whaddya mean by ya don't trust junpei? is it the whole jealousy thing again?
(Keep in mind I still haven't seen all of P3R so I dunno how much he's changed in that regard, or if they changed later scenes.....but so far.....it's not that much. Anyway general P3 spoilers under the cut.)
It's more than that, but let's look at the jealousy thing for right now since you brought it up. It's not that he's jealous.......it's what his jealousy LEADS him to do. They made him be a lot friendlier.......but I.........still don't like him. (he whines more in the early game too which is annoying so......good job atlus, you made him more annoying! :D)
His SL on the FeMC had a much better arc than the link eps so far (I'm not at Oct 4th yet so he's had like....2?) But the issue is he acts the exact same as if I didn't have an SL/wasn't as close to him.
The fact he'll act like a doucher regardless if I'm friendly/friends with him or not really just......makes him a bad friend.
Back to his jealousy. His jealousy isn't that he's JUST a dick to the MC. But it puts us in danger. At BEST he's just mean to us and makes us feel like shit. At worse he runs off without thinking and puts us in danger countless of times.
During a Full Moon mission he abandons my leadership, splits us up (which weakens us in general), and then almost gets himself killed.
THEN at his calmest, he does something I don't think the PT do (at least knowingly) and that is LEAK INFORMATION TO THE FUCKING ENEMY TO THEIR FUCKING FACE.
He knows there's Strega, and he's not airing on the side of caution AT ALL. He's a liability. We shoulda cut him when we had the chance, fuck his power, he's going to get us killed. (Yukari breaches the same trust trying to poke the Kirijou Group bear, we don't know how shady the rest of the group is and yet she goes snooping in ways that can get us all in trouble TT0TT so yeah she's not off the hook).
This also doesn't account for the special kind of betrayal that this entails for the FeMC (or P3R!MC if you do the link eps). Because we're their friends and they just go behind our back and fuck us. They undermine our leadership and blindside us.
I know it's a thing to say "SEES are more like coworkers/teammates than friends (at first)" (cause it's true, PQ1 has a literal B plot about it, they don't become "friends" until later) but fuck.....Junpei/Yukari barely act as teammates the way they are trying to sabotage the team half the time. TT0TT
Then there's the girl element. As a girl, he's really fucking creepy. I know the drama CD he states "oh I'm doing this to keep the peace" but no. That's contradictory to some of his creepier statements. 1 on 1 convos with the male MC shows he is def a creeper. He's not just playing it up to the girls can just rally against him. (also really fucking weird he thinks "oh the girls need someone to team up on" like??? no we don't???? wtf ew. It just sounds like he has a scolding fetish TT0TT and literally if you do it all the time it.....starts to seem like it's just something you like to do rather than 'oh I'm just saying things" like???? Sorry if you do it often enough people will just think that's just YOU rather than a "lie.")
There's also the fucking hot spring scene (looking at OG/FES/3P only). Like he still has a girlfriend as of 11/19 (maybe going through rough patch), shit doesn't hit the fan for him until 11/22. But it's heavily implied he and Ryoji decided enter and stay in the hot spring until the change happened. The reason? Obvie to peep on some girls, why else? (it's why the narrative still punishes him and Ryo even if you escape the girls). He does that while he has a GIRLFRIEND (run Chidori you deserve better TT0TT). And if his motives were the same on FeMC side, then he did that knowing he may violate his friend.
He also tells creepy things to Ken and....god I hate him. Yukari is right about him, he is a poster boy for sexual harassment. He is the worst of all the pervs. (tho P4G didn't help the P4 team >_>). I think there's a good reason the movie changed this scene.....
Basically he untrustworthy. He's too wishy washy to rely on. I wouldn't ever want to hang out with him.

I am divorcing myself from canon actually. Junpei is alive and he and Yuuji and Megumi are in a deep threesome right now. They’re going to get married on Halloween.

The timeskips issue has never been a recent one. The pitfalls of the numerous timeskips in the beginning of the story (Yuji being enrolled in JJH and picking up Nobara in June -> July's suicide mission + meeting the upperclassmen & Kyoto Kids -> August seemingly being skipped outright -> Junpei Arc in September¹, and pretty much everything before Shibuya needing to happen in September or October) have affected the character and relationship growth since the get-go.
Tumblr media
I love the tenderness and consoling conviction from Yuji in this scene, but at this point, he's only known Nanami for a few days, and been 'dead' for somewhere between a month and a month and a week or two. So he'd really only known Megumi for like, a month, tops. He'd known Nobara for maybe a couple of weeks. It's unclear how long he'd known Ijichi for, but on-and-off through July, probably...most of these times are guesses, and due to the timeskips, I can't be sure how well or how little Yuji got to known all of these people during the times he could have. Gojo, his longest relationship out of the five he was thinking of, tends to get infrequent and small references to what he did or didn't teach Yuji at various times. There's another moment shortly before this page where Yuji thinks back to a scene we never saw², wherein Gojo apparently taught Yuji how to fight Shikigami users ("When fighting Shikigami Users...go for the User themselves.") But ultimately, the audience hasn't been able to spend more than a few moments' times to get an understanding of Yuji's attachments and his faith in the people he relies on. Nanami gets the most here (Junpei Arc, Chapter 26) since this was the arc he was introduced in, and has been closely mentoring Yuji, but as mentioned, this entire arc takes place in a small timeframe. As a result, the believability of these relationships can easily be called into question, and this scene didn't hit me as hard as it should have.
Culling Games has a similar issue with believability in character dynamics and pacing, largely caused by the frequent timeskips forcing arcs immediately after Shibuya to cram as much as they can into short timeframes. Junpei Arc can get away with this more due to its early placement in the story, but the cracks had been visible well into this arc and even beforehand.
In a very twisted way, the post-unsealing timeskip, from mid-November (somewhere around/after November 16th; EDIT, it's November 19th³) to December 24th, is not particularly unique, though it is one of the largest timeskips (that I can positively identify through information in the manga's pages), possibly only behind the mid-July (?) to September skip. I've mentioned it before, though, that JJK simply could not handle another timeskip of a similar magnitude (or one exceeding, perhaps, a week). This mainly comes down to the bloating of the cast and status quo changes in the Perfect Preparation Arc, the Culling Games Arc, and the aftermath of 212 through 221.
I really wish I could have appreciated his scene more, since it's lovely and well-executed in-of-itself. But since it relies on the preceding groundwork, the shaky foundation undermines an otherwise knockout scene.
¹I am here in my reread, so I'm a little fuzzy on any timeskips after this point.
²Using flashbacks to show the audience new scenes can be effective, but this method gets overused in JJK to fill in gaps caused by not devoting enough time to character-building and cast downtime.
³GUESS WHO FORGOT ABOUT TWO DIFFERENT PANELS IN 221 EXPLICITLY CLARIFYING THE DATE? Blegh, I'll have to be more careful when I eventually fully reread--I have only gone through most 146+ chapters once. Anyways, the panels:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This also means that the full extent of the timeskip ran between 34 and 35 days, depending on if you're counting December 24th or not (this is not counting November 19th itself).

Writing in between messages!!
🪡Chapter Thirty: Sleepover
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
“Should we get butter or sea salt?” Megumi asked you, looking at the shelf in front of you. You looked up from your messages, being faced with both options. “One of each?”
“I like salted better.”
“Does everyone else like salted?” you turned to look at him, seeing him shrug before grabbing both boxes and putting them in the cart. Folding his arms he placed them on top of the cart’s handle, beginning to push it forward.
You followed beside him, “I’m excited to see your acting skills by the way.” You nudged his shoulder with yours, causing him to huff out a breath.
“Don’t expect too much,” he mumbled. “C’mon Megs have some confidence!” Your enthusiasm made him a smile.
“Do we have everything?” he asked, deciding to change the topic. You looked at your phone in hand, going back through Yuji’s messages, you had gotten the popcorn, the fruit, sodas, chips, but you were missing the spray. “Yeah, but Yuji wanted febreeze too.”
“Why?”
“Don’t tell him I snitched, but he burnt the popcorn, which is why he also asked us to stop and get more.”
“Of course he did.”

Megumi hid his face in between your shoulder and neck for about the fifth time in last twenty minutes, mumbling something about not wanting to see himself. You just laughed at his reactions, running your hand through his hair. You leaned both of you against the armrest of the couch, readjusting your plate of snacks in your lap. “Megu you can’t just hide away for the whole movie,” you whispered, trying not to disturb the other three who were currently very invested in their work.
He didn’t give you a verbal response, instead just moving his head to be able to see the screen again.
“I think you’re really great in this,” you told him, having your hand rest on his neck.
“Aw, are you feeling shy Megumi?” Yuji interrupted from the other side of the couch. You looked towards him, only to see Megumi kick him, earning an ‘oomph’ out of his friend.
“Megumi don’t be mean.”

“It’s late you know,” Megumi spoke up. He put a bowl on the dish rack, drying his hands with a towel, then turning to face you. You sat at the kitchen counter, folding the game board up and placing it back in the box. After putting everything away on the box you checked the time on your phone, 1:47 am.
“Wasn’t planning on making you drive anyway,” you placed the phone down. Watching Megumi pick up the board games off the kitchen counter and carry them back to the cabinet they were originally stored in.
“So you planned on staying the night?”
“Well when Yuji announced sleepover I just thought so, yeah,” you replied, looking over to the living room where Nobara took up the large couch, Junpei and Yuji wrapped in blankets and pillows on different parts of the floor.
“Okay, but im not sleeping in the floor.” You gave Megumi a light laugh, already having expected that.
“You don’t have to either,” he mumbled, finally making his way next to you on the kitchen island. “What do you mean?” He just looked at you, hoping you couldn’t tell how he was feeling kind of nervous. “Just, I wouldn’t mind if you wanted to share a bed.”
“Do you snore?” you joked.
“Fine sleep on the floor.”
“Megumi wait, I was joking!” You followed him after he had walked away from your spots in the kitchen.
“Sh, you’ll wake them up,” he whispered, although you highly doubt they would as they didn’t even seem to acknowledge the movement and sound of you guys. “Just c’mon, i’m tired,” he grumbled.
Tumblr media
Yuji was the first to wake up, rising from his spot on the floor. His original plan was to go and get food from the kitchen, as even seconds into being awake he was already feeling hungry. However he was distracted when he saw Megumi’s room door open, catching a glimpse of his friend basically draped over you.

Take what I’m about to say with a grain of salt since I wouldn’t say snake was really written to be A Gay Character but regardless the way snake’s gender and overall personality is portrayed is probably one of the best depictions of gay men I’ve ever seen. He’s very pretty, dressed in expensive clothes reminiscent of a prince, with beautiful wavy hair and an air of poise and sophistication. He’s the smartest person in the room and he KNOWS this and he will not hesitate to be a condescending prick. He’s delicate and funny and charming. He has no fear or hesitation about suggesting he and Junpei share a bed or referencing gay sex. All these things tend to make a character the butt of jokes or at the very least regarded as lesser than the other characters but with snake hes the most admired one here. He’s very capable and is in fact so capable he literally needed to be removed temporarily from the situation so that the others could solve the mystery on their own. He’s absolutely fearless, doesn’t care about pissing off Aoi or getting shot multiple times by Ace. He’s fucking strong as hell and is able to survive being shot multiple times and have enough strength to dig his claws into Ace and force them to burn to death together. Everyone loses their shit without him and he’s the key to escape. He’s cool as hell and he fucks severely

Cooking Is Heaven, Eating Is Hell
Today is Shinjiro's turn! Enjoy!
___________________________________________
"...Geez, why did I have to do this..."
"S-sorry Aragaki-senpai... agh! Ugh (cough, cough)."
"Y-Yukari-chan, are you okay?"
This is Yukari's private room in the dorm. Dressed in a cardigan over her pink pajamas, Yukari is coughing in pain as Fuuka gently strokes her back. Yukari had gone to Tartarus despite feeling unwell, and her cold had only gotten worse. Standing next to Yukari's bed was Mitsuru, who also looked worried, and Aragaki, who looked a little lost. In Aragaki's hands was a tray of steaming hot-looking food, the result of the "things like this" he had mentioned. It seemed that Mitsuru, who had worried about Yukari, had asked him to make the porridge that is the standard meal for sick people.
"Aragaki-senpai is really kind."
Yukari scooped up the dish, which at first glance looked like ordinary porridge, with a spoon and popped it into her mouth.
"What?! Oh well, it was just a whim. Don't worry about it. Just eat it."
In response to Fuuka's honest words, Aragaki simply said that and brusquely handed her the tray.
"Ugh, thank you. Cough..."
"How is it, Yukari-san?"
"It's so delicious! What is this, how did you make it? I can't believe it!"
Mitsuru asked with a motherly tone of concern, asking if it was too hot and if Yukari could swallow it properly, but right in front of her eyes Yukari's expression melted.
Yukari, who had looked distressed a moment ago, had instantly regained her strength and was now moving her hands and mouth with incredible vigor, and in no time at all the contents of the bowl had been emptied.
"Well, how do I do it... I just make whatever works. I thought normal porridge might not be nutritious enough, so I made Chinese-style milk porridge."
Aragaki said it was simple, but it's actually quite time-consuming. Garlic, ginger, and chopped green onions are fried thoroughly in sesame oil, and then rice and carrots and daikon radish cut into strips are added, followed by chicken stock. Then the lid is put on, and once it boils, the mixture is simmered on low heat for 30 to 40 minutes, being careful not to let it boil over. Once the rice is soft enough, milk is added, salt is added to taste, and the dish is ready. It contains carbohydrates and protein that boost the body's immune system, as well as vitamins A, B, and C, and beta-carotene, making it the perfect food for the sick.
Sanada and others had been saying for some time that Aragaki's cooking was on par with that of a professional, but when Yukari actually tasted the food, she was more impressed than she had imagined. Yukari honestly expressed her praise.
"There's no such thing as a proper answer! Aragaki-senpai is the best."
"You idiot... what an embarrassing thing to say..."
"Why are you being so humble? Food is the basis of being a human being. It's important. You can do that so well, Aragaki-senpai, it's admirable! I want the other guys to follow your example. As a person, you have to be able to cook at least a little."
Yukari's excited speech, which was non-stop, was suddenly halted.
"Wait a minute! J-Junpei? And everyone else?"
At the entrance to Yukari's room, the other dorm residents, that is, everyone who wasn't in the room, were gathered with Junpei at the head. Even Koromaru was peeking out from under Junpei's feet.
"What is going on?"
"Well, it smells so good that we just..." Sanada began to speak honestly, but Junpei cut him off with his whole body and pointed his finger at him.
"Yuka-tan... you made us angry!"
"Huh? Huh?"
"If you can't cook, you're not a human? You're a good cook, Takeba-sama, so that means we're not human, right?"
"N-no, I didn't mean that... And besides, it's true that Junpei can't cook properly."
At this, Junpei shook his finger from side to side.
"Not being able to cook is not the same as not wanting to cook, Yuka-tan. Besides, I'm not the only one you've hurt..."
Junpei theatrically covered his eyes with his hands as if to hold back tears.
"...Ah."
Mitsuru and Fuuka were standing beside the bed, their faces down, with a gloomy air around them. "N-No, um. I...I didn't mean to say that...Se-senpai? Fuuka?"
"Therefore!"
Junpei raised his head, which had been lowered, and declared in a loud voice, full of excitement.
"I challenge you to a cooking contest!"
"Huh?"
Thus, the first Iwatodai dormitory cooking championship was decided to be held.
"And so, I, Aigis, will be your host for today. How about you, commentator Amada-san?"
"...All of you must be bored."
"I see. So then, Mr. Aragaki, the chairman of the judges..."
"...Seriously, why am I in this situation..."
The day after Junpei's declaration, Yukari had fully recovered, and as it happened to be a Sunday, the cooking competition was finally held. Aragaki, who likely had the most sensitive palate among the group, was to be the chief judge, while Aigis, who had no sense of taste, was to act as MC. Amada was also encouraged to participate, but he turned them down, saying, "Why should I cook? What do you expect from an elementary school kid?" and took his seat as commentator. Everyone else was now both a participant and a judge.
At first, Mitsuru and Fuuka showed a complete refusal, but Junpei's sweet words, such as "It's like a festival" and "Everything is an experience," gradually softened their attitude, and finally, with a decisive word mentioning a certain person's name, "This is your chance to show off your skills to...", they were brainwashed, or rather persuaded, to participate in the cooking competition.
"Now, the competition will finally begin. First up, Yukari-san, please."
"Okay! Watch this, Junpei!"
The food that Yukari brought in high spirits was a wonderful dish that lived up to her confidence. It was a makunouchi bento that looked delicious. In addition to the standard side dishes of a makunouchi bento such as tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), grilled fish, and kamaboko (fish cake), it also contained Western-style side dishes such as small hamburger steaks and cheese chicken cutlets. Of course, the rice was formed into a cylindrical shape and topped with scattered black sesame seeds.
"Yeah, that's pretty good."
After taking a bite of the tamagoyaki, Yukari pumped her fist in response to Aragaki's evaluation, and the other members followed suit, one after the other reaching for their chopsticks.
"The grilled fish is marinated in Saikyo miso... nice job."
"Wow, the way you cut this kamaboko is intricate."
"Is Yukari already confirmed as the winner?"
Yukari said with a look of embarrassment and pride on her face as she received a constant stream of praise.
"Ah, but this time I have an unexpected rival... I'd like to try his food too."
The man in front of Yukari's eyes was the field leader who seemed to lack self-assertiveness, but from his face, which was only half visible due to his bangs, he seemed to exude a faint confidence that was not always there.
"Well then, let's continue."
At Aigis's urging, the second dish was brought out.
"Oh...!"
It was a clam and tomato pasta dish called Vongole in Rosso, which would not have seemed out of place in a small restaurant. The head judge, Aragaki, deftly wrapped the pasta around a fork and took a bite.
He put it in his mouth.
"The pasta is a little soft, but it passes the test."
"Let's have some too...oh, it's delicious!"
"Clams and tomatoes go really well together."
Surprisingly, he'd lost his parents at a young age and had been living alone for a long time, so his cooking skills were not bad at all. However, perhaps due to his simple personality, his cooking skills were limited to simple dishes such as pasta and rice bowls, which could be said to be a weakness.
"So, who's next?"
Aragaki, who had initially looked sour after being served one delicious dish after another, seemed to be in a good mood. A fun meal can really put people at ease. Perhaps Junpei had planned the cooking contest simply to try to close the gap between Aragaki and the other members, even if only a little. If that was the case, his intention was being fully achieved.
But that happy atmosphere didn't last long.
"What is this?"
"Um, well, ramen."
"It's instant noodles, isn't it?"
In front of Aragaki was a cup of instant noodles that you could prepare in three minutes by adding hot water. They were seafood flavored.
"No, it's a cup! I've got my own way of making it. I got inspired by Aragaki-senpai's milk porridge and made it with milk!" Aragaki made a disgusted face. The rest of the guys all looked disgusted as well.
"What? What? What's going on? It's really delicious!"
"Even if it's delicious... it's not food."
"Junpei, you are disqualified."
Aigis rang the bell next to her, somewhere.
"What?! No way..."
Junpei's shoulders slumped in disappointment. The only one who was there to see him was the field leader, who took a mouthful of the cup noodles and patted Junpei on the shoulder as if to say, "It's delicious, not bad at all."
"Next, Mitsuru-san, please."
Things were accelerating towards catastrophe.
"Duck confit with foie gras and truffles. All the ingredients were flown in from France."
Mitsuru held out a gorgeous silver plate with her chest puffed out, but sweat was running down her face. Staring at the food on the plate, Aragaki asked,
"Which one is the duck?"
"It's obviously t-that one."
"What's this black thing?"
"The truffles."
"And this black one?"
"Foie gras... I think."
"So, what about this black one?"
"Ummm... how about some leeks as a side dish?"
She didn't know what to say when asked that.
Aragaki was looking down with a wicked glint in his eyes and he spoke to Mitsuru in a low voice.
"It's all charcoal."
"Well, maybe I got the heat a little off. The ingredients are good. You have to try it..."
"Can you even eat this?! Next, next!"
He glanced over at Mitsuru, who looked as if the world was ending. The bell rang out from Aigis.
"I haven't done much cooking before. I wouldn't want to serve something weird, so I decided to copy Shinji's cooking."
Sanada's dish was a cloudy soup-like dish, apparently based on the milk porridge Aragaki had made the day before.
“If Junpei was going to take inspiration from Shinji’s cooking, he should have done it this way. Well, I do make some adjustments to my own recipes, too.”
Seeing Sanada already seeming triumphant, Aragaki replied with a wry smile.
"Hehe, Aki's cooking... You can't steal my style that easily."
"You won't know until you try it, right?"
"Okay, okay. Let's have it then."
He scooped up the porridge with a spoon, let it cool slightly, then brought it to his mouth. Then, after a moment,
*Bzzz*
Along with the strange sound, a milky liquid spurted out from Aragaki's nose and mouth.
"Wh-Wh-Wh-What is this?!"
"This is protein porridge that is higher in protein and lower in calories than milk...it's good for your muscles, right?"
"I can't eat that!"
"Finally, Fuuka-san, please."
Aigis said calmly as she rang the bell.
Then, 5 minutes later. An unearthly scream echoed from Gekkoukan Academy's Iwadodai branch dormitory. Police cars and ambulances were called to the scene after being notified by nearby residents, but they quickly left after finding no evidence of any crime. However, according to eyewitness testimony, the investigators and paramedics were all clutching their mouths and stomachs, looking as if they were about to vomit. No one was willing to talk about what terrible things happened that day.
"Listen guys! The key to cooking is the heat! And the salt! That's great, Junpei!"
"Y-yes!"
"And it's common sense, but don't put protein in your food! Got it, Aki!?"
"Oh, yeah, I get it."
"Hey, Yamagishi! Why did you add Tabasco in there? Don't add seasonings based on the color! Taste it! Taste it!"
"Y-yes!"
The day after the cooking contest, an impromptu cooking class was taking place in the dorm kitchen. If these guys' cooking skills were left unchecked, someone would eventually die. In fact, Aragaki, who had nearly died, demanded to give one-on-one cooking lessons to Junpei, Sanada, Mitsuru, and Fuuka.
"Why, why am I doing this..."
Despite their complaints, thanks to Aragaki's hard work and guidance, everyone's cooking was gradually improving to a level that was "edible."
"Hey, wait a minute, Mitsuru. If it starts to burn, take the frying pan off the heat... that's right. Just stay calm and it'll be fine."
"Yes, I understand."
Looking at Aragaki like that, Fuuka chuckled and said.
"After all, Aragaki-senpai is a kind person, isn't he?"
It's unclear whether her words reached him, but Aragaki continued to silently instruct them on cooking. However, it seemed as if a faint smile was floating on his face. Soon, perhaps having smelled the delicious aroma of cooking, Yukari and the others could be seen walking into the kitchen, also with smiles on their faces. As expected, a pleasant meal puts people at ease. It looked like tonight's dinner would also be a pleasant one.
And it was.

I’m not sure if this has been said before but I find it very interesting how differently the writers of persona handled Junpei’s character in comparison to Ryuji’s. With the role of the mc’s best friend and mostly comic relief, I find the two of them to be the most similar personality wise compared to either of them with Yosuke so this analysis will only be discussing the parallels and differences in the way the story handles Junpei and Ryuji respectively.
To me, Junpei is handled pretty sensitively by the writers (not as much as he could be or should be, but still a lot more than most would expect given his trope); he’s given a lot of character with the introduction of Chidori and we see how he grows to like her as he gets to know her. I’ll admit it’s been a while since I played 3 so take this with a grain of salt but from what I recall, his and Chidori’s relationship gets quite a bit of screen time and development in the main story in a way that gives us a different perspective of how Junpei normally operates around the other members of SEES. With Chidori, he isn’t the class clown or the idiot of SEES, he’s simply a teenage boy who falls for a teenage girl. To me, there’s not much more humanising than that. After her presumed death, Junpei loses it and sinks into a depression, and when he finds out she’s alive, albeit her memory lost, he does his best to help her recover and grapples with the moral implications of her regaining her memory. (I think at least one can’t really remember).
This relationship is important to the story and gives us another, much more sympathetic view of Junpei’s character who, up to this point in the game, had mostly been kept in a box marked “comic relief pervert”. You root for Junpei and Chidori’s relationship because it is clearly shown how much Junpei adores her and not once after he meets her does he stray from this love for her.
It’s not only Chidori’s character that makes Junpei’s character more sensitive either, I find that his general personality and relationships with other characters to be handled better as well.
We have his friendship with Yukari (aka Yuka-tan) which I’ll begin by saying also isn’t perfect, Junpei oftentimes falls into the perverted trope so many of the male characters fall into (such is life with Atlus) and he definitely makes comments towards her that most friends wouldn’t and yeah that isn’t good, but I think Yukari gives it back just as much as Junpei dishes it out and never takes him too seriously. I get the impression that that’s just how their friendship works, it’s a constant push and pull, a give and take between them, they both take every opportunity they get to tease each other mercilessly and it works. It doesn’t feel one sided in the way that Ryuji’s interactions with other members of the phantom thieves tend to feel but I’ll get more into that later. His friendship with Yukari may not be the most noteworthy part of his character, but it’s something I think deserves a bit of credit all things considered.
He matures so much over the game and generally becomes more serious and methodical as the story progresses but in a way that is still undeniably Junpei. That’s a difficult feat to accomplish when dealing with certain characters and I think Atlus does well to make these changes happen in a pretty organic way.
Junpei isn’t a perfect character, he has his flaws and shortcomings, but out of all the bro characters from 3-5, I think that the writers of 3 deserve more merit for handling Junpei’s character arc in a way that actually feels like he’s grown by the end of the game.
I could not say the same for Ryuji.
I will preface this by saying that I love Ryuji, I think he’s a neat little guy and I think the writers did him so dirty in 5 when they clearly had the capacity to do so much more as we’ve seen already with Junpei.
Ryuji is filled to the brim of wasted potential as a character, his backstory is only barely brushed on with a few throwaway comments about his dad being abusive towards him and his mother, his abuse by Kamoshida who literally breaks his leg is barely brought up after Kamoshida’s arc, and the trauma he suffers from is never the focus of the story compared to how other characters like Yusuke, Futaba, and Ann’s are. Of course, trauma isn’t a competition and all the party members in 5 have dealt with awful shit but the point is that all of them rightfully get the opportunity to be angry about it at some point in the main story or in their social links, Ryuji doesn’t. Ryuji instead gets beat up by pretty much the entire cast of 5, is constantly belittled by the party members, and is basically treated like shit and the butt of the joke throughout the entire game.
I don’t think I even need to bring up that scene because I know everyone feels the same way about it, but I will because it’s a necessary part of this analysis. That scene haunts me, not only is it the unfunniest thing that’s played for jokes I’ve ever seen in a game, but it’s quite possibly the biggest controversy I know of in the persona fandom.
The implications of a teenage boy who was abused by his father and his teacher thinking he’s found a safe haven in the phantom thieves because they all know how shitty adults can be and yeah they insult him but they’d never actually purposefully try and hurt him, right? Only to find that they would hurt him and pretty severely after he risked his life to save theirs because they’re his best friends and he loves them is horrendous and incredibly insensitive to everyone out there who has dealt with similar circumstances. The joke he plays isn’t funny, but I take it as Ryuji trying to lighten the mood the only way he knows how and even if he was insensitive to Ann and the rest of the team who are mourning him, he does not deserve to get beaten to a pulp by the very people he almost killed himself to rescue. They don’t even fucking apologise to him, it’s all just brushed under the rug and never so much as brought up again !!!
The scene didn’t need to make the cut at all, especially with the rerelease in royal, but it did and it’s honestly astonishing that with all the backlash it received, that they didn’t just cut it entirely. And if they really had to keep the scene in the game, let him be angry about it. Let Ryuji go off at the team for beating him up after he saves all of their lives. Let Ryuji tell Joker that he expected more from him as his best friend. Let the team have to jump through hoops to gain Ryuji’s forgiveness because it’s what he deserves.
Not only this, but in comparison to Junpei, Ryuji doesn’t get as much growth in his character arc. Throughout the game, Ryuji largely stays the same which honestly isn’t really an issue, not everyone has to change dramatically and drastically to be a compelling character, but he doesn’t change at all. Honestly, from the start to the end of 5, I could barely tell you a difference between the Ryuji we see. Like I said, I don’t need a drastic change, it doesn’t suit some characters, but Ryuji isn’t given any sort of growth by the writers and any he is given feels forced because he genuinely isn’t given any of the spotlight outside of Kamoshida’s arc unlike with Junpei.
It makes me angry because like I said, the writing was already there with Junpei, they had the capacity to write Ryuji in the same sympathetic way they did with him but they chose not to !! They chose to leave Ryuji as a character who you have no choice but to take at face value because he’s not given any more than that.
In conclusion: the writers dropped the ball with Ryuji and I’m mad about it, Junpei is a good character and I’ll fight anyone who disagrees, and Yosuke is Yosuke and I mourn his cut romance route every day.

MAN, A WATERMELON
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Watermelon is associated with summer. And as Kanji says, the gang has been so busy with the murder mystery stuff that he hasn't even gotten to eat one yet. People also play a watermelon pinata game, which Nanako thinks you'll be able to do until Dojima crushes her dreams. You might have seen that in other media by now - even in P3R, Junpei tries to get Ken to do it too lol.
Tumblr media
But fruit there can get pricey. Non-banana fruit just isn't a big import. Here's a graph showing fruit imports - only 99 tons of watermelon was imported to Japan during the year P4 came out compared to some 1.1mil tons of bananas. And fruit is grown domestically, but there isn't a ton of farm space for this. Plus fruit is given as a gift, so farmers might weed out the less pretty looking fruit. Overall, this makes fruit cost more than what you might be used to. When I was there in 2023, a decent sized watermelon was around 3000-3500 yen, and it was still tiny compared to the giant watermelons we have in America that are cut into basket shapes to serve fruit during 4th of July.
So this scene is... it's summer, watermelon is on typical summer to-do checklists, but the fruit itself can be expensive, and a neighbor offered one.
As for Kanji...
Tumblr media
Looks to me like he is meant to be shaking salt on there. Last I heard it is not normal to carry a salt shaker around with you lol. But you did tell all of your friends to come over to eat a watermelon, so the guy came prepared to eat a watermelon. He's a professional. (Though you can buy salt tablets and salt candies to put in drinks and other things to help with hydration during the summer. That's ki-kind of like carrying salt around.)

Italian men are convinced one of the fundamental steps to conquer a woman’s heart is to be able to cook a good carbonara (false, men, we can’t care less and you are annoying with all the cringe twitter posts).
Then Junpei arrives, bless his face, and tells all his new incel friends from Italy, -who can’t just believe he has managed to score with a gorgeous former model-, that whenever his dear Izumi visits, he will cook ✨ tortellini, panna e prosciutto ✨ for her, or, like most japanese say due to how hard it is for them to pronounce it, ✨ TORTINI, panna e prosciutto✨.
Tortellini, panna cheese and ham is basically the ordinary meal of an average university student with limited budget, along with pasta al tonno (pasta and tuna). Junpei’s pasta al tonno is miserable and he is self-conscious about it, but it doesn’t take much for him to feel a bit proud of his achievement. It’s enough to think Takuya is out there doing much worse.
Even if Izumi is always there, tiptoeing to the pan to add more salt or pepper, while he’s distracted and is plunging in the fridge to find some other ingredient, she will always let him cradle himself in that belief: when they are two friends casually dating each other for some reason, that his tortini are “buoni, buoni!” ; when they are married, that his tortini absolutely are the best ones she, famous international Chef, has ever tasted.
It’s likely on her menus her diners will initially blink and boggle at the writing of tortini, panna and prosciutto on some page.

“No words appear to me in the aftermath
Salt streams out my eyes and into my ears
Every single thing I touch becomes sick with sadness”
-Bigger Than The Whole Sky, Taylor Swift
jjk microfic | word count: 243 | spoilers for the manga
It is important to surround yourself with people, so you do not die alone.
Yuji’s grandfather had told him this before dying.
At first it seemed almost like a blessing. Something that had allowed him to save Fushiguro, meet Kugisaki, and help save people.
But now?
Now all he has managed to do is kill and hurt people.
He couldn’t save Junpei, Nanami, or Kugisaki.
Even worse he has managed to be the reason why so many awful curses had resurfaced.
Everything he has done since getting to Jujutsu High has hurt and put more people in danger.
And now the one person who he had been able to save. The reason why he started this in the first place, doesn’t have the will to fight anymore. Fushiguro doesn’t want to keep going.
You can’t save someone who isn’t ready to be saved….but Yuji can’t just let him go. He can’t accept that Fushiguro has given up.
Fushiguro, he had a bright future. He was so much bigger than this, he should have more time than this.
He has a lot to think about and a lot to regret but Fushiguros life cannot be added to his list of failures. He has to help him, even if that is not what he wants.
It’s the least he can do after causing so much pain and suffering.
Hopefully he just needs time.
When he is ready Yuji will be there for him.

Chapter 256 Fight Choreography PbP
A play by play of the fight this chapter.
Tumblr media
Maki fights Sukuna in melee while Yuji and Choso prepare to trap Sukuna with a nearby rail. Choso seems to kick the rail up, then without exchanging words, Yuji understands the play and catches it, aiming for Sukuna while he dodges Maki's stabs at him.
Tumblr media
Yuji pins Sukuna while Choso prepares piercing blood at point blank range. Sukuna blitzed them both! He basically flies up and out of the way.
Tumblr media
Within the time it took for Sukuna to escape Yuji and Choso, Maki has already circled around and snuck Sukuna. He catches her blade again but she pressures him, so he then sends slashes all around without movement (like he did against Kusakabe recently, but as his webbed attack).
Tumblr media
Maki and Sukuna fight midair at an extreme speed after Sukuna's slashes destroyed the ground. Sukuna breaks the deadlock with a third black flash.
Tumblr media
Sukuna tries to finish the job this time by adding dismantles to his attack against Maki, who was still stunned after the black flash. Maki recognizes that Sukuna's strength has begun to return. In the last panel, you can see Choso prepare his blood as Sukuna sends slashes to Maki.
Tumblr media
Choso uses the time Sukuna took to send those slashes to make a counter attack! Yet, Sukuna reacts extremely fast, sending extra dismantles towards Choso as a distraction, then he moves faster than his own attack. He catches Choso by the back of the shirt.
Tumblr media
Sukuna throws Choso into the wall and black flashes him!
Tumblr media
Choso uses the blood from both his stomach and that which he spit up from his mouth to encase Sukuna's arm. Yuji catches up to Choso's position and takes the opening to attack!
Tumblr media
Choso hands over converged blood* to Yuji, that he will later use for his piercing blood.
Tumblr media
Yuji attempts to knee Sukuna, repeating the attack from the Yuta battle, and Sukuna catches him yet again. Yuji grabs onto Sukuna, forcibly bending him and preparing to attack.
Tumblr media
Yuji nearly misses, but sets up Choso to possibly poison Sukuna, which may come into play later.
Tumblr media
Sukuna uses dismantles to get Yuji off of him, but Yuji begins to prepare his own attack, mirroring Sukuna's black flash punch from earlier in the chapter.
Tumblr media
Yuji finally lands a black flash after Larue distracted Sukuna for a prolonged period, similar to Todo in Shibuya at the end of the Mahito fight.
Notes:
I may make this a regular thing.
This post will be updated if I missed something. Please let me know.
Would converged blood be the correct phrasing for this?
I want to point out that Sukuna uses dismantles to parry Maki's blade. He can apparently still create small dismantles with his severed arms. Though, Sukuna may be using his right arm to send slashes.
As noted by u/Asian_Persuasion_1, Sukuna may have been preparing to slam Yuji into the ground before Yuji prevented it by grabbing his neck.
u/k-tax noted that as Choso prepped Supernova, Sukuna may have been preparing to fire even more dismantles at Maki.
u/RicoNancy pointed out that Sukuna has already been shown to be immune to Junpei's poison, so Choso's blood may not work. Though, take this with a grain of salt.

character ask game, i just ask all of itafushijun? lol
In short: I care them(which is why i am hugging and squeezing all of them). Then below me is the longer version
Yuuji
Tumblr media
I love Yuji so much. I want only good things for him. I love his pink hair and his smile and how he looks like he could give me the best hug ever if he was real. Also just love his arc of killing curses. Silly little goofball turning into a terrifying badass is a character trope I am fond of. I am very fatigued by all of the bad things that have happened to him and am glad things are finally starting to turn around for him in canon. I hope it stays that way even though I plan on ignoring canon in favor of imagining itafushijun fluff
Megumi
Tumblr media
Gonna be real here, I watched jjk in dub the first time I watched it because Robbie Daymond is Megumi's English va. And it just added to the experience of seeing and hearing Megumi laugh gleefully at the end of season one. I love cocky murderous bastards. (That's also why he's silly to me... such a little goofball as he murders curses and then gets picked on by his friends playfully). Also I really personally just love his current emotional despair arc that he needs to be pulled out of. Whether he finds the emotional strength to do it himself or needs Yuji to pull him out(a combination of both preferably). I just want him to get hugged after all this and also therapy. (Therapy for all of them actually)
Junpei
Tumblr media
Ok I will say with Junpei I am not the only one who is correct about him. In fact there are some really nice blogs about him that have really good analysis on him that are probably better reads on him than mine. (There are also other jjk fans that are very wrong about him but I'm not getting into that barrel of salt)
But yeah I project onto him a lot just due to the fact that he is very neurodivergent and I dream all the time about my silly little AUs where he is alive and well and has two awesome boyfriends. I've always felt sad that he died so soon because I feel like Gege accidentally created the most interesting character ever who had the potential for a really interesting character arc of self discovery and learning to open up to others and let them in and accept himself and grow, and then just... killed him for shock value and to subvert tropes (tbh there is value in trope subversion but there is also a reason tropes are popular in the first place if you ask me). (Next part starts off as a Junpei focused thing and then starts to spiral lol.)
And I think that's part of the reason why I like itafushijun so much. Like, Yuji is the safe friend who he knows he can trust because Yuji *saved him* in this alternate universe in my head. And Yuji is also again just the bestest boy who helps him grow to start building connections again. And then Megumi is new to him and keeps his distance and acts kind of mean sometimes. But they're classmates and Megumi is not a bully. Just has a bit of a cold shoulder, which Junpei can relate too, and just over time develop an unbreakable bond. And Megumi and Junpei both see the same thing in Yuji. The best of humanity.
And I just could go on and on about the possibilities and potential these three had for a while but I won't.

Finished Junpei Arc. Many thoughts...it was definitely good to get refreshers on certain things, and I have shored-up some of my inferences. I definitely prefer the manga version to the anime's, though I did like some of the changes in the anime version. Still haven't gotten what I need for a later fight's analysis, though I'm getting plenty for Sukuna's character, evidence of the skimping-out on character development/cast downtime, and the worldbuilding issues. Likely going to do some smaller analyses (or maybe vents), while I wait to get everything I need for the Big Ones.
I also want to marinate on the Junpei Arc a bit. I really think its smaller cast-focus helps it maintain its sense of identity and purpose in story and character. That said, I don't think it's the best arc in the manga, due to some issues regarding the already-present worldbuilding issues and something more arguable, which is my gripe with how Yuji's character conflicts are portrayed here. Mainly, I don't think Yuji is a hypocrite or ignoring his morality in regards to Mahito, but I'm unsure of that. In the sense that I'm not sure if I'm missing something or not. That's probably going to be an in-depth vent post of its own, not gonna lie. I love the continuation of questioning in this section of the manga--what it means to be a Sorcerer, where our morals might lead us (which is Geto's best aspect, in my opinion, as a reminder of shallowness in perspective), and the lies we tell ourselves, though I'm not sure that the lattermost remains an intentional theme. Or if it ever was. One problem I have with JJK is that its messages seem to be vague and...indirect, I guess. Not subtle, but like the audience is being given ideas and nudges, but not answers. When you take off the blindfold at your surprise birthday party, there isn't a piñata. There's a note that leads you on a goose chase to try and find the piñata.
Some of it is likely language and culture barrier, to be sure, but given the numerous other stories I've analyzed over the years, it seems more rooted in nebulous authorial intent and story structure. I do want to talk about the things I find well-done in detail, as well (basically what I'm planning for when talking about Yuji at length, hah).
Being sick really screwed over my energy for the re-read, so I'm behind. In the midst of Junpei Arc now, though. I think this arc mostly holds up, though it continues some of the problems JJK struggled with early on, such as worldbuilding (that Jujutsu Society is a secret, specifically) and being led into directly by a timeskip (the pre-Kyoto period simply didn't have enough time devoted to it). I don't think Junpei Arc needed to be set during September. It probably would have benefitted from being in mid to late August.
Reading Mai and Nanami's introductions also gave me much to think about, but I likely won't be touching upon their specific characters anytime soon, unless asked, maybe. What I will say is that Nanami is one of a handful of characters in JJK to be both immediately interesting upon introduction, and to stay interesting, by being fleshed-out. Most characters end up only having interesting introductions and/or deaths, and being largely under-utilized otherwise.

Hi! Can you do pegging and sadism/masochism Jundori?
I admittedly went a bit light on the masochism and sadism aspect to instead practice the focus on pegging here. I hope you don’t mind tho! I tried to edit and clean it up as much as I could as I worked, but I’m most creative at, like, dawn. So, if this is incoherent, I’m so sorry lol. I hope you enjoy regardless tho!
Kinktober prompt list: here
Kinktober masterlist: here
CW: Pegging, hints of sadism and masochism, Junpei’s a werewolf too, so Teratophilia’s a freebie. Biting, praise, implied overstimulation at the end there,
As Chidori sat beside her husband on their couch to watch him devour the roast dinner she’d made him, she hummed lightly to herself. Her brown eyes able to admire his soft face, the flash of fangs that she could see while he chewed, and his short, fluffy hair. Fluffy hair that she couldn’t wait to pull. “This is a wonderful meal, Chidorita! I can really taste the ham beneath the garlic and salt this time!” Junpei chirped, his happy voice able to pull the redhead out of her thoughts and warm her ribcage all in one go. So, she finally took a deep breath and bit the bullet. “Junpei, can I peg you?” “HUH?!” “You can say no, I won’t be mad,” She assured in her usual flat tone, “but I saw a video of a girl pegging a guy on pornhub, and I want to try it if you’ll let me.”
At that, she took a moment to simply watch the werewolf she called a husband, and the many thoughts that ran circles in his dark, warm hazel eyes. “You…” His voice trailed off into awkwardness, “I won’t judge you if you agree, or say no.” She promised with a small nod, her own brown eyes glued to him to watch his expressions shift like the sands in an hour glass. From nervous, to intrigued, to a blip of a more wounded reaction, undoubtedly due to some perceived potential slight to his masculinity. Which, made a dark part of Chidori’s sexual attraction stir to life for a moment. “It’ll only be one time, right? And you won’t tell anyone after?” He asked more hesitantly, “I won’t tell a soul, and it’ll only be if you’ll let me. It’s all up to you. Whether we do it at all, and whether we ever do it again.”
With that assurance, her husband wiped the juices from his dinner from his mouth and sat in silence for a long moment. Until, finally, he gave a small nod. “Um...we can try it. Just this once though! And I hold the right to stop midway.” He insisted, but she only nodded understandingly, “Of course, dear. I’d never force you if you didn’t enjoy it.” And, with that, she left the conversation there to let her husband finish his dinner and digest the idea a bit more.
Once he was done, though, she got up and gave him a silent look. One that he returned with his own, more contemplative expression. Their conversation wordless and quick, but by the end, they both moved to the bedroom with kisses and clothes tossed around freely. Until, finally, the cherry-haired woman could toss off her dress in favor of her husband’s work shirt and shove the dark-haired man onto their mattress. “Woah! Easy there, Chidorita.” He said with an awkward chuckle, though he made no move to actually dissuade her meaner actions. So, she didn’t bother with a reply that went beyond how she straddled him and lowered her mouth to capture his mouth in a warm, eager kiss.
From there, she began to kiss and nibble a light trail along his lower jaw and down his throat until he squirmed against their comforter. Yet, he kept his head tilted away to give complete access for her to nibble and suck bruises into his lightly tanned skin. His pained whimpers oxygen for the sadistic warmth beneath her pale skin, encouragement for her to bite down harder when her lips reached the man’s sweet spot. “Do you want me to prepare you slowly?” She asked with a soft kiss to the fresh bite mark in his sandalwood-scented skin. So, she was close enough to feel the tension in how her husband swallowed while he weighed her offer. “U-um...would it hurt if you didn’t?” He awkwardly asked after a moment, and Chidori shook her head, “It shouldn’t, so long as I use lube, and go slow. But, since this is your first time, it might be helpful to do a bit more preperation.” She explained before she planted a few more soothing kisses to his neck, “Mostly so you’ll be comfortable with the toy near your ass.” “Eughh, do you have to phrase it like that, Chidorita?…” He muttered, the red-haired woman able to feel the heat of his blush as she chuckled. “Do you want the preperation, though?” She asked again in a hum, and lifted her head away from his neck to watch the thoughts dance in his dark hazel eyes. “Um...no. I- Just, just make sure it doesn’t hurt, I guess?” He said, and she nodded. Then, she gave him a slow, tender kiss that seemed to melt some of his nerves away.
Then, she pulled away to get up and fetch the strap-on and lube she’d bought from the very last drawer of their dresser. And, while Junpei watched her with nerves in his eyes, Chidori put it on and made sure the straps and toy were secure before returning. “Y-you’re sure this will be fun?” Junpei asked again, his dark hazel eyes still focused on the smooth blue silicone of the dildo while she pulled her cherry-colored hair up into a ponytail. And, while she barely smiled, she was sure that the man could hear the warmth that burned in her chest. “Yes. If you don’t like it, we’ll stop. And you can tell me to stop whenever you want.” She assured as she poured a generous amount of lubricant over the smooth, non-descript dildo that was attached to the harness around her hips. Junpei’s dark eyes quickly glued to the slow movement of her hand, anxiety still alight in them, but it had ebbed under the trust he clearly held for her.
So, once the toy was slick with lube, she pushed his legs a bit further apart so that she could line the tip up with his ass. And, she was sure to push into him at a slow pace so she could easily pause whenever her husband whimpered or squirmed. “This feels weird…” He mumbled after a few inches were in, so Chidori pulled out a bit, “Do you want me to stop, hon?” But, he shook his head, “N-no! No, it doesn’t feel a bad sort of weird. I just...it just feels kinda generally weird. You can keep going.” He assured, so she leaned forward to support herself on her elbows and steal a few light kisses in the hope of easing what remained of his anxiety as the dildo filled him. Once she had bottomed out, though, she paused yet again to study his expression.
His cheeks were a darker color, and his mouth was open slightly to let him gulp down the sex-scented air in their bedroom, but she could see the first sparks of pleasure glint in his widened, dark eyes. Which, was a beautiful sight for the cherry-haired woman to drink in until she spoke once more, “Are you okay, Junpei? Is it too much?” “No- I mean, yeah, I’m okay, no it’s not too much.” He breathed, which got a ghost of a smile from the woman. So, she gently moved his arms so that he could wrap them around her before she began to move.
So, she continued. Sure to keep her pace slow for him to adjust, and quick to litter his face with butterfly kisses and murmured soft praises when he let out sighs of pleasure. “You’re doing really good, dear.” “Remember to tell me to stop if you want, okay?” “Good boy, Junpei.”
Each whispered phrase added to the air a bit of sugar to draw out more moans, whimpers, and sighs from her husband. And, while the harness around her hips did little to sate her own desires, the sight of Junpei’s face twisted with melancholic pleasure as the silicone of the toy drug against his walls kept her plenty excited.
And, when that fizz ebbed, she kept her own desires reinvigorated with the myriad of marks she left across his shoulders and throat. Always mindful of her teeth, but still harsh in the marks she left on her partner’s lightly tanned skin. Each surprised whimper that the pain earned like a shot of adrenaline into her blood that strengthened when her slow movements earned another lustful noise from the dark-haired man.
From there, she just let the noises and sting of his dull claws on her shoulders and back fuel the desire within her. Which, in turn, continued to encourage her thrusts into him. Thrusts that she could tell felt good for her husband with a small flick of her brown eyes down to his untouched erection to watch it twitch and drool precum onto his belly with each deep push into him. “Are you doing alright, dear?” She hummed, a smallmoan slipped out when he clawed into her back again as a response. “I-I’m gonna take that as a yes…”
“S-speed up a bit...please…” He panted, and Chidori was more than happy to oblige his breathy demand as best she could. Especially when he rewarded her with another moan and another scratch to her back. So, she picked up the pace for him, doing her best to continue to drive the dildo into his prostate between more nips and kisses to her husband’s barred throat. “Good boy, Junpei. Cum for me, dear.” She hummed, a bit more of an order than she intended, but that wasn’t her fault. Chidori couldn’t help but become a bit aggressive when her husband squirmed and wiggled beneath her, his legs around her hips so that he could try to match her movements in a chase for release.
Junpei’s desperation made extra adorable when paired with his whimpers and breathless moans. Which, made the redhead make a mental note to edge the man next time. Even though this time, she didn’t have the time to do so, because all it took for Junpei’s load to spill onto his belly was a single, slow stroke to his neglected cock.
So, instead of edging, Chidori stilled her movements to let the ripples of euphoria wash over her husband and watch as his eyes rolled back into his head. The dark-haired man left breathless and with a small quiver in his legs as they slid down over her hips. Only when she could see his lust-glazed eyes again, did she purr, “How did it feel, hon?” in her usual lukewarm, dry voice as she watched his thoughts slowly spark back to life in his head. “Strong...holy shit, Chidorita…”
She quietly chuckled at that and captured her husband’s lips in a tender kiss while she slowly pulled out of him. Though, despite the softness of their kiss, Chidori’s belly couldn’t help but stir with sadistic joy at the pained whine he gave. “Good,” She hummed once they’d broken the kiss and she’d pushed herself up. Her hands quickly at work on the harness while Junpei did his best to scrape his thoughts together while he watched the equipment hit the floor of their bedroom. “Now it’s my turn, hon. Feel free to cry if it hurts.”
