#just me thinking about amelin spending so much of the start of dai basically in shock. like he's dealt with solipsism and#disconnect from himself and reality so. yeah. he spends a lot of the start thinking that maybe this just isn't real. like. trying to cope#and i was thinking that he'd be either getting out of that or accepting that it doesn't matter but then. IHW happens and#yeahhhh he's kind of back to square one for a bit. now I'm wondering what specifically would get him to normal#original posts#and thinking about how part of why he falls back into this so strongly is the fact that all these people are acting like he#belongs among them or at least is worthy of the place he occupies. which uh. oh. okay then cool.#also i keep thinking about seeing people complain about others 'picture perfect elf ocs' when like. all my elf characters#(even some who aren't protags but figures in my protags lives#) have some type of mental fuckery going on and kind of sucks in so many ways. like i would not pick these guys to solve anything
