drew some of my fav ody designs! wasnt originally meant to be also replicating the styles but thats sort of just how my brain works. except i didnt copy the lineart styles of anyone here so its DEFINITELY a bit uncanny for a couple of these (LOOKING AT YOU QINNY IM SO SORRY) but whatever

WITH A GUN. gfrdfvb vfrdedrf #i am a very normal non anxiety having person i swear guys #worst thing i did here was have odys hands very visible for the qinny one. because i didnt realize the way they draw hands is very realisti #BUT THEIR WHOLE STYLE HAS REALLY REALISTIC ANATOMY I SHOULVE KNOWN #irunakis style is SO fun to draw in bc its a lot like some of my older art so its very familiar yk yk i wasnt worrying too much about makin #-things accurate. but i think that accidentally made me too comfortable and so i ended up straying a bit too much #i think a lot of irunaki and qinnys styles specifically is in the lineart. so me using my normal style of lines makes them less recognizabl #anyways. neals odysseus i have shit talked in private (its a good design it just feels uncanny w/ jorges voice to me) but hes really-#-interesting to draw. i wanna do style studies on neal their characters have a very. idk animated feels like the wrong word but like.#something like animated. feeling to them. theyre very distinct in shape i wanna do studies thats it #bigidiotenergy i found this morning while FINALLY looking at cloudysseus art and instantly fell in love w their design #i need to ruffle his hair. hes so silly. absolutely incredible design. but GOD was the style a nightmare #it was too late id already comitted to trying to replicate the styles. but ohhh my god its so far from my own it was so hard #theres so much detail in places i dont normally put any at all #and its like. WAUGH its scary i need to do anatomy studies in general maybe #uhh havent commented on the gigi one. he was really easy to draw though lol. weirdly enough gigis style was close enough to my current one-#-that i didnt have any trouble whatsoever? and i think its the most accurate too but only because of the lineart styles being similar lol #ALSO NOT TO PLAY FAVORITES BUT FOOP ODYSSEUS IS MY FAVORITE #I LOVE HIMMM I LOVE HIS SILLY SHAPES HE LOOKS LIKE A WEIRD CAT KINDA. #wolf 359 #w359 #doug eiffel #hera wolf 359 #hera w359 #art #id in alt text #i've been holding onto this one for a little while. for no particular reason i just wanted to.#but here it is #thank you so so much!!#incredible eye for detail as always and i'm obsessed with how you draw people. and also. everything #this is such a good eiffel. the circle kind of suggesting a helmet worked out so well. the way you did the star!! the glitch effects!!#the use of an actual sound clip and the heart monitor through it and all of it through his chest. genius to me.#and this ended up leaning more in the direction of eiffel's general repeated misfortune but i also really love the element of #eiffel and hera both being prisoners treated as test subjects. i like how it can read as much like him being pulled away as falling.#and with the soundwave and communication as a bridge and that specific clip from mayday and hera being the voice in his head that saves him #etc. etc. i love it thank you so much again!! <3

I think the order of reasons Katniss gives for why Peeta shouldn't be mad at her for playing up their romance is so funny. Like she starts with the fact that they didn't know each other and she was trying to survive and that she doesn't understand what exists between her and Gale. But then she goes into "well I'm never going to get married and he'll just hate me for that!" and "I can't afford love that leads to children or family!"

Girl. Why are you thinking about marriage or children with a man you claim you have no feelings for? Did Peeta ever say he wanted to get married? Did he ever say he wanted children?

NO! Katniss is literally doing this all on her own! She's coming up with a happily-ever-after-domestic-bliss-married-with-kids fantasy in her head with absolutely no input from Peeta and then is like "I could never give him what he wants!"

What he wants? Or what you want, Katnsis?

She's down so bad for him and we're not even in Catching Fire yet.

way back in like. march?? I took a stab at writing some kind of kabitserye type of story but it was a mess: it kept veering off into murder mystery drama territory because I was reading a lot of murder mystery novels around then and it Wasn't Good because I hadn't tried writing mysteries, let alone murder mysteries, before lmao

I did write a handful of short mystery stories since then, so next year I might take a stab at this idea again now that I'm no longer jumping head first into a genre pool I don't know how to swim in :)

#now for the part where i have to fight off the impulse to write in some b movie horror elements because ive been thinking about #reanimator a lot lately. ehghghh. thank god for the editing process. to wrangle my thoughts into a linear state of creating #anyway i read an article. interview? on the popularity of infidelity dramas in the philippines and it was poetry to me #and i also enjoy the really intense social melodrama in lino brocka's films. specifically the appearance of morality to cover up/justify #ugly behavior. or like. man i'm tired. whatever was going on in murder by tsismis. that's the thing. someday i'll get more into it #and post excerpts from the actual analysis of the film that actually explains the dynamic im talking around here #komiks tag #original tag #also there's some. vague lingering thought about ikaw lamang in here. not in a way that matters #but in a 'the first episode that i saw was not the first episode of the drama itself and it made me go. oh everyone has rotten vibes'#which is not. well. if you saw ikaw lamang then you know the characters. this is not the takeaway from the show. honestly foolish's character walking the slightly meta line of "oo this'll be fun content" makes him feel like that marvel immortal character who is only immortal as long as he doesn't get bored (and was played by jeff goldblum in the movies). like idk why but the more i see of foolish's rp the more solidified the comparison gets in my mind.

like it's kinda cool for a headcanon ngl and also it means i'm not really surprised pikachu-ing when, say, he flips a coin to decide whether to rat out his son-in-law, or climbs into an incubator of corruption crystals, or doesn't ENTIRELY kick owen out of the kingdom. it's not that he doesn't CARE, but..... well, wouldn't it be interesting? don't you want to know what would happen?
