You and Jihyun were trying to bake cookies. Trying being the key word. The tasted and looked fine, but something about the holiday season made everything harder. For instance, Jihyun couldn't keep his eyes off you, you just looked stunning in the Christmas lights, you both were covered in flour and cookie dough from goofing off. That's how you got into this mess.

"Darling," Jihyun mumbles in your ear, wrapping his arms around your waist. "You're so stunning in the lights."

"Jihyun," you laughed, turning to face him. "You've said that too many times to count."

"That's because it's true." His hands drifted to cup your ass, squeezing lightly.

"We're supposed to be making cookies. We're going to Jumin's tonight, remember?"

"We still have plenty of time. We already have enough cookies."

"Tempting, but I have a batch in the oven."

Jihyun didn't answer, he just kissed you. Softly, passionately, humming in contentment. You kiss back because who were you to say no to him? He deepened the kiss, hoping to continue to distract you, it worked. He picked you up and set you on the counter next to the stove.

"Jihyun." You chuckled in-between kisses. "You're trying to distract me."

"Why would I do that?" He answers, kissing along your jaw.

The oven beeped, signaling the batch in the oven were done. Jihyun turned the oven off and opened it to let it cool, still caging you in on the counter.

Is stripping in front of people you aren't close to common among japanese people? "Uwa.." he mumbles out. Might sound funny, but that was sort of the 'wow' of Korean people. His eyes lay at her chest, and he immediately punches himself in his mind, quickly turning his head around. What the fuck are you doing? This is highly improfessional and disrespectful. He was never the type to gawk at woman's bodies. But when it's presented to him so clearly, he supposed he caught himself off guard.

"..sorry about that." Why is he sorry? She should be sorry, for stripping in front of him! How indecent. But he felt guilty for staring. Even if it lasted a few seconds before he quickly turned his head around, he still saw a lot more than he expected to see. "I'll... I'll get your other suits as well. You can wear your regular clothes in the meantime. It should be ready by tomorrow." Leaning forward, he took the clothes off of her hand, looking at the ground. He had women fawn over him before. Throw themselves at him. Flirt with him endlessly. For his money, mainly. He hated that. But to see someone do something like this so nonchalantly? Huh.

definitely the type to have the "99+" icon on his messaging apps, simply because 1) he doesn't answer his messages quickly, and 2) many people are trying to get in touch with him

only ever abbreviates "you" with "U" and "are" with "R" (he uses uppercase for the singular lexicons), and shortening terms like "first" to "1st". he would definitely text something like "I am eating lunch 2" 😭

he rarely has anyone texting him

however when someone does actually text him, he is terrible at replying quickly

he texts like a no-nonsense, business-only boss (i would say his texting style is similar to mystic messenger's jumin and tears of themis' artem wing (main story only)). formal capitalisation and all, too.

he doesn't use autocorrect at all. he feels weirdly proud of his typing skills.

he definitely had the whole "how to type" module in high school. you know, the class that taught the kids born in the early 2000s how to type (thumbs on the space key and all...).

there's no way they changed any of the translations right? i specifically remember a very iconic jumin phone call where he says "you can ask for much more"

They might have! I've seen some speculation that some things were changed around when Cheritz did the big interface update a few years back because apparently quite a few people remember the same details differently to how they currently happen. It is just speculation though, as far as I'm aware.

To elaborate on my tags from earlier, I was specifically talking about this part of the "Are you playing with me?" call on day 8.

Disclaimer I am by no means fluent in Korean, but I'd say my basic reading comprehension is decent. Sooo if I were to translate this I'd probably do it like this

You can be a little more greedy. No, far more greedy.

You can ask me for so much more. I'm prepared to do anything.

Though I do like the translation "I'm ready to do whatever it takes to satisfy you." That's a good line 👀

It is definitely possible that he says something very similar to "you can ask for much more" elsewhere in the translation (it's on brand for him to repeat that idea after all), but I'm not 100% sure! Super random line for them to change if they did change it.
