Spellbound
-Hanbin x Female reader
-Hanbin’s birthday project (:
-Hogwarts au, friends to lovers, school life au.
-Spellbound masterlist
-A/n: Please, please read this with an open mind. I’ve never done anything like this before so I know it’s lacking. I know there are thousands of better Hogwarts au out there but I haven’t found too many for iKON so I thought what better time than to create something fun for Hanbin’s birthday. I tried to include other members in the stories because why not, I love them all (:

Chapter 4: Almost Love?
A soft dreamy sigh fell from the cherry red soft lips of the boy watching his heart’s desire skipping into the night. Hanbin got his eyes glue on the wind blown locks bouncing slightly with each step you landed on the cold step of the staircase leading down into the bottom of Black lake. He stood there staring, smiling from cheek to cheek until the doors finally closed on your disappearing figure. As he turned on his heels and hopped up the steps of the marble staircase back to the dorm room, Hanbin found himself humming badly to the little tune you always hum, reminding himself that the next time he got a moment alone, he’ll ask about it.
Hanbin shudder at the cold fabric of his PJ brushing against his skin, steamy and fresh still right out of the shower, a grin played hide and seek on his lips, slightly creeping out his roommates.
“Dude, I know ya’ll like snuck off to make out and stuff but like, can you please stop smiling like a fool?” Jiwon muttered darkly, hand fluffing up his pillow. “It’s scary to see you smile this much.”
“Yaaaaaa.” Hanbin let out a long whine, much too happy to be bother by the jab taken by his best friend.
“So you did snuck off to go make out then?” Jiwon now situated in his own bed, heavy blanket weighing down his body as he scrolled away on his phone, no doubt checking Lisa’s Instagram.
“I wish.” That dumb smile back on his lips once more as his mind floated off in a day dream. “We just went to the courtyard to talk. She didn’t like the crowd.”
“So you thought about it!” Jiwon exclaimed, furiously typing away at his phone but not without sending a sly wink toward the elated boy.
“Wha-” Hanbin thought about protesting but at this point, there was really no use in putting up a protest. “Yea, kind of. We kinda held hand tho...”
“What do you mean “kinda”. You either did or you didn’t.”
“Well I kinda dragged her toward the courtyard and during the process, her tiny hand may have been held really tight in mine.” A blush crept on Hanbin’s cheeks as he stifled a giggle, recalling the way your hand felt so perfect in his.
“Hope your hand wasn’t sweaty.” Jiwon quipped, glancing over at the giddy boy heaving a sigh as he laid his back onto the soft bed. Hanbin could neither hear nor care any longer what tease Jiwon had got for him because his phone had just dinged loudly, echoing through the room, coaxing out the heavy beat of his heart. Could it be you?
Hanbin near yelped out loud the second that little star popped up on his screen, hands clutching his phone as if it worth more than his arms or legs or even head. He sunk further into the giant pillow his mom had specially bought for him knowing that it’d help after a grueling day of practice of a sport she honestly thought as a bit barbaric. (Seriously, what kind of sport got a ball that’s like a loose cannon going rouge?)

Somewhere beneath the Black Lake, peaceful and dark just as it should be, a blood curdling scream ripped through the serenity of the damp dungeon. Lisa whom had been suspiciously giddy took a tumble off her bed at the sound, Junhoe and Chanwoo scrambling to their feet before near teleported themselves to your room, wands in hands.
“What, what, who die?” Chanwoo tore into the room with the force of a growing six foot tall boy, nearly ripping the door off its hinge. Junhoe rushed to aid a grumpy Lisa back onto the bed.
“What is wrong with you? You have got to stop screaming like Voldemort had just made a comeback. He’s not in a boyband you know. And even if he was, he’s permanently disqualified, disbanded.” Lisa sassed with murder glowing in her beautiful eyes, checking a spot where she was sure would bruised to hell by tomorrow’s morn. “If you keep up like this, I’m going to murder Hanbin just so I can have my peace back.”
“Oh, it can’t be that bad. Let the girl be. How often is she going to experience first love!” Junhoe retorted, now working on calming down the raging bear still standing tall in the middle of the room, wand waving about.
“You two try to live in the same room as her.” Lisa grumbled as the two large boys settled beside her “Anyways, what did that dork say that got you screaming like that?”
“He-Hanbin, he...”
“Spit it out before I smash your phone.”
“He sent me a kissy face!”
A collective shriek like banshee in the night tore through the quiet room earning a loud bang from the room next door and a very angry “keep it down”. Hushing themselves, the three nearly crushed your body at an attempt to grab at the small phone you were still clutching to your chest.
“But I think it’s an accident though.” It was almost harmonious in the way they all groan simultaneously at your clarification.
“Well send something back anyways!” Chanwoo urged, and the other two seemed to agree wholeheartedly by the way they were nearly ripping their own head off nodding so furiously.
“Well, what if it was an accident though. You saw how many emojis he sent! Could’ve been a mistake. I don’t want to embarrass myself... He could just be friendly.”
“So what?” Lisa exclaimed in disbelief at your naiveness. “You gotta take every chance you can. He’s hot real estate... Did I use that correctly? hot real estate?” She glanced about to get confirmation but the boys just shrugged, unsure of it themselves. “Whatever, what I’m trying to say is... Mistake or not, you saw how he was with you tonight. The boy was like a lost puppy following you around. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so nervous and, and...”
“Shy!” Junhoe cut in.
“Yes! exactly, shy. Y/n, you must be really stupid if you still believe that boy is anything but head over heels for you.” Lisa hopped over to your bed, arms supportively around your entire body as she snuggled in close even at your protest.
“Hey, I’m not stupid.” to which she muttered a soft “lil’ bit”.
“What she’s trying to say is, I don’t think there’s anything you could do that’d be embarrassing to the boy. He’d just think you’re cute.” Chanwoo sighed softly at the disbelieving pout you got on your lips.
“You could be wearing the most horrendous outfit and make up and dance horribly on top of the table in Great Hall and he’d still look at you with those moonstruck eyes.” Junhoe added in, seemingly soothing your heart a bit because the next second you found yourself scrolling through the emoji list beside a very satisfied, giddy Lisa.
“Good choice” She said, and the boys agreed. “Simple yet I don’t doubt he’s screaming right now.”

Despite a bit of a pout that was forming on his lips at the realization that he might not see you until the weekend had passed, Hanbin was still on cloud 9 at the thought of you reaching out first.  Cursing himself for setting such a pack schedule, Hanbin was a bit grumpy as he curled up under the thick blanket ready to turn in for the night when another ding to his phone got him scrambling to his feet. If he could scream this very second, he would but if he does, he’d risk decapitation by Jiwon. The boy got one hell of a swing and no doubt could take someone’s head off. So he bit his lips shut, flailing in the darkness on his own as his soul screamed to the universe outside.
“What are you flapping about over there, quail?” Jiwon voice tore through the darkness and sent a shudder down Hanbin’s spine.
“Y/n, she sent me a blushy face with a bunch of hearts flying around.” Hanbin whispered even though Jiwon was very much awake. “I wasn’t expecting it at all. I just said goodnight to her.”
“Let me see.” The tall boy sprawl his body, arm reaching in the dark for the only light source illuminating the entire room. After a few second of quiet, with Hanbin hopping in one place on his bed in anticipation, Jiwon finally spoke up once more and Hanbin thought his life was over. “You sent her a kissy face emoji, make sense she sent one back.”
“I did what?” Horror grimaced over Hanbin’s sharp features at the revelation his best friend just made.
“Here, when you sent her a bunch of stars, you sent the kissy face.”
“fuck fuck fuck. I didn’t mean to! Oh god. My life is over.” Hanbin stammered in panic, eyes glued to the little text box only to collapse in embarrassment.
“Oh man, this is good.” Jiwon wheezed, laughing so hard he was about to pass out. “I gotta text Dongdong and Yunhyeong.”
“Glad you find my pain amusing.” Starfish on his bed, Hanbin felt as though his short relationship with you, all the wonderful moments flashing before his eyes.
“It’s not a bad thing, you know.” Jiwon added in, confusing the boy further. “Oh wait, Donghyuk is calling!” As Hanbin wallowed in his own failure, Jiwon had picked up the call to a deafening scream of Yunhyeong.
“Shut up, Yunhyeong. Let me talk!” Donghyuk scolded over the phone. “Boy, why are you freaking out? Take this as a good sign.”
“Yea! a very very good sign.” Yunhyeong’s voice echoed in from the distant through the speaker.
“Told you!” Jiwon exclaimed. “He doesn’t believe me that it’s a good thing. A happy mistake.”
“You guys are insane. Mistake is mistake. How can there be a happy mistake?”
“Because she replied with hearts and blushy face! Do you not realize what that meant?” Yunhyeong voice louder now, probably pressing his whole face onto the receiver.
“If you don’t realize it, you really are as dumb as we thought!” Donghyuk teased and Jiwon nodded silently along.
“Please, just spare me the misery and explain.” Hanbin still down on himself, unable to even realize that you did in fact sent hearts, hearts!
“She sent heart, that meant at the very least, she’s fond of you! And taken into account that she was willing to put up with us all dinner, went along when you dragged her to the courtyard, I think fond is an understatement.” Ever so observant, Donghyuk continued to explain, noting every time you wore blush on your cheeks, the little shy smile and how you had a bit of a scowl on your lips when the Gryffindor’s cheerleader captain had gotten a bit too friendly with Hanbin as the group passed by on their way to see the pumpkins. It was barely noticeable, as fleeting as a dandelion in the wind, but nothing escape Donghyuk’s watchful eyes.
“She did?!?!?” Hanbin sprung up on his bed like Frankenstein’s monster rising, but a bit too fast because the next second he was on the ground, completely lost his balance. “I- I didn’t even notice.”
“Yea, because your stupid eyes were too glued to Seulgi to notice.” Jiwon chimed in, shuddering at the memory. “I thought lisa was going to eat you alive with the way she was glaring at you.”
“Lisa? talk about Junhoe. That boy is Slytherin’s royalty so you know he got some dark shit up his sleeves. I swore at one point he nearly put a curse on you, muttering something. I had to fake sneeze to get his attention.” Suddenly it was story time as each of the boy recounted their own point of view of that very moment. “Chanwoo seemed miserable too from what I remember.”
“Miserable is an understatement. His fist was balling up, knuckles were going white before I panicked and put my arm around his shoulders. I think he thought I was just being frisky but really, I was scare for you life.”
Hanbin hadn’t thought it anything special, he saw Seulgi often during meeting with the madame Hooch because they were the representative of Gryffindor. But then the rep for all the other houses were always there. Lisa and Jooheon for Slytherin, Wonho and Jisoo for Hufflepuff, and last but not least, Jennie and Irene for Ravenclaw. He didn’t think it was such a big deal to say hello to a fellow housemate, especially one he had worked so closely with...
“Was it really that bad?” Hanbin whispered in the dark, as if fearing the question itself would materialized and hit him over the head if he had spoken any louder.
“What did you think? Y/n didn’t seemed to mind to much aside from the little frown. She was pretty cheery afterward but the other three, I don’t know,  you might wanna watch your back.” Jiwon spoke eerily with a heavy sigh.
“You two looked really chummy. I don’t know you too well so I think I’m the most qualify to judge here.” Yunhyeong offered up a few words. “I really thought there was something going on between you two, like you dated or something. If you hadn’t been rambling on about Y/n so much, I’d think you have a crush on Seulgi.”
“Yea, mate. I know there’s nothing going on between you two but I was still a bit taken back. Especially in front of Y/n.” Donghyuk mused gently. “Even after all that, she still sent you a blushed face with hearts. It’s a very good thing you accidentally sent that kissy face.”
“Hmm.” There was a moment of silent and the trio worried they had broke Hanbin. “THAT’S IT!” Yet the next Jiwon found himself staring at his phone with confusion as if Donghyuk and Yunhyeong could see his expression.
“That’s it?”
“I’m going to ask her out tomorrow! I made my mind, don’t try to change it.” Hanbin declared with an overwhelming sense of confident coursing through his blood.
“We’re not mate. The sooner you can go tell her you love her, the sooner we can stop suffering in all this confusing love talk.”
“You sure progressed fast. You didn’t even realize you had a crush on her until like 4 hours ago.”
With the a last laugh shared between the four boys, sleep took over the small rooms as they bid goodnight to one another. Hanbin stared for a bit at the happy accident on his phone, letting the blue light of the screen illuminate his corner of the room for a moment before closing it, letting his eyes fluttering close. As he drifted off into dreamland, Hanbin was glad for you, and glad to have friends like the guys to support him through all the nonsense of life. He hoped too that soon, they can be happy with the one their hearts beat for, hope that right now as they snoozed away, that their dream will be as beautiful as his.
The cold air still very much stagnant in the room barely lit from the still drowsy sun, Jiwon stirred under his blanket as the blaring alarm flashed angrily 6:30. Any other weekend and Hanbin would’ve been right there, grumble and muttering cusses under his breath right along side Jiwon despite he himself being the person that set the practice time. But not this weekend. He had been up for ages, prepped and primed for a long day of practice without even being told off by the alarm clock for snoozing it too many times. His phone clutching tight in his hands as he stumbled his way down the stair toward the golden glow of the fireplace. Settling in the closest seat to the crackling embers, Hanbin read then reread the conversation of the night before with a smile on his lips, wondering if it had been too early to text you. In the end, he decided against it for what he needed to tell you was best done in person. He sat there for who knows how long before a sleepy Jiwon finally emerged from the wooden door of the dorm room, hair dishevel as if he had already been practicing for ages.
“Do we really have to go this early?”
“You ask that every weekend, have my answer changed?” Hanbin retorted, a strange warmth enveloping him in happiness, bright smile on his lips. “The sooner we get this out of the way, the sooner you can enjoy your weekend.”
“Ugh, wipe that smile off your face please.” Jiwon groaned loudly, scratching his head drowsily. “I know it’s because of Y/n but this early in the morning, it just seems like you’re mocking me.” They grumbled and fumbled their whole way down for an early breakfast before meeting up with the rest of the team for another day full of fun, as Hanbin liked to say. Although he wasn’t sure his definition of fun matched that of the rest of the crew but positivity is key to success... Or until they forced tigerBin to come out and scare everyone into their places. Whatever it is, he was certain once those flags adorning the Great Hall fluttered into a shade of crimson and gold, they’d appreciate him.
Aside from being in a much better mood than he usually was, practice was as practice always had been. They zoomed laps about the field until sweat began to broke over their energetic faces. Hanbin went over his strategies, they practiced and it seemed as though having a crush had done great for the boy because his pep talk was the best one yet this season. Even Jiwon the skeptic found himself nodding along, and at one point, even raising a fist in agreement. Although, there wasn’t anything that could’ve prepare the entire team for the shock that was Hanbin dismissing them early for a perfect practice. None was more shock than Jiwon himself as his jaws nearly to the ground the second Hanbin closed out their practice a whole hour early, a whole freaking hour.
In all the years they’ve known each other, Hanbin had been such a stickler for his 9 steps prep approved by Oliver Wood himself that everything had to be down to the second. Even one microsecond straying away from the long sheet of paper posted up in their locker room would have detrimental result. Clearly, Jiwon was dead wrong when he made the bet with Donghyuk all those months ago that the day Hanbin learned to loosen up his reign was the day the Ravenclaw boy get to make him slave for an entire day. Best scurry off before Hanbin come to senses and well, the news of this preposterous better and improved Hanbin reach Donghyuk.
As he waved off the last of his concern teammates (whom were all half considering running straight to madame Pomfrey to ask her to do a head exam of their captain), Hanbin hopped back onto his broom, ascending once more into the sky. As he steady himself near the one of the post, Hanbin got out his wand and enchanted the quaffles to fly at him, much like one of those automatic baseball machine. Normally Jiwon’d be batting his pent up anger at the poor captain but today, Hanbin thought he oughta not receive any black eyes or broken arm if he was to make it to dinner, to you. It was a very important day after all for the undefeated single man, probably the only boy left in Gryffindor never before had a girlfriend.
Nearly a half hour later and buckets of sweat, not one made it pass the keen sighted captain. Hanbin uttered once more with a wave of his wand to halt the balls from hurling themselves toward the post and watched as they neatly returned back to the basket where they peacefully sleep until the big game. A heavy pant in his chest, Hanbin thought of taking a few more lap, let his overworking heart bask a bit in the cool air of a beautiful autumn afternoon before heading back. Yet just as he was begin to soar away amongst the cloud toward the lake, a sight that had his heart steamrolling over every other senses in his body came right into view. Casual and carrying perhaps too many books and things for one person to have on a lovely weekend, you began making your way up the bleachers of the Slytherin tower. He considered yelling out your name but curiosity got the better of him as he steady his broom, watching from afar as you pulled out that leather bound notebook he had seen so often.
“Y/n!” No longer abled to bear being so far apart, Hanbin rasped gently your name as he too descended onto the bleacher, broom thrown hastily onto the wooden floor.
“Oh! I didn’t know anyone was still here! Lisa said there’s a little bit of a gap between Gryffindor’s practice and Slytherin. Sorry if I bothered you.” You replied with that same cute wave he had saw at dinner just the night before, a welcoming smile on your lips despite the apology falling from them.
“No not at all. I stayed behind to practice a bit more, that’s all. And you’re never a bother.” Hanbin a bit red in the cheeks, praying that the drumming of his heart wasn’t so obvious even though he was mere inches away from you. The sudden thought of how close you were and how you smelled so much like roses and jasmine suddenly left Hanbin embarrassed, probably smelling like a sweat soaked sock stewing in the sun for days. He shuffled away a bit, eyes studying your skillful hand gliding the pencil across the blank page, silently cheered as you seemed to not have noticed the stench steaming from his body.
“I climb up here to sketch sometimes. Though I usually avoid being here during practice.” You explained with a glance toward the curious boy, eye closely the beautiful scenery blooming on the page.
“Ah, explain why I’ve never seen you here.” Hanbin mused gently, the thought of the big question warmed his soul and lighted his heart on fire. He had it all planned out but now it seemed his heart can’t wait any longer, not with you so close right beside him. He bit his lips and stilled his heart, a hand over his chest as he did his best to calmed the erratic beats. “You know, if you fly beyond the field just a bit, the scenery is really nice!”
“I...” You stared at the blue sky above as if wishing you were amongst the cloud, drifting so peacefully in the soft breeze. “This is really embarrassing, but...” Your voice droned out, a bit of worry laced in between each breath you took and Hanbin felt guilty. He never meant to put you in an uncomfortable situation, at least not consciously but watching your silent admiration for the scenery, the way your chest risen and fallen with each puff of air exhaling, Hanbin felt small. As if he had done something so majorly wrong even though serene and gentle happiness was gliding over your features.
“Ah, sorry. You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. Forget I asked.” Chuckling awkwardly, Hanbin waved the invisible flies in front of him as if shooing away the past few seconds from existent.
“No it’s not that. I’m just embarrass because you’re... captain and all.” Your voice hushed out into the most delicate whisper, quite like a kitten, cute and soft. Hanbin found himself at the edge of his seat, bated breath as you struggle through each word that painted your cheeks rosy. “I’m not very good at flying... I did enough to pass madame Hooch’s class and honestly, I don’t trust myself on a broom.”
“Y/n!!!” Relief washed over the worried boy as he sighed your name. “That’s nothing to be embarrass about. Flying isn’t for everyone. Just cause I managed not to plummet to death every time I get up there thus far, doesn’t mean that I’d judge you or something.” He couldn’t help the giggle falling from his lips as a result of your very adorably shy confession.
“You’re just saying that...” For the first time since the boy landed onto the seat, you really looked at him. You stared in awe at the slightly messy and dampen locks, how it bursted out with warmth under the soft sun. His skin glowed so ethereally and it wasn’t the sweat that was now drying, sending a slight shiver down his spine. And it was only now that you had noticed a big splotch of red, raw and painful on curve of his lower lip. “Oh my god, what happened to your lip?” Near instinctively, your hand reached out wanting to dote at the flustered boy but nerve failed you always at the worst moment. Your hand hung awkwardly midair and shock still very much rummage through each and every one of your features. “Did you get hit by a ball? Did Jiwon hit you?”
“This? Now it’s my turn to be embarrass...” Hanbin wanted so badly for your hand to reach its end destination, even scooting forward a bit hoping you’d take the hint. A pout formed on his lips when your hand balled up in a fist before retreating back to your lap. “I fell off my bed last night after talking to you... Pretty stupid injury considering all the crazy stuff I do while on the broom.”
“I’m sure they got something over at hospital wing to fix it?”
“It’s nothing. I don’t want to bother them with such little thing. I’m sure I’ll be laid up there pretty soon so...” He laughed to ease your worry heart but by the scowl still very much on your lips, Hanbin wasn’t sure he was doing such a good job.
“D-Does it hurt a lot?” You’d give everything to kiss it and make him feel better but alas your relationship wasn’t one so carefree with such intimacy. So instead you reverted back to your original intent, thumb gently petting the area just below his soft lip, heart doing trick when he leaned into your touch.
“Not anymore...” Hanbin sighed softly, reveling in the way you wore your heart on your sleeves. He was glad he had fell off his bed last night out of exhaustion and he was glad the boys had stayed up to talk to him for never before had his heart see clearer. Hanbin caught your hand in his, basking in the warmth it provided and basking in the way your hand stilled under his fingertips. “Do you want me to take you up there?” He stared up at the sky above, a smile brighter than the sunshine painting the world with its honey rays graced his lips as he nodded toward the broom laying still, patiently awaiting its owner.
“I don’t want to bother you. I know you said you were busy.” You politely declined but hoped with all your heart he would protest against it, fingers ghosting over the soft skin of his hand still. He grabbed your hand in his, though no longer lingering near his lips but rather comfortably resting on his thigh.
“Y/n, I already said you could never be a bother to me.” He smiled. “Do you trust me?”
“Yes!” Never before had you been so sure about anything, about any boy.
“That settled it then. If you don’t mind giving me 10 minutes, I’ll shower and be right back!” Mid sentence, Hanbin already got back up onto his feet, not giving you even a second to change your mind. As he ran down the step toward his broom, a smile bright on his lips a the sight of you sitting so still, as if fearing moving even an inch, Hanbin wouldn’t be able to find you.
True to his word, exactly 10 minutes later, a refreshed captain made his way back toward the seat you had been warming, eyes returned to the new lines and curve you had sketched out.
“Is that me?” He gasped gently, index pointing at little him zooming about the page above the groves of trees, amongst the cloud. You nodded shyly as Hanbin stared in awe. In the few minutes of absent, all he managed to do was shower and put on some fresh clothes. You on the other hand, had managed to somehow captured his likeness doing the thing he loved most. “Wow, that’s amazing!”
“You can have it... If you want.”
“If? what do you mean if. Of course I want it.” Oh how much Hanbin wanted to kiss you but instead he settled with putting his arm around your waist and tugging you closer. “You don’t mind if I hang it up in my room?”
“Not at all. Consider it payment.”
“For??” A bit of confusion colored over his features, even more so when you began to giggle at the cluelessness.
“Goodness, are you always this forgetful?”
“Oh! Right, we’re flying around.” Bit mortified, his head hung low. “I got too excited for your sketch.”
You laughed and it only added fuel to the fire burning on his cheeks. He offered a hand that you gladly took, letting the boy leading you toward his brand new broom that his parents had gifted him (and the whole team even though his mom very much against the sport).
“Here, I’ll get on first. You’ll be right behind me, okay?” He instructed gently, letting the broom hovered obediently just a bit off the ground as he helped you get on. Your heart beat erratically even though your feet still very much planted on the floor. Hanbin held firmly onto the handle, a bit of nerve was beginning to startled his heart and he was glad you couldn’t see the sweat forming on his forehead. “Hold on tight!” He whispered, hands letting go of the broom briefly before catching yours in them. He pulled your hands up to his hips, patting it there before gently kicked off, much softer and slower than that of what he was used to. “Are you okay?” Head turning back a bit, Hanbin questioned in concern when the gentle hands on his body suddenly gripping tightly. Not that he minded your touch, but the last thing he wanted was for you to be scar with fear.
“I’m okay. Just, gotta get use to the height.”
“Don’t look down just yet. Keep your eyes on the sky...” Or me, he wanted to say but at the very last second his poor nerve gave out.
“Okay, okay.” You whispered to yourself, still a bit terrified now you both had just passed the fluttering flags adorning each tower. “Can I just look at you instead?” You asked and Hanbin nearly fainted.
He managed to choke down a cough before nodding furiously at your request, wanting nothing more than to look at your face but best keep his focus on the broom. After all he was carrying very precious cargo and he’d die before letting anything happen to you. At the sign of permission, you let yourself refocused back to the soft brown locks and charming jawline. You basked in the fresh scent of pine emanating from the boy that so perfectly matched the cool breeze and soft sun. You stared until your eyes began to water from the whipping wind, not even noticing that he had picked up the speed greatly as you both soared over the fiery trees and shimmering lake. He stopped a few seconds later, steadying the broom before nodding for you to look down at the magnificent scenery below. Though not high enough to say hello to the flock of birds, you could see clearly a few owls stretching their wings, getting a bit of exercising in. In the distant, you could see the billow of smoke coming from the chimney of Hagrid’s hut, the man himself barely a dot moving about in his garden. The orchard of apple burned with the bright crimson of fruits, groups of students flocking for pictures and a few picking. As you took in the scene, your heart forgotten that your feet no longer on the ground and one wrong move could meant a horrible, tragic fall. Yet you felt safe, with one hand still holding onto his sweater and the other snapping a few pictures for reference, your heart swelled thousand times over.
“This is ridiculously amazing. Thank you!”
“So much better than the towers right?” He quipped, a smile mirroring yours.
“So so much. Too bad I’m too much of a chicken and will probably never be able to do this myself.” You laughed, phone safely tucked away in your pocket before letting your eyes returned to the boy. “Thank you!”
“Anytime you want, I’ll fly you up here.” Hanbin offered and with all his heart, he sincerely hoped your answer would be yes. “And don’t say you’re a bother.” He knew too well, before you could even protest, he had cut you off with a cheeky smile, reaching one hand back to prod at your side.
“Okay!” Your cheery answer left his heart doing somersaults, tangling itself in a whole mess of delight.
“But, I have to warn you.” He held a finger up matter of factly, “It’s gonna come with a price.”
“Oh? Well, I hope it won’t be too expensive because I don’t know how many drawing I could finish for you.” You chuckled at his dramatic display, eyes staring at the far horizon, not at all prepare for what about to hit you.
“Not drawing.”
“No?” Your heart began to drummed in a mixture of nervousness and curiosity.
“Nope. I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask for something bigger. After all, you pay one time and you get unlimited flying service by yours truly. Not everyone get to fly with the captain, you know.”He teased a giggle from you, earned too was a soft punch to his arm.
“Yea, yea... what’s it gonna cost me?”
There was a moment of silent, the world seemingly ceased to exist and it was just you and him, floating amongst the stars, just staring into each other’s eyes, souls, even with the little mobility he got keeping the both of you floating in the sky.
“Go on a date with me.” He sighed that heavenly sentence with the utmost ease and effortlessness yet it struck your heart like a freight train, leaving it stammering, skipping a beat. You stared at him, scrutinizing every bit of that handsome face you could and try to find any sign to suggest that he’d hurt you, that this is all just a ploy, a popular captain toying with your heart. You found none. what you did find instead was all the sincerity in the world, all the loving and all the warmth. You wanted so badly to kiss him but the position you were both in, kissing wasn’t permissible so you let your arms wound around his body. Wrapping so tightly, one hand resting on his chest, the other gently on his abs. You let your cheek rest on the strong broad back of the boy and felt his hand creeping up to cover yours, letting his svelte fingers lacing in between. Hanbin sighed in happiness and contentment. He didn’t think anyone could be this happy, an unprecedented surge of joy coursing through his vein. He got his broom and he got his girl, he was floating amongst cloud 9 doing the thing he love most with the girl his heart beat for. There was nothing, nothing better than this except maybe if he could kiss you.
“So, is that a yes?” You both stayed silent for as long as your elated souls would let you before he needed to hear your voice again.
“Yes, always yes.” you replied gently.
“Shall we head down then?” He asked and you nodded against his back, not willing to let go of the warmth shared just yet.
“Thought you never gonna ask me.” You teased a bit, letting the hearty laugh of the boy distract you from the whipping wind against your hair, biting cold against your skin as you both descended.
“What in the world are you talking about? We literally began talking like not even 36 hours ago. What do you mean never?” he quipped with a ridiculously high voice, making you laugh so hard you thought for a second the broom was going to plummet.
“I’m just saying, in those less than 36 hours, someone else could’ve asked me.”
“Oh and you would’ve said yes to them?” There’s no denying there was a tinge of bitterness thinking about you being ask out by someone else. There was no need for Hanbin to be jealous, after all you had just said yes to him and your arms were very much hugging him tightly. But nevertheless, a tinge of bitterness.
“I could’ve...”
“Ouch, my heart.” He uttered dryly as your feet landed safely onto the ground. You nearly dived right onto the grass when Hanbin suddenly whisked backward, facing you with his hand held out. “Hi, I’m Hanbin. I know we just met but I’m shit at math and I think you should tutor me but also go on a date with me.” He said in a strange tone, leaving you bending over in laughter. “you’re saying, you’d rather me do that?”
“I’d prefer different wording but more or less... Yea!”
“You’re... Wow.”
“Regret asking me on a date yet?” You teased with a few poke at his stomach, yet the smirk you got on your lips wiped away quick when he tossed his broom carelessly onto the ground. One hand on your hip, Hanbin reeled you right into his chest, the other hand brushing away a few stray hair from blocking your face.
“No way. I’d never regret this.” Your lips parted, words forming yet nothing came out beside a breathless gasp when his thumb gently caressed your cheek. Hanbin smirked as your eyes danced about the features of his face, lingering a bit too long on his lips. “I don’t know what you’re trying to do, missy. But if you don’t want to date me, that’s fine. Just say no and I’ll accept it. But there’s no way in hell I’d ever willingly let you go now that I’ve got you in my arms.” He was now focusing on the way your swallowed thickly, pursing your lips perhaps in nervousness, perhaps in hopefulness. Suddenly very aware that those cherry red lips were mere centimeters away from his, and that your eyes were fluttering close, body incredibly stilled in his arms. You got one hand on his chest and the other gliding across his body before settling on the small of his back. The sun painted your skin golden as you awaited his next move, putting your entire heart in his hands. Hanbin pondered upon the taste of your lips, the scent of your perfume like a spell, drawing him closer and closer. He tilted his head to the side, lips teasingly close to yours before pulling away again, nerve failing even though you were waiting so patiently for him. Once more the boy closing in, letting the tip of his nose rest against yours, pulling the softest smile on your lips before the anticipation of it all too much for you to handle. You could almost taste him, hot breath fanning against your skin and his scent left you intoxicated. Your eyes closed yet you could imagine each and every one of his features, so handsome and engrained in your brain. He rested his forehead against yours, tall nose fit so perfectly against yours, yet at the very last second, the growing echo of a crowd left you both forcing your eyes open in panic.
“We need to put our heads into the game! Just because Gryffindor had been undefeated, doesn’t mean that it will be the same this year.” Lisa’s voice echoed through the space, leaving you heaving a disappointing chuckle, burying your face into his chest. You gazed up and saw a bit of sadness lingered on Hanbin’s face even though he was smiling.
“Come on.” You grabbed his hand, urging gently before you both turning into a spectacle for the crowd. Sadden, but not at all discouraged, Hanbin followed you along the path leading away from the field, more motivated than ever before. You wanted him, you wanted him to kiss you and now that he got a taste, there’d be no stopping him from trying again. As he watched you giggled your way back to the castle, Hanbin was somehow glad that your first kiss had been interrupted. Something in the build, in the way both of you were so lost in each other that the world didn’t matter was so marvelously magnificent. The moment leading up to a kiss, Hanbin had never believe it when hearing his friends and countless author described it as magical, as fireworks because how could an almost kiss be better than real thing, preposterous he had always said. But now, sharing that moment with you, Hanbin was a believer. Not only so but he was addicted in the almost of his first kiss. His heart bloomed in the way you so trustingly letting him guide you, closing your eyes and let him have his way with you without even a bit of doubt. Would you call him insane if this very moment he said this was almost love?

all of the usual skelebros (that is, ut, uf, us, and sf) reactions to their S/O making pie or ice cream sundaes or whatever, and they "accidentally" squirt a lil bit of whipped cream on their boyfriend's face and try to kiss and/or lick it off. not in, like, a dirty sexual way tho. S/O is just rlly rlly shy and wants an excuse to smooch their cute skeleton man ;;
(I don’t have emojis on PC, sooo….)
THIS *clap* CUTE *clap* SHIT *clap* IS  *clap* MY *clap* JAM. Also this might be toeing a lil closer to nsfw than usual but then again, its me.
Also also, this got kinda long because I was in a mood for fluff, so some under the cut. A lot under the cut.
UT!Sans: “sweet of you to cook.” He grinned from his spot leaning on the counter.
You roll your eyes.”That was barely a pun, dude.”
The grin widened and he came up behind you. “come on, I’m pie-ing here.”
That one gets a small smile out of you and you turn back to the pastry. He reaches from behind you. “hang on, think it needs a test-”
You smack him away. “Phalanges off, its not done.” You gesture the can in your hand. “I abjectly refuse to let you eat pie without whipped cream, I’m a good person. So just sit tight.”
He smirked, holding his hands up and backing away. “alright, alright. normally i’d argue but you’ve got me whipped, babe.”
Your dramatic sigh draws out a full laugh from him, and you can’t help but grin. Stars he was cute. You still weren’t totally adjusted to the idea that he was yours. You started filling that familiar urge to kiss him, but as usual you had no idea how to initiate it. Good night kisses were easy (well, getting easier), but stuff like spontaneous affection didn’t exactly come naturally to you. Suddenly you became aware of the can in your hand. A bit cheesy, maybe, but….
You started shaking the can, presumably to get it ready, when your finger “slipped” and sprayed it back directly at his face. He spluttered slightly, some having fallen directly  into his laughing mouth. “oh, shit, sorry, let me get that off. “You step closer, helping him wipe away what’s on his sweatshirt. Then, your eyes zero in on the glob by his cheekbone and you lean in, kissing it away.
When you pull away, his cheeks are flushed BRIGHT blue and his eyelights have vanished. For a brief moment you’re worried you overstepped your boundaries. “Uh…got it.” You turn back to your work. Half a seond you feel a par of arms wrapping around your waist and a small skelekiss on your cheek.
“heh. didn’t need to make an excuse. already know you’re sweet on me.”
UT!Papyrus: “DATEMATE! RELINQUISH THE WHIPPED CREAM!”
“Not a chance” you say, stubbornly holding the can behind you to keep it away from your boyfriend’s impossibly long arms. “Whipped cream can not go on spaghetti, this where I draw the line.”
“Come on, kid, dessert pasta is the way of the future!” Undyne said. “You humans already have dessert pizza, this is just the next step!”
“No.”
“DATEMATE!” Papyrus stomped his foot, looking put out. “YOU ARE BEING EXTREMELY DIFFICULT!”
You grin. You couldn’t help it. For as much as you loved your boyfriend’s general positivity, he was oddly adorable when he was frustrated. Still, you wanted a quick way to cheer him back up. Impulsively, you say “Alright, want the whipped cream?” You squirt some on his face. Undyne, despite wanting it back as much as he did, cackled with laughter at the sight of a miffed skeleton covered in dessert topping. He wipes it off, looking more annoyed than ever. But he missed one single glob in the corner of his mandible.
Still running on impulse, you lean over and kiss him, catching it in your mouth.
Undyne laughs harder while Papyrus grows startled. He stares at you for a full minute before a huge smile spreads across his face. “AH, I SEE WHAT’S HAPPENING HERE!” He put a hand on top of your head. “OBVIOUSLY I HAVE BEEN NEGLECTING MY DUTIES AS YOUR GREAT BOYFRIEND AND YOU FELT THE NEED TO RESORT TO CHILDISH JAPES IN ORDER TO GET AFFECTION!”
“Um,” you blush slightly at his sweet but somewhat embarrassing conclusion. “Well, that wasn’t exactly what I-”
“WORRY NOT, HUMAN! ALL YOU WOULD HAVE TO DO WAS ASK, BUT I HAVE CLEVERLY DEDUCED THE CAUSE OF YOUR BEHAVIOR! NOW, PREPARE TO BE SMOOCHED BY THE GREAT PAPYRUS!”
All told, its a good kiss, only slightly marred by Undyne making exaggerated gagging noises in the background. You still don’t give them the whipped cream after though.
UF!Sans: A door slam and a low trail of mutters signal your boyfriend’s arrival long before he storms into the kitchen and plops himself down at the counter. You look up from the sundae you were making yourself. “Hey.”
He grumbles something by way of greeting and lets his head collapse into his arms.
“They kept you late?” You start spreading whipped cream on the top of the ice cream.
“i don’t know why the fuck frisk keeps dragging me to this ambassador’s shit. buncha stuffed shirt assholes talkin for hours about nothin in particular. almost fired a damn blaster off in the room just to break the fuckin monotony.”
“Well, that would’ve done wonders for monster-human relationships.” You say, taking a spoonful in your mouth.
He mumbles something unintelligible, not raising his head.
You sigh internally. On the one hand his mood is pretty justifiable, but on the other he’s not much fun like this and you suck at just basic comfort. You need a quick fix, but you’re not sure what……
This is either going to go really well or 100% blow up in your face, but dating Red was never for the faint of heart anyways. You walk over to him. “Hey, could you look up for a second?”
He groans and doesn’t move.
“Come on, just for a second.”
A long pause and he reluctantly turns to look at you….only to be greeted by a faceful of whipped cream. He splutters, shaking most of it off. “what the hell?!”
You lean in and lick off whatever hasn’t been shook free.
He stares for a bit, cheekbones faintly tinted red. Finally he sighed and pulled you into his lap. “you’re lucky you’re cute.”
You grin and kiss his cheekbone. “Aren’t I just.”
UF!Papyrus: You know, for someone reputed (at least by himself) to be one of the sharpest minds of the Underground, Pyrus could be remarkably oblivious.
You’d finally done it. After almost a year of unending nagging, pleading, and cooking together, you’d gotten him to trust you with full control of his precious kitchen. You were planning on making this something of a special night, getting dressed in a cute outfit and sauntering around cooking like the kitchen gods/goddesses of commercials. You were hoping that this might get one of the rare breaks in your boyfriend’s formal front to show.
And he was doing the stars-damned paperwork!
“Dessert will be ready soon!” You said, hoping to draw his eyes up.
“OKAY” he said distractedly, eyes buried in his work.
“I made apple pie. Your favorite.”
“THAT’S NICE.” He says, not even glancing up.
You sigh as you start putting on the whipped cream. You’re not a particular needy person about affection, generally. Its pretty much a requirement for dating Pyrus. But even your meter had been feeling a little low lately. The problem was initiating it though. Edge was usually a little repelled by obvious attempts at cuddles. He preferred to be led into it a little more naturally. Unfortunately, it seems like subtle isn’t exactly cutting it right now.
The idea comes to you as you’re walking over to deliver the pie, and you smile uncontrollably. You pass the plate dangerously close to his cheekbone before setting it down on the table in front of him “Here~”
Finally, finally  he looks you in the eyes. ‘THANK YOU.”
“No problem. Oh, whoops.”  you put a hand to the side of his face, just under the glob. “Got a bit of whipped cream on your cheekbone.” His hand moves to wipe it off, but your mouth got there first, and you kissed it off. “Got it.”
He turns bright red. Its as you walk away that he notices what you’re wearing and chases after you to give you the affection you’ve been looking for.
US!Sans: “I think we’ve covered this sundae.” You say, backing away.
“NONSENSE, WE DON’T HAVE NEARLY ENOUGH!” Sans took the can from your hand and kept squirted higher and higher mounds.
You smile and shake your head, throwing more and more sprinkles on. “Your brother’s gonna kill us for using this much of his sweets stash.”
There was a mischievious glint in his blue eyes as he grinned. “PAPY DOESN’T HAVE TO KNOW EVERYTHING. BESIDES,” he giggled and dabbed some topping on your nose. “THE MAGNIFICENT SANS ONLY MAKES THE BEST SUNDAES”
You blush faintly and laugh. As you keep working you can’t really tear your eyes off of him. His mischievious side is something Sans has only recently started showing to you, and you can’t help but be entranced by it. This short little bundle of joy, normally so responsible and so concerned with following the rules, has a pranking streak to rival his brother’s and a grin that nears a smirk. Its thrilling, in a way, and throw you off blanace in the best way possible.
Yet it also has you feeling uncharateristically.shy around him. You’ve been dating for a few months, but this side him feels….oddly out of your league. Like you’re not quite fast enough on your mental feet for him. You’re oddly blushy and praying he doesn’t notice. Still, you need to do something to take back a little control. Fortunately, he’s justgiven you the perfect idea.
You manage to flick some whipped cream onto his cheek, and as he’s turning to ask why you lean over and suck it off.
He grins. “DATEMATE, IF YOU WANTED A KISS, YOU COULD’VE JUST ASKED.” He kisses you sweetly on the mouth and gets back to work.
So much for getting control of the blush.
US!Papyrus: “Spider pie should really not be this good to me.”
“heh, don’t let Muffet here you saying that.” Pap took a swig from his honey bottle. “but yeah, she’s the best.”
“Seriously, this is a little unnerving.” You soaked another bite in melting whipped ream and ate it. “Maybe I’ve just had a secret taste for spider carcasses this entire time.”
He grinned. “can I pick a date spot or can i?”
You duck into your food to hide your oncoming blush. You had almost forgotten this was a date. Officialy. Of course, the two of you had been seeing each other for months now, with some definite chemistry underneath, but this was teh first time he had proposed hanging out by saying “wanna go out on a date?” Nothing external had really been different, but somehow that rhetoric shift had completely thrown you off.
And you wanted to do something, something that set this apart, showed him you were ready for this relationship to mean more than two friends with some kind of  undefined slow burn between you. Finally, something occurred to you. “Here, try a bit of this.”
He shook his head. “Nah, pie’s not really my thing.”
“Come on.” You shove the bite on your fork against his teeth, the whipped cream squishing out around it.
He rolled his eyes and opened his mouth to accept the food. He swallowed it and shrugged. “its aight.”
You leaned in and licked off the whipped cream.
He looked surprised when you pulled back and you looked to the side, blushing. “Uh….had some on your…
“come here for a sec”
You turn your face slightly and his teeth crash against you, pulling you into a deep kiss. You’re startled, but relax into it, enjoying the moment.
Finally, he breaks off, smirking faintly. “i was right.”
You raise an eyebrow. “About what?”
He grinned. “it does taste better in your mouth.”
You blush and shove his shoulder.
SF!Sans: “YOU CANNOT BE DOING THAT RIGHT.”
You sighed. “Look, I’m following the recipe to the letter, okay?”
Sans looked unconvinced. “IF I KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT COOKING, WHICH I DO, SOMETHING SHOULD DEFINITELY BE ON FIRE.”
“Well, maybe this pie is different.” You say, handing him two slices. “Make yourself useful and put some topping on this.”
“I’M ALWAYS USEFUL.” Still, he started applying some.
You can’t help but grin at his intense focus. It didn’t matter what it was, Sans always gave his 110% to it. He seemed to be trying to spell your names on your separate slices, but kept having to start over beause he made the letters too big. He was getting frustrated, but it was kind of cute.
You felt an overwhelming urge to kiss him, but Sans didn’t really like you initiating PDA. Technically this was the house, but Papyrus was still around. You would need a good cover story. Fortunately, opportunity presented itself momentarily.
“THIS CAN’S OUT.” He said.
“Hang on, I’ll get another one. “ You pulled out a new can and brought it to him, your finger pressing on the top a split second before he grabbed it. He shrieked slightly in annoyance.
“Oh, sorry, sweetie, my finger slipped.” You set the can aside and kissed it off. “There.”
His cheekbones flushed and glared at you for a minute. Just as you’re about to chalk it up as a failure and turn aside he suddenly shoves some whipped cream in your face.
“MY FINGER SLIPPED. I HAVE TO CLEAN YOU OFF WITH MY MOUTH NOW.”
SF!Papyrus: A hand on your collar dragged you away from the table. “hands off.”
“I’m telling you, you’ll love it.” You say, brandishing the whipped cream can.
“i gotta tie you down?” Papyrus tossed you on the couch before returning to his food.
“But its good on pancakes!”
“certain things are sacred, kid. don’t mess with a perfectly good plate of pancakes.”
You roll your eyes, waiting a few minutes before attempting to sneak up on him, slowly reaching your hand around his head, poised to squirt-
His hand catches your wrist and he tugs you into his laps, using one arm to pin your arms to your sides He chuckled and leaned by your ear. “sorry about the confinement, but its the one way i know you’ll behave.” He then resumed eating one-handed.
You huff impatiently, but you’re blushing. You and Papyrus hadn’t been dating that long, you still weren’t really used to him touching you like this. Not to say that you were complaining. In fact, you wanted more, but you weren’t quite bold enough to take it for yourself. At least, not just by kissing him. Blushing furiously, you pressed down on the can top, shooting whipped cream up into his face.
He paused, then sighed, deeply, wiping at his face “seriously, wha-”
You lean over abruptly and kiss off some small globs. When you leaned back he was frozen in place.
“Uh….I’m gonna get some water. “ You jumped off his lap and move to run out when the hand still on your wrist tightens. You feel yourself being tugged back again and his arms wrap around  you.  One hand tilts your chin up toward his face and he smiles.
“on second thought maybe i will have a taste of that…”
