B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

Not overall, but the dead grandfather part in “Fear of Falling” is basically my grandmother. ig I didn’t really go into the funeral in “I Need You Here” but that’s also based off my grandmother’s -- the timing for sure. (However, “I half-expected him to be the one playing the piano. At his own funeral,” isn’t real, though I did notice the piano player.) 

Oh oof that got pretty sad lol. Well, the “reasonable people just talk about marriage” bit in “Promise Me a Forever” is because of my parents, for something happier.

F: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

oh this bit’s a bit cringe but also pretty funny:

Piak asks, “Were you two kissing? I didn’t know you could do that.”

“Do what?”

“Kiss boys,” Piak says. “I thought kissing was only for girls.”

“Well, I can,” Jussipo snaps. “Please allow me to continue to do so.”

ig dialogue isn’t my strong suit lol -- I did do an assignment for drama class that was funny though.

G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

Usually start to finish because they’re short enough to just be a few scenes, but I’ve taken to doing a bit out of order now.
