We never fully learn how Kurogiri/Oboro viewed Tomura in the end, but its clear that Kurogiri cared enough about Tomura to try rescuing him (against his friend's wishes)

Kurogiri could've been the one who went out of his way to help Tomura, when nobody else would. He could've given Tomura that "helping hand" that nobody else would give

Present mic a d1 crashout for GOOD REASON. Because tf ym he's been putting up a front infront of everyone since the death of his best friend. Instead of managing his own greif and moving past it, he gives everything in his power to make sure his best friend can do that, just to get seemingly no recognition. Then he gets called in to reawaken said dead best friend.

What the fuck???

Because that idea isn't batshit in itself, he continues to make sure Aizawa doesent spiral during AND after, just for shou to not talk about it, not aknowladge that hizashi is hurt, and to overall demean him and his feelings.

How does he respond?

Almost killing his dead best friend (because that's fucking possible) just for the sake of shouta. So shouta doesent get hurt. So shouta's memory isn't tainted, and shouta can move on.

I love Erasermic I live it so much I love them being close and loving each other un whatever shape that takes their friendship (whether they are platonic romantic or some secret third thing) means the world to me and I can’t read an Aizawa fic that doesn’t have it

……..but there’s something about EraserCloud that I just- no, I shan’t say.

I don’t know maybe it’s because this is the single tragedy that Aizawa has defined his entire life around. Maybe because he’s mourned Oboro for longer than he even knew him. Maybe because Aizawa knew him for probably a year and a couple months and he has spent the remaining 15 years of his life dragging this around with him.

Shirakumo Oboro left an indelible mark on Aizawa’s life. Claws sunk in so deep he can still fill his ghost tearing at him. Who even is Aizawa Shouta pro hero Eraserhead if Shirakumo Oboro didn’t die? If he isn’t carrying this tragedy around with him? Aizawa sure doesn’t know.
