Tumblr media
when i first made this account in 2020, i was a continent away from home, experiencing one of the harshest lockdown in the world, and struggling to survive my master's studies. watching digimon was one of my solitude, so i decided to jump into the community while channeling my hobby of writing and designing. you know i was never a consistent poster (and had gone m.i.a. too often lol) so i didn’t expect 1k followers. but despite the numbers, the most important thing is i feel welcomed in this old-but-gold community. i also make friends and i hope to cherish this friendship even though maybe later on i will be no longer active on tumblr.
while i'm not the one who celebrates often, i tried to think of something. but with quite a little time, i cannot make something grand. so all i can do now is to share some digimon .png files i’ve used for some of my works. i had invested in cleaning up backgrounds and such, and i know how hard it is to find some good-quality images that are easy to tweak. so i hope this will come useful for the community :)
the pack consist of:
kizuna shikishi
kizuna promotional art without the shadow
adventure village vanguard
tamers dvd box scans

CHAPTER 3
26th July, 2020.
05:00 pm.
Delhi.
FRIENDS WHO BECAME FAMILY
16th June, 2018.
10:00 am.
Bangalore.
A month passed. Initially, I was treated as the ultimate “outsider”. No, they were friendly, but maybe it was my resting bitch face, or the fact that I was never the one to initiate a conversation, or the one who’d laugh uselessly at lame jokes, unless I actually found them funny - I was treated as this superficial girl from Delhi who has her own air, doesn’t talk to females (though I barely spoke to men either, unless they spoke to me) and is a complete bitch.
I didn’t make efforts too. Just, me being me. I would seldom have conversations with Mario, and that was it. But, as they say, destiny brings people in our lives unexpectedly. If we’re meant to cross paths, we do. Some stay, some leave, some become close friends. Some, family. That’s exactly what happened.
After Mario, the second friend I made in my class was Jayant. A Bengali guy from Delhi. And because of the same place we hailed from, there was an instant connection. I found myself lucky to have at least found somebody who knew what missing Delhi in Bangalore feels like. Though Jayant had been in Bangalore for quite a few years now, working in a journalism firm, still, the feeling was relatable.
One of the lunch breaks in the first week in college, I was sitting apart working on some assignments while I sipped my juice, while the other girls sat in a circle talking about something I had no clue about. They called, but I didn’t feel much like myself around there and so, politely had my way out.
I tried to apply some brains into this Information Technology assignment ( I’ve always been a tech virgin) when I see a palm before my eyes, out for a handshake, and a voice calls, “Hey, I’m Ananth”.
“Hi, I’m Ayushi”, I said with a faint smile. That marked the start of a friendship that I was to cherish for a lifetime. We had a small talk, and I learnt he belonged to Chennai, and had come to Christ, after a considerable work experience. Something which was an asset. Enough for freshers like us around, to consider him as somebody from another planet altogether, who’d have the magic key to all assignments, by default. And so, it happened. He carried the magic key all through the two years, being far ahead of the times, when it came to any technicalities of the course. Besides that, he went on to become of the closest friends I made in Bangalore.
The bell rang, and the next professor who came asked us to do the most dreaded thing at the time. Introduce ourselves, and then talk about ourselves for a few minutes. The average age of the class would have been around twenty three, and yet talking about ourselves seemed like manual labour. As everybody struggled to think about things to speak about themselves, I realised how little we knew our own selves. We barely knew our hobbies, likes and dislikes, or maybe just never gave enough attention to ourselves. “Such shallow times we lived in”, I thought. After a torturous one hour session, as we moved out for lunch, I stayed back, hoping for the way to clear out before I’d move.
As I looked around, I saw this man, with a sharp jawline, and the expression of a child who’d be beaten and sent to school. It was embarrassing when he looked up just that moment and saw me looking at him. I passed a friendly, rather nervous smile and started preparing to leave for lunch.
“Hey! You’re Ayushi, right?” It was Rishav, as I reached the door.
“Yes,” I smiled.
“You’re from Delhi?”
“Yes, how’d you know?” I said, feeling how stupid that was, the instant I asked that.
“I heard you say that while you introduced yourself.”
“And you’re from Assam?”
“Yeah.”
“If you don’t mind me asking, why do you have that cranky look as if somebody stole your lunch?” I laughed as I asked.
“I just hate being around, I don’t know what am I doing in a B-school anyway!” He sulked.
And just like that, before we knew it, we started speaking. It was comfortable. Instantly. That comfort I felt with him in our first conversation, remained unchanged in all ups and downs in the years to unfold. Maybe that’s how it is with friends, who’d later turn out to be your closest confidant. We would quarrel like cats and dogs, but when I cried, the first face I saw was his.
Then I came across Anish. The Tulu guy who would usually wear funny looking shirts to college, sometimes with stars and moon printed on it and other times some funny looking birds. He would make everybody laugh, as soon as he opened his mouth to speak something. The weirdest guy in the whole wide world. Somebody I never thought I’d even ever make friends with, in my entire life, but I grew to love later. My best friend, my gossip partner, my venting machine, and the closest thing I had to family. We’d spend hours smoking up, discussing who the hottest guy in college was, who’s the nastiest bitch around, who dumped who already, and what not. From the cosmic space to the cats who’d litter his house, we’d gossip about everything, without a single dull moment. Even silence was comfortable with him around.
Overtime, I made friends with the Mallu gang in my class – Hari and Arun precisely. There were others too, but these were the ones, who’d later be added in the list of closest friends. We shared a strong bond of friendship, which made a totally unknown place that I had gone to, feel like home. It felt like I’d known them forever.
Some other friends I made in that class were Shekhar, a quiet guy with a constant smile on his face, and Chandana, one of the most intelligent people around. Both of them had a great role to play in my life, as a constant support system, in my two years in Christ. Jayant left college a while later. He had got an opportunity to pursue a journalism course, one that he had always wished for, in one of the best colleges in Delhi. A few weeks after he had received the news, he was gone. Though I shared a brief time with him, I cherish it till date, and always will.
Sometime later, around August, I moved in, into a three room apartment with two other Telugu girls from my class, Nikitha and Tejaswi, who had turned out to be really good friends by that time. Initially, I had preferred staying alone, but since my mother insisted I should stay with somebody who is aware of the languages of the region, and also since Tejaswi was looking for a house as well, we decided we’d move in together. Nikitha moved in a couple of weeks later. Tejaswi did not seem really happy about a third person moving in at first, as the space was just right for the two of us and we had decided to use the third room as the guest room, but since Nikitha was urgently looking for a place and I really wanted to help, I persuaded Tejaswi somehow. She was kind enough to finally agree.
All these people were my solace in the new city I knew nothing about. We shared some amazing times. The assignments, the last minute exam anxiety, and the chill weekends which followed, teasing each other till they cried and falling off the bed, laughing, till our stomachs hurt, it was an exciting and yet a peaceful world of its own, with friends that became family. A family that I’d cherish for life!

4 reasons why platinum jewellery needs to be a part of every brides trousseau
Tumblr media
Shopping for a wedding can be both fun and stressful. While there is tremendous excitement during planning the celebrations and buying outfits and jewellery, the thought of ‘is it good enough’ or ‘what is good enough’ is a common concern for the bride and her family.
Take for instance, jewellery shopping. Buying jewellery is usually a collective decision of the family. Parents insist on their daughters buying traditional pieces, such as maharani haars and polki sets, that are true to Indian culture; however, modern-age brides prefer contemporary pieces that are wearable daily. Often faced with these qualms, brides struggle to balance the asks of tradition with her want for modernity. As a result, the bride ends up having jewellery that’s sitting in her locker.
We have something for the brides to consider. While we know that one can’t avoid buying two-three traditional gold and polki wedding pieces, changing times call for newer additions that add a fresh perspective to your trousseau.
Enter, the world of platinum jewellery. Crafted from the rare and precious metal, this jewellery is nothing like anything you’ve worn so far. Being 30 times rarer than gold, this jewellery is far more exquisite and exclusive. Furthermore, platinum’s naturally white colour and understated sheen complements the multitasking personality of today’s brides.
Platinum Evara’s trousseau jewellery range has the most thoughtfully designed collection – packed with contemporary designs that are fluid, and standout pieces that have a universal appeal. This line will make for the most versatile and wearable pieces of trousseau jewellery you will ever have.
We tell you why Platinum Evara should be an integral part of your bridal trousseau:
Versatile Pairing We understand that you will not be a bride forever and practicality needs to be packed in your trousseau. And, Platinum Evara’s new collection is your best bet. Contemporary yet classic, the designs keep your fashion-forward choices in mind. They are unique and classy that balance modernity with traditional influences to truly resonate with your sartorial taste and personal style.

This braided necklace, that sits like a choker, is stylish yet understated and beautifully accentuates Ayushi’s off shoulder cocktail dress. Coupled with a braided bracelet it makes just the right statement at your special dinner or brunch date.

Crafted with an ‘interlinked’ design using universal motifs like beads, pellets, circular links, the collection is a modern interpretation of classic designs that will never go out of style . From this elegant bracelet and earrings to multiple chains necklaces infused with rose gold, the designs gracefully accentuate the unique style and personalities of any modern day bride.
Contemporary designs This collection is a modern interpretation of classic designs that will never go out of style. The fluid, yet distinct designs, accentuate the unique style and personalities of any modern day bride. “When there’s lots to do and very little time to be ready to host, my platinum jewellery always does the trick. Hassle-free and alluring, it adds just the right amount of elegance and sparkle.” Ayushi Bangur Sahu.

Inline with Global Trends Minimalism is gradually becoming the new normal, globally. Millennials, like you, are digital globe trotters who are watching and taking inspiration from across the world. Masters of self-expression, our generation seeks designs that are understated yet distinctive. Now, a combination of tradition and modern aesthetic gives you the choice of novelty. Inspired by the global trend of modern feminine design, Platinum Evara’s new collection is minimal and fulfilling in every sense. The designs are unique and classy that balance modernity with traditional influences to exude elegance. Subtly interspersed with diamond embellishments the range is designed to make a mark without creating a splash.
Tumblr media
Platinum Evara is made with the rarest of precious metals, platinum. A naturally white metal, platinum does not fade with use or cast any colour onto a diamond, unlike gold or white gold. Not only is it 30 times rarer than gold, it is also 40% denser, making it the most secure metal to hold any precious gems. We understand that your trousseau is very dear to you because it is a reflection of all the love and blessings bestowed upon you by your parents. So be sure to symbolize something as precious and rare as the relationship between your parents and you with a metal only as rare as platinum and befitting to your tastes.

Vande Bharat Mission: Grateful to be back home, say students despite costly tickets; lack of in-flight social distancing spooks passengers
Air India on 7 May began its first phase of one of the largest repatriation operations conducted by the government with as many as 64 flights flying to 12 international destinations to airlift about 15,000 stranded Indians who are stuck overseas due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
The flights are operating from 12 countries in the first phase between 7 to 13 May, while in phase two, the government is set to conduct evacuations from 31 countries with 149 flights between 16 to 22 May.
According to the government's elaborate evacuation, named Vande Bharat Mission, 40 of these special flights is operated by Air India while its subsidiary Air India Express is operating 24 flights to repatriate Indians from 12 countries — UAE, UK, US, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman, officials told PTI.
Officials had also indicated that priority will be given to compelling cases such as medical, senior citizens, family emergencies, and those who are unemployed.
The first phase of Vande Bharat Mission is currently on in full swing. As of 12 May (Tuesday), as many as 6,037 Indian nationals have been evacuated in 31 inbound flights operated by Air India and Air India Express under Vande Bharat Mission, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Firstpost spoke to some passengers on these special flights about their journey back home. While most of the passengers were grateful for the opportunity to return home, they felt 'blindsided' by the lack of communication by officials, not only to the run-up to the flight and also right through their journey home.
Lack of prior notice, price-hike of tickets cause stress
The 23-year old Samruddhi Lunkad, a post-graduate student at the University of Sussex told Firstpost, "On 8 May, I got a call in the evening saying I was shortlisted for the flight, which was the next morning. I live in Brighton, and London is about two hours away."
In a desperate attempt to get assured tickets, she packed up her bags and left for Heathrow Airport, in hope that she would be able to purchase a ticket at the airport directly, which paid off. But at a big cost.
"The Air India officials at the airport told me they had only one ticket left, which was a business class ticket at the price of 1,438 pounds (Rs 1,32,000)," she said. Lunkad bought it, "It was hard to collect the money since I am a student, but I had a few relatives wire me cash on the spot and I took the ticket."
Another passenger on the same flight, 23-year-old Ayushi Shah, a masters student at Newcastle University, also noted the hike in prices. Unlike Samruddhi, she travelled in economy class, which normally costs about Rs 25,000 for a one-way trip, but now costed her over Rs 50,000.
Ayushi too struggled to get information about her tickets, written or verbal. "I just got a call the night before the flight telling me I had been shortlisted and if I wanted to go back home, I had to make it in time for the plan the next morning," she told Firstpost.
Living four hours away from London in Newcastle, she relied on a student help organisation called Education Beyond Borders, and Community Response Kitchen provided her with free stay and a drop to the airport. Shah took to Twitter to live-tweet about her journey home.

No social distancing onboard, long waiting hours
Both the students noted the lack of social distancing maintained throughout the flight. Ayushi said, "We were told at the London Airport that there would not be any social distancing on the plane. Over 300 passengers on a plane with no social distancing maintained? The officials told us that this was an approved government mandate to facilitate maximum passengers on the plane."
As per government protocol, it was mandatory for the passengers to download the contact-tracing government application Aarogya Setu, before boarding the flight.
During the entire duration of the flight, "no social distancing was maintained what so ever", the students noted. Samuruddhi said, "The entire flight was booked, no seat was for free."
Meenketan Jha, a 22-year-old student at Columbia University told Firstpost, "Social distancing practices were thrown out the window here. On the flight, passengers were seated next to each other rather than there being a space between two individuals. The in-flight entertainment was not working and in a 15-hour flight, it can form an absolute despair sort of situation."
He also noted that the entire journey was longer than usual, due to the various protocols that needed to be done. "We landed at 1 am but we didn’t get off the flight till 2.15 am and by the time we got out of the airport it was already 5.15 am," he said.
Either way, all passengers have spent a lot of money out of their pockets to get home.
Choice of hotels based on budget given to self-quarantine
Upon landing in Mumbai, the body temperatures of the passengers were taken again and their bags were sanitised. After getting through immigration, all passengers are shifted to buses to take them to their selected government-approved quarantine centres. The passengers are given a choice based on their budget from 3-star to 5-star hotels to pick from, where they have to self-isolate for 14 days.
The prices of these hotels range from Rs 2,000 to 5,000 per day, which gets multiplied into 14 days.
Garima Kalra, a student who was airlifted from the Philippines noted that the free of cost facilities from the government was not adequate. "The accommodation provided by the Centre had no proper water, food, or proper hygiene." She chose to pick a hotel instead to self-isolate.
Garima said, "First we had to pay an advance of Rs 10,000 and only then did the hotel let us enter. This system was out of reach for us. We were dead tired and nobody took care of that. Personally, I was so tired so when I came to the hotel finally, I felt as if I could faint any time but I had to wait in line maintaining social distance and finish all the formalities."
While students in Mumbai got to choose a hotel in Mumbai, Samruddhi was shifted to a hotel not of her choice. "After getting out of the airport, Pune passengers were driven to the city on a bus. Throughout the drive, ever since we landed, we were not given water or food. With all the shops closed, we could not even buy any. All of us were tired and starved," she said.
When she tried to enquire about why the bus could not drop her off at her selected hotel, the officials did not answer. "Through the entire journey, getting even one answer out of them was so hard. There was just nobody I could approach with my questions. The whole time we were kept in the dark, Finally, we reached Pune, only to be isolated on the outskirts of the city limits," Samruddhi added.
Samruddhi was coerced into paying for the hotel even though she had booked another hotel prior, as the officials told her "she had no other option".
Zubin George, another student at the University of Sussex who took the flight from London to Bengaluru noted that the entire process was "better than anticipated". He is currently self-isolating in a 5-star property in Bengaluru, which provides for three meals and highlighted that the price of the hotel room was actually marked down. "You wouldn't normally get a single-occupancy room with all meals provided for in such a price," he told Firstpost.
Minimum passenger-crew interaction for safety of cabin crew, says Air India
An Air India cabin crew member, Swati (*name changed to protect identity) spoke to Firstpost about the various precautions taken by the carrier for these special flights. She said before the passengers were allowed to board, their temperatures are taken.
"All the seats on the flight have a small safety box, which consists of — a glove, a mask, a small sanitizer, and a visor," she said. Two food packets with cupcakes, sandwiches, juice boxes, and a one-liter water bottle were placed along with the safety kit on each passenger's seat.
But Zubin, who took the flight from London to Bengaluru, noted that the last few rows of the airplane were not given the safety kits. "Maybe, they ran out of supplies, but my seat did not have these kits. Thankfully everyone was carrying their own masks and gloves so it wasn't too much of a hassle," he said.
Swati also said that crew members are not allowed to serve or talk to any of the passengers, unless necessary. "We don't serve anything as everything is placed on their seats, to minimise interaction with cabin crew and the passengers. All crew members are to wear hazmat suits, masks, gloves, shoe covers, and visor, so were are given all safety equipment," she said.
All crew members, including pilots, before taking part in such missions, are made to take COVID-19 tests, five to six days before the slated flight. "We are monitored even before the flight takes off and are quarantined for 14 days on landing, in government-stipulated centres," she said.
In all, 'grateful' to be back home
All the passengers agreed that even though there were some hiccups in communication from the Centre or the respective embassies, they were 'extremely grateful' for being back home. "The Air India staff did the best of what they could and we are thankful for the Indian Embassy and the government to take on such a massive evacuation during such trying times."

Indian business braces for disruption ahead of GST
India is bracing for upheaval as it storms ahead with its most ambitious reform in decades -- transforming the world's fastest growing major economy into a single market for the first time.
The long-awaited goods and services tax (GST) rolls out Saturday even as businesses complain they are ill-prepared for the massive changes about to ripple through India's unwieldy, $2 trillion economy.
The government promises the new regime will not just simplify trade by replacing more than a dozen levies with one tax, but combat corruption and enrichen state coffers by bringing the informal economy into the digital era.
Most economists agree the reform -- first proposed in 2006 -- is necessary and long overdue, but warn the initial shock to the economy is likely to drag, rather than stoke, growth in the short term as businesses adjust.
There are already signs the transition could be rocky.
Industries are on strike, others are facing an avalanche of paperwork, while some retailers remain unclear about what to charge just days before the taxes take effect.
"There are different rates for a mobile set, charger and headphones -- all of which come in one box," said Praveen Khandelwal, secretary general of Confederation of All India Traders, pointing to one such example.
"What tax rate will be applicable in such a scenario? We don't know yet."
It took more than a decade to get the GST through parliament and political bickering over the particulars now means there are four tax rates instead of one as originally envisioned.
A slew of basic staples like fresh vegetables and milk are exempted, along with less obvious items like temple offerings, the national flag and human hair.
So-called "sin" goods like tobacco will be slapped with extra levies, while states will still be allowed to separately tax some products including alcohol, petrol and aviation fuel.
Some industries have suddenly discovered their products elevated to a higher tax bracket.
Fireworks manufacturers are protesting over crackers being taxed at the maximum of 28 per cent, while garment and textile workers are crying foul over heightened imposts.
Ayushi Gudwani, who runs online fashion startup Fable Street, supports the creation of a common market but was shocked to learn her taxes had more than doubled.
"Our profitability will be hit," she told told AFP.
Costs are also mounting at India's largest logistics firm Safexpress, which has hired 40 new staff to process a mountain of new paperwork.
Under the new regime, companies must file a tax return in every state they pass through -- a nightmare for a trucking company shipping goods nationwide. For Safexpress, that means instead of filing two annual tax returns they must submit 1,400, said managing director Rubal Jain.
"It's going to be a lot of confusion and chaos and back and forth for the next three months, because no one knows what will happen," he told AFP.
"It'll be great in the long run, but transition will be a pain."
All but the smallest businesses will now be required to declare their earnings online, an effort to broaden India's woefully small tax base, digitise the economy and flush out cash hoarders.
But training employers to log tax information online presents immense challenges in India, where most small and informal businesses don`t own computers, let alone access the internet, the trade association said.
Safexpress cannot file its own returns until drivers upload their monthly invoices -- a huge ask for truckers used to delivering goods, not paperwork, Jain said. Gudwani meanwhile worries her suppliers -- mostly tiny businesses -- will struggle to get the hang of issuing receipts and wind up losing contracts.
India has one of the lowest tax-to-GDP ratios in the world and these changes, though initially painful, will have a "significant impact" on compliance, said Neelkanth Mishra, managing director at Credit Suisse.
"India is like a house under renovation. While the new parts are being built, no one will be happy," he told AFP.
The sweeping reforms comes less than a year after Prime Minister Narendra Modi devalued India`s largest banknotes in a sudden move designed to outmanoeuvre tax cheats, but was blamed for a crippling cash shortage and slowing growth.
To avoid a similarly rough landing, the government has trained 60,000 tax bureaucrats and run sessions with private accountants to ensure everyone is up to speed on the finer points of the GST.
A GST Council has spent months thrashing out the final legislation, which was blocked in parliament for a year until an amended version was approved. "This is a tax reform that was needed," said Sunil Sinha, principal economist at Fitch India.
"We came into existence as a nation in 1947 but never had a common Indian market. GST will make India one."

just sitting here in an empty dorm room
alone, with all my stuff basically packed. here’s a reflection on this past school year.
Sophomore year was the absolute fucking best. I can tell you right now. If you knew me in high school, I am not that girl anymore. Forget her. She’s changed, she’s reinvented, she’s met people who taught her more than she ever thought she’d care to learn. But most importantly, she’s happier than she’s ever been before. My heart is so full.
Here’s where I was exactly one year ago. The end of freshmen year was a crazy mess. I was still in the mindset that I wanted to transfer. I did not feel as though I belonged at my school, I had my friends (Liz, Nolan, Ken) but I found myself needing a break from them and looking forward to the time apart. I barely kept in contact with them over break until I came back in August. I studied all the time. I didn’t get the grades I wanted and became so frustrated because I thought I was so hardworking. That I studied nonstop and didn’t deserve to be getting my GPA completely shafted. I didn’t go out much except for once. I didn’t drink. Didn’t smoke (still don’t!). I posted so many selfies on snapchat (god i’m shameful); I cared about my image on social media platforms. I was constantly feeling sensitive and bitter about everything. I was shy and never spoke in class. I didn’t like to go to office hours or anything because I was too prideful to ask for help. I was judgmental and haughty. Wow as I type this I actually hate myself.
Don’t get me wrong. One year of college was a huge stepping stone in the right direction which I’m going in now. But this past semester was the push I needed to be the best version of myself.
This past year I’ve branched out. I met a guy on January 5th. We talked a lot over the semester, ( facetime, text, etc. )and in the end, two weeks before I was supposed to go home for summer break, he told me that he started falling for another girl and could not wait for me. While that made me sad initially, it did not take me half as long as I expected to get over (based on who I used to be). I am now planning to go home tomorrow and be friends because while what he did was absolutely shitty, I know that over the four months I talked to him, he is not a bad guy. I started going to office hours and swallowed my pride to get a tutor when I noticed I was struggling. I volunteered for a class presentation(!!) which is a biggie because never in a million years would I ever be the type to do that. I made so many friends: Matt, Morgan, Fernando, Chantel, Brendan*, Allison*, Drew*, Lexie, Ayushi, Kevin, Nick, Jessica, Emily, Shriyaa, Alex, Himanish, Krishna, Abid*, Rachel, Hannah*. I hope I’m not leaving anyone out. But all these people came into my life and I appreciate all of them so greatly. I drink now and partied more. And I’m NOT saying that’s the key to happiness. But I’m saying it’s important to realize that yes, grades are important. However, you’re not paying tuition to study all the time. You’re paying for a college experience. Do not be afraid to let loose and have fun because this is what makes you feel your tuition’s worth. But basically I learned that studying hard all the time is not the way to go for me. Work hard, play harder. Guys, I went to seven parties in two days during Grand Prix week. I am surprised at myself. Despite the fact that I started having way more fun, my grades are seriously better than they’ve ever been. You won’t believe what an effect in mindset and mood can do for you. Happy girl leads to happy grades. I truly believe that. I spent winter break facetiming my best friends in college every day. I suddenly felt myself MISSING Purdue during breaks which is absolutely crazy. I want to spend every waking moment with my friends and I just freaking love college now and it makes me so happy to feel this way.
So yes. That is my sophomore year. Thank you to everyone who became a part of it. Special thank you to Nolan, Liz, Brendan, Allison.

I’m starting to think if rewriting Animania from start to finish with a better plot, better characterisation and a better writing style might be the best way for me to get the hang of things once again.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GIVE MY CROSSOVER POSTS A NOTE
Lol, jk jk. I’ve been re-reading it recently and Idk why I so truly enjoy that story despite the hot mess it is (it barely has ANY Mimato in it, can’t believe I wrote it, there’s literally more Kai x Yamato bromance in it than Mimato interactions 🤣) . It’s just the way Ash ties everyone together , the way he becomes the glue that makes the group stick is what gets to me and I want to be able to experience that again.
I dunno maybe I’ll rewrite certain scenes and post snippets here (because where else would I drop by with this crazy) and see how it goes. I definitely need to rework the plot however, because I can’t imagine myself writing Yamato without Mimi now so yeah. But also I just love the opening scene of that fic so so so much, maybe I’ll post it here tonight 👀🫣
Anyway random incoherent PokeDigiBey rant over!! Just in case you don’t want to see the crossover content, you can blacklist: #pokedigibey posting

I hope you guys don’t mind me being so annoying early in the morning, but I just totalled up my word count for all my Mimato Week entries and 🥹
I wrote a total of 30k words this week 🥳
I’m very proud of myself for managing to post a chapter/oneshot every day, even despite the busy work week and the hours I needed to log onto the part time course I’m doing online on a daily basis. That’s why I think I deserve (?) this shoutout to myself, I’ll delete this later 💀
I’m going to take a break from writing until Mimi week rolls around. And by break I mean, obsess over TyHil 😂 I miss them already 😭 Anyway TyHil besties should stay tuned because I have a very special announcement for us all at the end of September 🥰

Okay this year for a change TWO national holidays decided to fall very conveniently around each other, so I’m starting my 5 day weekend today!
My only goals are to finish at least 3 more chapters of Digimon Survive and finish 70% of my Mimato week entries.

Does this mean...I can safely debut my “Takeru is in love with Daisuke but Daisuke is in love with Hikari but Hikari is in love with Takeru” content?

Quick help needed from the Digimon 02 fandom!
I’m working on my Odaiba Day edit, and tumblr only allows 10 images in a post. So I’m gonna need to club two characters in one edit and I need your advice in picking the combination -
1) Daisuke & Ken / Miyako & Iori
2) Daisuke & Iori /Miyako & Ken
3) Daisuke & Miyako / Iori & Ken
Lemme know which one is the best combo before 1st August 🫶🏻

Wrote 4k worth of something so absolutely self-indulgent today, I’m actually so happy with it. (of course it was tyhil with a little bit of everything else dropped in between)
October writing goals are a behemoth, need to channel my Mimato Week energy again -
Update for Lilacs
Mimato Year - October Update (help I have no ideas 🫠)
TyHil Ghost AU Part 3
Another TyHil update (hopefully-also this one is optional because the priority is Ghost AU)
Pokeshipping Week fics ( Need to draft at least 2/4)
TyHil month fic (Need to draft at least 1/4 - so it doesn’t clash with Pokeshipping Week)
Posting this all here so in case you want a sneak peak of the WIPs you can send me an ask anytime, which will also keep me in check and on track through the month 🫣

When I say I literally insert TyHil into ANYTHING, I mean it with all my heart.
I’ve been planning out and slowly writing Lilacs Blooming in the Snow  and of course I need a lot of extras for the background, and I thought of including the 02 kids but then there’s just 4 of them and Idk much about their characters anyway, so I gave them tiny roles but there was still one sorta important role remaining, which was the owner of the Inn Yamato and Mimi make their base when they go to Hokkaido, so of course I named the owners Takao and Hiromi, everyone’s just gonna have to deal with this fact when the story comes out.
AND FAIR WARNING
If you see a Satoshi or Kasumi in there somewhere, then just know that I’m incapable of making ocs and these characters are pretty much going to show up in whatever the hell I decide to write.
