OK OK AFTER REWATCHING PARTS OF THE SHOW I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT LEON WOULD BE AN ORANGE SAPPHIRE (PADPARADSCHA)!!!!! LEMME EXPLAIN

So in SU sapphires can see the future yeah? Padparadscha can see the past. SO. Sayaka would be able to see into the future, since she was used for testing dialogue- she has an idea of what people could say next, like yada yada predicting the future. LEON on the other hand, was used more for game mechanics- executions, trials, bla bla bla. Which means he already KNOWS what’s gonna happen- he can see into, and “predict” the past!!!! They would be made in the same “batch” of gems, but Leon would be an off colour sapphire- because he’s always stood out! Remember, the guy didn’t fit in with his baseball team, his family, any group really- he always stood out!! And he was shunned for it!! JUST LIKE THE OFF COLOURS!!

And like I said in my previous post- Sayaka would be the only person who would understand him- since both in this au, and in the context of the actual Danganronpa series- they were made together!!!!!

Maybe Sayaka is the only person who Leon trusts to fuse with at first. Fusion doesn’t need to be romantic, it can be platonic as well. But it needs that basis of trust! Leon has a hard time trusting people! But maybe, Sayaka would be the one person (or gem) who he does trust at first, who he trusts to fuse with him!!

yk how fusion is all about trust for one another no matter what the relationship type is? and yk how Leon is really untrusting of people because of his whole backstory? i think, if he was a gem, he would just… straight up not want to fuse with anyone, since he lacks that sense of trust. i am insane. sorry this is so messy but whateevr
