and with that question, the movie has come to a close! it’s a fantastic little film that closely follows the book. while i would’ve liked to see julia with winston at o’brien’s and the drunk jail lady, the cutting of the gross parsons scene, the addtion of the bloody mouth scene and the possibly hopeful ending make up for it. overall, this is an amazing adaptation of such a great book! :D

Iwaizumi Hajime: proven to be a great leader many times, he knows how to lift spirits up. Unlike Oikawa, he shows his emotions easily, no mask to hide behind. I’d like to think he has a secret interest towards design & graphic design ig. He is the only one who can keep chaton!kawa in check let’s face it. Also kiddo used to collect bugs back in the day: b u g bo y

Oikawa Tooru is like Adrien in many ways, including the hair style. Just like Adrien, Oikawa puts up a facade in public, smiles and waves everywhere, fake smiles most of the time. They both have their fan clubs and Oikawa is the flirty, cheeky type as well. but also v strategic too

Enter Matsukawa Issei & Hanamaki Takahiro for the roles of Alya Césaire & Nino Lahiffe

In canon Mattsun says it that he is glad to not be friends with Oikawa so he’s the Alya of relationship. Remember when Makki went “No Oikawa, don’t do anything, we’re so close to finishing up” but Oikawa opens his mouth and it all ends in tears? Yeah, Makki calling Oikawa on his bs out more please!

These two run something similar to Ladyblog but with more memes, fancams, lq edits and all. These all require footage though... They don’t go around chasing battles obv but somehow the battles always find them so they make use of it. Probably the first ones to discover Iwa and Oikawa’s secret identities.

How can you have early MLB content without Chloe Bourgeois & Sabrina Raincomprix, or should I say: Ushijima Wakatoshi and Tendou Satori:

In this dynamic these two have a balanced friendship. tendou is usually the brains of their plans pranks. (Iwa, Mattsun and Makki hate the pranks more than anything, Oikawa thinks they’re all planned by Ushi for real...)He convinces Ushi that they’ll get Oiks attention with this prank finally! He lowkey wants Ushi to stop chasing Oikawa and see what’s in front of him cough himself cough

Juleka Couffeine & Rose Lavillant the iconic lesbians but now they’re Bokuto Koutarou and Akaashi Keiji

Bokuto gets his emo moments, Akaashi is his sunshine, roses, rainbows and anchor, i won’t explain further or this will get too long...

Finding good matches for Luka and Kagami were hard (since Iwa isn’t that close with anyone): Kageyama Tobio as Luka Couffeine and Kuroo Tetsurou as Kagami Tsurugi

Kageyama and Iwa probably share more of a sibling dynamic (at least on Iwa’s side I’m sure, i’m not keen on shipping Kags w/ seijoh 3rd years) Oikawa doesn’t see that though. Oiks & Kags are in a musical/setter rivalry but Kageyama knowing Iwa and spending time with him? Jealousy ensues...

Kuroo and Oikawa meet during a lab mandatory class one day and hit it off right then and there. It’s mostly banter and occasional flirting though nothing serious. But people who don’t know Kuroo may take the flirting serious (Iwa) jealous iwa-chan hours [open]

Daishou Sigoru as Lila

He is cunning, he has his ways of getting things. He can lie and manupilate others to achieve what he wishes. Kuroo already hates him. (I will probably add more later on...)

Looks like Oikawa, is also a setter in HQ, can act like Oikawa sometimes... Oikawa probably adopted him during his 2nd year, you can’t tell me otherwise. 

Nishinoya Yuu, Hinata Shoyo and Tanaka Ryuunosuke as Alix Kubdel and le Chien Kim:

both Noya and Hinata fit the role and personality of Alix a lot. Plus imagine them with the rabbit miraculous, yeah... 

And how can you have Noya without Tanaka? Karasuno jocks for miraculous jocks, it’s as simple as that. (i will add more)

Daichi Sawamura and Sugawara Koushi as Nathaniel Kurtzberg and Marc Anciel:

(not sure which is which) Daichi seems to fit Nathaniel more personality wise. They’re both more noticable compared to Suga and Marc at first. while the latter lay low until provoked.

But Suga hits me as the more artistic type + I can see him with a crush on one of the superheros (probably Oikawa this time) (i will add more)

A culmination of all the musical genres that have ignited my passion for music in the very first place. I think I will look back and think of this song as one I HAD to produce in order to move on to other things. It's the most reflective of my artistic voice. I grew up loving all forms of music, but I've always been partial of music that can make you move. Genres that were energetic by nature (Jazz, Funk, & Hip-Hop) have always had a soft spot in my heart. Electrocute is the one track on The Jazzmen Invasion that combines all 3 of those genres & applies them to their fullest effect. In it, I channel 1/3 Eminem, 1/3 Prince, & 1/3 Frank Sinatra; a blend that could be hard to swallow. I always tell people my genre of music is neither jazz nor funk, it's Jazz+Funk. So I see that a lot more songs in my future would build off of the Electrocute formula.

Currently… I've put together an outfit of wonderful musicians who I've reached out to help me re-interpret the music on the EP to a wider live audience. We are Funk Sway, the driving force of the Jazzmen Invasion. With a band of musicians that I trust to carry out my vision with me, new music, & subsequently, new music videos, social media content, etc. will also be inevitable. I am working on building the NOVA movement one song at a time.

“let me” - ★★★✩✩ - the melody is a bop and a half, but i can’t stop rolling my eyes at “for the rest of my life” bc………… nobody can promise that lmao. also… is he still with gigi?? who he singin to. the falsetto won me over tho

“natural” - ★★★½✩ - issa tune i can groove to, but the lyrics are a teeeeny bit lackluster (my expectations are sky-high though lmao). like why did he repeat “like the bluest ocean”…… no need for it. and could he not think of other forces of nature than a hurricane?? bruh i can think of six off the top of my head. also the “come together right now” bit makes me wanna say “over me”

changkyun: my friend showed me the hero mv and okay he’s actually her bias so i didnt pay too much attention to him at first (my eyes were only looking at hyungwon smh) but i did freak out over his schoolboy q hoodie :) it was only much later on that i began paying more attention to him, like at one point i double biased him and kihyun, until eventually i chose him when rewatching right now 

yoongi: i saw him in the dope mv in those teen react things idk but again i didnt pay attention to him until later and im not exactly sure how or when but at some point i just wouldnt shut up about him and everyone around me insisted that he was my bias and i was like ????

yoongi: i love how hardworking he is, working on his mixtape for years before he was ready to share it. I love how passionate, and honest, and raw  he is. how he raps with a passion, evident in his voice, sometimes even tearing up. his music makes me tear up and feel things and im so proud of him. hes brave and strong, writing about his mental illness and the struggles he faced to get where he is now. 

wonwoo: lmao hes literally my soulmate okay. the first time i noticed him was in one fine day when he kept referring to the plants as his children and i was like lmao same. his sense of humor is the greatest thing okay i love his lame jokes and puns and how hes super quiet but such a shit when he wants to be :’)) i love how he messes with the other members and convinces them to do as he says so they get in trouble instead hahaha. also when he laughs his nose scrunches up and its the cutest thing i love him

changkyun: where do i begin???? i love him bc he makes me laugh and theres so much to him, so much depth. i love how hes just himself and yet still gets embarrassed super easily (i live for his embarrassed smile wow) i love how ticklish he is and the high-pitched squeals he does when he gets tickled. i love how hard he tried to get the kids to like him in that ep of monsta x-ray, how he memorized their names and how he tried not to scare them with his deep voice. i love his random little antics that sometimes catch me off guard but makes my heart warm. i love how much of a meme he is :’)

yoongi: i love how despite everyone assuming hes lazy and uncaring, hes actually working super hard doing what he loves, and he cares a whole lot, it’s just in less obvious ways. i love his gummy smile, and how soft he can be, his laugh and his little crazy dances when hes excited. i love how sometimes when he raps and hes really passionate, he ends up growling. i love how tiny and cute he is, especially when hes wearing a hoodie :’))
