I find myself dozing off on an August afternoon and somehow my memories of the distant past synchronize with the present as the rain and wind blows through the box fan of the window waking me up from the light sleep; I look out the window and see the thunderhead outside peering back at me through the same glass pane and those memories are bouncing back and forth between the past and present and there’s similarities to the two different time periods.
