A Manor of Shadow and Blood
Genre: Regency Gothic AU
Pairing: EXO x Reader
Summary: A stormy night brought you to the manor in the middle of the woods. Nine strange men occupied its halls. They won’t let you leave. A dangerous secret haunts this estate. Learning it might either be your saving grace or it could lead to the last breath you ever take.
Part: 1 I 2 I 3 I 4 I 5
**
The grand hall was lit as bright as midday. Every surface was polished to perfection, reflecting the candlelight at a greater force. Brilliant brass and gold surrounded you as you made your way through the dancing couples, their movements in perfect sync. Wrapped in each other's arms, they spin around without a care for your wandering presence.
While all who surrounded you were decorated in blacks and whites, your own dress was the color of freshly spilled blood. The heavy skirts that hug from your waist made it difficult to navigate the ballroom. Their fullness was of an older fashion, one that maybe your grandmother would have worn in her youth. The dropped shoulders left you exposed, your skin chilled despite the amount of bodies in here.
You kept navigating the dance floor, on the look out for something, though you didn’t know what. Then you felt the familiar burn of eyes boring into your back, which sent a shiver down your spine. You whirled around to find the source, the dress brushing at your feet with the sudden motion. Through the crowd, you spotted Baekhyun leaning against the wall. With a single finger, he beckoned you over. And you obeyed.
Breaking through the sea of dancers, you took in his elegant suit, the hems lined with gold thread that shimmered against black velvet.
"You shouldn't dance alone," he purred. Arms crossed over his chest, he smirked at you with a grin even the devil wouldn't wear.
"I have no partner," you retorted. He held out a lazy hard. Hardly the romantic gesture. "No, thank you."
"How about me?" asked a sweet voice in your ear.
You turned your head to find Junmyeon at your back. He laid a soft hand on your hip to keep you from escaping out of propriety. When you didn’t shove him away, the hand slyly moved to your stomach, pulling your bare shoulder blades into his chest. With the fingers of his left hand, he tilted your chin towards him.
"Am I a suitable partner?"
No answer passed your lips. You could think of nothing to say. The thought of him twirling you around the dance floor was not… unpleasant.
Junmyeon neither needed nor cared for a reply. He dipped his head to your shoulder and pressed a kiss to the skin. A small gasp passed your lips. And then he pressed another. More and more as he climbed up the curve of your neck. Heat rose from every inch of you as you sighed into the affectionate touches. You relaxed into his touch, welcoming each new contact of his lips.
"It's rude not to share, Junmyeon.”
Your attention snapped back to Baekhyun, who you had forgotten was there. He pushed himself off the wall and stepped closer to you so he stood in front of the minor.
No, not a mirror. There was no reflection.
Except… there was. The mirror reflected the floor, the ceiling, the candlelight. You.
But not Baekhyun. Not Junmyeon. And not the dancers still spinning behind you.
Fingers snaked through your hair and pulled your head back, your vulnerable neck exposed. From the gallery above, Kyungsoo watched as elongated fangs flashed behind Junmyeon’s lips and plunged into your neck.
*****
You woke with a start, the blanket flying off of you as you sat up in a fury. Sweet drenched every pore of your skin. Your day old dress clung to your skin in a way that felt suffocating. Each breath was a struggle for your lungs.
Vampires. The nightmarish tale that had kept you up as a child until you were convinced they weren't real turned out to be true. But how could they be real?
Creatures of the night. Blood drinkers. Horror stories meant to keep children from wandering about after dark.
Curling your legs to your chest and encasing them in your arms, you tried to think of a way out. To escape. With what strength you possessed, you slid off the bed and walked over to the window. The sun, so bright and full of life, was just beginning its descent towards the horizon. Night–their domain–was hours away. If the legends were true, then they would all be asleep at this moment. Any risk that was to be taken had to be taken now.
After changing into a sturdier dress, you retrieved your still mud-covered boots and, keeping them in one hand, you carefully pushed away the pathetic barrier and snuck out of the room.
Each step was taken with unmatched caution. You tested every board with your foot before fully committing. Any squeak of a floor or stumble down a stair could alert them to your escape. But by the grace of a miracle, you made it to the front door. Fingers trembling, you pulled on the boots and tied up the laces before opening the door only wide enough for you to slink through.
The next breath taken outside was like the first breath of life. But there was no time to take it in.
Gathering your skirts in your grip, you took off into the trees. The dirt was dry and sturdy under your feet. Branches and leaves crunched with the weight of your boots. A lady’s delicacy was out of the question as you ran without abandon. You didn't know what direction you were running. But vampires needed blood to survive and they weren’t drinking yours. And Jongdae had brought those buns from a bakery, not their own kitchen. You doubted any of them knew how to cook. That meant a village or town had to be nearby. Junmyeon had lied about the isolation of the manor. If you just kept going, you could find freedom.
However, your stamina was running out. This was never your preferred activity. Your lungs and throat burned in an unfamiliar way. The sun still shined above. A short respite could be spared.
You leaned against a tree trunk for support. In your boots your feet pulsed. Only now did you realize that you had run away without food or water. Not knowing where the kitchen was located, you didn't have time to waste on it. You could survive, you told yourself. Just a little farther. The town couldn’t be too far. Unless you were headed in the wrong direction.
A rustling rippled through the silent forest. You snapped to attention, trying to find the source.
“The wind,” you gasped between ragged breaths. “It had to be the wind.”
A low, rumbling growl said it wasn't wind.
In the distance, large silhouettes emerged. Wolves. Nearly a dozen of them.
You ran as fast as your crying legs could take you. With their superior nature built for the hunt, the wolves caught up to you within seconds. Their growls and howls grew louder and more threatening behind you. Running from the manor had been easy. Running from the wolves was to be your end.
Powerful paws slammed into your back. You were thrown to the ground, rolling across the ground as a scream ripped at your throat. The momentum stopped you on your stomach. Hair covered your face, but you could still see your death through the strands.
Wolves of gray and black gathered in a half moon circle. They had their prey in perfect position. The middle wolf pounced. All you had time to do was throw up your arms to protect your face. Claws raked across your forearm. Another scream echoed through the merciless trees. The wolf landed on the other side of you with pride. Now you were surrounded. A second wolf leapt.
A blur appeared in front of you and collided with the wolf midair. The two bodies tumbled across the forest floor. A human and the wolf.
Not a human.
Chanyeol. The wolf trapped within his grasp, Chanyeol tightened his grip–
Crack.
The wolf fell limply to the ground, its tongue hanging from its jaw.
The others appeared seconds later. Not understanding what they were up against, the wolves let you go to attack the newest threat.
"Are you alright?" Junmyeon knelt down in front of you. His hands were outstretched as if you were the wild animal on the verge of attack. Behind him, snarls and whimpers told of the fight–and who was winning. Despite not answering him, he caught sight of your bleeding arm. "We need to get back to the manor."
He didn't ask permission before picking you up into his arms and sprinting through the forest. Everything blurred past you, your loose hair whipping at your face. He burst through the manor doors and didn't stop until he was able to set you down in the largest chair. Once you were safe, he fell to his knees, only his palms keeping him upright. The others soon stumbled in behind him, heaving and collapsing onto the floor. Only then did you notice the smoke floating up from each of their backs. Patches of burnt, red skin sizzled on their knuckles and faces. Anything that had been exposed to the sun.
"Baekhyun," Junmyeon gasped.
"I already have it." Kyungsoo came into the parlor with bottles stacked in his arms. He quickly passed them around, waiting until the others were quenching their thirst before pulling the cork out of his own bottle and chugging the contents.
With his bottle empty, Junmyeon tossed it to the side and wiped his mouth with his sleeve. Red smears stained the ivory fabric. You shrank back in the chair as he turned towards you.
"What hell were you thinking!" He growled. "I warned you about the wolves!"
"Junmyeon, she's shaken up enough," Jongdae defended. Before your eyes, his burnt skin healed to be like new.
"She could have been killed!"
Your head was pounding. He was… concerned about your life? The legends said that the sun was a vampire's deadliest enemy. It was why they thrived in the darkness. But they had all risked a final death to come after you.
"Did you hear me scream?" you whispered. You could barely feel your own lips moving. All heads tuned to you.
Yixing was the one to answer. "Yes. We all heard you."
"Why were you out there?" Sehun asked aggressively.
You sucked in a sharp breath. There was no escaping the truth now. You stared at Jongdae. "I figured it out.”
Baekhyun laughed. "At least we don't have to walk around delicately anymore."
"When exactly did you do so?" Minseok mocked.
"Then you should remember what I said to you before was true. Harm would not come to you within these walls." Junmyeon crouched down next to the chair. His eyes... there was something behind the darkness that tugged at your still wildly beating heart. "I know you were running away. And if you're desperate to get away enough to get yourself killed, then the choice can be yours. We can send you on your way with every provision. Or," he cleared his throat, "you stay here. With us."
A choice? He was giving you a choice?
Your gaze drifted over the faces that stared back at you. Even Kyungsoo refused to look away while he waited. There was almost a plea in his expression, a subtle beg. But was it to stay? Or for you to run as far away as possible?
Junmeyon took your attention away when he picked up your wounded arm with delicate fingers. His pleading was much more clear.
To leave would be the better choice. The more sane choice. But what would happen afterwards? You could claim being lost in the woods. With evidence of the carriage and the missing driver, what else could they believe? After a few days on bed rest, you would be back by your aunt's side, following her every whim. Including indulging her on a "perfectly adequate" suitor because you had no other option, no other path. That suitor who would then become your future. But you didn't want it. You refused to give in to it.
Already within these few days, you were… changed in a way. They might not be human, but these men would forever be burned into your memory. Who could move you with music the way Chanyeol had? What silent strength could match the aura of Junmyeon? You had been promised that none of them would harm you. The chance for something extraordinary was right in front of you. The kind of chance you had only read about. It just had to be taken.
"I think… I think I want to stay."
*****
The moon became an ever changing friend. You hardly saw the sun anymore. Like the men you had given yourself over to, you lived under the stars. It was oddly beautiful. This time was often forgotten about by you and many others. The night was only a background to your time within your dreams. But now it was your entire world.
Every evening, you awoke to the dying orange light of the day. Breakfast always waited for you outside the door. It was the rule that no one broke; none could enter your room without explicit permission from you. Those walls remained your safe haven when things grew too overwhelming.
Despite your decision to stay, discovering that other creatures walked the earth required a step away once in a while. Especially now, with you aware of their true nature, the men were refusing to hold back.
Dropping from the roof, running around with spectacular speed, and lifting objects that ten men couldn't hold. It was remarkable. Except for the diet and inability to walk in the sun, the… condition seemed more like a blessing.
"You're rather thoughtful this evening,” Jongdae commented. He walked beside you like he did every twilight.
After you finished your breakfast, you met Jongae at the front doors to go on a walk around the manor grounds. Often others would join you as well. Junmyeon was the most frequent, though Yixing, Changed, and Jongin made many appearances over the past week and a half. Boundaries were constantly tested, but one word from you and they retreated.
"I guess you could say I am thoughtful tonight," you finally sighed. You hadn’t realized that you were being so obviously quiet. Funny, since you would have thought Jongdae would enjoy the silence. You typically had many questions or comments of your own to make.
"Should I go steal a penny from Sehun?"
You laughed. "I'd like to think my thoughts are worth more than a single penny.”
"They must be if you've become so skilled in deflecting from them." He crossed over to block your path. Gaze narrowed, he studied your carefully guarded expression. "What are you thinking about so hard? Regretting your decision to stay already?"
"No," you insisted. "Not at all."
He raised an eyebrow that simply asked, "Then what?"
"Do you always stay here?" you countered. "At the manor, I mean."
"We travel," Jongdae answered with a nod. "Not too often. It’s a bit difficult, you see."
"But we like traveling north.” Minseok dropped from who-knew-where, landing with barely bent knees and hands folded behind his back. "In the winter, the night lasts longer. Junmyeon has a small hunting lodge up there.
A hunting lodge? "Then why do you stay here?"
Minsoek shrugged. "This manor is bigger."
"Having nine of us in one household can be a bit volatile,” Jongdae added. He stepped aside to continue the stroll. "We need the room to separate so we don't level a building."
Your foot caught on an invisible lump in the grass. "You could destroy a building while fighting?"
Minseok snickered as he caught your stumble and helped steady your stance. His hand lingered at your waist until your sharpened glare made him remove it. "We haven’t crumbled a wall in a few years."
You scoffed at the casual tone. "What sort of fight caused that?"
"I can't remember." Minseok leaned forward slightly to look at Jongdae for help. But he didn't seem to recall either.
"Who knows what started it between Chanyeol and Kyungsoo.”
Your mouth dropped open in shock. Kyungsoo and Chanyeol had fought over something to the point of destroying a wall to crumble? It didn't feel plausible. Neither seemed like the hot-headed sort. You wanted to know the igniting incident so desperately.
Both Jongdae and Minseok suddenly whipped their heads towards the front of the manor.
"What is it?" you asked when neither offered an explanation.
"Junmyeon's calling for us." Jongdae scooped you up into his arms without warning. At your confused expression, he explained, "We're not leaving you alone out here." Remember your last adventure in the woods lingered in the silence.
The short lived wind whipped at your hair that you still wore loose to cover your neck. As soon as he stopped running, you wiggled out of his arms to be back on your feet. Everyone else was already gathered just outside the door. Several eyed you and Jongdae with suspicious and annoyed glares. You took a step away from him for some separation.
Clearing his throat, Junmyeon called everyone to attention. "We have to go hunting–real hunting. Now, normally, we all go together, but now that we have our guest," he nodded towards you, "some will have to stay behind with her until the first party… comes back."
"If you all need to go,” you couldn't quite speak the word feed, "then I'll be alright. For a few hours, at least." You weren't sure how long this excursion would take.
Junmyeon's features softened. "No. We'll go in groups. Chanyeol, Kyungsoo, Minseok and I will go first. We shouldn't be gone long." He reached out and patted the top of your head before disappearing into the trees. Kyungsoo gave no goodbye as he followed suit. The last two playfully shoved each other while taking off.
"Come." Yixing took hold of your hand and started pulling you inside. "I want to show you something."
"But–" You had wanted to ask Jongdae a question, but the traitor was already gone, off somewhere to do something he would never tell you about. So, you let Yixing take you into the manor and up the main staircase at the end of the hallway. At least he let you stay on your own feet instead of insisting on going at his speed.
Going down an unfamiliar hallway, you were reminded how big this place was and how much you still had to explore. The men occupied most of your time, vying for your attention and pulling you this way and that so you didn’t have much time on your own. It was odd and overwhelming at times.
During your seasons in town, you were hardly a well-sought after prize. There were prettier girls with grander dowries. You had accepted that fact. Now you were the center of a courting dance to which you knew none of the steps and possessed endless partners.
Yixing paused in front of a door that looked identical to all the others. He kept his fingers tight around yours as he slowly turned the knob with his free hand. The door swung open.
The gasp inhaled through your parted lips wasn't enough to convey your awe.
Maps of all the places you'd heard of and dozens more you hadn't covered the walls like homemade wallpaper. Slipping out of Yixing's grip, you walked further into the study, spinning slowly around to take it all in. The maps were varying degrees of tan, some as light as his skin, others as dark as animal leather.
Instead of bookshelves, doorless cabinets waist high lined three of the walls. Their squared shelves were stuffed full of parchment and ink and quills. A lone sketcher's desk sat in the middle, an unfinished drawing laying against the tilted surface.
"What is this place?"
"It's my personal study," Yixing answered as he laid a hand on the edge of the desk. "Kyungsoo gave it to me after I had accidentally taken over one of the parlors."
Your awe increased ten-fold. Your initial assumption was that he was a collector, not the original artist. "You drew all of these?"
He nodded almost... shyly. "I did. I was a cartographer. Before."
"Before?" You understood what he meant, but you didn't know how to ask for the story.
Turning his eyes to the parchment, he pinched it between his fingers. "I didn't just love traveling. I loved capturing it on paper. I wanted to make these places into art, but not like every other painting. I wanted them to be perfect. Exact replicas as if you were staying at them from God’s point of view. And I wanted to be the best. I couldn't be, though. I wasn’t good enough."
You moved closer to him, entranced in the story. "What happened?"
A rueful smile tightened at his lips. "I was given a chance to become perfect. What I didn't know was that I traded everyone knowing my maps for the talent to make it happen." Sorrow rolled from him like the tide warning of an oncoming storm.
Feeling the pull to comfort him, you reached out and covered his fidgeting hand with your own steady fingers.
"People will be able to know your work some day," you whispered. "I’m sure of it."
Perhaps you had been a bit too forward, a bit too open.
Yixing moved gracefully forward to eliminate most of the space between you. A smooth thumb that once must have been calloused when it was human caressed the edge of your jaw. His flickering eyes made intentions obvious.
Clearing your throat, you stepped out of the touch. "Why isn't this one finished?" You pointed to the drawing on the desk. It was an aerial view of the manor, with the top half of the parchment containing the beginning edges of the garden hedges. Disappointed, Yixing sighed and went along with your distraction.
"I'm still working out the maze. It is intricate. Much more than I was prepared for."
"Goodness." You were thankful that you hadn't wandered in there yet, especially on your own.
"Yixing.”
Both of you turned towards the door to find Sehun standing under the frame.
"Yes, Sehun?" Yixing said through somewhat gritted teeth. The young vampire wasn't phased.
"I need to speak with you."
"Fine." None of you moved.
Sehun looked at you with a pointed glare.
You received the hint loud and clear. "I'll leave you, then.”
With more relief than you cared to admit, you scurried out of the room and down the hallway.
Around the corner, you pressed your back against the wall and forced yourself to take deep breaths that filled your lungs to capacity. Panic had been the response at Yixing's closeness. You didn't mean for that to be the response. You didn't want to be closed off to any of them. But you couldn't help it. Maybe it was merely the closeness of the situation.
Giving yourself a small amount of grace, you pushed off the wall and made your way downstairs. So used to your time being absorbed by the men that you weren't sure what to do with yourself. Two of the ones that remained behind were currently occupied. As for the three others, they could have been anywhere.
You wandered around the main floor with a fleeting hope that one would come to find you. Then you saw them. A row of grand doors evenly spaced along the north wall called you forward.
The grand ballroom took your breath away. Not so dissimilar to the one in your dream, though this one’s lack of warmth and light left you heartbroken. Memories of dancing figures and lively music haunted these walls. In the corner, you could imagine a small orchestra strumming their instruments in delight.
You walked to the center where dozens of pairs used to twirl and bow and embrace each other in time with the melody. Ghostly laughter echoed in your ears. What had once been bright and golden and full of life was dull, dark, and covered in cobwebs that swayed in the breeze of unknown origin.
Glancing around, you confirmed that you were truly alone before closing your eyes, lifting your arms, and began a soft hum.
You danced with an invisible partner in the fashion that your grandfather had taught you as a small child. It was more intimate than the choreographed dances currently popularized. You had always imagined your first ball like this, instead of the disappointment you really experienced. You had pictured a boy you didn’t know catching your eye. As the music was struck up, he laid a hand on your waist.
Just like now.
Hm. Your imagination was running wild, even pretending the weight of a palm was there on your lower back. And now in your lifted left hand.
No. That wasn’t your imagination.
Your eyes snapped open.
Jongin had taken the place of your imagined partner. He smiled down at you with a feline smirk as his hands tightened around you, refusing to let you slip away. There was no choice in leaving this musicless dance. You had stopped humming but he continued to whirl you around the marble floor. He controlled the dance, in charge of every step. He led with an expertise he shouldn’t have possessed–if he were a man of this age.
In one final move, he slipped his arm fully around your waist, pulling you so close that no room remained between you. Without breaking the spin, he lifted you from the floor as if you were no more than a kitten and whirled you around like the heroine from your favorite novel.
When the spin came to a close, he set you back on your feet, but didn’t let go. Your lungs heaved from the exercise–and from the way your bodies pressed together. Each rise of your chest brought you even closer to Jongin. He kept your gaze like a stablehand trying to calm a wild horse. His right hand slipped from your fingers, softly tracing the delicate inside of your arm. The touch left behind a fire you couldn’t explain. A cold, simmering fire.
He cupped your jaw as his eyes drifted down to your lips. This was a different reaction to Yixing’s wandering gaze. Not panic, but something similar.
Jongin held you in place as he leaned down, his lips pressing gently into the corner of yours. The thin breath in your lungs hitched. He lifted his lips only to find a new patch of skin. The delicate skin covering your pulse. Every muscle in your body froze. He kissed the skin softly. Surely, he could feel the race of your blood.
“Whenever you need a partner,” he said in a hush against your neck, “just whisper my name.”
And then, he was gone.
You stared off at the empty path left behind Jongin. The sheer hubris.
His name lingered on your lips, wondering if he would really come back like he said. But you kept the whisper inside and left the ballroom just the same.

[Tales from the Pack] Jeonghan: Sold (Part Three)
Characters: Jeonghan x female reader
Genre/warnings: werewolf au, fantasy, angst, loooots of mentions of the black market/human trafficking, people in cages, shock collars, violence, murder, guns, possible minor character death, just a lot of bad things happening here and it's very chaotic lmao
Word count: 3,253
Summary: If Jooyeon and Baekhyun never went snooping around the black market, they would’ve never discovered the human trafficking ring and wanted to help. They would’ve never discovered you inside one of the many cages full of people, and Jeonghan would’ve never went against the alphas and demanded they help. But for you, Jeonghan would do anything, even if it means bringing back trouble from a past he never knew about.
a/n: things in bold are meant to be in english
Previous | Next | Sold Masterlist
“Look me in the eyes and tell me you wouldn’t do it if it were Jooyeon in there. Or Yeji. Or Soomin. Or any of the girls in this household. You’d see your mate laying in a cage, dirty, exhausted, knowing they were being sold off to a pack of mate-collectors, and you’d just let them go?”
That was enough persuasion for the pack to finally cave and agree to help Jeonghan. Those who had mates understood how it felt. The others could imagine how horrible it must’ve felt to see that, and the determination Jeonghan felt to do anything possible to get you out of that situation.
Junmyeon’s pack was hard to persuade – well, except for Chanyeol – but they eventually agreed to help.
“I don’t think we’ll be able to overtake whoever’s behind the ring, though,” Junmyeon admitted. “We don’t even know how many people are involved.”
“Hanbin will no doubt help us,” Kyung said.
“I can ask Chris, too,” Cooper shrugged. “At least having Felix or Changbin would be helpful.”
“Either way,” Seungcheol interrupted, “we’re going to plan this from all angles. Whether we have four packs or just two – we’re going to make sure we can pull this off.”
“Our main goal is getting Blue out of there,” Jihoon added on, “but we’re gonna try to save as many people as we can.”
Jongdae stopped the explanation, “Who’s Blue?”
“That’s what Jeonghan started calling her,” Joshua explained.
“It’s the color of her collar,” the boy in question shrugged. “What else am I supposed to call her?”
“That rhymed!” Soonyoung smiled, pointing to Jeonghan enthusiastically before taking Jihoon’s palm to the back of the head.
“Where are these captives expected to go after they’re free?” Sehun wondered. “Just…wander off into the woods? They’ll just get caught again.”
“Cooper and I worked together with an ally of mine to find some safe housing for them,” Kyung explained. “Her and her partners work under the table as werewolf doctors. Besides, the public already views werewolves as horrible creatures so I’m sure anybody would be willing to take someone in who was almost a part of a werewolf kidnapping.”
“And how long do we have to figure all of this out?” Yixing questioned.
“That’s the problem,” Seungcheol sounded a little afraid and unsure now, “...we don’t know. Which means we have to plan this and execute it immediately.”
-
You felt absolute fear watching the girl be thrown to the ground, blood covering half her face. But you didn’t scream or even move. You learned not to. You did anything you were told to avoid drawing attention to yourself. Anything to not get hurt more than you already were.
“Can you be fucking careful?” one of the other men snapped gruffly at the one who’d thrown the girl to the ground by her hair. “If they’re damaged, they’re not gonna pay as much!”
“They already paid half and it was more than enough,” another said.
“But I want the other half in full!”
You knew about whoever had bought you. The men kept saying you were going to be ‘slaves to monsters’, but you were pretty sure they were the real monsters. You’d heard all the stories about werewolves, but you didn’t feel any fear knowing you were soon going to be shipped off to a den of them. However, you didn’t trust any human anymore. Your whole life, all they’d done is hurt you and betray you. None of them were compassionate. All of them just looked for personal gain, and you were somehow always in the crossfire.
Maybe a life with werewolves would be better.
In the cage next to you, you heard a scoff. You already knew it was Saoirse. She seemed to always be doing something to get in trouble, but she was the only person there that you talked to. She was the only human you’d met that wasn’t completely horrible.
“They’re gonna be in for a rude awakening when these cages are empty one morning,” she muttered.
You scooted a little closer to the edge of the cage closest to her, “What?”
Saoirse was the only person you ever spoke to. You wouldn’t necessarily consider her a friend considering the trouble she got herself in, but she was someone that you could keep at arm's length. She’d been nice to you a handful of times, so you’ve gotten her out of trouble with her language barrier in return. You spoke to each other here and there to pass the time and relieve boredom, but that was really it.
She glanced over at you like she just now noticed you were there before she looked back at the scene in the middle of the tent, “Some creatures showed up here last night. They looked human but their eyes were something else, and they promised to get us all out of here.”
You were both speaking quietly so as to not draw the attention away from the men bickering among themselves, but you still kept stealing glances over toward them to make sure they didn’t notice the two of you talking.
“And you trust strangers to save us?” you questioned.
She shrugged, “What reason would they have to come here and find us? And why would they lie about saving us?”
“What reason would they have to save us?” you countered, looking back at her.
She tisked, “Let me have something to be hopeful for, will ya?”
“Hey!” one of the men yelled, making you jump but Saoirse didn’t even seem phased. You whipped your head around while her eyes just glanced behind you to the three men. “Do you two wanna be next?”
You quickly shook your head.
Saoirse never understood what they said, so she just muttered for them to fuck off like she always did, which then angered the men because they couldn’t understand her. Typically, they’d do something to punish her, but today, the man scoffed and waved the issue away.
“The freaks will have a field day with you,” he spat before the three of them left the tent.
“Guess lunch time isn’t happening…” she muttered with a roll of her eyes.
“You need to stop making things worse for yourself,” you huffed, your voice tired.
Truthfully, you were still feeling quite groggy. You always were, but you’d woken up only a few minutes prior to the girl getting beat for whatever reason the men found to do so. You didn’t want to go back to sleep but it was hard keeping your eyes open.
“I’m not letting shit like this happen to me without a fight,” she scoffed. “If I’m capable, I’ll do anything to stop what’s happening to us. I mean, those people last night wouldn’t have come and offered to free us if I didn’t stay awake.”
“We’re all going to the same place either way,” you finally snapped, sending her a glare. “You’re fighting for nothing and making it worse for yourself – and you almost dragged me down with you. Leave me out of your…righteous bullshit or whatever.”
You rarely snapped at Saoirse, but she still didn’t seem phased by it, “You need to stop letting bad shit happen to you, Girl. That’s why it keeps happening. You don’t do anything to try and fight back.”
“And which one of us have gotten beaten the most?”
Before Saoirse could come up with a snappy reply that you knew she’d have, the tent flaps opened again, and two different men showed up with stale bread. They tossed half a loaf in each cage that everyone would fight over and tear apart like animals. Some hurt each other in the process, so hungry that they were feral for every single crumb they could get, even if it meant scratching and grabbing at each other.
As always, you stayed away in a corner and watched the other six people in your cage dive after the bread tossed in, snarling and yelling and fighting over it. You didn’t get food, but at least you weren’t injured even worse.
“Hey. Girl.”
That’s what Saoirse called you. You didn’t have a name – not that you could remember. So she always called you Girl to get your attention.
You turned your head just in time to see Saoirse tossing something through the bars and into your cage. You quickly cupped your hands to catch whatever it was. A piece of bread half the size of your fist.
You glanced back up at her and she offered you a small smirk before biting into her half of the bread. Nobody in the cage dared fight Saoirse over the portion she’d managed to get because she was infamous for fighting back. They knew fighting against her would be a losing battle because she dared to even fight back against the men holding them all captive.
Maybe it was smarter to fight back like Saoirse, even if it meant worse punishments. But life had punished you so much already, and you were tired of fighting.
As you nibbled on your bread, turning so your back was to your cagemates, you decided one really couldn’t teach old dogs new tricks.
-
The locked gate in front of the flaps to the tent was no issue for Soonyoung before, but the pack needed him focused. So the question stood as the pack planned for the prison break: how to get into the tent in the first place without running into the werewolf traps set around the perimeters?
“Okay…” Cooper began slowly and softly, afraid to speak the plan she was brewing out loud because she didn’t want it to be considered bad or stupid, “what if we had someone on the inside who could unlock the gate? Like…maybe a mouse?”
“A mouse?” Chanyeol had scoffed.
Jihoon considered the idea and shrugged slightly, “I mean, that’s not a bad idea, actually. Small enough the guards probably wouldn’t see him.”
“Where the hell are you guys gonna find a trained mouse?” Baekhyun asked with an incredulous laugh.
Chris simply pointed with his thumb to the boy sitting beside him, “Perfectly trained, right here.”
“Make that two,” Jaesang said as he raised his hand to head-level.
And that’s exactly what step one of the plan was. A tiny gray mouse scurried around the perimeter of the outside of the tent, alongside a dark brown one, going up toward the black iron gate. The outside of the gate wasn’t protected this time, but Felix and Jaesang could see two men inside the gate that were a few feet away from the entrance.
They shimmied up one of the bars to the latch and together, managed to push it up, jumping down as the gate swung open so they could hurry inside before possibly getting stepped on, knowing they couldn’t see the people who would be following right behind them.
The two guards looked up, their conversation falling silent as the gate swung open seemingly out of nowhere.
“How the hell did that happen?” one of the men asked as they both stepped up to inspect the gate’s latch before closing it. “Did the latch break?”
“No, it looks–”
The man didn’t finish his sentence as his head was suddenly thrown back like he’d been punched in the face. The other guy looked up in surprise, only for his neck to get twisted at an unnatural angle, and with a snap, he fell to the ground. His companion soon met the same fate as a human Jaesang snuck up behind him while he was distracted with the pain in his now bloodied nose.
Seungcheol and Cooper appeared behind the first man’s body, Cooper’s hand on Seungcheol’s back being removed now that they were safe to be visible.
“There’s more guys around the back,” Felix informed them as the rest of the group began rushing in through the front gate. “We’re gonna have our work cut out for us.”
“We’ve got four packs against some humans,” Jinyoung chuckled, clearly feeling good about the odds. “It’ll be a piece of cake.”
“Just don’t get too cocky,” Hanbin warned.
“Cocky’s his middle name,” Kyung muttered before going off with her group to subdue the men keeping the people in the cages.
-
“Alright, get up! Everybody up! Let’s go!”
It wasn’t the first time you’d woken up to a man yelling for you all to wake up, but this wasn’t a voice you’d heard before. This one was softer, but still sounded urgent. Your eyes groggily peeled open as you tried to sit up, your bones and joints stiff and aching. Your vision was blurry so you thought you were surely just seeing things when you saw someone grab ahold of the metal bars and pull them open almost effortlessly. You sat up completely and rubbed at your eyes, only to see someone with blonde hair, yellow eyes, and a kind smile standing right in front of you, his slender fingers wrapped around the bars. He looked like an absolute angel with his perfect teeth, pink lips, and kind eyes that looked right at you. He made your heart flutter.
“Let’s get you out of here,” he said before pushing the bars apart enough to create a gap for the people in your cage to get out.
He was quick to scoop you up before the other six people in your cage trampled you to get free. But as soon as you were too close to the bars, your collar went off with a continuous shock that had you letting out a strangled yell.
Jeonghan was quick to grab the collar by the black box and rip the blue collar from your neck.
Unfortunately for the wolves, it was chaos trying to free these people. Of course, they were panicking trying to run away and weren’t going to listen to those trying to guide them safely outside the tent and to freedom. Some were guided out and made it to those waiting at the perimeter to guide them toward the safehouses they had set, but others were ignoring all instruction and running for their lives, getting hurt or killed in the process. Some of them ran out, clutching their necks as they were shocked to no end as they tried to make their escape.
Jeonghan wasn’t focusing on that. His only job was to get you out and get you back to the house as quickly and safely as possible. Once he had you, he was supposed to run for it, and that’s exactly what he was doing, dodging other captives and wolves as he ran for the exit with every wolf he ran passed covering him so he could make a safe escape with you.
As you were being carried out, you saw another man prying open the bars of Saoirse’s cage. She immediately leapt out and followed where the man was pointing to, running to follow after you and the strange man who was carrying you. Her eyes caught yours over his shoulder, and she seemed to brighten a little and give you a knowing smile as if to say ‘I told you so’.
The man jogged through the gates before he bolted for an escape.
“Jihoon!” he called. “Cover me!”
Jihoon stopped what he was doing as soon as he spotted Jeonghan, then his eyes looked behind him to see a guard chasing after them. His eyes glowed to life as he held his palm toward the man before flinging him backward toward the tent, his back hitting the iron bars of the gate.
You looked around, seeing absolute chaos around you as giant wolves tore apart men, and captives ran for their lives or were shot down. Then you looked behind you to see Saoirse still running behind you.
If you weren’t looking at her, you wouldn’t have known the scream that came from her mouth was hers before she hit the ground. You could see blood staining the back of her shirt, the pool of it spreading.
“Saoirse!” you cried, reaching your hand behind the man.
He skidded to a stop, turning to see who you were yelling for. He looked over at Jihoon again, and the alpha nodded, running toward the girl.
Jeonghan didn’t wait to see what would happen to Saoirse. He couldn’t wait. He had to get you home. He had to get you to safety. So he turned back around and continued running the way he had been.
While he was focused on your safety, though, you were fixated on Saoirse’s. Sure, she was trouble, but she was the closest thing you’d ever had to a friend. So while Jeonghan ran, you watched over his shoulder to see what her fate would be.
-
The scream cut through the tense air. Everyone had clamped their hands over their ears, eyes closing tight as if it could help drown out the scream. Mingyu’s eyes were watering just from the sharp noise.
Finally, it died off, leaving everyone to look to Eunjin standing in the doorway of the den, hands still holding a plate of food like nothing happened. But her blue eyes were locked on the girl at the end of the hallway, clinging to the back of Jeonghan’s shirt with fear in her eyes. Eunjin’s eyes were glossy and filled with tears, and the two wolves who had been left behind to take care of the mates began to panic.
Eunjin was staring at you.
“What happened?” Joshua asked urgently as he rushed over to her. He stood in front of her, gently gripping her upper arms and searching her eyes, but it was like he wasn’t even there to her. It was like she was still staring through him at you. “Eunjin? Did you hear something? Do you sense something? What is it?”
The three wolves waited for her response, but they knew her scream woke up every single mate upstairs and they would no doubt be down to ask questions soon. Immediately, they feared the worst. One of their own had died. Hell, maybe you were going to kill them. That wouldn’t have caught Eunjin’s attention like that. She would’ve sensed or heard something more significant than that.
And you were even more confused than anyone else because that was the first thing you experienced after Jeonghan opened the door.
It felt like time was frozen until Eunjin’s lips quivered and she said in a whisper, “I have a bad feeling again…”
The small group looked around at each other with a mix of worried and grim looks. They all knew what that meant. It was a feeling she got when she had met Hansol before. She screamed when she saw him, and then Jiung died and things went downhill with Kyung.
Then three pairs of golden eyes were on you, along with Eunjin’s blue eyes that sent a shiver down your spine for reasons other than her screaming at you.
But Jeonghan didn’t care. He didn’t care if you brought death or something, if he were honest. Maybe Eunjin just sensed death associated with you because of what had happened. He’d make up any excuse in his head for you. He’d defend you in front of his entire pack if he had to. All he wanted was you to be safe, and now that he had you in his arms, he could make sure you always would be. And he’d never let you go.

EXO members’ reaction on having a shy girlfriend around their (the idol’s) parents during family dinner 🤗
i think, fundamentally, all of them would try to reassure you somehow, like in their own way.
minseok: he would keep his hand attached to yours under the table, caressing your knuckles to make you feel less nervous. he would also ask his parents to go easy on you, as he knows how shy you can be.
junmyeon: whenever his parents aren't looking, he would lean in and whisper how well you're doing, besides giving you a kiss or two on your cheek. when you have to talk to his parents, answering questions or just being polite, junmyeon has the biggest smile on his face.
yixing: he lets his parents know that you're shy beforehand, so they won't pressure you in any type of way. he rarely presents a girlfriend to his parents, so when he does they know it's because that person means a lot to yixing - and the last thing he wants is for his parents to go all "are you the future mother of our grandchildren?" on you.
baekhyun: he tries to comfort you through physical touch as well, either is by resting a hand on your thigh or just being really, really close to you. he speaks about his mom with such love, i really think she might be a great person who can tell when someone's getting shy, so you can also count on her to make you feel better.
jongdae: his smiles are the only thing you need to know you're doing fine. like junmyeon, he would take his time to tell you to not worry, that his parents are loving you - which they truly were. he would also laugh a little bit harder at your jokes, just to make you win extra points with his parents.
chanyeol: i mean, have you seen him? have you seen his sister and mom? there's no way that family is making you feel uncomfortable. in fact, if chanyeol lets them know in advance that you're shy, his mom might even suggest you meet yoora first, and then her and his dad. but through it all, chanyeol has an arm around your shoulders and fingers brushing your arm.
kyungsoo: he can be quite shy himself, so he would ask his parents to please, just play it cool. he doesn't touch you or whatever, but he does give you little smiles from time to time. he also doesn't let his parents try any trick on you, which means that if any of them asks you something that might make you uncomfortable, he's more than ready to just say "mom/dad, don't". he respects your boundaries.
jongin: he tells you a million times that there's no reason for you to be that shy around his mom and sisters. having their approval over you means a lot to jongin, so he does everything he can to make you comfortable and talkative towards his family - he might even ask his mom to tell you embarrassing stories from his childhood, so you'll laugh and maybe loosen yourself a little bit.
sehun: similar to jongin, but their parents will tell you embarrassing stories about him on their own. he makes sure you're okay every minute, silently asking you if you wanna go home. he loves you to the point that, if you regret marking that dinner with his parents, he'll just excuse the two of you and mark it again in the future.

can you make exo members as your childhood best friend? and with fem reader please! love your writing <3
❃EXO members as your childhood best friend❃
A/N: Hiii thank you so much for this ask! I am so sorry that it has taken me months to finally respond to it :’) I spent the last few months birthing a 35.000-word, 65-page thesis so I didn’t have any time/energy left to do any creative writing. Regardless, thank you for this cute ask! It was fun reminiscing over my memories with my childhood friend that I have known since I was four months old. Thank you for being so patient with me the very long wait, hopefully, this makes up for it!
Xiumin/Minseok:
✾ Xiumin and you became friends during recess in primary school. He noticed your classmates constantly picked you last whenever you played a game together during recess. Thus, whenever he was chosen to be a team captain, he made sure to pick you first, resulting in you two becoming close friends.
✾ Your mom adores him; heck, she prefers him over you. Xiumin has always been the perfect son; he got perfect grades, is polite, is handsome, cleans up after himself, etc. Whenever you call her, she asks whether you can pass the phone to him so she can ask her favourite child how he is doing.
✾ He is a very consistent friend. Regardless of how busy his schedule is, he makes sure to drop by your place regularly. If he can't visit you in person, he will have a four-hour phone call with you instead, where you two talk about everything and anything happening in your lives.
✾ At some point during your friendship, he had a massive crush on you. He never told you -and you might not have noticed it- but it was incredibly obvious to everyone around you as they watched him follow you with puppy dog eyes. Your mother still holds out hope that you will end up together.
Suho/Junmyeon:
✾ You guys became friends all the way back in pre-school when Suho noticed you were having trouble learning how to tie your shoelaces. Five-year-old Suho wasted no time and offered to help you out, patiently teaching you how to do it. You have stuck together ever since, remaining close throughout your teenage years.
✾ Suho dragged you through secondary school; if it hadn't been for him functioning as your tutor throughout your educational career, you would not have had the grades you ended up graduating with. Nowadays, he mostly gives you advice on work and will look over contract details with you when needed.
✾ He was 1000% your wealthy, rich best friend growing up. His childhood birthday parties were incredibly lavish; he would take all his friends to theme parks when he was younger, his parents paying for every expense. Even nowadays, he never misses a chance to spoil you rotten, taking you on already-paid-for trips whenever he is able to.
✾ You guys have stayed at each other's places so often that you call each other's parents mom and dad. It is not unusual for one of you to have dinner with the other's parents without the other present.
✾ Compared to the other members, he is less consistent with meetups, not minding it too much when a lot of time passes between phone calls. You can go months without talking to each other before sending the other a random TikTok or stopping by each other's place unannounced.
Baekhyun:
✾ The two of you have a crazy story of how you met. You met Baekyhun shortly after moving into the same street. At the time, you were convinced mermaids were real, so you decided it was perfectly reasonable to dive into the river running next to your house to introduce yourself to them without actually being able to swim. Luckily for you, Baekyhun happened to be playing nearby and jumped in after you without a second thought, rescuing you from drowning. He still holds it over you whenever he needs a favour.
✾ You have so many weird stories of when you were growing up together. You two would constantly get into trouble, most of it initiated by Baekyhun. It got to the point where your teachers decided to put you in different classes to prevent you two from pulling pranks during class.
✾ Your place is his place, and vice versa. On one occasion, you accidentally switched apartments; Baekyhun had gone over to yours whilst you had visited him. You still complain that he should cover your grocery bills as he tends to eat most of the food in your fridge whenever he is over.
✾ Baekyhun is such a loyal friend; he will always have your back and drop everything to come running when you tell him you need him. Baekyhun has friends he has known for over 20 years; he is a friend for life.
Chen/Jongdae:
✾ Your dad and his dad were best friends, introducing you to one another when you were two years old in the hopes you would become best friends, too. At first, you two were painfully shy, hiding behind your fathers to stare at the other strange kid, but after leaving you two alone for an hour, you two became quick friends.
✾ He acts very much like a brother. Chen can be super annoying, teasing you whenever he gets a chance, but he will drop everything and anything when you call him. He will not let anyone else -not even his members- tease you; it is only okay if he does it.
✾ You two give each other the best advice. You guys regularly call each other to talk about whatever problems and hardships you are going through.
✾ Chen wasted no time in asking you to be one of the bridesmaids at his wedding. God knows how much you contributed to the two getting together and how much time you spent helping Chen plan the proposal.
✾ Chen and his wife immediately called you to ask whether you wanted to be the godmother the moment they discovered she was pregnant. He cannot wait for you to have a child of your own so they can become best friends, too.
Chanyeol:
✾ You two met in primary school when you were six, and your teacher decided to have you sit together. Chanyeol got super competitive when he discovered you had gotten a higher grade than him on a spelling test, resulting in a friendly rivalry. To this day, you two get along perfectly well, but the moment that grades or board games are involved, a war will break out.
✾ He 1000% bullied you into playing video games with him. Chanyeol even bought you a gaming laptop, trying to convince you to join him. Regardless of his schedule or location, you have a regular game night where you play random multiplayer games, affectionately yelling at each other.
✾ You developed a tiny crush on Chanyeol when you first saw him after he got his growth spurt. It did not last very long, however; you remembered he was the same Chayeol who once ate a crayon on a dare and puked the contents of his stomach all over your shoes.
✾ Chanyeol is the worst wingman. He is very protective over you, and, according to his opinion, nobody is good enough to date you. Whenever you go out drinking, he will lurk behind you, attempting to intimidate whoever dares to come up to you. This man might be secretly in love with you and absolutely in denial about his feelings.
✾ Chanyeol once wrote a song about your friendship, but he has not yet made up his mind on whether he wants to release it. Part of him feels he should save it for a solo album.
D.O./Kyungsoo:
✾ You met Kyungsoo as he is the son of your mother's best friend. His mother had asked yours to introduce you two as Kyungsoo was a painfully shy child, and she wanted him to have more friends his age. Initially, he was quiet around you, hiding behind his mother whenever she brought him over. However, he slowly came out of his shell the more you played together.
✾ You two didn’t attend the same schools but remained good friends nonetheless. Whenever school would end, you would rush to meet up underneath a big old tree in the park near your house. You would sit there for hours, talking about your day or doing your homework together, until it got dark.
✾ Kyungsoo never told you, but you were the main reason why he pursued a career in acting and singing. You never failed to hype him up, giving him the confidence to put himself out there. He fondly remembers the countless karaoke nights where you would be his biggest fan, praising his skills when the song would end.
✾ He definitely developed a crush on you somewhere during your teenage years. Kyungsoo never felt the need to act on it, finding your friendship too precious to risk anything. His friends were very aware of it, though, teasing him whenever he would rush out the moment school ended to meet up with you.
Kai/Jongin:
✾ You two met on a playground when you were three years old. Someone had pushed you off the wigwam, and Kai, seeing you cry, stood up for you as much as a three-year-old can stand up for someone else. He refused to leave your side after, playing with you until it was time to go home. You two have been close friends ever since.
✾ He insisted on you taking dance classes with him, thinking it was fun to have something to do together. It became your regular weekly meetup point, enabling you to stay connected even when you went to different schools. You would show up an hour before class would start, just so you could talk without being scolded by the teacher, and would take your sweet time walking home, squeezing out as much time as you could.
✾ You recognize that Kai is incredibly handsome whenever you see him perform, but all you are able to see when he thrusts his hips is the same kid who once fell into a pond when he was collecting a bunch of rocks because he thought they were pretty and cried over a feather because he felt bad for the bird that lost it. Having so many embarrassing childhood memories of him is why you are still sane and not drooling over him.
✾ Kai bombards you with messages throughout the day; you once had over fifty notifications from him as he sent you every video and photo of a dog or cat he stumbled upon.
Sehun:
✾ You and Sehun met during daycare and initially did not get along whatsoever. You two got into a fight when Sehun stole the stuffed animal you were playing with, resulting in the caretaker putting the both of you in time-out. Weirdly enough, you bonded over your time in toddler jail, becoming inseparable after you were set free.
✾ Sehun and you constantly bicker with one another, having no problem calling the other one out or, as you like to put it, keeping the other person humble. To those who know you well, they liken your dynamic to that of an old married couple. However, people who do not know your friendship tend to assume you hate each other.
✾ Sehun gets insanely jealous when you hang out with his members or other friends of his. You are his friend, and as much as he likes his friends getting along, the bratty part of him hates when you do not have time for him. He will become incredibly whiny when too much time has passed between meetups and when he feels like you are ditching him for your friends.
✾ Sehun is your favourite gossip buddy. He will randomly call you to tell you whatever drama he witnessed or caught wind of. If calling is not an option, he will instead send you a thirty-minute voice note explaining the situation in full detail. Your chat is basically a podcast where you update one another about people you do not know and drama that does not concern you.

jealousy (dom!junmyeon)
pairing: kim junmyeon x reader genre: smut, pwp word count: 2.1k synopsis: you make junmyeon jealous so he punishes you in his favourite way warnings: sadist dom!junmyeon, masochist sub!reader, established relationship, jealousy, whipping, degradation, name calling, piv, pussy slapping
author's note: this is unedited, i'm sorry!
☆*: .。. o💘o .。.:*☆
“This is what you fucking wanted, isn’t it?” Junmyeon said, anger in every syllable. “You wanted to make me jealous so I would act like this?” He shoved you against the wall, pinning you there.
“No, I swear,” you replied, your voice a strained whimper.
“Liar,” he spat at you. “You’ve been trying to drive me crazy all night.”
“It’s not true.” You really hadn’t been trying to make him jealous. The two of you had been together at an SM Entertainment company party, celebrating the launch of some new business venture along with his fellow members as well as many others. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. The drinks were flowing and Baekhyun had been in a particularly jovial mood, regaling you with stories of his latest vacation. The two of you were huddled in a corner while he was showing you the pictures on his phone.
And sure, maybe he had been flirting a little. He was Baekhyun, it was what he did. He just was a flirt. It didn’t mean anything. He’d linger a little too long on any vacation photos where he was on the beach, wet and topless, waggling his eyebrows at you jokingly while you giggled and rolled your eyes.
You hadn’t realised that Junmyeon was watching the two of you, seething the entire time. He hadn’t shown it. No, he was far too dignified and professional to lose his shit in public like that, not to mention he had his perfect idol image to maintain. Instead he merely ignored you when you would try to get his attention. But as soon as the two of you got home, it was like a switch had been flipped.
You were against the wall with Junmyeon’s arms on both sides of you. He was staring you down and you felt yourself shrink underneath his hard gaze.
“Junmyeon, baby, I wasn’t trying to make you jealous,” you said soothingly. You tried to reach out and put a comforting hand on his cheek but he grabbed you by the wrist.
“Did I say you were allowed to touch me, you fucking slut?”
The harsh words had you at once feeling chagrined and aroused. “I’m sorry, sir.”
“You’re gonna be,” Junmyeon said, taking a step back. “Take off your panties.”
“I- I’m not wearing any,” you stammered in response. You cast your eyes down on the floor, not even able to look him in the face. “For you, not anyone else. I thought it would be a fun little thing for after the party. I would’ve told you during the party but you would barely talk to me.”
You finally looked up at him and you saw the muscle in his jaw twitch ever so slightly. He snapped his fingers, pointing to the bedroom you shared. “Get in there and bend over the bed. Now.”
You didn’t need to be told twice. You ran to your room and did as you were told, bent over the bed with your ass in the air. It was a few minutes before Junmyeon entered the room, presumably because he knew the anticipation would only serve to make you wetter. He got behind you and lifted the skirt of your dress up over your ass, exposing you. He gave you one quick, hard spank and you yelped at the pain.
“Put your hands behind your back.”
You did, and he began to tie them up with what you knew was his tie from the way the soft silk of it felt on your wrists. He then reached down and stuck two fingers deep into your already sopping wet cunt. It made you moan to finally have something inside you.
“Desperate whore,” he said, pulling his fingers out of you and wiping them on your dress. You heard the jingle of his belt and you knew he was taking it off. “Brace yourself.”
Brace myself for what? You thought, seconds before you felt his belt whipping you across the ass. You yelped loudly and he chuckled.
“Junmyeon!” You cried, tears already forming in your eyes.
“Hmm?”
“That- It really hurt,” you said, pathetically.
“That’s the point, love,” he said, but he gave your ass cheek a comforting rub anyway. “Do you want me to stop?” You two had never used a safe word. If you ever wanted to stop, you just told him and he would.
You shook your head. “No… I liked it. You buried your head into the sheets, embarrassed at your confession.
“I know,” Junmyeon said, whipping you again, but lighter this time. “Spread your legs more. I can see by the way your slutty pussy is gushing for this, you little pain slut.”
You whined out, but didn’t protest, spreading your legs as he asked. He whipped you again, and again, and again. Every time he saw those little pink welts criss-crossing your ass, he got more excited. Seeing your pussy drip down your thighs as he marked you up was making his cock twitch in his pants and he couldn’t wait until the moment it was buried inside your cunt.
He whipped you again and you kept on making delicious little pained noises that only served to arouse him further. “Do you want more?”
“Yes, sir,” you whined, “I’ve been such a whore today. I deserve to be punished. Whip me more, please.”
“Good girl. I like when you know your place,” Junmyeon replied. He began whipping you again, focusing more on your thighs now, as your ass didn’t look like it could take much more. “Desperate sluts deserve to be hurt, don’t they?”
“Yes, sir,” you repeated, revelling in the pain and pleasure. You heard Junmyeon throw his belt down onto the hardwood floor behind you. He came up right behind you and put two fingers in your cunt again. It was shameful how easy he was able to enter you. He pumped your pussy a few times, and took his fingers out, leaning forward and showing you his slick soaked fingers.
“Do you think it’s normal to get this wet when a man hurts you? Don’t you think that’s a little fucked up?”
Shame spread throughout your body at what he said, “I’m sorry,” you apologised as his degrading words only made your desire for him stronger.
Junmyeon wiped his soaked fingers on your face and you winced, feeling the coolness of your arousal on your cheek. Your hands were still tied behind your back so you couldn’t wipe it off, not that you would’ve tried without Junmyeon’s permission.
“So,” Junmyeon said, grabbing you by the hair and pulling you up off the bed. You looked him in the eyes and he slapped you across the face. “Did I say you could look at me?”
“No, sir, sorry, sir,” you babbled, your cheek now smarting as well as your ass. You looked down at your feet so you didn’t see Junmyeon’s smirk.
He picked you up and threw you on the bed. You landed with a gentle thump on your belly and you squealed, although it didn’t actually hurt. Junymeon got on the bed and untied your wrists. He then flipped you over onto your back and tied them to the headboard instead. Your freedom had been so fleeting and always under his control.
He looked down at you and you closed your eyes, not that you would’ve minded getting slapped again, but you didn’t want to test him. You heard him chuckle, and he leaned down, sucking a hickey onto your breast. “You’re such a good, obedient slut for me when it’s just us. So why do you have to act like such a whore in public?”
You bit your lip, “I’m sorry, sir,” you repeated.
“Sorry, sir,” he mocked, a girlish imitation of your voice. “That’s all you can say for yourself. You’re so pathetic.”
You were going to apologise again, an automatic reflex at this point, but you stopped yourself. Junmyeon ran his hand down over your body, between your breasts, down your belly button and finally stopping when he got to your cunt, his fingers deftly rubbing your clit.
“Look at me,” he ordered, and you did, opening your eyes to meet his dark ones. He looked at you with amusement, enjoying the way you were falling apart underneath him. Without warning, he pulled his hand back and gave your cunt a smack. You yelped in pain, and he did it again.
“Tell me how much you love it when I hurt you.”
“I love it so much, sir,” you said, as tears filled your eyes when he smacked your pussy again. You were struggling against your restraints but it was no use. He smacked you once more. You cried out and he smiled sadistically.
“You’re so pretty when you cry, you know that?” He meant it. Something about your swollen eyes and lips always made him want to fuck you senseless. He smacked your cunt again and you screamed.
“Please stop… No more,” you said, trying to close your legs.
“Has my baby had enough?” Junmyeon asked, his voice softening considerably. He was always in tune with you and he never wanted to push you beyond your limits. He rubbed you between the legs in a gesture meant to comfort.
You nodded and he kissed you on the lips soothingly.
“Please Junmyeon… I need you…” you whined when he broke the kiss. “Please?”
“Does my baby wanna be fucked now? After she’s been such a bad girl?”
“Yes, please,” you said, stopping yourself from apologising again.
“Fine. You’ve been taking your punishment so well that I think you deserve a little treat.” Junmyeon positioned himself on top of you, getting in between your legs and pressing the tip of his cock to your wet folds, teasing you as you squirmed. “You’ll never fucking do that again, will you? Hmm? I won’t catch you in the corner of some room giggling away with Baekhyun or anyone again?”
“No, I won’t. It won’t happen again, I promise,” you replied. Just fuck me already, you wanted to scream, but you didn’t dare.
“Good girl,” Junmyeon said, as he pushed himself into you. Both of you moaned as he entered your body.
He began moving inside you while kissing you at the same time. You knew he wanted this as much as you did and you felt ecstatic at finally, finally being fucked.
“Does it feel good?” Junmyeon asked, continuing to kiss your face.
“Yes… God, so good,” you said, giving a little gasp of pleasure as he hit all your sweet spots.
“Your pussy always feels amazing,” he said with a groan. He moved deeper inside you, and you arched your back at the intrusion. You want to grab him, to hold on to him, or to something but your restraints wouldn’t allow it so you just released a frustrated moan.
Junmyeon smirked, slowing down and allowing you to gather yourself. “Is something the matter?”
“I just want to touch you, sir. Please…” You shook your wrists, gesturing to where you were tied to the headboard. You wanted desperately for him to remove them.
He looked at your tied wrists, as though he was contemplating whether or not to do it. He seemed to come to a swift decision though.
“No.”
With that, he sped up his pace again, his hands on either side of you as he looked you in the eyes. He liked how helpless and vulnerable you were underneath him. And he especially liked watching you struggle so pitifully, resulting in those pretty pink marks on your wrists.
“I’ve been too fucking nice to you already, you little slut,” he said, breathlessly, “You need to learn you don’t get to have everything you want.”
“But sir,” you began to protest, but they died in your throat once he began using his thumb to play with your clit. In a split second you were close. “Gonna cum,” you managed to squeak out seconds before you did.
You came with a moan all over his cock. He hadn’t said you could, and you usually asked permission but he let it slide considering how far gone he was too. Groaning, he soon came inside of you, like he always did.
The two of you laid in the bed, catching your collective breaths. Junmyeon untied you and you tucked yourself into his warm body. He gave you a kiss on your forehead.
“Learned your lesson?” he asked, teasingly.
“Hmm… I think I might need a reminder eventually,” you quipped back.
“Well, I’ll always be here to give it to you.”

pairing: mob!junmyeon x wife!reader
genre: smut 18+ MINORS DNI!!!!!
synopsis: reader pushes junmyeons buttons one too many times on vacation
warnings: pwp, p in v, swearing, doggy, choking, teasing, dirty talk, spanking, mentions of junmyeon being in the mob but it’s not that essential
a/n: i read a mafia fic the other day and now i’m a bit obsessed with my favorite men being mafia bosses or wtv so here is a mini.. self indulging story that nobody asked for but i wrote anyway. enjoy!!! this is unedited as always
junmyeon stands on the bottom deck of the yacht, phone pressed against his ear. the sun shines brightly on him, his shirt unbuttoned to get some color on his chest. his gold chain glitters in the light, and you’d be on your knees right now, if he ever decided to get off the phone.
you roll your eyes from up above and sigh. you tie your bathing suit coverup around your waist and slip your feet into your pink jimmy choos that match your pink bikini.
walking down the spiral stairs on the yacht, you get down to the deck where your husband stands on the phone. he turns around when he sees you and gives you a soft smile. you stare at him with your hands on your hips, unimpressed with his greeting, or lackthereof.
junmyeon opens his arm for you to walk into, and when you dont, he frowns, but continues talking on the phone. you sigh loudly, jutting your hip out to the side. your husband furrows his brows at you, keeping his eyes trained on you as he keeps on talking.
“jun,” you say, your voice full of irritation. he holds up his index finger to you, and you scoff, turning on the balls of your feet to go back to whence you came.
you huff all the way up the stairs, stomping your feet into the steps. untying your coverup, you ball it up and toss it onto one of the chaises and retake your seat, kicking off your shoes and rolling onto your stomach to tan your back.
a few moments later, you hear junmyeons footsteps and you roll your eyes. “baby,” he calls. you don’t respond and don’t look up when he stands behind you and blocks the sun. “you hear me talking to you, don’t you?” junmyeon says.
“didn’t know if you were talking to me, or one of your bitches on the phone,” you say, looking at him over your shoulder. by bitches, you mean one of his many men that look to him for orders and answers.
junmyeon chuckles and moves your legs so he can sit, placing them in his lap. “alright, i’m sorry,” he says.
“we’re supposed to be on vacation, myeonie! and you want to give orders when we’re in the middle of the ocean—i’ve barely even seen you!” you complain sitting up and turning around to face him. the smile he gives you is one that is mocking, and you frown at him. “don’t look at me like that, junmyeon.”
“you have my full attention, baby,” he says, motioning for you to come sit in his lap. you stay sitting on your knees on the chaise, your arms crossed over your chest.
“do i? because if you get another call, i’ll throw your fucking phone in the ocean,” you snap. junmyeon licks the corner of his mouth, looking down at his feet before placing his eyes on you.
“you know i don’t like when you talk to me like that.”
“and you know i dont like to be ignored… consider us even,” you say. his face falls flat and he shakes his head, a small smirk on his face.
“careful,” he warns, narrowing his eyes at you. you poke your tongue in your cheek and weigh your responses. you could give up, and have him be sweet to you, or you could test him and push him to his limits.
“or what?” you challenge, raising an eyebrow. junmyeons face hardens and you two stare at each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. you want to smirk, or worse, laugh, because it’s really a joke to you.
but it’s not for your husband, and you know it. which is why you push his buttons as often as you can, like now, even though you are annoyed at him and there is a better reason behind your attitude than simply just being bored.
junmyeon opens his mouth to respond, but is cut off by the sound of his phone ringing. he blinks once, a guilty look taking over his features when your face falls and your lips sag down. “don’t answer,” you say, reaching forward for his pants, but he’s quicker and stands up.
“it’ll be quick, baby,” he says, sliding the phone out of his pocket and pressing answer. junmyeon turns his back to you and walks over to the railing that overlooks the bottom deck. for a moment, you fantasize about ripping the phone out of his hands and chucking it into the water below.
instead, you gather your belongings: book, hat, sandals, sunglasses, water, and phone, and stomp down the stairs once again and put them away in the bedroom. you aggressively put away everything, putting too much force in opening and closing doors and drawers. you change out of your bathing suit and put on a loose dress and a pair of flat sandals.
angrily, you brush through your hair and pull it back into a low bun, frowning at your reflection. all you want is to spend some time with your husband, away from your house and his work and that general part of his life, and he can’t even give you twenty minutes of himself. and the trip was his idea!
huffing, you apply some lip gloss on your lips and grab your phone before heading into the kitchen/dining area. boat staff work diligently, and you want to tell them to stop, that your husband doesn’t deserve to be waited on, but you don’t. “hi, mrs. kim. dinner is almost ready,” your chef says. you give them a kind smile and thank them, opening the fridge to grab some of the cut up fruit.
you eat at the island, making light conversation with the staff. they relax around you in a way most people don’t with your husband, but you get it. junmyeon isn’t a scary guy, but he’s powerful and carries himself in a way that makes people dodge eye contact with him. if only they knew.
“hello, mr. kim,” the arrival of your husband makes the staffs chattering stop, and you hold off from rolling your eyes.
he greets everybody by name, shaking their hands and thanking them for helping you two out on your little trip. you don’t acknowledge him, not even when he puts his hands on your shoulders and hugs your from behind. “hi,” he says, kissing your cheek.
you grab his left wrist and look at his watch, scoffing when you see the time. “15 minutes is quick to you?” you ask, looking over your shoulder at him. junmyeon licks the corner of his mouth and bows his head.
“i’m sorry,” he says, kissing your cheek. “but it’s business.” junmyeon mumbles. you snort and swivel around on the stool, quirking an eyebrow. “important business.” he says, like that makes it any better, or you any less annoyed.
“and what am i?” you ask, pushing your knee between his legs. junmyeon chuckles nervously and push your knee upward, his hands quickly jutting out to stop you. the look he gives you makes your stomach coil, but you pretend is has no effect.
“i need to talk to you,” he says, his voice low.
“then talk,” you retort, crossing your arms over your chest. junmyeon rubs his bottom lip and steps away from you, starting to walk the direction of your bedroom. you watch him, knowing that you should actually be following him rather than gawking.
“y/n,” his voice is full of authority and it even makes the staff glance at you before averting their eyes. you stare across the room at your husband, and he curls one of his fingers in a ‘come hither’ motion. his eyes dare you to stay seated, waiting for you to push him past his limits.
you stand up silently and walk over to him, not meeting his eye as you pass by him. junmyeon holds you by the hip, walking you to your bedroom. “lose the attitude,” he mutters in your ear, pushing you into the room and closing the door behind you both. “get on the bed.” he says, his voice calm. but you know better than to assume that he’s just simply telling you to do something.
you sit at the foot and he walks over to you, your eyes trailing over his frame as he stops in front of you. theres love in his eyes, and you think he’s going to kiss you until he roughly grabs your jaw in his hand, yanking your head up to look at him. “so you can listen,” he sneers, his eyes narrowing at you. you glare up at him, shifting on the bed to press your thighs together. and maybe it was your plan all along, to have him play rough with you after being testy with him all day. “are you done acting like a brat? hmm?” he loosens his hold on your jaw so you can answer him, but doesn’t let go.
“jun- yes or no?” he interrupts. you only glare up at him and he shakes his head at you. “is that a no?” he gives you an out, but you don’t take it. you continue to glare up at him stupidly and he scoffs. “turn around.”
you get on your hands and knees on the bed, your mind swimming in anticipation. you can hear him behind you moving around, but you can’t feel or see him.
junmyeon sidles up behind you and pushes your dress up so you ass is on display. you take in a breath as he rubs a hand over your flesh lovingly, like you’re delicate.
but rather than a kiss, or a squeeze, a harsh slap that contradicts his gentle action is delivered to your rear. you grunt and lurch forward, biting your bottom lip. another slap, and then another, and another.
by the time you count seven in your head, you’re resting on your forearms, ass burning as you raise it in the air. you know you can tap out and anytime, that he’ll stop if you show any signs or disliking it. but you like when he’s rough with you, even if that means pain for a little while. “myeonie,” you whimper, face buried in the bedsheets.
“what? is it too much?” his demeanor changes at the prospect and he crawls onto the bed next to you, lifting you up so he can properly look at you. there’s love and concern in his eyes, and it makes your heart melt.
you shake your head, sitting up and grimacing when your heels press into the skin on your ass. “no… jun, i want you,” you say, reaching for him. and your soft, loving husband disappears and is replaced with the man from moments before.
“you think you deserve it?”
“i-ive been good!” you say, crawling over to him and wrapping your arms around him. he hums and kisses your neck once, twice, before pushing you down into the bed. “please?” you ask, pushing your underwear down and kicking them off.
“turn around,” he instructs, palming himself through his shorts. you do as he says, positioning yourself comfortably on your hands and knees and putting an arch in your back. junmyeon steps out of his shorts and boxers and strokes himself a few times before coming up behind you and gripping your ass.
you wince but press your hips back towards him, urging him to fill you up. “myeonie, please baby,” you plead. he presses the tip against your folds, dragging your arousal up the slit. you squeak out a moan, waiting for him to breach your hole. but he teases you like that for awhile, dragging his shaft in between your lips and dragging it across your clit, making you mewl out his name. “junmyeon, fuck, please just fuck me!” you beg, so frustrated with him that you could cry.
“baby wants to be fucked, but does my baby really deserve it?” he asks rhetorically, his hand sliding to your shoulder, resting on your collarbone.
“you’re so fucking an-“ you’re breathless when he slams into you and grips your neck tightly, yanking your head upwards. your vision blurs and your hands grip the sheets tightly, so tight that you feel like you might rip them.
“all that fucking mouth,” he grunts, slamming into you. you can’t think straight, can barely see straight or breathe, and it turns you on all the more. “all that fucking attitude—can’t say shit to me now, huh?” his hand comes down hard on your ass and you yelp, his hold on your neck loosening. he fucks into you relentlessly, the only sounds being heard are you cries and skin on skin.
your arms shake beneath your weight and you collapse onto the bed, face smooshing into the sheets once more. junmyeon let’s go of your beck to grab your arms and hold them behind your back. your back stays arched and he continues pounding into you, the feeling of his balls slapping against your ass rhythmically making your toes curl. “myeonie, myeonie, myeonie!” you chant, clenching around him.
“shit, y/n, i’m almost there,” he groans, letting go of your arms to hold onto your hips. they fall limply at your sides and you don’t make a move to prop yourself up. “you’re so good to me, baby.” his thrusts slow down and become more pointed, pulling all the way out before slamming right back in and knocking the air out of your lungs.
“j-junmy, i’m c-close,” you manage, pressing back to meet his thrusts. he chuckles as your attempt and stills your hips by holding you tighter. “fuck, baby, ri- fuck!” you can’t hold back your release, gushing all over his dick, your cum running down your legs.
junmyeon follows after you, your release triggering his own. he cums inside of you, filling you up. whatever cum drips out of you gets pushed back in and you writhe at the feeling of being full.
your husband pulls out of you to clean the both of you up, and your body chagrins without his support. junmyeon comes back with a towel and cleans you off, your sensitive body twitching at his touch. “honey, are you okay?” he asks sweetly, pushing your hair out of the way and kissing the back of your neck. when you make a noncommittal sound, he rubs your sore behind. “do you still love me?” he asks, kissing your shoulder.
at that, you open your eyes and lift your head. “always,” you reply, craning your neck for a kiss. you sigh when he places his lips on yours and kisses you sweetly, a 180 from the way he previously handled you.
“i’m sorry,” he mumbles against your mouth, supporting your jaw in his hand. “no more phone calls.” he adds and you smile against his lips. you wouldn’t mind if he took one more, as long as he winded up between your legs again.

Thinking of you | Junmyeon
Mafia!Junmyeon x Reader
Word count: 2826 Genre: fluff, angst. Author: maari Warnings: Post-breakup, mention of alcohol Note: I'm not used to writing with him, Sammy used to do that soooo my first story with Junmyeon that I post here 🙈 i got really carried away with this one Request: you could do a oneshot of junmyeon, where he is the mafia boss and in a club he meets his ex girlfriend, who broke up with him because she found out what he works for. they are suffering apart and want to be together! angst and fluffy ⫷ Exo Masterlist
Y/N looked at the dark landscape outside the car completely thoughtful. It had been like this in the last few weeks, she had relived the scene of her breakup countless times and tears always accompanied her.
Was it torture? Possibly.
But it still hurt her so much to remember that she no longer had his arms wrapped around her waist, or the way he always buried his face in her neck to smell the sweet perfume he loved for her to wear.
She swallowed the urge to cry once again, she had chosen to break up because it was the best thing to do in the situation she had found herself in.
She loved him so much, she didn't even know how it was possible to love someone that much, but she couldn't be with him. As much as she wanted to.
That night in particular she had promised her best friend that she would do everything she could to have a little fun and forget about the crack that had lodged itself in her heart since then, well either it was that or her friend would have dragged her by force to “live a little ”, in her friend’s words she should stop being so miserable.
Of course, not even her friends or family knew why she broke up with him, or else things would get worse.
But going to the club reminded her of all the nights she went out with him, especially the night they met. So even though she was fighting not to think about him, the memories came.
She took a deep breath as she got out of her friend's car, smiling lightly at her to assure her she was okay, or at least pretend like she was.
As soon as she entered the club, she felt an icy wind and a chill down her spine, she hugged her body and swallowed hard as she tried to shake off the clouds of memories that invaded her head.
She had barely arrived and she already knew it was a bad idea to go there.
She and her friend went to a high table that was empty, they talked a little while observing the place, Y/N's anxious eyes looked for a single person and her reason said that it would be better if he wasn't there.
As time went on, the music got slightly louder and the place got a little more crowded.
“Tae!” Y/N's friend called a boy with her hand, as soon as he turned and found her, he smiled widely.
"What are you doing here?" He asked as he approached her to hug her, he was accompanied by another boy. “This is Jinyoung, my friend.” he introduced and the boy extended his hand to shake both of them.
“This is Y/N, my best friend.”
Y/N smiled at the two of them and when she shook Jinyoung's hand her eyes stopped at his neck.
“Are you a soldier?” She asked, curious.
She recognized the ID necklace anywhere.
“Yes, army lieutenant.” He smiled, proudly.
"Really? My brother is a sergeant, but in the navy.” she explained and he smiled slightly at the answer.
“Y/N comes from a long line of soldiers.” Her best friend commented, smiling when she finally saw her talking.
“And you’re a soldier too?” Jinyoung asked, interested.
She laughed, shaking her head.
“No, I’m the only one who has a boring job.” She joked and got a laugh from the soldier.
Y/N had a lively conversation with Jinyoung, her best friend and Tae left them alone with the excuse of going dancing.
Jinyoung was pleasant to talk to and had a captivating smile, he didn't take his eyes off her and even though she was shy, she wasn't uncomfortable. Although her initial plan hadn't taken into account going out with a guy that night, she wasn't depriving herself of wanting to get to know him better.
But she had one small problem. The ex that wouldn't leave her sober mind.
That's why she decided to do what anyone in her position would do, drink until the image of her ex's eyes evaporated from her mind along with all the walls she had built around herself since the breakup.
She excused herself from Jinyoung, telling him that she would go to the bar and come back soon, he quickly patted her arm.
When she arrived, she looked at the drinks. She wasn't that big a fan of alcohol but she knew that the only way to forget about him was to do it.
“Double whiskey, please.” she asked the bartender who nodded before leaving to get her drink.
“Whiskey?” Y/N felt every hair on her body stand up and her legs trembled. “I always thought you preferred wine.”
She swallowed hard and the bartender returned, holding out the glass which Y/N quickly took, feeling her hands go cold.
Without any courage, she turned around and saw him standing next to her. She had to lock her jaw so a sigh wouldn't escape her lips.
He was still intoxicating.
His slightly wavy dark hair didn't fall entirely into his eyes, his face was hard and serious with his eyes fixed on her, he was wearing a white silk blouse with the first few buttons open that left a part of his chest exposed so that the necklace he wore sparkled. The necklace she had given him.
He wore a black vest and she couldn't resist continuing to analyze, her eyes went down to the black pants he wore and the expensive shoes.
It wasn't possible for a man to be as beautiful as him, it must be a crime.
Although he knew very well about crimes…
When her eyes returned to his face, he saw the slight smile that threatened to break.
“Not everything is what it seems.” She spoke quietly, unable to control how weak her voice sounded. “You know this better than me, Suho.”
She wasn't used to calling him by that name, he would always be Junmyeon to her.
Her Junmyeon.
But Suho was his battle name and since she discovered that, she used the name a few times just to speak to all the hurt she felt for having been betrayed.
Feeling the world around her spin in a spiral, she left without waiting for his response and returned to the table feeling watched.
Jinyoung greeted her with a smile and she did the same before downing the glass, drinking the whiskey in one gulp, making the poor boy next to her get a little scared.
The liquid ran down Y/N's throat but nothing was as strong and intense as Junmyeon's eyes staring at her from the other side of the club.
She didn't want to be the worst person in the world but she couldn't follow what Jinyoung said, she also didn't want to return Junmyeon's gaze but it was an impossible task.
Mainly because he divided the attention of his eyes between her and Jinyoung, as if he was reading what was happening between them.
During their relationship, he was never jealous because Y/N always assured him that her eyes were always on him, that no other boy would take her focus away from him.
But now they were no longer together and there was a slightly strong soldier beside her.
Yes, he had identified that he was a soldier before even noticing the identification necklace he wore.
People like him had training to recognize soldiers and police from miles away.
And when Y/N didn't look back, she lost the chance to see the fear in his eyes.
Y/N has always been a very correct woman, she was taught to be like that by her family, war heroes who had respect and principle.
And Junmyeon was the opposite of all that. He wasn't honorable and definitely not a hero, he was nothing that she really deserved it.
It was clear that after she had broken up with him, when she discovered the illicit work he did, he was afraid of losing her for good.
Not because his enemies could go after her, firstly, he would never let that happen, secondly, he had some of his men protecting her in secret to prevent that.
But because he knew she could find someone better than him easily, she just snapped her fingers and a line of men would form.
Because, after everything that had been said between them, he imagined that she would look for someone with the same principles as hers.
Someone very different from him.
And well, a soldier was exactly what he imagined she would find.
He just didn't think it would be so difficult to see her around a man other than him.
But Junmyeon didn't even know what was going on in her head, even though she was looking at Jinyoung attentively, she wasn't listening to a word he was saying.
What was happening inside her was a real battle.
She knew it was wrong and dangerous, but seeing him there only concluded what her heart already knew, she was still crazy about him.
Even if his work or business, she still didn't know how to say it, went against everything she believed in, it was impossible for her feelings not to speak louder.
Jinyoung was a correct and honest man, from what little they talked she concluded that, she only had one problem: he was not Junmyeon.
Even though he was just as handsome, knowing that her ex was there watching her nullified any less friendly thoughts she might have had with Jinyoung.
Y/N felt her head spinning, there were many reasons, and the alcohol she had spilled wasn’t the only one. In fact, she had only made her situation worse because she had been drinking to forget her ex-boyfriend and here she was, remembering him more vividly.
“Y/N is everything okay?” Jinyoung asked, worried, seeing her face suddenly turn white.
She took a deep breath, nodding.
“Yeah, I just…” she looked at the bar where he was, Junmyeon didn’t even blink when he looked at her. Even from afar she felt how intense his eyes still were. “I need some air.” she confirmed, looking away from Jinyoung.
“Do you need me to…” he let the sentence die in the air and she smiled slightly
She brought her hand to his arm and gently stroked it.
“It’s okay, I just need 5 minutes alone.”
He nodded, placing his hand over hers, understanding what she was saying.
Y/N left feeling the air running out of her lungs as if she had run a marathon and when she finally found the exit of the club, she closed her eyes feeling the first tear run down her face.
She had promised herself that she would try to be strong, she even tried to convince herself that she didn't feel what she felt for Junmyeon - a failed attempt to forget him - but she didn't count on finding him there.
In fact, she didn't even imagine one day meeting him again. After the harsh words she used, she thought he would never talk to her again.
Y/N looked for a corner to sit down, hugging her legs to cry in silence.
It hurt her to be away from him, more than she had imagined. But it hurt even more to be so close and at the same time so far away from him.
She was so wrapped up in her own pain that she didn't notice when he crouched down beside her.
"Don't cry, please." he pleaded and she sobbed. “You know I can’t stand it.”
Y/N lifted her head with her face soaked, looking to the side and seeing him grimacing in pain.
She kept her eyes fixed on him as Junmyeon raised his hand to dry her face with his fingertips, making Y/N close her eyes at the gentle touch.
She had missed that. Much more than she should have.
"I can't."
"What?" He caressed her face for a longer time, making her open her eyes.
“I can’t look at you and forget everything I know.” she admitted, hurt.
Junmyeon gave in, fingers retracting to cease the caress.
Y/N sighed and stood up, pushing him away completely. Ready to get out of there, she just didn't expect him to step in front of her, stopping her from going.
“I'm still the same.”
She laughed in disbelief and tried to pass, but he held her arm without hurting her and brought her closer so she could look into his eyes.
“I’m still who I’ve always been with you.”
Y/N felt her breathing became labored for two reasons, he was too close that she could feel his breath against her face, and because his eyes didn't lie.
And that disconcerted her, broke all the arguments she could have and that she had rehearsed in her head.
“You have a side that I never imagined and that I don’t agree with!” She tried to speak a little more firmly, her rational side was being drowned out by her heart at that moment.
She was finally where she wanted, in his arms.
“This is just business, Y/N.”
"Business?" she asked, frowning. “A mafia is not a business, Junmyeon, it is a sect. One from which you will never be free because you’re the boss.”
"You’re right!" he agreed, seriously. “But look into my eyes.”
She looked away, shaking her head. That was why one of his hands released her arm and went to her chin, making her look at him.
“Look into my eyes and say you don’t see how much I love you.” he begged and she was silent. “If you say that you don't see how much I need you then that's fine, I'll let you go into the arms of a guy who has the same principles, who is your hero.”
Y/N felt her eyes water.
He was her hero long before she found out where his money came from.
"I cant do it." She spoke quietly, shrugging her shoulders.
"And why not?"
“Because I would be denying the whole truth, including that my love for you also exists.”
The corners of his lips threatened to lift into a sad yet happy smile, all he needed to hear was how much she still loved him, the rest they could take care of later.
He could find a way out as long as he was with her.
Without having anything to say, Junmyeon put his hand on the back of her head, making her goosebumps rise from head to toe, she knew what was coming and didn't stop it.
He brought his face closer to her, without taking his eyes off her because he wanted to make sure she wanted it so much as him and when he didn't see any sign to the contrary, he sealed their lips.
Y/N sighed, resting her hands on his chest as she closed her eyes at the feeling of his warm lips once again against hers.
Junmyeon's hand went down her arms to her waist, hugging her with a certain desperation as he moved his lips slowly, as if he was discovering her again.
Junmyeon tilted his head to the side as he opened his mouth to deepen the kiss, all Y/N could do was grab the vest he was wearing tightly as their tongues met, eager for the sensual dance they were in accustomed.
Y/N's entire body seemed to light up, she felt so warm and so alive, it was as if she had awakened from a deep, cold sleep.
Their kiss became more desperate, causing him to press her against any surface he could find in the dark, which ended up being the club wall itself.
Completely panting, they separate, he even takes her lips in one last kiss before touching their foreheads.
“I've been thinking about you every second.” he spoke quietly and Y/N kept her eyes closed, her legs still wobbly. “I can’t live without you, Y/N.”
She smiled sideways, put her hands on his shoulders and then opened her eyes, looked at his red and swollen lips before moving up to his eyes, Junmyeon looked at her with a sparkle in his eyes.
“I could be making the biggest mistake of my life.” She sighed, reaching up to caress his face when she saw him frown. “But if I had to choose you a thousand times, I would.”
He smiled restrainedly.
“It was always you, Junmyeon. Always."
“You’re my eternal love,” he said firmly. “And you always will be.”
She smiled before pulling his face for another kiss that wouldn't be the last that night.
Was it wrong? Maybe, but everything she believed in didn't make any difference when she was with him or thinking about him.

Today’s the day. The day that every parent dreads, from the moment their kid turns that special age. The day their precious little bean goes to big-kid school. Suho wishes it would never come. Alas, he can’t just stop his boys from growing up, so he’s gotta suck it up, your words.
The day his twin boys, Daesik and Dalyun turned five, he knew their first day of first grade was nearing close. Every time he would go to the grocery store there would be displays screaming, “Get ready to go back to school!” at him. He would glare at the happy children on the displays, his mind going back to the reminder that Daesik and Dalyun needed to get their school supplies before it was too late.
It was almost too late when the twins got their school supplies. [Name] had told Junmyeon at least thirty times a day that he needed to look over the supplies list and take the boys to the store so they can pick out what kind of supplies they want.
[Name] sits Junmyeon down after dinner one night, staring down at his husband with a scowl. The twins were in bed, and [Name] tucked them in after a bedtime story. Junmyeon wishes the couch would swallow him up and turn into a stale fry that’s been tucked between the cushions for months now. [Name] gives the male a look that tells Junmyeon to start explaining why the hell their boys’ first day of school is in two days and they still do not have any supplies.
“I can explain, love,” Junmyeon starts, shrinking deeper into the couch as [Name]’s piercing pools of [EC] narrow at him. If looks could kill, [Name] would be wanted for the murder of his husband. “I meant to take them a week ago.”
“And you didn’t, why?” [Name]’s voice is sharp, and the man isn’t even yelling. He’s talking normally but his tone tells Junmyeon that [Name] is angry.
“It’s a funny story, really,” Junmyeon chuckles nervously, but [Name] isn’t laughing, which is a bad sign. His husband doesn’t get angry often, but when he does, you might want to watch out.
“Junmyeon, does it look like I’m in the mood for a funny story? I want an explanation, and I want one now.”
Junmyeon breaks, finally, tears forming at the corners of his eyes, “Fine! I confess, damn it! I didn’t take them because I don’t want them to go to school!” Junmyeon covers his face with his hands, letting the tears fall freely.
[Name]’s body and face soften at his husband's confession. Now that Junmyeon told him the truth, [Name]’s chest rumbles with light chuckles. [Name] takes a seat next to Junmyeon and he tugs his sulking husband close to his body.
“Junnie, look at me,” [Name] says, lightly shaking his husband's slightly bigger body, “I’m not mad anymore now that you actually explained what was going on. It’s not like you to stall until the last minute.”
“I know, love. I’m really sorry, but the thought of my precious little beans growing up scares me to no end.” Junmyeon says, allowing [Name] to wipe the salty tears from his cheeks.
“I understand, but this is something we have to do. You want them to get a proper education so they can be successful, don’t you?” [Name] asks softly, his slim fingers pushing Junmyeon’s wild baby hairs away from his face.
“Of course I do, I want them to grow up and be happy. But I also want them to stay little forever.” Junmyeon sniffles, looking at his husband with the cutest pout on his handsome face.
“I don’t want them to grow up either, but it’s just part of life, darling,” [Name] says, chuckling softly at his pouty husband, “They’re only five right now, Junnie. They have lots of growing to do.”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right. I just love them so much.” Junmyeon sighs, his chest clenching with heavy amounts of love for his twins.
“They love you too, trust me. They keep asking me when Daddy is going to take them shopping for school supplies. Dalyun is hoping to find a Bluey backpack.” [Name] laughs, Junmyeon joining in.
“I’ll take them tomorrow, promise. Will you be joining us, love?” Junmyeon asks, his hand slipping into [Name]’s and bringing it to his lips, placing a gentle kiss on top of his hand.
“Sure, I’ll go. It takes two to parent those two little monsters.” [Name] says with a cheeky smile.
“How dare you call my little beans monsters! They’re little angels!” Junmyeon gasps, offended. [Name] just laughs some more and stands up.
“Sure, sure. Let’s get ready for bed. We have a few busy days ahead of us.”
“Yes, we do. I may not be prepared, but I’m happy.”
“That’s all that matters, dear.”

“We’re best friends,we love each other completely”
The sun was disappearing behind the buildings of a cold Seoul. It was December:the month of presents and Christmas trees, but also of snow and fever;that was why, after studying all day with your best friend,Junmyeon, you had decided to cook pizza to warm yourselves up;and, since it had been snowing for days, you also proposed him to sleep on your couch that night.
After accepting your offer,Junmyeon sat next to you, welcoming your legs on his lap while scrolling through his phone.
“Aren’t you cold?” he asked, his fingers stroking the soft skin of your ankles:the only things protecting you from the low temperatures were an oversized sweater and a pair of white socks, but you were more than okay with that, your house was a warm place.
“I’m used to it,and it’s not cold in here” you replied
Junmyeon nodded, putting his phone on the table in front of you
“Anything we can do to pass the time while we wait for our dinner to be ready?” he then asked.
You started thinking, giving a glance to the ceiling
“I’ve got Monopoly,Cluedo,Uno…” you counted the games with your fingers, stopping any now and then to think about what you had in the house.
In the meantime,Junmyeon was staring at you, still stroking his fingers along your legs, going as high as he could
“Stop” you giggled. He was tickling you.
“Why would I?”
“I don’t like being tickled,you know”
“That’s why I’m not stopping” he moved his body weight in order to top you. His hands slipped along your legs, sliding under your sweater,up to your tummy
“Stop! I said stop!” you were laughing in front of a satisfied Junmyeon who knew he was playing with your weak spot.
You grabbed his shoulders, trying to push him away, but you achieved the opposite as you dragged him closer.
Suddenly the laughters stopped.
Junmyeon looked into your eyes, licking his lips. His breath was warming up the skin of your cheeks while the delicate smell of his fresh clean clothes filled your nostrils. How much you liked it. You didn’t remember the last time you were that close;maybe it happened only once,in high school, when, without even knowing why,the two of you ended up kissing in the backyard of the school. It was your first kiss…and also the best you had ever received.
“I’ve got something better in mind than Monopoly” the boy whispered with his usual silky voice.
“W-what is it?” your breath was stuck in your throat. The distance between your lips got shorter, until they touched.
Junmyeon’s thumb found his place on your chin and tilted your had on the side. The kiss was tender,as tender as Junmyeon himself had always been. It seemed like he had no rudeness in his body.
“Junmyeon-you mumbled his name in the kiss as he distanced himself of a few inches to let you speak-we’re supposed to be best friends…”
“We are. We’re best friends,we love each other completely” he talked, sliding his hand underneath your sweater to satisfy his need of skinship.
At those words you bit your lips, with your breath getting heavier. You immediately understood what he had in his mind, but it had been a while since you had sex, which made you feel unconfident, that was why you were reluctant in fucking with someone you knew so well. You were scared of being judged. However,on the other hand, you couldn’t deny that your whole self was screaming its attraction to the boy:your lower body tingled as soon as your skins touched and a not unusual need of feeling him close had risen inside you.
“Everything will be fine,I promise you” Junmyeon whispered into your hear, kissing the side of your chin before reaching your neck. You instinctively moved your head aside to give him access, thinking about how easy it was for him to read you. You were an open book to him, which was incredible considering you had never been someone whose feelings were easy to understand.
The boy’s lips started sucking on your skin, drawing purple marks everywhere. Behind your hear, under your chin;he even lowered the neck of your sweater to leave hickeys on your collarbone . He was the painter while you were his canvas, and you liked it,damn if you liked it.
Your hand interwove in his hair. Eyes shut as you were enjoying his fingers wandering all over your body. He started drawing lines on your skin, going up,until he touched your breasts. A whine of yours filled the air.
“You like it,angel?” he demanded, looking at you from under his lashes. You nodded:flushed cheeks and a slightly open mouth were already adorning Junmyeon’s painting,it didn’t matter if he was just at the beginning.
“You look so pretty when we cross our lines. I wish I could do this more often” he said, lifting your sweater up to kiss the skin above your white pants. Another moan escaped your mouth.
“Take this off for me,you don’t need it” he said, and with that you were now naked under a needy Junmyeon. Embarrassed, you blushed and tried to cover yourself, but the brunette shook his head and moved your arms aside.
“There’s no need to hide:you’re so beautiful. I wanna se everything” he gently kissed your lips, while his hands found their way to your breasts, touching your soft flesh. The contact of his skin with yours seemed unreal and perfect, how much you liked him.
“F-fuck-you panted,throwing your head back-I-need you Myeon”
“I need you too sweetheart-he grabbed your hand, squeezing it in his palm before letting you touch the buldge in his gym trousers-look what you’ve done to me”
“Ohw” that was everything you were able to say. Junmyeon was slowly and gently driving you to the edge. It was so much in character for him:he had never been bossy,he spent his entire life leading people with calm and knowledge.
“I’ll do it for you” you talked in a breath of sound, stroking your fingers against the cloth of his trousers, but Junmyeon shook his head, blocking your hands above your had.
“No angel,I didn’t tell you so. Be a good girl”
“I’m-I’m sorry-“ you tried to talk, but you got interrupted by his free hand sliding in between your legs.
“You’re so soft” he whispered, caressing your entrace. You squeezed your thighs around his wrist, trying to find some relief as your lower body was tingling like crazy. You also tried to free your hands, but his grip was too tight.
“Don’t make me mad, princess” he whispered, glancing at your fingers
“I’m s-sorry…I just…Myeon-“ your voice was low, small as you made eye-contact,noticing how eagerly and sweetly he was looking at you. There was something with him in that moment, something that you couldn’t understand but that made you believe that no man in the world was as beautiful as Kim Junmyeon was.
“What is it angel, you don’t like it?” he kept moving the palm of his hand up and down, along the cloth of your pants. You shivered as your chest became heavier and your breath shorter. Saying that you had never touched yourself without thinking about him doing that for you would’ve been a lie, because you did, unwillingly maybe, but you surely did many times.
“No…I like it. I think I like it too much,Myeon. Please I-“
“Don’t be impatient-he interrupted you, moving your slip aside as he started stroking your clit-good girls are always rewarded”.
Your mouth widened as he started drawing circles with his index. You threw your head back, shutting your eyes. Your body was slowly getting filled by pleasure. You weren’t used to that feeling anymore.
“I know what you’re looking for, princess” he whispered to your hear. His butter voice embraced you, rising your body temperature so much that you felt like melting. You whined, then the boy slid his fingers inside you.
“Myeon-“ you could barely talk as his index hit the right spot, the one which sent you on cloud nine. He was so great at making you feel good.
“We’re almost there babygirl,do it for me” he murmured as you were getting wetter and wetter, until you reached your release.
Junmyeon looked at you from above,a smirk appeared on his lips as he licked his index:
“You’re so tasty princess. Shall we carry on?”
You were panting so much that you couldn’t answer, you just bit your lips and stared at the boy with your big needy eyes that spoke for you. Junmyeon’s hand grabbed your chin as his thumb caressed your pinky lips;he then took his shirt and your pants off, spreading your legs to eat you.
“Myeon-” a loud moan escaped your mouth as his tongue started playing with your clit. His fingers deep dug in the flesh of your thighs while yours interwove in his brown hair. He seemed scared of losing you,as if you would’ve ran away and left, but you would’ve never been able to do such a thing, not with him pleasing you so well.
You were a mess of whines and moans while begging the boy do to more:you wanted everything he could give you.
Junmyeon’s head rose as he licked his lips, getting on top of you once again.
“You’re everything I’ve ever wanted-he whispered, taking off his trousers-but now you have something to do for me. Will you, beautiful angel?”
“I will do anything…-you panted-anything you ask me,Myeon”
“Good girl-he grabbed your chin-from now on I want you to look at me. Will you do that, sweetheart?”
“I-I will”
“That’s what I wanted to hear-he kissed your lips-you’ll like it,I promise”
Junmyeon held you by the hips. His hands perfectly fitting your waist, making you believe that no one else in the world should’ve taken his place on that couch, nor on your bed.
“Are you ready, angel?” he asked in a whisper;you nodded, and with that he finally slid inside you.
“Oh my God..” you whined, staring in his beautiful chocolate eyes. You could see the lust in his dilated pupils while he thrusted inside you. His pace was slow, precise, and gentle. He went deep, hitting the right spot.
You held onto his well built shoulders, scratching them a few times while breathing faster and faster.
“Tell me you belong to me sweetheart” the boy talked, his eyes still chained to yours
“I-I do Junmyeon. I-I belong to you and no one else”
At those words shivers of pleasure went along his spine, making his movements sloppier. You knew he was close, and so were you.
He gave a few more thrusts, they were rough this time, but you liked them:they took your breath away.
“I don’t-I don’t wanna hurt you…” he murmured,without breaking eye-contact
“But-I-I really like it…” you replied, feeling Junmyeon’s grip tighten on your body before a loud moan escaped his mouth, preceding his release
“Fuck…-he whined as his seed filled you. He couldn’t hold on if you talked to him like that, with the soft needy voice of yours that made his head spin-now-he stuttered still on his orgasm -now one more time angel, come one more time for me…”
“Oh my God…” you moaned out loud, following him with your climax. The idea of you being his and him being yours, only yours, was your biggest weakness, but you had realised it only on the spot.
The two of you started at each other for a few more seconds before you moved your body aside, letting Junmyeon lay down next to you.
His chest was moving up and down, fast,as he was trying to catch his breath. His forehead was sweaty and his hair were messy, but you swore he was ethereal.
With a gentle shift of his body,Junmyeon stretched one of his arms out so you could rest your head on his shoulder. You did so,wrapping yours around his waist while a hand of his rested on your back, caressing your skin.
Junmyeon looked at you, there still was a hint of lust in his eyes:
“How much I wanted this…” he whispered in your hear, making your heart skip a bit
“Have you?” you asked,in a breath of sound
He gently grabbed your face, making eye-contact
“You’re all I dream about” he talked, placing a kiss on top of your head before hearing the timer for your pizza go off in the kitchen.

junmyeon x f!reader
a/n pardon me i havent wrote anything in like a month (been updating on my wp and havent been active here) so i apologize if my writing is shitty 😭
you hadn't seen junmyeon in a while. it was normal. because, well — you weren't exactly close to him. though, your heart still stupidly aches whenever you thought of him. and the cause came from your small crush towards him. not exactly small.
even as you say that, junmyeon doesn't think of you just as friend. he considered you to be one of his closest friend. and he's been missing you dearly. and it definitely wasn't because of his not exactly small crush on you.
so when the two of you had an encounter in front of the groceries store, he didn't waste even a single second to browse the store with you.
with a basket in both of his hands — one yours and the other, his, junmyeon walked behind you while still keeping a close distant. he likes this distant. you looking at your list of things to buy quite frequently while he just enjoyed looking at your expressions. he completely forgot about the groceries that he needed to do — the one that his roommate had clearly reminded him to not forget about.
"junmyeon, do you think i should buy this?" he quickly snapped out of his stupor and looked at you as he fumbled with his words. "oh- yeah! definitely," he smiled. junmyeon doesn't even know what you wanted to buy. for all he cares, you were smiling and that's enough.
after paying for everything — which includes your stuff, he walks you back to your apartment until you were right in front of your doorstep. "we should do this again sometime," the male suggested. "we should," you offered him a shy smile. "i- uhh... well, i'll go inside now," you gave him an awkward smile and take one of the plastic bag from his hand.
the moment you were out of sight, he was smiling to himself and celebrating with a silent scream while punching the air in excitement. he felt like he was in daze. he didn't even realize it when he arrives at his own apartment. "hyung, didn't you buy my snacks?" the younger male pouted as he looks at his empty hand.
looks like he had to do another round of grocery shopping.
.
junmyeon had to double take when he sees you hanging out with sehun. why were you laughing that hard? why is his arm around your shoulder? or the fact that you were hanging out with him in the first place?
of course you would. you were close to him. to his roommate — sehun.
his heart aches ever so slightly everytime you laughed at the words sehun said. junmyeon knew well enough that the younger man was quite funny without even trying to. even when he tried his hardest, he knew that he could never be as funny as sehun. or just as attractive.
"oh, hey," you gave him an awkward wave, accompanied by your shy smile. you wonder how you looked in his eyes right now. do you look weird? does he think that you were being weird? should you have just kept quiet instead?
the male was slightly surprised when you paid attention to him first. he gave you a polite smile and nodded, his heart fluttering at your cute smile.
"hyung, we were just talking about you," sehun gave him a mischievous smile. no, he didn't talk about junmyeon. as usual, the younger male simply likes to tease the older male.
"we thought it would be funny if you were to do a cartwheel in front of many people," sehun smiled childishly. the older male only let out a scoffed, an amused yet embarrassed smile plastering his lips.
he could see you laughing softly to yourself when sehun made the joke. he likes it. the sound of your laughter. but at the same time, he hates it. he wasn't the source of your laughter. sehun was the one who made you laugh. he didn't.
"i uhh... i'll go to my room," junmyeon offered you a polite smile before retreating to his room.
.
you had thought to yourself that, the past few months had been going great with junmyeon. he's been flirting in his own awkward way. but somehow, he had been ghosting you for a few days now.
after that little grocery date you had with junmyeon, the two of you started talking more, hanging out more.
so when you waved at him but he decided to ignore you and walk the other way, you felt a stab in your heart. you weren't about to let him get away with this. your feet was quick to ran after him. this felt like a drama where all the confessions would take in place.
"junmyeon," you panted slightly, your hand gripped the sleeve of his shirt. from the look of it, he had just got his hair done. he wanted to pull away. but he doesn't have it in his heart to do that to you. to do that to the girl he likes to the point it was driving him crazy.
"why... didn't you answer to any of my texts? i was worried..." he was still facing the other way, but you could feel his body stiffening. "was busy with work," he answered and there was a slight tremble in his voice. you loosened your grip on his sleeve and nodded, accepting his answer. "then why did you look away when i waved at you? or- or why did you walk the other way? did i do something wrong? did you not want to be friends with me anymore?"
you want an answer out of him.
you didn't even notice it but you were crying. oh, you don't just like him, you were starting to fall for him. "i-i'm sorry if i did anything wrong-"
your words were stopped when he gripped both of your shoulders and pulled you in for a kiss. it was rough and full of emotion. it was as if he was pouring every feelings into the kiss. one of his hand soon moved to cup your cheek, wiping the tears away while the other finds it's place on your hip. when he finally pulled away, you could see his cheeks were also wet. he had been crying too.
his hands desperately move to wipe your cheeks without minding his own dishevel look. "i'm sorry," he whispered softly. "i kissed you without your permission," he lowered his gaze in embarrassment. "i... i liked you too much. no — i was starting to fall for you," his cheeks flushed slightly. "and i was scared that it was going to hurt me,"
"i couldn't hear you talking like that about yourself so i kissed you without thinking," he mutters. "i understand if you want to stop being friends with me-" you immediately covered his mouth with your hands and shook your head. "no, i- i really like you. i- i like you, too," your face flushed slightly.
his hand gently came up to remove yours from his mouth. "really?" junmyeon could hardly believe what he was hearing. you nodded, confirming his disbelief. he pulled you in for a hug. tightly. his face buried in your neck, breathing in your scent as if to confirm that this was real. he got you. the kindest, prettiest girl in his eyes.

Notes: LET’S GO Y’ALL!!!!!! Also, for the story, I've always been a ho for the SM Town family lore as long as I’ve been a Kpop fan, so don't be surprised if that comes back sometime this month...
There was no party like an SM town party. Not the ones sanctioned by the company, of course, but the unofficial ones the artists threw themselves. To their knowledge, the company had no idea about these parties, and only trusted managers were made aware that they were even happening. Every month, a different group was tasked with setting up the event. Sometimes they were super themed, super fancy affairs. Others, they were meet ups at one of the dorms, casual and low key. Most often they were somewhere in the middle, glorified hangouts at bars within the radius of all of the groups’ dorms.
This month was Girls’ Generation’s pick, and Taeyeon had taken them to a bar that was only a short walk from EXO’s dorm specifically. Which ended up being a blessing in disguise when Junmyeon’s conversation with Jinki and Minho was interrupted when Chanyeol ran over, calling the leader’s name.
“Hyung, can you go check on Kyungsoo? He ran off just now, and he didn’t look too hot,” Chanyeol declared, breathing heavily. He grabbed the older man’s shoulder for emphasis. “And I really don’t think he’d want to see me right now.”
Junmyeon cocked his head to the side, fighting a smile.“And he’d want to see me?” he asked.
Chanyeol shrugged. “Well, maybe. I’ve just been told to ‘get my drunk ass out of his sight’ several times, and I don’t really need another.”
Junmyeon nodded, looking to his friends. Jinki dipped his head with an understanding smile, and Minho waved him onwward. With a quick smile of his own, Junmyeon offered both men a quick salute before speeding through the crowd as fast as he could, which was surprisingly easier than he’d been expecting. He’d made it to the wall in a matter of seconds, and followed it until he came across the doors to the restroom. Junmyeon pushed through the door with his shoulder, taking a deep breath to calm the worry growing in his stomach.
“Kyungsoo?” he asked, voice ringing slightly in the small, tiled room. The sound of a toilet flushing sounded in response. “Kyungsoo?!”
“Here.” A pale hand stuck out from beneath the door of the second stall. Junmyeon hurried over, pulling back the door just as he heard the lock click open. Kyungsoo was sitting on the floor… well, sitting was a very liberal term. He was actually slumped against the stall wall, knees bent up to keep him steady. His face was ten shades paler than normal, tinted slightly green. The hand resting on his stomach was shaking. The eyes that met Junmyeon’s were tired, a lackluster brown instead of the bright hazel they usually were.
“Gee, how many drinks did Yeollie trick you into tonight?” Junmyeon joked automatically, a smile pulling at his lips.
“I didn’t even drink, I swear,” Kyungsoo moaned, rubbing at his eyes with both hands. He moaned again. “Not even water…” Junmyeon’s eyebrows wrinkled with sympathy as he knelt down next to the younger man and pressed a hand to his forehead. The skin was both hot and clammy to the touch.
Junmyeon clicked his tongue, rubbing Kyungsoo’s shoulder sympathetically. “Come on. We should get you home. You think your stomach can handle a ten minute walk?” Kyungsoo nodded, taking a deep breath before holding out his hands. Junmyeon clasped his hands around his dongsaeng’s and helped pull the other boy to his feet, wrapping an arm around Kyungsoo’s shaking shoulders to stop the swaying. “Come on,” he encouraged gently, helping walk him out of the stall.
“Wait,” Kyungsoo said, pulling away from Junmyeon’s grip. The older man froze, expecting him to be sick again. Instead, Kyungsoo stumbled to the skin. “Gotta wash my hands. These floors are disgusting.”
Junmyeon chuckled lightly, watching Kyungsoo closely as he washed the dirt from his hands. The leader offered his elbow when he was finished, earning him a look of confusion. “You’re swaying.” Kyungsoo simply nodded and wrapped his arm through Junmyeon’s, allowing the taller boy to lead him.
Junmyeon pushed open the bathroom door, nearly hitting Chanyeol in the face.
“Whoa! Hey! We were just coming to make sure everything was okay!” the rapper exclaimed quickly, tipping back on his heels as Junmyeon automatically apologized for almost hitting him with the door. Chanyeol’s eyes found their linked arms. “And it looks to me like everything’s fine. Maybe even more than fine?”
Junmyeon’s cheeks lit up like a Christmas tree, but his mothering instincts were able to suppress his embarrassment. And both Jinki and Minho were right behind Chanyeol, and looked about ready to jump in lest he say anything more. “Don’t worry. Things are just fine,” Junmyeon said as simply as possible. “We’re just gonna head home a little early though. Kyungsoo’s not feeling too great.”
“Aw, dude, that sucks,” Minho sighed sympathetically. “Did this one trick you into one too many again?” He slapped a hand around Chanyeol’s shoulders as the other man whined in protest.
“No,” Kyungsoo moaned pitifully, his grip on Junmyeon’s arm tightening. His shoulders began to cave like a child trying not to hide behind his mom.
“No, he’s actually sick,” Junmyeon spoke up, patting Kyungsoo’s hand reassuringly. Even Chanyeol’s face fell at that. “So we’re going to go home and watch a movie or something.” A tiny smile peaked on Kyungsoo’s lips, and Junmyeon inwardly high fived himself.
“That sounds like the best course of action,” Minho nodded approvingly.
“Do you need any help getting home?” Jinki asked. “I’d be happy to walk back with you.”
“Thank you, but we should be fine,” Junmyeon answered with a confident smile. “He seems steady enough and it’s only two blocks. I’ll text you as soon as we get home?” Jinki nodded, sticking with them until they’d reached the door, and making Junmyeon promise to text him a second time.
~
Getting home had been surprisingly easy. The crisp night air had put Kyungsoo at ease, allowing him to forget how awful he felt for a brief moment. The two had walked together, mostly silently, joking every now and then about things they’d seen at the party. Junmyeon had hope that maybe, just maybe, this was just a fluke and Kyungsoo would be just fine.
He was, of course, proven wrong as soon as they walked in the door, and the younger man sprinted towards the bathroom, the greenish look returning to his face.
Junmyeon had decided to give him his space, setting about preparing Kyungsoo’s room in case he had to be carried back. When Junmyeon finally returned to the bathroom, he found find Kyungsoo lying on the floor like a starfish. “Kyungsoo?”
“Hm?”
“What ch’a doing?”
“This feels nice,” Kyungsoo replied, words slightly slurred from the fact that his cheek was plastered to the floor.
The leader settled against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest. It took a lot for him to not burst out laughing. Kyungsoo was the LEAST likely of any of his members to willingly lay on a bathroom floor. Yet here they were. “We haven’t cleaned that floor in weeks,” Junmyeon commented, making a mental note to put that on the to do list for tomorrow.
“That’s okay,” Kyungsoo said in response. “It’s just our germs. And I’ve already got those so...” Junmyeon rolled his eyes.
“How’re you feeling?”
“Not bad, but not good either.”
“Think you’re gonna get sick again?”
“I don’t think so, but that’s really not up to me.”
Junmyeon fought back another eye roll. “You want to go to bed, then?”
“Can’t I just stay here?”
“No. Sick people need to sleep in a proper bed,” Junmyeon insisted, moving into the small room and, careful as can be, stooped down to pull Kyungsoo into a sitting position. The shorter man didn’t protest, but was dead weight in Junmyeon’s hands, slumping against his shoulder once the leader had got him up. “Think you can walk?”
“Well, it would be embarrassing if you carried me,” Kyungsoo said plainly. He didn’t move away from Junmyeon’s shoulder, though.
“Why?” Junmyeon asked with an amused smile.
“Cause I’m not a princess,” Kyungsoo said as if it were obvious. “We had the archetype talk the other day. We decided that I’m the villain, not the princess. Baekhyun’s our princess. I don’t want you to treat me like a princess when I’m a villain.”
Junmyeon had to bite his lip to keep from laughing. “Oh, I’m sorry for even vaguely suggesting such a thing. I’m just thoroughly curious if you have the strength to walk to your bedroom.”
“Yeah, I should be good,” Kyungsoo nodded, this time pulling away from Junmyeon and running a hand over his eyes. “Dear god, my head hurts.”
“That’d be the flu, my friend,” Junmyeon replied, spotting Kyungsoo as he pulled himself up onto shaking legs. “Can you walk?”
“I got this.” Kyungsoo was able to walk about halfway down the hallway before he stopped stock still. Junmyeon rushed slightly closer, eyes quickly scanning for the reason the younger man had stopped. He nearly jumped out of his skin when Kyungsoo’s head slumped against his shoulder. “Soo? You with me?”
“Hm?”
“How’re you doing?”
“I’m tired,” the younger man replied, not moving his head.
“I can tell,” Junmyeon laughed, readjusting his arm to better support his member’s leaning. “We’re so close to bed, though. Come on, I’ll help you the rest of the way.”
“Sure.”
Junmyeon bit his lip as he half led, half dragged Kyungsoo the rest of the way to his bed, forced him none too gently into clean pajamas, and helped him settle under the covers. Based on tonight, this was going to be a long week.
