My theory stands that the purpose of SuperM was actually Lee Soo Man deciding he felt bad about Taemin being by himself while all the other members of SHINee were in the army so he pulled together Taemin's bestie Kai and then an assortment of other talented or entertaining SM idols and made a group to keep Taemin happy, busy, and surrounded by fun people.

The fact that they were any level of successful was a bonus, and the fact that all of SHINee including Taemin is done with the army means SuperM served its purpose and with Kai in the army now and Taeyong still needing to go, by the time they're both done it'll have been so long since they put anything out that they won't bother to do anything else and that SuperM will remain as a wild fever dream.

I feel so bad letting this sit for so long, but better late than never I suppose! Thank you to literally everyone who tagged me in this. Literally every time I see these posts it makes me grin like an absolute dope at my phone. This is one of the best fandoms I’ve ever been in. I know I joke that I’m just sitting in my corner making garbage, so thank yall for making the room my corner is in so lovely.
