told a random lady about Clover and said “I’ve always wanted a disabled pet” and she was like “idk that sounds like a lot of work” ?????? excuse me????
#clover IS more work than the average cat but by that I mean they’re the most naughty and exhausting kitten I’ve ever met#I was fully prepared to do more work for clover regarding the lost leg but. clover has required absolutely nothing so far.#just can’t scratch that side of the body so I got a self groomer which clover has not figured out so I just scratch for them#they’re so cuuute when they try to scratch that side of the body with the missing leg because you can see the muscles moving under the skin#like they’re trying so hard to reach but there’s just no leg there poor thing lol#but yeah that’s it. clover can jump shockingly high for a cat with one back leg.#does not jump on the counter though which I think is a good thing#and they’re a great climber. they have a lot of core and upper body strength#BUT the point is. even if clover was more work I was prepared for that!!! and I was excited for it!!! because working means I love clover!!!#my kitties
