speaking as a brown person, but there’s something so uncomfortable and insidious about ppl headcanoning james, harry or hermione as brown or black and then shipping them with canon yt fascist oppressors like draco or regulus… the ships on their own are already bad enough, but if you’re going to ship them anyways at least have the basic decency to keep them all white???

like what level of braindead and out of touch with reality do you have to be to ship PEOPLE OF COLOUR with white oppressors?? especially considering our current political climate in the real world? it’s just so distasteful and angers me as a brown person to see. stop using our ethnicities as accessories for your fascist favs and grow some self awareness for once in your damn lives.
