I'm painting lots of stuff in general. I don't like uaing traditional mediums (sooo annoying and my hands are all in dots from washing off paint), but I love to have physical arts to much to stop me.

Still sour over a fact that i bought pack of 24 markers, thinking that they are all-surface and acrylic, but they were a normal markers on the same shelf and nearly indentical box.

Love it when mages/spellcasters in stories have slightly otherworldly traits. Unnatural eye colors/pupil shapes, unusual skin tones/hues, sharp/animal like teeth, nails, or ears, fur/horns/scales/feathers where they'd normally have none, etc.
#dunno what a normal tag for this would be so#world building#dragon age#bg3#i am adopting this into my dragon age canon btw#i love thé idea of mages in thedas having this extra something that can make it harder for them to blend in sometimes#some of them could be super subtle like morrigan's glinting yellow/golden eyes#or some could be more obvious and harder to hide#like imagine anders having to wear gloves/hand wraps all the time because he has claws/monstrous hands#or an apostate on the run needing to hide their frog shaped pupils from everyone they meet#a circle mage being a pariah because everyone thinks they're half Qunari because of their horns#hehe anyway it can be applied to any world with magic in it#maybe the trait even corresponds to the magic type that's most natural for them to learn/cast#a wizard specialized in water magic who has fish scales/gills#a sorcerer born with owl eyes/feathers finds it easier to cast magic at night#a mage who finds fire magic exceptionally easy to cast has claws and can breathe fire#it's just so much fun to play around with

while i know wwx somehow managed to invent being a passenger princess in a society without cars, i do think in a modern au he would have the most rundown car in existence. it's older than he is. he has to smack it multiple times to get the a/c to work. he lost one of the side mirrors and it was too expensive to track down a replacement so he just duct taped a hand mirror to the side of the car. the drain pipe scrapes against the ground when he goes over bumps. he has definitely lived in it at some point. it is, of course, named suibian
#mdzs#he is over six feet tall and the car is a narrow little two door thing#so when he was sleeping in the back of it he was definitely having to twist into a pretzel#he had to buy it himself when he was like nineteen because the jiangs wouldn't buy him one#yanli has a very sensible mom van#jiang cheng has a motorcycle and he would be so fucking cool if not for his whole everything#lwj has a car that's simultaneously very practical and absurdly expensive#he keeps it very clean#there is a whole year's worth of fast food wrappers in wwx's car#meanwhile lwj's car is so immaculate it could be brand new#until of course wwx begins bumming rides off of him#and he's like lan zhan! you don't even have a pile of napkins in the glove compartment! what if you need a tissue!#and begins leaving evidence of himself everywhere#his favorite tube of chapstick is in the door pocket#his car doesn't have an aux port but lwj's does so he leaves an aux cable in his car#they go on a roadtrip and he throws a blanket in the backseat and then it just lives there forever now#at some point it ends up perfectly folded but still there whenever wwx gets cold#i don't know anything about car types or brands#but i do know car Vibes and what it says about someone's personality lmao

i had a dream last night and all i can remember is that knuckles was in it and we were hanging out and were friends. what does this say about my state of mind
#i specifically remember one snippet from the dream#where me and knuckles were like walking through a path#and a big tree fell down and blocked the path between us like i was after the tree and he was before the tree#and i extended my arm and he extended his and i grabbed his little hand to help pull him over the tree to the other side#i SPECIFICALLY remember for some reason the like squishy and rubbery texture of grabbing his little boxing glove#though now that i think of it while awake knuckles can climb walls‚ fly‚ and break big objects easily with his super strength#so he probably didnt need my help to cross that tree at all. maybe he just wanted me to feel included#like letting your little sibling win at a videogame#🧃.txt

anxiety is so weird. i was just thinking about how before going in for jury duty i was so anxious i was like on the verge of fainting and i threw up and i was just freaking out. but a few years ago when i cut my hand on a chainsaw i went into a calm zen like state and set the saw in a safe place and walked 10 minutes back to the house while applying pressure to my hand and washed it and bandaged it. Like in only one of these scenarios was there any actual danger and yet
