Daehyun and someone wearing his sweater/sweatshirt please!
do you really have to make me feel this attacked?? This is so cute I can’t >.
He’d finally caught you.
Tip-toeing closer towards the door, he opened it a little further, a mischievous smile spreading across his lips as he watched you just casually sitting legs-crossed on the bed, browsing on your phone. Wearing something he knew you wore every now and then, but something you wouldn’t admit to wearing for some reason.
“Comfortable?”
Your first initial reaction was to squeak with all your might, the second thing you did being preventing yourself from falling out of bed out of surprise. A chuckle escaped him as he stood in the doorway and watched your struggle, crossing his arms over his chest and simply enjoying the view. The surprise in your face, the blush creeping across your cheeks… That damn sweater of his on you, and the way it looked like the most adorable tent he’d seen and at the same time looked like it had always belonged there like that. He never understood what exactly was so appealing about seeing you in his clothes, all he knew was that he liked the sight a lot. And it was something he could successfully tease you about, which was always a bonus.
“Still has my scent on it, eh?”
You wanted to roll your eyes at him so bad, but couldn’t deny that yes, the sweater definitely had it’s fair share of Daehyun still attached to it, and yes, it made you comfortable, yes, it made you feel better. You glanced back at him and at the a little too cocky and over-confident look in his eyes. You were aware that he too knew he was right, but you couldn’t let that go to his head. And wouldn’t let him off without shaming him either.
“And I look so damn adorable in it that you can’t tear your eyes off of me, eh?”
Damn right.
“Guess we each have our own benefits in this situation,” he rose a brow, effortlessly sliding in through the half-open door and making his way to you, “The question is, whose benefits are better?”
“Daehyun-ah,” you furrowed your brows in annoyance and whined, but it was too late. In a moment he was already on the bed and you were being scooped up in his arms, regardless if you wanted to or not, “Just leave me alone, you’re being annoying-”
“Am not.”
“Yes you are,” you repeated, this time in a more persistent voice, though it didn’t do much as he just made himself more comfortable and rested his chin on your shoulder instead of leaving like you wanted him to.
“No, I’m not.”
“Daehyun-ah, you’re getting on my nerves-”
With a swift move, two of his fingers slid under your shin and he tilted your head to the side just enough to brush his lips against yours. His other hand wrapped around your waist, your own palm landing upon his and your fingers intertwining as he continued kissing you lightheartedly and slowly, in a way that felt just right for this specific moment. It was annoying, the way all of your annoyance just faded away when he did as much as this. But it was better than just wearing his sweater. It felt so satisfying to have him around and have him being affectionate like this, you felt yourself melting into his touch more and more with every passing second.
“I have one that’s dark blue, with a ribbon on the front,” he said quietly after he broke the kiss, and he bit his lip a little, looking down at the sweater, “That one’s going to suit you so well.”
“Are you trying to make me look like a present or something?”
“Well, you have to look presentable, right?” he smirked cheekily again, chuckling as he received a playful slap to his chest for another lame pun of his. A slap from a hand that’s downed out in a sleeve way too long for it.. He just couldn’t help but notice all the little detail and couldn’t get enough of it at the same time. You were attached enough to him to wear his clothes, and that certainly made him feel like he was on cloud nine.
“You’re lucky you’re cute.”
“I know,” he couldn’t help but plant another quick kiss on your lips before moving his head back to resting on your shoulder and watched as you took your phone back in your hand, your other hand’s fingers still tangled with his as you resumed what you were doing prior to him invading your personal space, “But you’re by far superior to me in that aspect.”

Chance Encounters//Jung Daehyun (B.A.P)
Pairing: Jung Daehyun x Reader
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: Unorganized and probably a lot of typos lol
Words: 2.5k
(A/N: E’Dawn and HyunA are dating and I’M FUCKING STOKED! But that’s for another post for another time. Anyways, here’s this.”
“We first saw each other at a concert a few years ago but didn’t speak. But, later, my friend’s car broke down so we had to hitchhike our way home, which was almost 15 miles away and, surprise, it was Seungjin and his friend in this huge truck. He sat in the back with me and we talked all night until they dropped us off at our apartment and I forgot to ask for his number. Turns out, he was hired at my dad’s car dealership and, from there, we began dating. Now, we’re a few months from our wedding. I guess it was fate.”
You rolled your eyes as your coworker told the cliché story for the millionth time today, everyone gathered around her desk to gaze at her engagement ring, congratulating her and asking if they’ll be invited to the wedding. Fate was such a ridiculous concept to you. The idea that some supernatural being made the impossible possible almost made you laugh, instead you scoffed. The group of heads turned to you as you focused on your desktop screen, typing away as they glared at you. You weren’t necessarily the office downer, just the person that saw reality and forced it into places that should be filled with some kind of fun.
“Problem, (Y/N)?” Your eyes shot up at the sudden call of your name, your fingers ceasing their movements as your hands found their way under your chin, holding you up as you stared at the crowd, a fake smile forming on your lips.
“No problem, just think you’re all a bit delusional.”
“You have no spirit, (Y/N). Maybe that’s why you’re still single.” The comment made your eyes twitch in annoyance before you returned your attention to the unfinished document, beginning to type as you tried to ignore her words but couldn’t help but respond.
“I’m single by choice. My job is my main priority right now, not a relationship and, if a relationship is your main focus, you need to rethink a lot of things in your life.” The words stunned everyone. They were filled with so much spite and bitterness, from a place only you know about and certainly weren’t willing to share with anyone.
“Okay, didn’t mean to offend you. But just wait, you’ll find a guy just like I did and then you’ll believe.”
“Doubt it but thanks.”
You gasped as the sound of the fire alarm rang throughout the large space, everyone standing cautiously while looking around for the source, a panicked intern rushing out and searching frantically for a fire extinguisher.
“What’s going on?” You could hear your boss’ voice as she moved from her office, staring down everyone before the obviously teenaged boy stepped forward, fire extinguisher in his arms.
“I went to make coffee and looked away for a few seconds and one of the filters caught fire. I don’t know how, I was just doing what you asked.”
“There’s smoke!”
The black clouds started rolling out and everyone began to panic, many screaming as they abandoned their items and rushed straight to the elevator, a few grabbing the extinguisher to fight the flames themselves, and some, like you, grabbing their belongings and heading straight for the stairs and right out of the building. It was obvious no one would stick around for work that day so why bother staying? You could finish your work from home anyways.
You sighed as you made it outside but suddenly jumped back at the sound of large raindrops hitting the pavement. The forecast didn’t call for rain today, besides, it was summer! You took the bus today but obviously couldn’t wait out in this weather, but standing by a burning building wouldn’t be smart either. You placed your messenger bag over your head before sprinting down the street, flinching at the random burst of thunder while trying to find somewhere to stay. This day was turning out to be the worse than you expected but you weren’t alone.
Was Daehyun a bad driver? That was debatable. But, today, his driving wasn’t the problem. He sat, wide-eyed, as his car suddenly stopped, the sound of his radio now gone and replaced with the rain hitting his car. He was in the middle of the street, a car honking behind him as he tried to start the car but to no avail. He jumped at the loud knock on his window, his eyes finding an angry man with his hand over his head. Daehyun rolled down his window, prepared for the anger this man obviously had.
“What are you doing? Can’t you see there’s almost 5 cars behind you?”
“I’m sorry but my car won’t start.”
The man nodded understandingly before motioning for him to step out of the car, moving back to his own and speaking to one of his three passengers. Daehyun stepped out and braced himself for the rain, upset he didn’t bring an umbrella. The man quickly came back as another exited the car and went into the driver’s seat.
“I’ll help you push it out of the way but I can’t help you start it.”
“Thank you.” Despite being drenched by the rain and having his car suddenly crash on him, Daehyun smiled, moving behind his car with the man and pushing it forward. It moved easily despite weighing much more than both of them.
As they found the closest spot in front of a small, family owned restaurant, pushing the car near the curb before Daehyun turned to thank they man once more, you rushed inside, letting out a deep sigh of relief and anger. Your bag was soaked, all of your work and laptop probably destroyed. You sadly began to dig through your bag, searching through each folder to make sure nothing was destroyed.
The chatter from the somehow overcrowded bakery drowned out the chime from the door, Daehyun stepping inside and pushing a hand through his hair to remove his wet bangs from his eyes. A young woman looked over and excitedly made her way towards him.
“Hi. How may I help you?”
“Table for one, please.” You and Daehyun spoke simultaneously as you quickly abandoned your search. You looked at one another as the woman nodded awkwardly, going off to find two tables for you both.
You two just stared at each other, taking in the fact you were both disasters but still flattering and attractive. You shifted slightly under his gaze, looking away as if nothing had just happened but he refused to. There was something so familiar about you, he just didn’t know what.
“Right this way.” The woman came back with a smile, your eyes widening as you waved her off.
“We’re not toge-“
“Thank you. Let’s go.” Daehyun interrupted you and guided you ahead of him, your face filled with confusion as to why he did that and why you were still going along with him.
You shyly thanked the woman as you slid into your seat, Daehyun sitting across from you as she placed two menus onto the table, stepping away to allow you decide what to order. You stared the stranger down, his eyes scanning the booklet as if you weren’t there before glancing up at you, a small smile forming on his face.
“Why’d you do that?”
“No one likes to eat alone.”
“Well, you obviously don’t know me.” You shot back but, instead of another witty comment, you found his hand in front of you, waiting expectantly.
“We have some time before anyone plans on leaving out of here so, why not get to know each other? I’m Daehyun.” You grimaced at his hand before looking back outside, the storm seeming to continue.
You were starving and he didn’t seem like too much of a weirdo so, hesitantly, placed your hand in his, shaking it slightly before pulling away and grabbing the stray menu.
“(Y/N).”
As much as you hated to admit it, the day went from bad to worse to actually decent. Daehyun wasn’t as weird as you thought. He had definitely had his quirks but, overall, he was an open and genuine guy, making you smile just because he did, impressing you by how much he ate, and even finding an interest in you. You learned that he was a singer and he learned that you were an accountant. He told you about his group members, even going as far as to try to fix your laptop because “one of them deals with electronics all the time and he might have learned something from watching him.”
By the time you glanced up, you noticed the restaurant start to clear out, the storm completely gone and replaced with sunshine. You and Daehyun were no longer eating but just talking, his head tilting as he stared at you a bit longer before gasping loudly, causing you to jump in confusion.
“I remember you. You went to one of my plays. I think the guy next to you was talking the entire time.” Your eyes widened at the sudden memory.
You had begged your ex to take you to the play after learning it was based on your favorite French novel. Although he took you, he talked the entire time, trying to make jokes about the plot and characters while annoying everyone in the process, leaving you embarrassed the entire night.
“So you’re an actor too? You’re just full of surprises.” The comment was simple but made his smile grow, yours following. It was contagious.
The same woman from before came, placing the check on the table but, before he could even move, Daehyun placed his card inside and handed it back to her.
“You didn’t have to do that.”
“I wanted to. Besides, now we have a little more time to talk before we have to leave.” The woman walked over once more and placed the card on the table, Daehyun freezing slightly which made you giggle.
“How about we just get going?” The words pained you when they left your mouth but there wasn’t much else to do and you didn’t have to wait inside forever.
You grabbed your bag and went to stand, Daehyun looking at you with a strange look, somewhat of guilt and embarrassment, causing you to raise an eyebrow at him.
“Actually, my car isn’t working. It just stopped so I guess I’m stuck here.”
You rolled your eyes and motioned for him to follow you, you both making your way outside the restaurant and to his car before you waved down an older male entering his car. He looked at you as if you were crazy before finally going towards you. He thought it was ridiculous that you were asking for rubber gloves and jumper cables but complied, digging them out of his trunk as you rolled up your sleeves.
“Okay, pay close attention, Daehyun.” And he did, watching in amazement as you went step by step in full detail about jumpstarting his car.
He did know what he enjoyed more, the way you looked genuinely excited as you taught him or the smile on your face when he went into his car and started it, everything turning on as if it wasn’t dead just an hour ago.
You detached the wires and handed the gloves back to the man, thanking him for lending his equipment and engine to help the stranger you now considered a friend. You reached down and grabbed your bag before going to the car window, your smile having yet to fall.
“Where are you going now?” Daehyun asked, your finger pointing down the street to the unsheltered bus stop.
“Home. It’s almost 5 and I have a ton of work to do.”
“I can take you. I think I owe you that much, right?” You bit your lower lip thoughtfully. He didn’t owe you anything, you just used some simple skills of yours to help him out; nothing more, nothing less. But, you have grown fond of his company, and the ride would be short anyways.
Without another word, you opened the door, sliding inside and placing your seatbelt on. You could feel his eyes on, your head snapping in his direction so that your eyes met but he looked away shyly.
“Cute.” You said plainly while reaching out to ruffle his hair as he pulled away from the restaurant.
The drive was quiet but in a comfortable way, both of you deep in thought as the voice of Daehyun’s GPS echoed in the background. There was no doubt in your mind that this would be the last time you saw each other, maybe by some chance you’d meet again but he was a singer and actor, he had so many more things to do than be trapped in this city. After just about an hour or so with him, were you really this attached? Already dreading the second you’ll be home?
Daehyun knew his career would lead him places, and he was prepared for that from the start, but now he didn’t want to leave. From the moment he met you to now, he learned that you were sarcastic, smart, funny, strict about your passions, and a lot more shy than you’d like to admit. He actually liked being around you, finding typical things about you enjoyable, almost endearing. He didn’t care if this would be his last time seeing you for weeks or months, just as long as it wasn’t forever.
“The destination is on your left.”Daehyun followed the GPS’ instructions, finding himself outside of a fairly large apartment complex.
You unbuckled your seatbelt and grabbed your bag turning to say goodbye to him before feeling his arms around you, your body stiff as he held you in a tight hug before slowly releasing you, realizing how sudden and awkward it must have been for you.
“Sorry, I just-“ He cleared his throat, buying some time as he thought about his next words.
“I go on tour in about a week and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out again before I go.”
The question came so fast but not as fast as your hand grabbing his phone, quickly sliding to his contacts and eagerly typing your name and number inside. You felt like a teenager finally asking their crush out and not being rejected, your heart racing as you texted yourself a simple ‘Hi’ to make sure you had his number before handing the device back to him, his eyes slightly wide at the action.
“I’m free tomorrow and can basically work from home any other day.”
“So, I’ll see you tomorrow?” You nodded before exiting the car, not wanting to show too much excitement before you both said your goodbyes, your eyes following his car as he drove off.
You couldn’t help but think about your coworkers. They’d call this fate but you thought of it more as a chance encounter, a coincidence, maybe even a phenomenon.
“(Y/N)!” You gasped as you saw Daehyun running down the street, his car behind him as he rushed towards you, your bag in his hands.
He slowed down before nearly crashing into you, smiling as you reached out to grab the damp parcel.
You refused to call this fate but it was definitely something.

Harry Potter B.A.P AU
Slytherin Daehyun
- pureblood, graduated 2011
- works at the ministry of magic in the department of mysteries (specifically studying prophecies and love - which is highly uncommon of most wizards there as the mystery of love itself is extremely dangerous and can become all consuming)
- was head boy of Slytherin house for four years, and made a show of impressing upon all the wizards and witches that Slytherin was not all that the stigmas made it out to be
- comes from a long line of Slytherin purebloods, but cares little for the legacy as he knows many of his former family members were just as dark as people say Slytherin’s are
- fights to prove the stigmas wrong though with all his might and will fight with anyone who so much as thinks the word mudblood or talks down about any other creature (muggle, wizard, magical being or otherwise)
- which makes him someone that everyone is both fearful of angering and desperate to get close to
- his best friend is Youngjae, and the two are basically attached at the hip whenever they are in the same room together
- at Hogwarts, he excelled at charms, potions and alchemy (another reason why he finds himself so excited to work at the ministry in the mysteries department)
- likes to catch up with his friends at the Three Broomsticks, and typically can be found bothering Yongguk the most
- he enjoys seeing the way he smiles and laughs at stupid things Daehyun says
- since he works at the ministry, he has to be careful with how much information he spills
- but he has a bit of a big mouth and finds it hard not to tell people about what he does
- Himchan always has to slap a hand over his mouth and remind him that the ministry would most likely scold him (or worse) for going around telling everyone the secrets to love
- not that Daehyun knows all the secrets or anything, but he really really just wants everyone to know what goes on within his job
- it’s during one of these chatting days that he runs into you
- he and Youngjae are on their way to the ministry when Daehyun starts talking about the fact that love is so complex and full of questions and that he’s gotten to the root of some of the components (like the importance of attraction and lust towards the creation of love) when he happens to bump into you
- you, who happens to be carrying a large load of papers that all scatter about and fly around and, oh god, someone just stepped on a piece that had to be signed
- you’re scrambling to pick them up when suddenly all the papers rush right out of your arms, filing neatly and correctly into the arms of Daehyun, who gives you a sheepish smile as he apologizes and hands the stack to you
- ‘I should have been watching where I was going. Hopefully it doesn’t happen to you again!‘
- you don’t even get the chance to say a word to him before Youngjae is shoving him into an elevator and grumbling about them being late for work
- and while you think nothing of it, Daehyun can’t quite get the thought of you out of his head
- as he sits at his desk and taps one of his favorite pens (which was given to him by Youngjae for a birthday gift), he thinks about why in the world you hadn’t just used your own magic to get the papers back in order
- he ends up having to ignore his questions though, as his work demands his full attention on a prophecy for the day and he’s really not in the mood to mix an interest with the actual hard evidence that is a divination
- it’s a bit later in the day that an alarm sounds off in the entrance room of the department, and Daehyun is quick to get there, wand drawn and pointing right at...
- ‘what are you doing down here? and how come you set off the alarm?’
- he disarms the shrieking noise, as well as lowering his own wand from where it had been in your face
- you blink, eyes swimming and clearly looking a little confused as you stare around the dark room, all the doors unmarked and everything so black and god, you might be sick
- ‘i was just trying to find the ever-locked room. i was told to bring these files to a Mr. Jung? I just...I got down here and suddenly the walls moved and kept spinning and when I touched a door the alarms went off. I didn’t-’
- Daehyun’s face scrunches up in confusion, not understanding why you sound so lost, but then he seems to get an idea and clears his throat to bring your attention back to him
- ‘are you new here?’
- ‘oh, no, not at all. i’ve been working here for at least three years now. i just always seem to get lost’
- he keeps staring, confused for a beat longer until you adjust your sweater and let out a deep breath of air
- ‘i really don’t have a good explanation for why these things keep happening. it just seems like magic doesn’t agree with me.’
- before you or he can halt the conversation, Daehyun is asking a waterfall of questions ranging from what house you were to where your wand was to why you and he had never met
- your cheeks burn red as he continues to talk as if magic was as second nature as breathing, and you finally have enough of the interrogation, merely shoving the file into his chest
- ‘please give this to Mr. Jung. i’ll have someone else bring these sorts of things next time, so as not to have to deal with this kind of event again.’
- and, as you leave, Daehyun decides that he is going to figure out what exactly is going on with you (he’s interested and never had someone become so upset with all his questions)
- of course, his attempts to know more are thwarted by the fact that you stay as far away from the department of mysteries as much as possible
- the only time Daehyun sees you is in glimpses as you are rushing up or down the stairs to another department (occasionally he sees you crammed in the elevator, but that’s a rarity)
- finally, in a last ditch effort, Daehyun inquires Youngjae on you (since Youngjae seems to know everyone in the ministry)
- and while Youngjae does know you (and fairly well enough to call you a friend), he doesn’t give Daehyun any information
- ‘it’s their business and i know they wouldn’t want to have a friend like me spitting it out to every wizard who asked. if you want to know, ask them yourself’
- so Daehyun does just that, managing to get you down to the department of mysteries again and he’s the first to respond to the alarm going off, a smile splitting his face
- and somehow, he ends up getting you to agree to a drink at the Three Broomsticks (because even if the Leaky Cauldron is closer, he’s not about to drag you there when he gets half priced drinks from Yongguk)
- after a few drinks, you find yourself sighing softly and staring at him closely, pointing a finger in his direction
- ‘you know, it’s so unfair. wizards like you get all this...this power and get to go to Hogwarts and magic doesn’t hate you. but me? i end up a squib in a family full of magic and suddenly i’m shunned’
- and that’s the key Daehyun was looking for, his eyes wide in shock as he realizes that he’s currently on what he would consider a date with someone who doesn’t use magic like him because they can’t
- it kind of blows him away because, in all the time he’s existed, the only squib he remembers is Filch and that seems so odd
- of course, you sober up just enough to realize what you’ve said and you get up to leave (given you know most wizards wouldn’t want to be hanging around a squib), only for daehyun to grab your wrist gently
- and somehow, through more drinks and conversation, he manages to get you to realize that he’s not about to turn you away because you can’t do magic (and he couldn’t turn you away even if he wanted - it doesn’t take much of a genius to know he likes you)
- after this, daehyun becomes your closest confidant other than youngjae and you two spend so much time together, it’s almost expected that you end up together (which happens and youngjae teases daehyun about how dense he could be about love when he works on discovering the mysteries of it)
- but basically, daehyun makes it his mission to not only give you all the magic he can, but to learn to live without it some days (which is actually a lot easier than he thought, even if there are times he kind of cheats if only to make you smile)

Hold
Can I request a BAP story, where Daehyun is in love with you while you’re dating Yongguk? Your choice ending! Angsty please! So I finally finished this 30 yr old request, I am so sorrry but I rewrote this idek how many times afdfaefsd Anyway, I hope u enjoy!! Honestly it’s not thaaaaat angsty but likeeeee yeah
At first you didn’t notice. The change was so subtle, you almost didn’t recognize it. But it became more and more apparent as time passed with the changing months and the coming of the cold winter.
At the end of summer in late August, that was when he told you. Sitting at the kitchen table in his apartment and shielded from the sweltering summer heat, listening to one of his new songs Yongguk told you he loved you. It surprised you; it was sudden, but not at the same time. One: you had an inkling (maybe it was hope) that there was a possibility he did, but never fully believed it because it was probably wishful thinking. It wouldn’t be that hard to believe though, you had grown close, and Himchan and Junhong had both hinted at it before. Two: the way he did it. He was a romantic, but not showy or flamboyant, overly expressive. He expressed himself more subtly through his actions, passive words with hidden meanings, indirectly through music, and preferred the non-conventional means of doing things, at least, idealistically.
You didn’t think of him as the type to plan out an event with many details, but rather the type that knew just what to do, say, to come across clearly. He didn’t have to prove it, you could see it in his eyes. Himchan, Youngjae, and Junhong were particularly excited when the two of you broke the news (not that Jongup was opposed or anything), but Daehyun was different. Of the five boys, you were closest to him, but you thought you glimpsed something in his eyes before that sparkle returned when he congratulated you. It was so brief, you barely noticed. Later you asked about it.
“What do you mean?” Daehyun asked.
“I don’t know, you seemed…bothered or something? Is something wrong? Maybe I just imagined it.”
“Yeah, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Nothing bad’s happened,” he shrugged it off and, reassured, so did you.
It was Autumn. Autumn could be seen two ways: the beginning of the end or as something warm and beautiful. For you, it was both. Your relationship with Yongguk blossomed, but distance grew between you and Daehyun. You figured it was due to his solo debut schedule and the other solo activities he was taking part in; he was just busy. Sometimes things happened that way between friends. As the season progressed and warm ruby, amber, and citrine leaves curled brown and crumbled from the trees, you were finally able to start meeting up again. Usually it was when you all hung out together: you, Yongguk, Youngjae and his girlfriend, and the other four BAP members. Daehyun seemed to keep his distance from you at times and you wondered if Yongguk said anything to him. So you asked.
“Say anything to him? About what?” he asked, he furrowed his brow in confusion.
“Well…I don’t know, you know. Just, like, about-,”
“No? Why would I do that?” he raked his fingers through his hair. “You know I’m not the jealous type.”
“I know, sorry.”
“Don’t apologize. Is something wrong?”
“Well, not exactly. I don’t know. Daehyun’s just been acting…different.”
“Hm. I guess if you want, I can ask-,”
“No. I’ll do it if I need to.”
Other times you hung out with Daehyun alone to get coffee or something, but the brightness that usually emanated from him seemed to have faded, and he was less enthusiastic. You started to think that maybe he was angry with you. You wracked your mind for what you might’ve done: was it the time you and Youngjae pulled that prank with the phone? No, he’d only laughed his hearty laugh and told Youngjae he’d pay for it later. When you accidentally told Himchan about when Daehyun…no, he’d forgiven you for that. You couldn’t think of anything substantial. Daehyun wasn’t saying he hated you, or completely avoiding you. But he was more distant and became faded like an old photo.
“Daehyun,” you called hesitantly.
“Hm?” he responded, not looking away from the movie you were watching.
He couldn’t hear that you heart rate was increasing, or that you felt like your words were getting caught in your throat. It was Winter now and Daehyun had gotten colder. You didn’t want to pretend like there wasn’t a heavy secret hanging overhead, crushing you both anymore. You didn’t like that he was hiding something behind his usually sparkling brown eyes and dimmed smile, you didn’t like pretending there weren’t questions pulsing at the back of your mind every time you saw him.
“What did I do?”
“What?” he shifted in his seat beside you, but didn’t turn to face you.
“To make you mad. What did I do?”
“What do you mean? I’m not mad,” he turned to face you and tilted his head, trying to guess what you meant.
“You aren’t? I thought maybe you were. You’ve been acting…different.”
He sighed and turned back to the TV before you could get a glimpse of his reaction, “Let’s just finish the movie.”
“But I want to know what’s wrong? You’ve been like this for months. At first I thought you were tired, then I thought you were angry at me or something. Did something bad happen?”
“No, no, nothing happened. Nothing’s wrong. I’m fine,” he waved his hand dismissively.
“But-”
“I think you’re over analyzing.”
You could tell this wasn’t going anywhere, and left it alone.
Now it was December and Christmas lights were hung on every streetlamp and business, brightening moods getting people excited for travel and family and presents. BAP’s promotions were finished for the year and you were at the dorm; Youngjae decided there should be a small ‘Christmas party’ so you all got together. You got up and told Yongguk you’d be back (somehow you’d convinced him to go instead of work), and headed down the hall, leaving him with Himchan, Junhong, Jongup, and Youngjae’s girlfriend. Daehyun had disappeared a bit ago and you were curious where he’d gone; Youngjae too. You came upon them by accident, but they didn’t notice, since you were around the corner.
“…it’s so hard to be around her,” Daehyun was saying.
“I know,” Youngjae replied. Who?
“It’s…it’s just too hard. I was finally going to tell her this time. I know I said it before, but this time I was really going to do it. I planned everything.”
“I know,” you peeked around the corner and saw Youngjae pat Daehyun’s shoulder and nod. “But you can’t keep thinking about that. It-”
“I shouldn’t have waited. But even if I didn’t, she’s so happy with him anyway. But I always felt like…she was the one,” Daehyun sighed and rubbed his forehead. “I can’t even be mad at him. Yongguk’s–well, he’s him! Sh-.” Yongguk? What about him? Who’s she?
Youngjae sighed,“Daehyun, you should tell her.”
“Tell her what, though? It’s hard to look at you? You broke my heart? Tell her what, Youngjae?”
“You don’t have to say any of that. Just…tell her what happened. I think she’ll understand. You guys are close. She’s worried about you anyway,” he replied.
Daehyun winced, “I don’t know if we’re even that anymore.”
You decided that was enough listening in and went into the bathroom the opposite direction. So that’s it. He’s heartbroken and he didn’t tell me.
A few days after the party, you called him over to discuss what you’d heard. Pretending not to know was eating you up inside.
“What is it?” he asked when he noticed you kept staring.
“Well, I heard something, at the party.”
“…what?” he arched his brow.
“About…you.” His face went ashen for a moment.
“Like what?”
“I heard you and Youngjae talking about a girl you liked that Yongguk knows I guess? Why didn’t you tell me about that? I would’ve done my best to be there for you.”
Daehyun paused, then rubbed his temples, “You don’t know who it is?”
“No…I only heard part of what you said.”
“But you heard me mention Yongguk. And you still don’t know?”
“Yeah, why would I-,” You. He meant you. You were the reason the light went out in his eyes, why his hearty laugh shriveled, and why his smile shrunk. You were what was causing him to whither. He watched realization cross your face. You didn’t know what to say. What do you say?
“I-I’m sorry,” you stuttered out. You never considered Daehyun that way, well maybe early on, but you’d pushed that thought aside because the chance he reciprocated was low in your mind.
“Don’t be.” You sat in awkward silence and he glanced at his phone.
“I have to go,” he rose and stood there for a moment. You wanted to stop him, but for what? He walked out the door and you sat there for a moment, numb with the shock of realization. You glanced at the table and saw he’d left something there. A small box. You grabbed it and made your way towards the door to return it, but something caught your eye. Y/n, written in his small, rounded handwriting. You opened it slowly. It was the little Kekemato you’d bought him on a trip years ago and beside it was a bar bracelet with letters engraved in it. HOLD.

Can I ask for a B.A.P reaction when they see they s/o walking down the aisle on their wedding day?
Hi! I am so sorry, I never get notifications on the app on my phone and when I finally opened Tumblr on my laptop I saw your request. I am also not taking requests but I don't want to disappoint you after so long so I hope you enjoy this short scenario.
Bang Yongguk: This soft man would have his heart in his throat watching you walk down the aisle. He's teary-eyed but he has the biggest, gummiest smile on his face and nothing would ruin this day for him.
Jung Daehyun: Oh this happy-go-lucky ball of energy would be so quiet and so emotional. He tries his best not to cry as he watches you walk down the aisle with a small smile on his face. He is so smitten and definitely the luckiest man in the world.
Yoo Youngjae: He would be so happy and excited but all that stops when he sees you walk down the aisle. His heart is pounding against his chest and his jaw hangs open at how beautiful you look. The man is stunned!
Moon Jongup: Send help. Jongup exe. has stopped working. He is stunned silent. He knew you were pretty but damn something about watching you walking down the aisle just made you 10 times prettier. He may or may not be crying silently.
Zelo: He is just so happy to see you. He is practically vibrating with happiness and he can't wait to call you his. He thinks so are beautiful and every part of his just aches to hold you and kiss you. Just so much joy.

Mato
Pairing: Daehyun x Reader (G) Prompt: Alien Word Count: 2.4K
~Admin V
Daehyun was pissing off your boss again. He took “all you can eat” seriously at the all-you-can-eat buffet you worked at. Your boss wanted to charge him double.
“He’s not doing anything wrong.”
“He’s eating twice as much as every other customer! I lose money every time he comes in!”
It took herculean strength to hide your smile.
“Just get him out.”
You nodded as the boss went back into his office. Once you were sure he was behind the closed door, you grabbed a bag full of crab Rangoon and walked to Daehyun’s table.
“How’s everything today?”
He stuffed a Chinese donut in his mouth. “Delicious.”
You chuckled and stealthily handed him the bag. “For you, but you have to leave.”
He swallowed the food in his mouth and smirked. “Captain Cheapskate angry again?”
“Oh yeah.”
“It’s not my fault he has such delectable foods at such a low price.”
Another chuckle escaped you.
Daehyun popped the last of the food on his plate into his mouth and smiled triumphantly.
You’d been working the courage to ask him for weeks, but it was finally now or never to go through with it.
“Hey, how would you like to have food even better than this for free?”
His eyes were wide and full of excitement as he looked up at you.
Forcing the lump in your throat down, you continued. “My brother is getting married Saturday. If you’re interested, you’re welcome to come.”
It was silent for a moment as he gazed at you. “I don’t know your brother.”
“But you know me,” you nervously tucked hair behind your ear.
“So, it would be like a date?”
The blush spreading across your cheeks was beyond your control. “It -it doesn’t have to be. My brother and his fiancé have a bunch of food trucks coming to the venue. I just thought maybe you’d like to enjoy food without my boss glaring at you.”
He stroked his chin, pretending to consider it. “The food is better, you say?”
“And free,” you added.
A large smile appeared on his face. “Count me in! Where should we meet?”
It was difficult to keep from fidgeting the day of the wedding. It would be the first-time seeing Daehyun outside of work. The two of you agreed to meet after the ceremony at the reception, which happened to be your brother’s back yard. Would he recognize you out of your uniform?
Someone cleared their throat next to you.
Surprise filled you when you turned and saw it was Daehyun. Of course, you knew you’d look different in formal attire, but you weren’t entirely prepared for how he would look.
He wore a black suit with gray pinstripes and a pink satin tie. His brown hair was still fluffy and chaotic, but he looked like a rockstar nonetheless.
A smirk formed on his face as you gaped at him. “A little different than when I’m stuffing my face?”
You nodded shyly.
He visibly took in your appearance as well. “I’m feeling lucky myself with a date as gorgeous as you on my arm.”
A blush darkened your skin. “Thank you.”
He offered his arm. “Shall we, before all the good food is taken?”
Shaking with laughter, you took his arm and led him into the reception.
Daehyun looked like a kid entering a candy store for the first time. The venue was outside and as promised, surrounded by multiple food trucks. Tables were strategically placed around the trucks leaving space in the middle for a dance floor and DJ. He insisted getting food from every single truck. When you sat down at a table it actually didn’t look that farfetched from the all-you-can-eat buffet.
The smile never left your face as you watched him try each dish. Lots of happy moans and closed eyes came from Dae every time he took a bite.
Carefully, you took small bites from your taco, making sure not to spill any of the contents on yourself.
“How does that taste?” He was very focused on watching you eat.
Your cheeks were once again red. You finished chewing then swallowed before answering. “It’s really good. The meat is flavored just the right amount and it’s really juicy.”
Daehyun licked his lips and looked over his pile of food. “Do I have that?”
You gave him a sheepish smile. “I think I stole it from you.”
He gasped in false horror. “How dare you.”
You both giggled. He gladly took the rest of the taco as you offered the plate to him. He didn’t even bother to bite from the opposite end. He shoved the whole thing in his mouth, slightly resembling a chipmunk with full cheeks.
Mouth full, he responded, “You’re right.” Once the food was down, he continued. “I think I might love you for inviting me today.”
As he went back to other food in his hoard, you sneaked a plate he was ignoring and enjoyed eating with him. When you were finished with the plate, Daehyun also seemed to be finished, sitting back in his chair with his hand resting on his belly.
“Wow, Jung Daehyun full? I never thought I’d see the day.”
His hand waved in dismissal. “I’m not full. Just letting things digest a bit before I go for seconds.” He cleared his throat and sipped at his drink.
“Surrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeee.”
His napkin was tossed in your direction as he continued drinking and hemming.
Now that neither of you were focused on the food, you enjoyed the music coming from the DJ.
Standing, you walked to Daehyun and offered him your hand. “Wanna dance?”
The smile he revealed was contagious. He took your hand and led you both to the dance floor. You were envious at how much better he was at dancing than you. He spun you and pulled you close to him. You both swayed to the music. He even started to sing along to the music.
“I didn’t know you sang.”
“How could you? Can’t exactly sing and eat at the same time.” He coughed again, something he ate must not have been going down smoothly.
“You okay?”
“Just itchy suddenly.”
“Itchy?” You stopped dancing and looked at him carefully. “Did it get worse since we started dancing?”
He looked a little worried but nodded.
“I think you’re having an allergic reaction. Are you allergic to anything?”
“Allergic? I’ve never had problems with human food before.”
Human food?
Dae cleared his throat again, starting to scratch at his neck a little.
Suddenly, his skin started having a pink glow to it.
“Oh god, that can’t be good.”
“What?” his eyes were wide now.
You wrapped his arm around your shoulder and pulled him in the direction of your brother, who was allergic to bees.
Your brother was smiling and sipping from a champagne glass, then noticed the two of you. “Hey, is he okay?”
“I think he’s having an allergic reaction to some of the food. Do you still have epipens?”
“Yeah, take him to the guest bedroom, I’ll grab one.”
Daehyun was becoming short of breath as you walked him to the downstairs bedroom. His throat was closing up.
Concern filled your voice when you told him to lay on the bed. He was gasping, which had you worry, but you knew your brother was on his way with the epinephrine.
Your fear grew as the pink glow started becoming unnatural. That’s when you noticed the ears. The glow grew above his hair and formed what looked like two rabbit ears.
“Daehyun?” your voice shook.
“Mato,” he mumbled.
“What?”
Your brother walked in then with the epipen and without looking too closely at the other man, jabbed it into his thigh.
The glow instantly disappeared from his skin and he deeply sucked in air.
“He should be alright.”
“Yeah,” you breathed. “Thanks.”
“Just had to make a scene on my wedding day.”
You waved him off so it was just you and Daehyun. “Can you hear me? Are you okay?”
His eyes stayed closed. “I don’t know. I feel dizzy.” There was sweat forming on his forehead.
“It’s your body’s reaction to the epinephrine. You should rest here. I’ll get you some water. Do you want me to call someone?”
He reached for your wrist. “Stay.”
“Just let me get you some water. You might feel better after drinking.”
The grip tightened. “Don’t leave me.” He pulled on you until you lay in the bed next to him.
His heart was beating quickly because of the adrenaline. You pushed his slick hair out of his face.
“Daehyun?”
“Mmm?”
“What’s Mato?”
His eyes opened then and he stared at you with shock. “What did you say?”
“Mato . . . you muttered it before you got the shot.”
Terror was on his face. He hadn’t meant to say it. You knew you shouldn’t pry, but now you had to know.
Speaking in a whisper, you asked, “What are you?”
His voice was shaky now. “What do you mean?”
“You were glowing. At first, I thought it was just your skin from the allergic reaction, but then . . .”
“Then?”
It sounded crazy, but you knew what you saw. “You had ears. Like a rabbit. Also glowing.”
Daehyun sat up and quickly moaned in response to the sudden action.
You helped him to lay back down.
“You can never repeat that.”
“What?”
He looked hard into your eyes. “What you said just now, it can never leave your mouth again.”
“Daehyun, what’s going on?”
His eyes closed once more and he scrunched his forehead, clearly trying to come up with an explanation.
A knock sounded on the door. Two men you didn’t recognize stood in the doorway.
Suddenly embarrassed to be seen laying with Daehyun, you sat up and rested at the edge of the mattress.
They weren’t dressed for a wedding. They both wore all black, though the taller, leaner man had hints of red in his apparel. The shorter man had hints of yellow in his.
The taller man spoke. “Thank you for caring for our brother. We will take him home now.”
“I don’t think so.” You squeezed Daehyun’s hand. A look of panic was on his face.
“He is ill, is he not? That’s why he called for us. You’ve done all you can. He needs to come with us.” His deep voice sent goosebumps up your arms.
But there it was again, like when Daehyun said “human food.” He called for us. As soon as you realized he was having an allergic reaction, you never left his side. Dae never took out a phone to call or message anyone. And even if he did, they couldn’t have gotten here so quickly.
“Who are you?”
The man in yellow huffed. “We already told you, we’re his brothers.”
Daehyun slowly sat up again. “I thought you were working on your manners, Youngjae.”
The shorter man glowered in response.
The feeling that something strange was happening was hard to shake, and you didn’t want to leave Daehyun with these two strangers, despite their claims of being family.
His hand rubbed circles in your back as he sensed your unease. “It’s okay.” He grabbed your hand for support as he got off the bed.
“Daehyun,” it was almost a whisper.
“I’ll call you later and explain everything.”
“Not likely,” Youngjae sneered.
Ignoring him, Dae lifted you from the bed and pulled you so you were face to face. “I’ll be okay. I’ll call you later. I promise.” He kissed your cheek.
You tried to give a slight smile, but it didn’t hide your discomfort of the situation well. Looking back at the other men to try and reassure yourself only made your mouth drop. There weren’t hints of color in their black clothing like you thought. They were glowing, just like Dae was moments ago. Your eyes scanned to the tops of their heads, where sure enough you saw faint outlines of rabbit like ears.
This didn’t go unnoticed by the two men. Youngjae quicky grabbed Daehyun and the taller man glared down at him. “What did you do?” His deep voice gave you goosebumps again. He pointed in your direction. “What do they know?”
Daehyun was at a loss for words, stuttering as he scrambled for an explanation. “Guk, please.”
The taller man, Guk, nodded at Youngjae. The shorter man tightened his hold on Daehyun, which caused him to squirm and thrash. Dae was begging and pleading, but your focus was solely on Guk who was walking towards you.
“He-he,” you couldn’t control your voice or body from shaking. “He didn’t do anything. He just had a reaction to some food.”
Guk was very clearly disinterested in your words. His hand came up to your face. He allowed two fingers to stroke from your chin, up the side of your cheek, then stopped at your temple. “I’m sorry.”
It was instant that you felt dizzy and confused. You were pushed back onto the bed and fell asleep.
A knock woke you. You felt groggy and desperately wiped at the sleep in your eyes. Your sister-in-law walked from the doorway and sat next to you on the bed.
“Hey, you okay? Your date left a while ago.”
“My date?” You were still trying to wake up. You weren’t sure where you were or what was happening.
“Yeah. After not seeing you, I wanted to come check on you.” She paused and looked you over. “You must’ve had the same thing that made him sick. What was it, I’ll go ream out the food truck vendor.”
All you could do was lean forward with your head in your hands and groan.
“Hold on.” She left the room momentarily and came back with a glass of water and ibuprofen. After you swallowed the pills, she pulled out her phone. “I was lucky enough to get a picture of you two dancing.” She handed you the phone.
You stared at the picture as she continued talking. “He’s hot. And he was good at dancing. Almost made me jealous.” But you couldn’t respond to her. You didn’t recognize the man in the photo, but it was you dancing with him. A shiver crept up your spine the longer you looked at it. “What was his name?”
The longer to observed the picture, it seemed to change. A pink glow was appearing around the man. The glow stretched longer above his head. You gasped. “Mato.”

B.A.P reacting to their boyfriend’s tattoos
Yongguk:
As someone with tattoos himself, he doesn’t really care, or rather – he isn’t that surprised. Yongguk has a huge chest piece and his older sister is a tattoo artist, so he isn’t unfamiliar with ink and imagery on skin.
Of course, he is interested in your tattoos and would 100% support you whenever you’re considering getting a new one. Whenever you bring the topic up in a conversation, you can bet that Yongguk helps you brainstorm ideas and pulls up his phone to research various tattoo artists.
Yongguk will often find himself immersed in the pictures scattered all over your (s/c) skin and catch himself tracing the various colours on your exposed body whenever he wakes up before you. Tattoos for him is just another art form, and he loves the way they make your skin more vibrant.
Himchan:
Having no tattoos at all, Himchan is a little shocked when he sees yours for the first time. However, that doesn’t mean he’s negative towards them. After the initial shock, Himchan’s curiosity gets the better of him and he can’t stop asking you questions.
He secretly loves how badass they make you look and add to your overall ‘bad boy’ image, but he will constantly tease you for taking his bad boy role. Himchan also secretly loves the way other people look at you in public because you’re his gorgeous boyfriend! Though he will never admit it due to his pride.
Since he has no tattoos, he knows very little about the process around getting one and that is the topic he will ask the most about. If you want to get a new one, Himchan would definitely ask you if he could come along, and if you got one for him, he will definitely cry.
Daehyun:
He has some of his own and seeing yours would make him considering getting new ones. However, he cares the most about the messages they portray and the meaning behind them. Daehyun’s tattoos mean a lot to him and he loves to hear you talk about the stories behind your own.
Daehyun is the most likely out of B.A.P to get matching tattoos with you. Not your names necessarily, but maybe something dear to the both of you and your relationship. Your boyfriend is a sap after all.
A thing he likes to do is kissing them. Whenever you wear something that shows off the ink you got or wear nothing at all, there isn’t a single moment where his lips have been all over your skin.
Youngjae:
Another member who doesn’t have any tattoos and probably won’t get anyone either. Youngjae is also the member who’s the most shocked by your tattoos, but that quickly passes as you explain each of them to him and changes into understanding.
He grows rather fond of your tattoos and how they look on you. Youngjae has his favourites and he is not afraid to rank them and point out the ones he likes the least. Since he knows you are confident in them and in your own decisions, he knows that his own opinions won’t overrule your own. The ‘critiques’ often tend to make you laugh instead.
Even if he doesn’t want tattoos of his own and means they won’t fit his image and personality, he is quick to realise how good they look on you. That results in him becoming your own personal stylist some days, Youngjae is rather persuasive too because he won’t leave the flat if you’re not wearing what he wants you to wear.
Jongup:
Jongup doesn’t have any either and he doesn’t really have any strong opinions regarding the topic. In fact, he doesn’t really register that you have tattoos until one of his fellow band members asks him about it or points it out.
He feels quite awkward for not noticing it earlier and it just makes him shyer to ask you about it. Because of his awkwardness and seemingly ‘disinterest’ in the topic, you ask him if they make him uncomfortable. Feeling guilty, he explains the situation really embarrassed to which you reassure him with long and loving kisses that he can ask whenever and whatever.
After getting attentive to your beautiful work, he feels a bit flustered whenever they are visible, not only for not noticing them before but also because he sees how handsome you look with them. Jongup is the least subtle being you know about, so it’s easy to spot whenever he has looked at them too long due to his red ears.
Junhong:
Having looked up to Yongguk for years, it’s no surprise that Junhong has tattoos. He would be the most excited of the members when he finds out that his boyfriend has tattoos as well. There is no chance you will be able to explain them all without a lot of interruptions from him.
Junhong is the boyfriend who loves to take cool pictures, so a good chunk of the pictures on his camera roll would be the both of you wearing clothes to show your tattoos off and your bodies pressed and tangled together so the tattoos are included in the shot.
Seeing your skinned filled with them makes him smile and he will trace them whenever he has the chance, however, most of the times that result in a tickle fight. Junhong has no idea why, but he feels extremely confident with you and by seeing you express yourself in the art covering your skin.

“This dress is so heavy, I feel as if I have a weight upon me that is dragging me towards the ground,” you complained and he chuckled. Leaning towards him, you smiled. “Perhaps you could be a gentleman and help remove it?”
“You are a positively wicked creature, Y/N.”
“Why? I am merely asking for your assistance.”
“Here?” Daehyun questioned and you nodded. “You surely wish to risk being found with your stable hand by others from the party and have me hanged?”
“So I can go for a swim in the lake under the moonlight,” you reiterated, slapping Daehyun’s arm as he chuckled, hands expertly delving into the rich fabric, searching for the enclosures. You grinned at his willingness, stretching up to kiss him on the side of his face. His hands faltered and dark eyes turned to soak you up, making you feel as if the fabric upon you would suffocate you with how stifling hot it was becoming.
“Temptress,” he murmured before continuing with his aid, taking some time to figure the confusing nature of it before stripping off his plain shirt as well. Taking your hand, you both began darting down the pathway to the lake beyond the garden maze.
Just as you were about to enter the water, Daehyun pulled you back into the bushes rapidly, a hand covering your muffled confusion as best as it could. Staring up at him, you stilled when you heard the gurgled cry, the splashing of frantic water beyond your vision. You lurched forward only for Daehyun to hold you more tightly, shaking his head desperately. The noise from the lake soon ceased as your heart grew louder within your chest. Just as you went to pull away again, you heard footsteps enclosing on your hideaway, Daehyun quietly drawing you both back into the garden and out of complete sight. Clamping your eyes shut, you remained tucked into his side until he tapped you, giving you the silent instruction to wait where you were hidden.
Shaking your head in protest, you gripped at his hand and Daehyun swallowed heavily before nodding, stepping out onto the pathway again and checking both ways. You stumbled behind him onto the lakefront, gasping when you saw a body floating within the stained water.
“Stay here,” Daehyun instructed and you let go of his hand when you recognised the dress design, dashing into the water. Turning the woman over, you screamed and fell backwards, tears streaming from your eyes.
It was Lucy, your best friend.
And you had just listened to her death.

You never believed in love. It was never part of your world, ripped from you at a young age. You were a hunter, a soldier against the inhuman creatures inhabiting the world. You lived a cursed life, one that saw more death than any one person should witness. You’ve spent too many years crying over people that were ripped from you and you finally decided to stop caring. No matter what happened, you refused to get close to another human being, and for many years, it worked out for you. If you didn’t care about anyone, your enemies would have no one to destroy.
Although it wasn’t the best, you had accepted that this was your life. Once you become a hunter, there’s no escaping it.
That’s what you always told yourself, what you wholeheartedly believed until he entered your life.
It happened so suddenly that you’re still not sure about the events that had taken place. You had been in Seoul, tracking down a small coven of vampires that had been terrorizing the locals. All of them were sitting in their home just waiting for you to murder them, except for the youngest, who you tracked down to a nightclub several blocks away. You found the vampire in question, about to bite a man that was clearly drunk and unaware of his surroundings. One clean sweep of your hatchet was all it took to end the terror the clan had been spreading.
You had been in similar situations many times before and you had no problem walking away from the victims. There were dozens of people just a few feet away – one of them would eventually enter the back room and find the male, but this time was different.
His eyes were clouded over from the mixture of alcohol in his system and the pheromones injected by the vampire. His hand reached out for your own as he slid down the wall, too inebriated to stay on his feet without assistance. You wanted to walk away like you had done thousands of times before, but your feet would not obey. You couldn’t break your gaze from his.
His plump lips parted, but no sound escaped.
Knowing you were going to regret your decision, you helped him back onto his feet, throwing his arm around your shoulders. It took some patience to get him through the crowd, but you managed, stepping out into the cold night.
“Where do you live?” You questioned, only to grunt when the weight suddenly increased. He nearly hit the ground, but you managed to readjust your grip, setting him against the wall. He was out cold, his chest rising and falling as he slept. With a groan, you repositioned him so he’d fall onto your back. You were seriously regretting your decision now, but it was too late to turn back now.
You struggled to get back to your hotel, which wasn’t too far from the nightclub. A couple people sitting outside looked at you strangely but you just sent them what you hoped was a friendly smile before hastily sliding the keycard into the slot.
Backing up to the bed, you released your grip and let him fall, lightly bouncing on the mattress. He didn’t stir from his slumber. How were you going to explain why he was in a stranger’s hotel room? Whatever, you’d cross that bridge when you got to it.
After that night, there was a little piece of red twine that tied the two of you together. No matter where you went, you would run into Daehyun despite trying your best to avoid him. He was after your heart, and that terrified you. By the time you realized what was happening, it was far too late – you were addicted to each other and neither could get enough.
In the blink of an eye, you had been dating each other for two years. The fear never left you, but Daehyun instilled a small flame of hope in your heart – hope that you could love and be loved, and live a normal life.
This would prove to be your biggest mistake.
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚: *⋆.*:・゚ .: ⋆*・゚: . ☁
From the moment you woke up, you had a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach. You didn’t know what was causing it, but you knew something wasn’t right. The unease made you stick to Daehyun like glue, your body on high alert. Being the clingy shit he is, he thoroughly enjoyed being so close to you at all times throughout the day, unaware of the real reason behind your sudden clinginess.
Daehyun poked your cheek, a smile on his lips. “I need to get my makeup done, babe.”
Your grip around him tightened for a moment before you reluctantly released him.
He chuckled, pecking your lips. “I’m not going far.”
Your eyes followed him as he crossed the room, greeting a cordi as he took a seat in the chair. You caught her eyes and felt a chill go down your spine, your heart picking up speed. A sense of dread filled you, one you had become quite familiar with. Swallowing hard, you sucked in a breath, quickly exhaling. Wrapped up in the words was a faint, “Cristo”.
The cordi’s head snapped up, eyes scanning the room. It only lasted for a moment, but her eyes turned completely black, swallowing the sclera and iris.
It felt like your heart stopped.
“Are you okay?” Jongup asked softly, noticing how tense and rigid your body had become, hands turning white as they tightened around your jeans.
“Fine,” you breathed out shakily. “I’m fine,”
He wasn’t convinced, but he let it go, sparing you a worried glance every few minutes.
Daehyun was the last of the boys to get his makeup done, so when the cordi finished with him, she packed the makeup and left the room. He tried to wrap his arms around you, but you pulled away.
“I have to use the bathroom,” you rushed out of the room, running after her. She knew you were following her, but her relaxed pace didn’t change as she entered an unused room, glancing at you as she did so.
Your eyes scanned the area, making sure it was clear before you pulled out your knife. It was infused with salt, holy water, and demon blood. While it couldn’t kill a demon, it would certainly hurt them long enough for you to exorcise them.
You slowly entered the room, closing the door behind you.
She was sitting on a broken stool, her legs crossed as she applied mascara. “You seem a bit young to be a hunter.”
“There’s many that are younger than I am.” You commented, taking a few steps forward but careful to keep your distance.
She sighed dramatically, snapping the compact shut. “I came to Seoul because I heard there were very few hunters here. My luck would lead me straight into one.”
Your grip on the knife tightened. “What are your intentions here, demon?”
She clicked her tongue. “I have a name, human.”
“I couldn’t care less, you’ll be back in hell soon enough.”
Her eyes narrowed, red lips pursing. “Or we could make a deal.”
“Do you really think I’m fool enough to make a deal with a demon?” You scoffed, pointing your knife in her direction. “I’ve been around long enough to know better.”
“Hmm, even if it’s in your best interest?” She smirked, leaning forward. “You wouldn’t want anything to happen to your precious Daehyun, would you?”
Hearing his name triggered something within you and you rushed forward, aiming for her throat. She easily dodged your attack, gripping your wrist so tight that you lost feeling in your hand. The knife fell, clattering against the ground.
“Humans never change. Make them angry and they lose all sense of danger, rushing into their own death.” Her grip tightened for s moment before she shoved you down, the wind knocked out of you. “Calm down, I don’t want to fight.”
“Then what do you want?!” You demanded with a growl, trying to ignore the pain in your wrist.
She pursed her lips, eyes growing distant for a moment. “Peace,”
“…eh?”
“I just want peace. I’ve paid for my mistakes, centuries of paying for them. I made it out of hell, and I won’t be going back anytime soon.” Her eyes bore into your own. “We’re not so different, you and I. We’re both running away from a fate we didn’t want…”
You bit your lip, heart racing. Your mind was screaming at you for even considering such a thing. “What… What are the terms of your deal?”
“We scratch each other’s back. You help me fend off any hunters that happen to pass through, and I’ll help you protect that boy from any creatures that come after him.” She held out her hand, waiting for you to accept.
Your hand shook as it hovered over yours. Making a deal with a demon went against everything you believed in, everything that had been ingrained in you since childhood, but you would do anything to protect Daehyun. “Deal,”
She easily pulled you up, her lips finding yours. “The deal has been sealed. Pleasure doing business with you, human.”
You wiped your mouth with the back of your hand, watching as she headed for the door. “Y/N. My name is Y/N.”
She paused, glancing over her shoulder. “Alera,” And then she was gone.
You took a few minutes to compose yourself before heading back to the boys. It still felt as if your insides were shaking, but at least it wasn’t something others could see.
Daehyun’s eyes lit up when you entered the room and his arms immediately found your body. “I missed you~”
You buried your face in his chest, breathing in deep. His scent invaded your senses, helping to calm your nerves. It didn’t matter what you had done or what hell you would face. All that mattered was the man before you and his happiness.
“I’ll do anything for you, Dae.”
His heart fluttered and he picked you up, your feet hovering over the ground. “I know and I love it! I’ll do anything for you too, Y/N.”
You pressed your lips against his, nipping at his plump lower lip. He groaned in approval.
“Ahem,” Himchan cleared his throat loudly. “Maybe you could wait until AFTER the interview?”
Daehyun broke out in laughter, snuggling his face into your neck. His happiness was pure, tugging at your heartstrings as you ran your hand through his soft hair.

Daehyun and rainy days
okay I love this one it’s adorable
“Bored much?”
His arm snatched around your waist from behind with such ease and professionalism that it was crystal clear how familiar and ordinary this task had become over the long time you’ve known each other as lovers. Your fingers remained rested against the window, and you waited for Daehyun to settle into a more comfortable position, his chest pressing against your back firmly, providing a sense of warmth and safety.
“It just won’t stop,” you concluded quietly, watching raindrops slowly sliding down the glass, as if participating in a race to who’s going to hit the window sill faster, “I mean, I understand, it’s rainy season and all.. But it’s been straight up pouring for three days in a row. I kind of miss the outside world at this point.”
His warm chuckle hit the nape of your neck, and he took the chance to nestle in a little cozier, his chin sneakily landing on your shoulder. He sighed in content and took some time to simply watch the same scenery as you before drawing his own conclusion.
“Too bad. I don’t miss the outside world at all.”
There was a sense of understandable exhaustion in his voice, and that alone made you tangle your fingers into his hair and brush through it a few times reassuringly. You knew that while he was young, had the power and the abilities and opportunities to do so, he had to go and conquer as much of the world as he could, at any given chance. But you simply couldn’t help but wish that he’d be here more often. Home, giving himself a rest every now and then. Life was full of cliches and on most occasions his was overworking himself.
“At least I have an excuse to, like.. Sleep all day and stuff,” Daehyun’s voice was somewhat pouty and you chuckled at that. Being lazy every now and then always brought a sense of comfort, didn’t it?
“Or to cuddle up to a certain somebody.”
“As if you ever need an excuse for that,” you immediately dismissed his statement and proved it wrong, but he didn’t even seem mad about any of that. Instead, his lips softly pressed against the side of your neck and he left a few taunting kisses there before burying his nose in that same spot, breathing in your scent for just a moment and letting silence hang over your heads.
There were so many days in a lifetime and he certainly didn’t spend enough of those with you, or at least it didn’t feel like he did. But he loved you. He loved you so much, for being there, for being understanding, for being every sort of compassionate.. Daehyun felt his grip around your waist tightening even though he knew he didn’t have to do that, it’s not like you’d leave anytime soon. And still, he wanted you to know that he did want you to stay, for as long as you could. Moments like these were rare, but every time they occurred he swore himself to make them more frequent.
His final conclusion came in a mumble, followed by long, comfortable, peaceful silence that was only interrupted by the sound of raindrops hitting glass.
“If it would be up to me, it would never stop pouring.”

Doomed to Confess
Deahyun x fem!reader | cheater, smut, Choi Seunghyun
Word count: 930
Requested by a very patient anon
I hope you enjoy and that this is what you meant aaahhh!!
~
“Do you work tonight?” Seunghyun asks you as you are very clearly getting dressed for work.
“No. I just like dressing up like a waitress in my free time.” You reply, giving a fake smile. “The skirt is extremely comfortable.”
“Oh. Well, bring me back something to eat.”
“Please?”
“Please!”
You kiss his cheek after you finish getting ready for work. He grabs your arm and pulls you closer, whining slightly before kissing your again.
“You should call off. Just for one night.” He pouts.
“My manager will fire the holy hell out of me.”
You kiss him once more before grabbing your keys and leaving. The drive to work is anything but exciting. There is the normal mid-day traffic and and the stop for coffee to keep yourself awake for the shift.
A few staff members greet you as you rush through the front doors. A waitress stops you and warns you that your manager is pissed you are late. You hold your breath and run to the computer to clock-in. A shadow covers the screen and you awkwardly turn to face the figure. Daehyun stands there with his arms crossed. You lower your head and begin to apologize but he cuts you off.
“If you’re late one more time, I’m gonna have to write you up.” He looks at you in disappointment.
“Sorry. Seunghyun was-” You are cut off once more.
“I don’t care about Seunghyun. You’re expected to be here on time from now on.” He smiles. “And you can stay late to clean up.”
You sigh and nod your head. “Yes, sir.”
The shift goes unbearably slow with Daehyun watching over your every move. You sigh in relief once he puts you on break, running to your car and texting Seunghyun.
[Babydoll]: I’m gonna be late...got in trouble again
[Seung-honey]: oh...is that my fault?
[Babydoll]: idk. its ok. don’t worry about it. [Babydoll]: ill text when i leave
The rest of your break goes smoothly, listening to music until it’s time to go back in. Daehyun seems to back off you later in the shift, worrying more about his own duties. You finish your shift and watch as everyone goes home while you stay late.
“I want this place spotless. I don't care if it takes all night. I can afford it.” Daehyun smiles as he walks to his office.
You begin to break down the prep station, wrapping the food and placing the tubs in the walk-in. Dishes pile high in the sink and you begin to feel angry. You remember your boss telling your coworkers to leave as much work as possible for you. If he wasn't your boss, you'd smack the shit out of him. As you walk to the fridge, you drop an entire tub of mushrooms onto the floor. It makes a noise loud enough that you're sure your boss heard it. You hear the office door open and start to feel angry with yourself.
“What the fuck are you doing?” Daehyun stares at the wasted food on the floor.
“Apparently I’m being a god damn fuck up!” You yell out in frustration.
Daehyun is taken aback by you raising your voice. “I-”
“Are you going to make me stay until my next shift is over, now?” You rip your apron off and throw it across the wall.
“Don’t take this shit out on me! You’re the one that keeps making stupid mistakes!”
The two of you step towards each other, both ready to fight. Your body shakes with anger. Once he reaches you, you slap him hard against the cheek. Daehyun glares into your eyes, making your heart pound hard in your chest. You’re surprised when he grabs your shirt and pulls you close, colliding his lips into yours. He grabs a handful of your hair. You push harder against him and he throws your body back into the prep table.
He lifts you onto it, ripping at the buttons on your top. You bite at his lip while pushes your skirt above your hips, pushing your lace underwear to the side. He grabs your hair again and pulls your head back, biting hard at your neck. Your body twitches forward and you scratch at his shoulder blade. Daehyun brings your body closer to the edge of the table with one arm while unhooking his belt.
Your head rolls back as he wastes no time in pushing his hips into yours. He gasps quietly, feeling electricity surge through him as he thrusts into you. The hand in your hair moves to your throat, fingers tightly wrapping around it.
Daehyun’s pace speeds, making it hard for you to keep your composure. He growls under his breath, feeling heat pool into his stomach as it twitches. You hold your breath, digging your nails into his skin as you yell out in pleasure. Daehyun’s breathing staggers. He grabs your thigh, pushing himself deeper. His body trembles and he pulls away, collapsing into your chest. He fixes himself before standing straight and wiping the sweat from his forehead.
He pulls your skirt back down and grabs your apron from the floor. “Are you quitting?”
“Am I fired if I don’t?”
He smirks and chuckles. “You’ve got a job if you don’t tell your boyfriend about this. And fix your attitude.”
You take hard breaths, fixing yourself a bit more as he walks back to his office. The door shuts and you stare at the wall for a moment. You stand, placing the apron back on and finishing your work for the night.

Making It 🧛♂️🎥🎃
Congrats on your milestone my love... you deserve all the support in the world! Could I please request something with Daehyun as a vampire or fluff set around Halloween! Thank you in advance and for all you share with us 💖💖💖
Thank you so much for requesting, @prettywordsyouleft. I am happy to write anything for you!
Genre: Idol!AU/Fluff
Pairing: Daehyun x You (Female!Reader)
Warnings: None
Words: 2,324
You tried to control your breathing as you ran through the woods, not wanting to risk being heard more than you already were. You were currently barefoot, so you were making enough noise as you stepped on the pine straw and twigs and leaves on the ground beneath you -- any more noise and you wouldn’t be safe for long.
A glance over your shoulder, the moonlight shining down on your face, and you discovered it actually didn’t matter how much noise you were making: he was right behind you, his red eyes gleaming through the darkness and staring at you hungrily.
Your brow furrowed deeply, and you had to tamp down a scream of horror as your heart jumped up into your throat.
Just as you saw him take a step toward you, you turned back around to run. There was no way you could escape him now that he had his sights set on you, but you could try to delay it as long as you possibly could.
But then, before you could even lift one foot off the ground --
“CUT!”
You almost instantly deflated, and the music stopped as your makeup artist scurried over to do touch-ups.
Music video shoots were usually exhausting, but this one was turning out to be particularly long and grueling. You had no one to blame but yourself, of course, since you were releasing a single just before Halloween and had wanted to pair it with a holiday-appropriate video. What better theme than dark forests and vampires?
Speaking of, the actor you’d chosen to play the vampire himself was heading over to you, his smile shy but also quite beaming -- fake fangs included.
“Hi,” he greeted with a soft chuckle, lifting a hand to wave at you as he approached.
“Hi,” you replied with a smile of your own as your makeup artist pressed a powder puff to your forehead. “You’re doing a fantastic job.”
The actor was actually a fellow musical artist, Daehyun. He had quite the prolific career in a six-member group, and you’d been a fan since before you, yourself, had broken out into the music scene two years ago. He had always been your favorite member with his powerful vocals and charming eyes, so when you finally made enough of a name for yourself to start casting actual celebrities in your music videos, you’d requested Daehyun.
And now here he was, standing right in front of you in full vampire attire.
“Oh, thank you,” he replied, nodding at you. “So are you. I honestly thought you were really scared of me just now.”
“You make a pretty convincing vampire,” you said with a soft giggle.
“I think it’s the fangs,” Daehyun murmured, lifting a hand and touching one of the sharp tips protruding from his mouth.
“Yes, definitely,” you grinned. “The fangs and the red contacts. And the cape. And the grayish pallor.”
A smirk tugged at Daehyun’s lips, and your heart repeated its action from just a few minutes ago: it jumped up into your throat.
“Yeah, that would just about do it,” he said.
The director interrupted you then, seemingly appearing out of nowhere (though you figured you just hadn’t noticed him because you’d been too distracted by the handsome vampire conversing with you). “We’ve just got one more shot, and then we’re moving onto the next scene.”
You nodded, and you didn’t have a chance to ask for any more details because the director continued on.
“We’re going to do the part where he catches you,” he explained. “Now, remember, we’re going for a more gothic and romantic feel rather than a horror movie feel, so it won’t be like an abduction sort of scene. It’s almost like you want to be caught.”
Looking at Daehyun listening to the director so earnestly, those plush lips set in a serious line, you knew you wouldn’t have to do much acting in the next twenty or so minutes.
You definitely wanted him to catch you.
“Got it,” you murmured, tipping your chin in a slight nod as the director whirled around and went back to his spot behind the camera.
Before Daehyun turned and assumed his previous place, he whispered a ‘Good luck’ and gave you a thumbs up.
Oh, god, could he be any cuter?
You had to take a deep breath to get back into your ‘I’m being chased by a vampire and I’m scared but also intrigued’ mindset. Your eyes were closed when the director called for playback on your new single, and when he yelled ‘Action!’ your brow furrowed gently as you got back into character.
Your lips began to move, mouthing the lyrics to your song, and you watched with terrified curiosity as Daehyun the vampire smirked wildly at you. Tearing your gaze away from him, you turned and began to run, eventually finding a tree to hide behind.
While you attempted to fit your entire body behind the sturdy trunk, you allowed one hand to slip out into the open as your chest heaved to try and catch your breath.
Of course, as was your plan, your visible hand was an open invitation for Daehyun, and within several seconds, you felt his fingers gently grasping your wrist. The director had reminded you that you almost wanted to get caught, so after the last word in the verse finished, you tugged one corner of your mouth into a smile.
“And cut!”
You let out a breath, and Daehyun let go of your hand before he appeared around the side of the tree. His smile was so wide and beaming that the breath you’d just let out ended on quite the shaky note.
“All right, scene change,” the director announced as the rest of the crew scurried to follow their orders.
“That was really good,” Daehyun praised, and you couldn’t stop yourself from smiling like somewhat of an idiot. Coming from him, someone who’d acted in countless music videos, it was one of the highest compliments you could receive.
“Thank you,” you replied with a shy nod.
“We’re moving on to the bedroom scene,” the director said then, effectively stopping your heart.
“Excuse me?” you coughed.
“He’s caught you, now he’s going to turn you.”
...Ah. Right. A bedroom scene for a vampire really just meant biting the victim’s neck and sucking her blood. You felt silly that you’d been so startled by the director’s words, but one look at Daehyun told you he had been in exactly the same boat.
The expression on his face right now was, in a word, classic.
About half an hour later, you found yourself standing in the middle of a Victorian-style bedroom, tilting your head as the special effects makeup artist dabbed blood onto your skin with a q-tip. She had just placed two puncture wounds right over your vein, and you and Daehyun were preparing to shoot the scene where he drinks your blood and turns you into a vampire.
...You weren’t going to lie, you were incredibly excited.
“Let’s take our places,” the director said, and the makeup artist quickly poked you a few more times before she dashed off behind the camera.
You shot Daehyun a look, one which clearly said you were more than ready and that he was going to do a great job. The two of you had just filmed the scene where he’d actually bitten you, so now all he had to do was finish the job.
As your song began to play again, you waited for the director to yell out ‘Action!’ before again mouthing along with the lyrics.
Your heart jumped in your chest when you felt Daehyun step right behind you, when his hands gently landed on your upper arms. And when you felt his mouth on your neck?
Oh, boy.
You knew this was all acting, but...
You couldn’t deny how good it felt.
You closed your eyes, still mouthing along to the song as you felt the fake blood dripping down your skin and over your shoulder. Your head tilted back just a little, allowing him better access, and Daehyun’s hands tightened on your arms. His chest pressed up against your back, and you instinctively leaned into him, bringing one hand up and resting it on the back of his head.
After a few more moments of Daehyun sucking your blood, the director called out to you to open your eyes and stare into the camera. You were a vampire now, and you had to let the audience know.
With just a bit of regret, you lifted your head, though you still kept your hand on the back of Daehyun’s neck. And on the director’s cue, your eyelids flew open and you stared straight into the camera lens. For an added punch, you lifted one corner of your lips into a very satisfied smirk.
“Perfect! Cut! We’ll add the red eyes in later with CGI, and I think that’s a wrap, my friends!” the director called out, smiling proudly.
You let out a soft exhale as you felt Daehyun step away from you, and the entire set broke out into soft applause to celebrate the end of the shoot.
As you’d done on the sets of your other videos, you made your way to each and every person on the soundstage, thanking them profusely for their hard work and dedication. Even though you and Daehyun were the stars of the video, it wouldn’t have been even remotely possible without the crew behind the scenes.
Once you’d made your way around the entire set, your manager set a warm, fuzzy jacket around your shoulders and ushered you out to your trailer to get changed and ready to leave.
It wasn’t until your makeup artist had removed all the blood from your neck when you realized you had left the set without one word to your co-star. Your eyebrows raised, and you were just about to turn around in your chair and say something to your manager when there was a knock on your trailer door.
“Come in!” your manager answered before you had the chance.
Your eyes were glued to the mirror in front of you, watching the reflection of the door to see who was paying you a visit. Embarrassingly, your heart was racing at the thought of it being Daehyun.
And, almost as if you’d conjured him just by thinking it, there he was, standing in the doorway of your trailer with his own clothes and no makeup on.
Looking like an absolute ten out of ten.
“Hi,” he greeted with a shy chuckle, his lips pulled into a friendly smile. “Sorry to bother you.”
“Oh no, it’s no bother at all,” you replied immediately straightening in your chair. Your makeup artist was still taking the blood off, so you couldn’t turn around to face him just yet. He seemed to understand because he walked over to you and leaned against the vanity.
“I, uh -- I just wanted to thank you,” he said, his expression genuine and earnest as he gazed down at you. “I had a lot of fun. I’ve never done anything like this, and I’m honored you chose me as your co-star.”
You felt your smile curving to match his, and your heart skipped a couple of beats as you looked right back at him. “You’re welcome,” you replied softly. “I’m really glad you could fit it into your schedule.”
The two of you chatted for a minute or two about the video, both expressing your excitement to see the final outcome and your gratitude for the great work of the director.
Just as your conversation about the video came to a natural stopping point, your makeup artist stepped away from your chair and headed into the small bathroom in your trailer. You figured Daehyun would say his goodbyes and leave... but you were more than happy to be proven wrong.
“Listen, I --” he began, shifting a bit uncomfortably as he avoided your gaze for the first time since he’d entered your trailer. “I was wondering... One of my group members is having a Halloween party tomorrow, and I know it’s short notice, but would you --”
“I would love to,” you replied, not doing anything to hide your excitement.
The expression on Daehyun’s face quickly transformed to match your tone of voice, his eyes widening and his smile growing. “Really?”
“Yes, absolutely,” you nodded. “I can just borrow my outfit from the video for my costume.”
“Oh, that’s perfect. I was thinking I would do the same thing and just go as a vampire. And you could --” He gestured to his neck, indicating you should put on some fake puncture wounds and blood like what your makeup artist had just taken off.
Oh. So, he was suggesting the two of you go as a vampire and his victim? Like... a couple’s costume?
Interesting.
“Yeah, yeah, definitely,” you said, trying to hide a sly grin. “But, I mean, that kind of forces us to stay together all night at the party, so...”
Daehyun shrugged, and you could’ve sworn you saw a smirk hidden somewhere in his smile. “Yeah, that was kind of the point.”
Your eyebrows shot halfway up your forehead, and it took everything in you not to laugh with delight.
“So... what time will you pick me up?”
You had been working so hard in your music career for two years now, meeting as many new people as you could and trying to get your face and name out there in the world. And now, after finally “making it,” you had indulged yourself in casting exactly who you’d always wanted to play your romantic interest. Even though he had actually been a vampire in the video, and the two of you hadn’t shared an actual kiss...
Well, I’d say things were turning out quite splendidly anyway.
