students were invested in the outcome. And it was a good time.
