• I really wanted to keep him as human at first, but well, i love giving non-human traits to my faves and cat really fits him guys I'm sorry my first thought about him when i started watching him is that qCell is a pathetic wet cat it was predestined really. Anyways, i noticed not many artists (the ones who catboy-ifying him. maybe its just a me problem tho) give him whiskers, so i gave him whiskers👍

• Gray hairs were a random detail i decided to add, but then i gave it some thought and honestly, his life was (still tbh) stressful - so i guess it works👍

• Made half of his hair (not even stopping at just head hair) white just because im extra sometimes. Like, i could stop at just one streak, but why would i do that?

• Got some of his shit together after being taken away by Feds and stopped looking like he is about to pass out from everything really. God bles love truly changes people👍 It doesn't change the horrific eye bags tho, they are never going away, saying as a person with eyes bags, those bad boys are the part of me at this point, so are they for him

• Burn marks are mostly on body, they haven't touched face all that much.

Q!Baghera:

• Okay, like i said, she's human-duckling shapeshifter - what that means, is that she can basically take any form ranging from just a normal human to just a normal duckling. Will point out - not a duck. Duckling.

• q!Baghs usually takes the form that is closer to human, but still has some duckling traits - because they are kinda looking cool and also like that water doesn't bother her nearly as much ig. 70% of her body is actually covered with down feathers - fluffye👍

• Now that i think, wouldn't she kinda easily float in the water? At least a bit? Because of all duckling feathers? Sick.

Q!Etoiles:

• Cucumber👍 Quite literally tho, he doesn't even have blood. Literally edible. Can regrow cut off limbs by sitting in a water for a bit. All that stuff.

• Idk who first thought of kintsugi scars for him, but this person is a genius.

• LEAFY HAIR! The flowers and tendrils are also parts of a hair and they glow! I love when glow!

• Idk, i love the idea of scarf going woosh, so i gave q!Et it👍 The yellow parts if it also glow.

• Star-freckles! Because why won't a cucumber man have star-freckles! Their glow mostly seen in the dark and they also blink.

Q!Tazercraft:

• q!Mike is a creeper hybrid with like 45% of creeper in him. The green parts are really patchy all over the body, and also fluffy. He doesn't explode often (nearly never, not enough creeper in him ig).

• q!Pac is a creature indeed👍 He is something alien-esque - fishlike, that's kinda all i can say. More importantly, he glows and can regulate that glow.

• They weren't always like that tho. They were humans for the most of their life, but something happened (I haven't thought of something yet) and now they are like that👍

• Deffo soulmates in a "they are literally bonded by an actual soul" way.

no new art yet, so let me yap a bit about my Tav/D&D rogue Aerin - did the same kind of post on bluesky so I might as well share stuff here!

art improvement journey under the cut! This is gonna be long and I'm also gonna talk about some stuff I went through over the years as an online artist.

Around 2016-2017 I started playing D&D with a group of friends, so of course I chose the rogue class to start. My DM did not allow drow characters for whatever reason, so Aerin at the time was just a random elf lol. I did not care much since I was very new to D&D.

This is what she looked like in 2017, my very first art of her:

I grew very attached to her during our campaign, roleplaying a smartass rogue that somehow always landed 19 on Perception checks was definitely fun, so of course I had to draw her again. Her skintone changed to be more tanned, her eyes changed color, but she was pretty much the same.

Sadly our campaign ended when the whole group parted ways and the DM kinda disappeared from our lives, yet I still loved my character a lot! I wanted to keep her alive, even without a D&D campaign!

I tried drawing her again in 2020-ish (I think?), but I never finished this:

Looking back, I can really see how much my style changed from anime to whatever it is now. Lmao. The 2020 wip is definitely closer to what I was trying to achieve at the time.

Back in the days I used to be very active on deviantART and Tumblr, but also joined IG for funsies. And oh gods, it was the worst idea I ever had in my entire life. While in 2015-2017 I was extremely productive, I started to slow down a lot, drawing just for the purpose of getting attention. I tried to draw things that were likely to be liked, or DTIYS stuff I didn't even care about. I was extremely uninspired because of how much I tried to please others and not myself.

Unfortunately that is when the big old artblock demon got me - I stopped drawing from 2020 to...2023? Pretty much. Maybe even earlier than that. Just a couple sketches here and there, but many and many months passed with me not even trying to draw anything. The "pressure" of trying to get some likes, being acknowledged etc was what made me stop drawing. I felt extremely unwell about what my art looked like, it was not good enough, I kept trying to change my artstyle to whatever, kept comparing my stuff to other people's works, it really became stressful to even hold a pen. I was pretty sad, cause in my most productive years I drew whatever came to my mind without giving a single f about anything. I completely lost this mentality over the years, so I stopped drawing.

Then Baldur's Gate 3 came out and oh my god. Holy hells.

I kid you not when I say this mf game did wonders to my creativity. Ngl, I already was in the mood for trying to get back to art - I bought a new graphic tablet (smaller, more comfy to use), tried out different brushes, followed some tutorials here and there, sketched a bit whenever I had the time to do it. But Baldur's Gate 3 really dragged me back to that carefree mentality I was yearning for. And after a "trial" run with a random character me and my partner created together, I OF COURSE had to bring back to life my beloved rogue. And finally turned her into a drow, heheh.

In no time I started drawing again, having no idea how to do anything anymore, kinda scared of how the result would look like and boom. Here we go, with Aerin again.

I do not think I am especially good at art. I lack many things (I suck at anatomy and proportions, it takes me ages to finish one piece) but...I can still see the improvement, even after years of not doing anything. It really surprised me. I never stopped observing art - I did not draw, but my eyes were still trained - and somehow this reflected in how I draw nowadays.

I am extremely grateful to this game. It fueled me so much with creativity I literally have too many ideas and things I want to draw (but no time lol), and I don't even care too much about what others may think. I am drawing again for myself, not to please others. I draw what I want.

And honestly, all this big post was just to say:

If you feel overwhelmed by socials and art isn't fun anymore, take a break. It doesn't matter if it's long or short - just take a break. Do not ruin things for you because of a couple of likes or whatever. Instead, try to keep the fun alive. It doesn't matter if your artwork doesn't get shared or liked a billion times. Your art is not worth the number of likes it gets. And if you have fun drawing your stuff, just do it! If you don't have fun in the process, the result is gonna suck for sure. At least for you.

And what if the result is not so good? FUCK IT!!! You cannot improve unless you work hard. You cannot improve unless you draw and keep your eyes trained. Consume art, draw, do whatever works best for you. Every artist, even the best you can think about, started from ugly sketches and cringe art. And keep your old art at hand - you may not notice it yet, but after a year or two go back to your old stuff and compare it to the newest you have. You will definitely notice the difference. That, my fellas, is improvement. It's hard to notice if you compare your last week's artwork with the current one you're working on. Go check older stuff. You ARE improving. You just didn't notice.

Take it from me, I'm an old 31 y/o hag and I have experienced things. Never let the fun dry out.

Last life and by a lot ahahha (not really, but i just don't brainrot others as much as i do LL) (it's Last life > Lim life > 3rd Life and i haven't watched DL at all besides Pearls 1st ep sorry the vibes were just not for me. maybe someday)

It was my first life series i watched live (I watched all povs back then tee hee) and it literally kinda cured me out of ~4 year artblock (hopium it will do it again /hj).

I was just rewatching it (it took me 2 weeks and i nearly finished. yes i rn watching nearly all povs - 122 vids in total) and lord the vibes of it.

I love the feeling of despair that Last life reeks of (and made me feel ahah). I love Boogeyman mechanic. I love enforced Red and Non-Red separation (it added to that despair). I love all the funny bits (the Aha jokes and the Finding diamonds bit are even funnier after 20th time, truly. And that's just the one that i love the most, there's so much more). I love the alliances of Last life and how nearly all of them gone to shit for one tragic reason or another (Southlands and Fairy Fort are my favourite trainwrecks god bles, team BEST was also doomed from start tbh, Scottage/3 G's are fine, and rip Magical Mountain lmao).

While i love the ending of Lim Life the most, i find the ending of Last Life very fitting to it, something something "go out with a whimper, not with a blast" it's a thing for another post i will probably never do.

Last life also contains storylines and relationships i very much brainrot over, or atleast they are to my taste. I love Cleo&BigB (the whole betrayal thing, the way it affected the Fairy fort alliance, Cleo getting revenge in the end- Cleo still doesn't trust him even in Lim Life!!! WHY THERE'S SO LITTLE CONTENT OF THEM GOOD LORD I BARELY SEEN ANY WHAT THE F-). I love Grian&Mumbo (as if it wasn't obvious from yknow. All the posts and a music playlist i made AND ALREADY HAVE MORE SONGS TO ADD INTO. They are best friends. At times it felt like the world itself weren't wanting them to be on the same team insert that one Martyn's quote from the end of his 6th ep I'm not searching for it now. They had a very painful break up. They both destroyed something of the other Mutually Assured Destruction. The love was there, but it didn't save them, or one of them ig. They make me insane btw). I love Etho&Bdubs (not my main brainrot, but lord almighty them). I love Scar (lonely bitch <3, kinda brought in on himself tho) and i love Martyn (he's a lot to unpack and I'm not doing it at 1 am.)

Heyya! It's been like... Centuries since the last time I posted Kuro art related in this blog. Work, artblocks, my IG, & other things has been keeping me very busy😔😔 But hey, I actually draw quite a lot for this one, & I hope y'all like it😌

In case y'all didn't know, a year ago I made a Species Meme just like this for my wolfdog OC & posted it to my IG.

But Then, 2-3 months ago, I got an idea about making a Species Meme for Sebastian since he can transforms into any kinds of creature, & I also always wanna draw him as animals! So, this art meme is very perfect for me :D

Though, I decided to include Ciel later on in the end cuz.. hey, why the hell not??'v')/🥔

Btw fyi, there's actually supposed to be a rectangle for Equine/horse, but I changed it to Cervus/Cervi/Deer species bcus the design I got for Equine! Sebastian is too... Bland for my liking lol😅

For this Demon!Ciel's concept art, I choose to not to make Ciel wear his garters like he usually do. & I also make him wear bow/lace-less boots, y'know- kinda like horse riding boots. I just can't help but feeling kinda uncomfy imagining him fighting with bows/laces & garters lol, I have a feeling they're going to slows him down😅

Demon!Ciel also rarely use his eye patch anymore. He only wears it when he have to interact with humans.

Ciel could transform his familiar form into Chibi/pupper form ... Or as I like to call it, a Potat form🥔🤲😖

The idea of him having a chibi transformation of his Hellhound form is actually inspired from Lumine by Emma Krogell :'D. Like- I can't help it okay? He's too cute🥺

I headcanoning demon!Ciel using his familiar form more often during combat cuz he is self-conscious about how small & fragile-looking he is in his human form:'>

In his familiar form, he can just tanks his enemies & act like a beast without caring his enemies' mockings

Though, Sebastian still trying to help Ciel getting used to fight in his human form because he knows it'll be necessary one day.

music!!! like i said i have a playlist called “songs that make me feel something” and i pull a lot of lyrics from those songs that influence my art (”baby don’t touch me i’m made of chalk” - jealous of the birds, “if only i’d forget you after one last dance” - tamino, “i’ve given my heart to you” - tamino). or its mcr songs, which surprisingly are not in that playlist (demolition lovers). also in general the feeling of certain songs can be something i wish to replicate.

fashion, i love like. ruffles and the textures of cloth and how designers use/change the silhouette of the body to make Beautiful Clothes. omg adding onto this, wwdits is super sexy and i want to draw the characters so bad + nadjas fashion is so yums

24. How do you deal with artblock?

i dont know,, i havent faced quite a severe artblock yet, the last time i wasnt consistently drawing was last year when academics took up most of my time. 

ig sometimes i would just do studies of artwork that i want to emulate, like 3-value studies mostly. or go study anatomy.

It's kinda hard to explain... Ig the best way to say it is that I kinda am him spiritually and mentally? Like, I sometimes will have dreams/memories or I'll miss people from my past despite them being fiction. I also have times where I'll miss my scarf or my paints, or where I want to draw my markings because I just feel so... blank ... Without them. On multiple occasions I've felt nauseous when really excited or sad or any type of strong/overwhelming emotion, or at least I *felt* like I *should* be nauseous. It doesn't feel right sometimes that my eyes don't shift, and sometimes artblock will be very *physically* distressing for me.

Also like a therian, I tend to have "shifts" or periods where I'm more in that mindset and it can cause some dysphoria. Shifts tend to be different in intensity depending on what triggered it and stuff.

(I also really freaking miss my kids. I love my kids and I miss them and it's upsetting when people say I'm a bad parent bc I love my kids I would never I tired my best and-)

I'm sorry I'm so bad at explaining this, I'm mostly using personal experience and I'm having a hard time translating it into text.

There are a bunch of websites and articles I can direct you to if you want to learn more about otherkins/fictionkins in general, since I'm not the best with that... I've only found out about kinning here recently thanks to my moot @ ketchupandaxe who is a horror sans fictionkin and runs their blog to be helpful, I recommend asking them for more because I won't be of much help here.
