oh, junko's still human here.

then i suppose she really can default to a certain extent; it doesn't really.... it's not really the same when a toon-turned-human defaults as when a toon defaults. it's a fundamentally toon thing, so when a toon tries to default while they're human, it doesn't really...have the same effect.

i mean, jess was able to semi-default, but it's not....

it's not the same, and i don't know how to words that it's not the same, but it's not the same.

the way jess initially was forced awake from default is how toons of her type are always forcibly woken, but if i remember correctly from her other forms of default - and being woken from default - that's not how she needed to be woken the other times.

so if human!junko did default, then she wouldn't necessarily need to be woken up the same way that she would initially have been woken up, and she wouldn't so completely default as she would as a toon.

but the littlest therapist alana bloom would still not suggest she default at all ever.

So, as a result of that 'marrying your background' meme, I might be starting the Junko in therapy fic sooner than I planned.

Yes, it's Toon!Junko, and she's a different animal, but Default!Junko is also there, and that'll....

Well, I don't know.

Defaulting is a particularly BAD thing for Toons to do, and it would be WORSE for Junko specifically because of you know. -gestures-

And I'm not sure what the process of breaking a villain-based Toon out of Default would even look like.

Also I don't think Alana would suggest Junko Default as a form of therapy because that would....

Defaulting has a very specific definition in relation to Toons, and I don't think any therapist would suggest what it means EVER so like.

The impulse to just skip all of the Toon worldbuilding and extrapolation that would happen in Jess Agatha Fic just so I can throw Junko into therapy with Alana.

It wouldn't be the same as throwing Junko in therapy because Toon!Junko and canon!Junko are different.

But I think it can be understood that Toon!Junko was complicit in causing her own minor Tragedy (her own minor revolution, although it cannot truly be said to be hers. This time, she got used up. Isn't that funny? She'd laugh herself to death if she could, but she never got that easy out, and once human, that became an impossibility).

...that's a good line, actually. I should use that in the fic.
