⁺ This man is just the sweetest man ever.

⁺ Fight me, but I absolutely adore this man and see him as a sweet man.

⁺ He's so willing to help you out, whether it's with simple tasks or difficult, he has the strongest feeling to aid you.

⁺ Tybalt very often carries heavy items for you, which often varies from; books, baskets of food, boxes, and much more.

⁺ Oddly enough, he's dazed when he thinks of you. Like, he's just in another universe just imagining being with you

⁺ It scares everyone a bit to see the Tybalt completely dazed. (Prince blesses whatever/whoever shut Tybalt up and kept peace on the streets of Verona.)

⁺ He gets the urge to just pick you up like a princess, of course not in public for both of yours sake...

⁺ If you're related/close to the Prince, he often walks away to be with you and excuses it as being a "guard".

⁺ Which does work efficiently. No one dares to come near and bother you.

⁺ Actually, somewhat good a cooking... of course, he won't be cooking due to the era- but, a friendly reminder that you can trust him to cook for you.

⁺ If you have siblings, he teaches them how to use swords and how to fight... to a minimum, he doesn't want to get them hurt.

⁺ 100% an acts and service love language guy. He just has this deep feeling in his heart where he just needs to assist you.

⁺ He wants to help a majority of the time because he sees you as a little deer. Tybalt would be too ashamed to admit, but you're really just sweet to him.

⁺ Nurse actually somewhat knows quite alot about you... Tybalt doesn't necessarily shut up...

⁺ On with the topic of Tybalts' lack of ability to keep quiet, he rambles constantly. And I mean he loves to ramble about you, specifically.

⁺ He enjoys a lot of features about you, personality-wise or physically. He admires you a lot, considering you're a lot softer than he is.

⁺ Actually.. more about Tybalt's rough self, he has rough skin along with scars and very often enjoys you brushing over him with your much softer hands, even if your hands are also rough.

⁺ He's a sore loser for you. Absolute devotion to you.

⁺ This man is 100% your guard dog.

⁺ He's a much more aggressive man, so in comparison to when you resolved a problem pretty easily and... with less blood shed, he's kinda dumbfounded..?

⁺ Appreciates that you make things less difficult for Prince

⁺ He listens to you a bit more when it comes to behavior. Of course, he's 100% in denial, but he understands that some things just shouldn't go the way he makes them..

⁺ Random, but he enjoys randomly like rubbing his scent on you? Like he gets extremely close, and you start smelling like him (in which he stinks severely, so you'll need to shower as soon as you could in this era...)

⁺ Also, duels so much it gives you a heartattack everyday..

⁺ Sometimes, he just fights to be bandaged up for whatever reason.. (cough, cough, your touch cough, cough.)

⁺ Also, he's the type of guy to fight people to assert dominance.. and his love for you. He obviously won't confess.

⁺ Off topic, but he is 100% running off away with you when he sees a Montague... specifically, Benvolio.

⁺ He just despises Benvolio (peace his ass) and doesn't want a Montague near you.

⁺ He's a sweet guy as well, always looking out for your well being.

⁺ Honestly, he constantly checks up on you and makes sure you took care of yourself.

⁺ Helps you carry things, though it's with far more difficult stuff- like extremely heavy boxes and such. But, he of course doesn't mind if you give him a basket of food or books to carry.

⁺ He's 100% your reading partner.

⁺ Benvolio enjoys sweeping you away and guiding you to a sweet and quiet reading spot he recently found.

⁺ He's your #1 supplier on new books to read... regardless if you already have a library full.

⁺ He's not entirely a fan of Tybalt... so he distracts you and walks away before Tybalt notices and makes a fuss about it...

⁺ Benvolio is the type to randomly pick up flowers and gift it to you. (Sometimes sticks)

⁺ Enjoys reading with you, and very often reads out loud to you.

⁺ If you have siblings, he very often watches after them for you.

⁺ He's been caught a few times by Tybalt, and the amount of teasing from Tybalt was just awful. Poor man hadn't stepped outside for the rest of the day for all that.

⁺ He picked up on writing little poems for you/relating to you. Sometimes, he forgets about those poems and leaves them laying around.

⁺ Kinda enjoys taking you out for picnics Little picnics for reading and eating little snacks... and maybe cuddling? (If the coast is clear and you're both comfortable enough.)

⁺ I feel like his love language is quality time. He just really enjoys basking in your presence.

⁺ Also, he really likes giving gifts rather than receiving gifts. But if you gift him anything, he's absolutely preserving it.

⁺ Honestly... he enjoys a bit of drama time to time- of course not getting involved but he enjoys to listen to it. He will absolutely report back to you.

⁺ Benvolio absolutely has inside jokes with you... that no one gets except for you and maybe Mercutio since Mercutio is extremely close.

⁺ On with friends, he only admits his relationship with you to Mercutio. Of course, he's going to need to ask Lord Montague to marry you one day but... just for now, he's going to bask in the thrill of a secret relationship.

⁺ He very vaguely defends you, like he'll talk wonderfully of you if he hears something bad of you.

⁺ That kind of "drama" is something he won't bother to listen to because he knows they're always wrong.

⁺ Despite being one for peace... he sometimes enjoys breaking rules. So, don't be surprised if he shows up at your house at like... 2 in the morning...

⁺ If you're very close with the rest of the Montagues (but not being family), he's extremely fond of you and takes in the job of protecting you.

⁺ He was definitely not one for love in the very beginning.

⁺ As in, he often teased others for falling in love. (Cut to Romeo...)

⁺ But, he honestly loves you. And leaving some little daisies for you is one of the ways he shows his love.

⁺ Since he knows the Prince extremely well, he could practically sneak out very often and take you away on little adventures.

⁺ The Prince is very fond of you and... well, like Nurse with Tybalt, knows a lot about you.

⁺ He's probably they type to pick up random things from the street stores and gift them to you.

⁺ Very, very often takes you out. (Ask the Prince to at least somewhat hold him back if you get tired.)

⁺ If you have siblings, he's teaching them to climb trees, how to do little things he picked up on.

⁺ Probably causes you a little heart attack when you see your 8 year old sibling on the highest branch.

⁺ Of course, he doesn't let them get hurt and watches them closely.

⁺ Would help you out with the siblings if you need help.

⁺ He enjoys music. He's the type to play extremely random string instruments.

⁺ So, if you play any instruments, he asks you to play random notes or music sheets he picked up.

⁺ Very silly guy, so he's constantly joking around with you.

⁺ But, he will take threats/jokes about you pretty seriously.

⁺ He's the type of guy to bring out sweet, wise little sayings for you, majority of the time its bs. But compliments you often.

⁺ Mercutio seems like the type to randomly take one of the Princes horses (some old one that Prince wouldn't mind being taken out- of course.) And go on small trails he found with you.

⁺ Honestly, he first met you from Benvolio, who spoke highly of you.

⁺ Mercutio was so confident he'd be able to tease you about love or something... he fails. Pretty badly too.

⁺ He doesn't seem like the type to believe in love at first sight though, so it might take a few tries before he really, really realizes.

⁺ Benvolio and Romeo know so much about you... to the point where THEY'RE SCARED... (they're just mortified by the amount of info that Mercutio somehow got from you???)

⁺ Mercutio is someone you can completely trust- he will never tell anyone anything you say, even if he was threatened. Anything between just of two of you, he will lock and seal his lips.

⁺ He definitely seems like the type to just ramble on about random things, and actually really appreciates when you argue back with him or even agree!

ㄨ Romeo

⁺ Although extremely stupid- as exhibited from his irrational behavior, I believe he actually learns quite quickly.

⁺ When he was dancing at the Capulet part (1968 film), he learned quickly how to dance, although a bit poorly.

⁺ Anyways, he'd be the type to mess up a bit, glance over to someone else doing the same thing and then copy off from them.

⁺ He has probably tripped once or twice and always snaps his head back to blame someone for tripping to avoid shame. (Tybalt has been there once or twice...)

⁺ Has secret handshakes with Mercutio and Benvolio. Sometimes, making one that requires all three present at once.

⁺ Every time he's scolded his brain just. Flatlines. He literally doesn't take anything in. (Although a lesson not to do whatever got him in trouble in the first place.)

⁺ Plucks flowers from gardens to gift to Mercutio/Benvolio as a joke. More seriously to Juliet (..or yourself, if you'd like).

⁺ CONSTANTLY gets in trouble for plucking the flowers. Because he keeps robbing the Capulets of their precious flowers. Doesn't even bother to clean up after himself..

⁺ Every time he writes letters to specifically his friends, he adds a small " ! " to his signature.

⁺ He has so many inside jokes w Mercutio & Benvolio. Will accidentally use them and get in trouble for it.

⁺ Jokes would include making fun of Lord Capulet / Tybalt..

⁺ If he were to fall/trip, he'd fall right on his face. I don't make the rules. (I do)

⁺ When Romeo is happy, he always has a little pep in his step. Like he's all giddy and happy. Though, he's like 99% more prone to tripping. Which ruins his mood.

⁺ Scratches his head when he's confused.

⁺ He seems like the type to be writing something and then accidentally misspell the easiest word ever. And not even realize it...

⁺ Benvolio: "Romeo, what is 'jeilt'"

⁺ Romeo: "What?" *Glancing at said word,*

⁺ Romeo: "Uh Juliet."

⁺ He has a habit of getting really stupid and random ideas at weird moments. He's probably run away from his mother and father to his friends with ideas more times than can be counted.

⁺ Sneaks out a bit, not a lot like Mercutio may but a reasonable amount to either meet up with friends or just for himself.

⁺ But SUCKS at lying... he's been caught so many times and just goes, "uhm... there was a bird outside."

⁺ Writes horrible poetry that Benvolio and Mercutio support. They end up all snickering about it later on and joke about it.

⁺ Definitely is the type to have a bedtime and tell his friends, "I can not come, as the moon rests high in the sky and beckons for me to sleep!"

⁺ Sneezes like a little girl. And gets made fun of it for it.

⁺ Tybalt heard it ONCE. ONE sneeze from Romeo and has made it his mission to mock him. Romeo cannot outrun the 'choo!' Whenever Tybalt spots him.

⁺ He definitely has a wonky smile. Like he's so nervous and awkward with smiling he looks silly. Lady Montague is a little ashamed since she's got a pretty smile... and her son... just didn't inherit it.

⁺ He did inherit his father's smile though... which scares a lot of people.

ㄨ Juliet

⁺ I just know she smells like flowers every day - how she does it? Remains a mystery.. (she rolls in a flower field)

⁺ Has so many little jokes with Nurse that no one else would know about. Occasionally would share a joke with Tybalt to make him feel let in.

Doesn't openly call Nurse "mom" but she enjoys to refer to Nurse as she would a mother rather than her biological mother.

Also kind of clumsy, she couldn't carry a bucket full of only water to save her.. (💔)

Actually, sometimes indulges in reading poems from time to time. Though, she'd ask Tybalt to read it for her.

Very, very much the type to pick a flower and smell it.

Loves to pick up flowers, pedals, feathers, etc.

Probably has a collection of dried up flowers gifted to her over time.

Juliet really enjoys incorporating little cute things in her outfits!

Views Tybalt as an older brother rather than her father's cousin.

Makes references to things only Nurse knows so it leaves everyone else much confused- and on rare occasions Tybalt might get it, too.

Picks up her dress when she runs, like a princess.

Definitely the type to be like, "Excuse me. Mind your manners..." whenever she hears someone curse.

Whenever she sees Romeo, she faces fully towards him and holds her hands out - and he comes to pick her up and spin her like a little ballerina !!

Has attempted to draw/paint multiple times before, and whenever done- Lord Capulet always hangs it up with much pride no matter if it looks "funky."

Tybalt

Definitely the type to take great pride in his swords

Actually, seems like the type to keep a GIANT sword collection.

He's definitely the type to overhear conversions in secret but then give the fattest side eyes/disgusting glares.

Tybalt 100% has his lips sealed with any secret. Never could get anything out of him.

Juliet actually hides behind Tybalt quite often (not usually physically), and Tybalt isn't afraid to defend his younger sister.

Also, 100% defends Nurse, or rather any woman in his life. He's most definitely a woman's boy.

Has the most sly grin you'll ever see in your life.

His deep voice actually very often scares people, so depending on who he's talking to; he'll either lower his volume and attempt to speak softer or keep speaking in much confidence.

He'll soften his voice for the nicer, quieter folk and speak loudly for the annoying and cocky guys.

Little bitty scars all over him from him attempting to perfect his sword fighting skills.

Very often flaunts off and attempts to look flashy and show-offish.

Even though he's old enough and pretty mature, he'll never ever consider drinking or smoking. He believes it's far too disgusting for himself.

Although Nurse isn't Tybalts true mother- Tybalt will have moments where "momma Nurse" slip out.

Actually kinda enjoys keeping things neat in order - in his room at least, outside, he doesn't mind getting a little messy.

On that topic... Tybalt very often helps out Nurse with chores and such, but no one really notices because he doesn't want to be seen like that (question mark)

Other than that- he just is overall very sweet and polite.

Benvolio

Definitely the type to write little poems or works of literature but always puts it to the side to "continue later"-

He never finishes them and usually Romeo would come by and read those works out to Benvolio as a way to just tease.

Has very, very specific humor- he only really laughs at inside jokes.

Of course, he'll have a nice laugh at a funny joke but, inside jokes are what really get him.

The type to accidentally snicker at the wrong moment and have to excuse himself. (😭)

Though this would only be around friends, he most definitely can control himself from laughing around Lord Montague and such.

Very polite fellow

Seems like the type to like cross his hands when sitting down and he sits down very politely and tightly-

He doesn't want to take up much space on benches anyways.

If he was a cat, he'd be that one cat with an apple that just sits there all polite getting pet by a giant wooden spoon.

Very gentle with everything and everyone. Either physically, emotionally, or verbally-

Despite being extremely polite, he is the one that has the best insults ("thee mother looks like a yellow belly, tavern hopping maniac, it's no surprise thou looks alike!", also said in the most polite way possible)

Has a nice, gentle voice. Slightly accented, though, unlike many.

The hat he usually wears - the one seen in act 1 (1968 film) - is one from long ago.

It was gifted to him, and he constantly wore it when he was a teen-ish, but it was a bit too big, so it'd cover quite a bit of his face.

Somehow, has extremely beautiful, long lashes.

He strangely enough seems like the one to get hurt least often, but when he does, it's like the worst thing to ever happen. (Que Benvolio accidentally falling out a window)

Picks up little branches and sticks to collect randomly ?? He doesn't really do anything with them. The sticks either end up getting thrown out or forgotten about.

The type to be writing something and then accidentally slip up and create a massive mark in the middle of the paper without a way to hide it.

Has maybe fallen out a window before ?

Benvolio has so many unnecessary items laying around in his home

He has a collection of beads/rocks of sorts- all very polished and shiny.

okay. so. been thinking about the jumayocois gang and their first stuffed animals.

juliet’s was this bird from her bed (which i THINK is a flamingo) and her parents tried to teach her the italian word for flamingo as a really young kid (which is fenicottero) but she couldn’t pronounce it so she named it feni.

mays was this bunny they named iris (after the flower). she was a gift from prince escalus as a baby and they named her once they started learning to talk. she was mays favorite thing as a little kid and they brought her everywhere. also they drew her a lot when they were learning to draw!

romeos was this lizard he named spots, after (you guessed it, the spots all over him). his parents gave him to him and he would show him off to anyone who would listen. especially mercutio and benvolio

frankies was this elephant that he named bleu. he learned how to talk very early, but he didn’t like talking. however, he would talk just make sure no one got bleu’s name wrong and correct them if they said something else.

The Phantom Troupe auditioning for Romeo and Juliet (chaotic headcanons)

Letting these rascals live up to their theater kids fantasies… how bad can it get? 💀

Chrollo: He wants to be Juliet AND Romeo because he believes he’s got a deep understanding of both characters on a level no one else does, and he gets cast as neither. He ends up getting Prince Escalus’ role as the director thought Chrollo had the regal and commanding look for that.

Machi: She doesn’t bother auditioning—clearly not a big fan of the play. But the casting director is very adamant about her being the perfect Tybalt.

Pakunoda: Gets cast as Lady Capulet, Juliet’s mom, after so many people insisted she was so ‘mother’. Casting director said bring me the mother in question!!!!

Feitan: He wanted Tybalt’s role so badly but got everyone thinking ‘Damn, even Tybalt isn’t that much of a demon.’ No. Surprisingly nailed the Nurse’s role??? And no one in the Troupe is letting him live that one down.

Shalnark: Everyone thought his boyish and mediator (lmao) vibes were 100% Benvolio. Surprisingly he did very well, but kept cracking up every now and then during rehearsals—to the point Machi almost stabbed him fr during the early Benvolio vs Tybalt show off. No one knows how she snuck that sword on stage. Props staff had to make sure the rest of the weapons were fake.

Phinks: Was in competition with Feitan over Tybalt’s role even though he secretly wanted to be Romeo. Almost became Tybalt if not for Machi. He gets to play Count Paris ultimately. Hated the role but eh.

Nobunaga: Lord Capulet your honor, and Shalnark couldn’t resist making comments about him looking like the perfect ‘distinguished-but-not-so-much middle aged man’ for that role. But he was one of the most convincing on stage!

Kortopi: Wanted no part in it. Absolutely none. Got eventually cast as Peter and even that was too much for him.

Shizuku: Casting director wanted her to be Juliet but she couldn’t remember any line for crying out loud. She let out a very rare laugh over reading R&J’s first ever flirting sene. Also deadpans ‘Why must I say Romeo so many times in one sentence? Was Juliet summoning a demon?’ ‘This sounds so bad. They’ve known each other for 2 hours, why is she asking him to get disowned?’ She ended up walking out of the play, and bringing confettis with her to cheer on the others during rehearsals. The Critic no one asked for (Kept pointing out their mistakes all thorough and shouting/whispering every characters’ respective lines to fumbling actors. So much for not being able to remember her parts—)

Uvogin: Got Mercutio’s role a bit too easily. Was proud of himself until he got absolutely livid after finding out he’s gotta die in the play, by Machi’s hands no less! Each time he took a bit too long to give it up, drew out his last lines in the most dramatic ways possible. But audience loved it.

Franklin: Friar Laurence excellence. Pretty much the only person besides Pakunoda who didn’t make much fuss, although him having to stick around as Romeo and Juliet turned to sleeping beauties had him stand like 🧍‍♂️ ‘I thought that was supposed to be the greatest love story of all times?’

Bonolenov: Acted unbothered but begged the director to let him be one of the musicians during the ballroom scene instead. He got in a few nights just fine before some fussing spectators and sponsors inquired about why a mummy was on stage during R&J’s most iconic scenes, and if that was supposed to be a Halloween rendition or something.

Hisoka: You can bet he acted his arse out thinking he could bring a brand new flavor to Romeo. He’d have LOVED having to act it out with Chrollo as Juliet lmao, especially if the decors and stage burned down as the two ended up more busy aiming props and unlucky spectators at each other than acting.

All in all, the ones who got no roles: Shizuku (hates her character and can’t remember her lines), Hisoka (self-explanatory).

Members who got kicked out after a few performances: Bonolenov (stood out too much), Phinks (got out of character by bickering way too often with Feitan, made people think Count Paris was into the Nurse), Machi (she took her Tybalt era a bit too seriously), Chrollo (he kept trying to steal the spotlight like sir YOU’RE A SECOND ROLE SIT DOWN).

evthys only started going by "ee-va" because of the supposed difficulty of her actual name. didn't take her long to stop caring though —— "you're in law school and can't pronounce my goddamn name?? maybe if you learnt how to read instead of doing coke in the back of the cla——"

HOWEVER, (eh-vah) and (ehv) are good. just pronounce her name right and she won't chew your head off. she once went on a date with a guy who told her "if you don't like eva, and merenset is too hard, can i call you mary instead?" — she walked out on him and keyed his car.

ramesses doesn't have this problem too often, however he does say that his name is "romeo" whenever he orders his coffee. he's not ashamed of his name, but he really just cannot be bothered spending the extra 20 seconds trying to spell it out for the cashier (only for them to get it wrong on anyway).

much to his dismay, his greatest opp academic rival eva happens to be standing behind him in line one day. he doesn't realise, and she doesn't like him enough to say hello. she is nosey enough to listen to his order though. one large iced long black with an extra shot for... a "romeo" ??

she almost skips over to him, smiling at him a little too sweetly. "girl, who the FUCK is romeo??"

he rolls his eyes. "if you wanted to be my juliet sooo badly, you could've just asked." before he leaves, he walks past eva and laughs. "see you in class, dear capulet."

she sticks her tongue out at him and waves him off.

rame and ev never spoke much during law school. a mutual understanding to stay out of each other's way, constantly fighting each other for the highest grades. (they graduated with evthys as valedictorian, and rame as salutatorian.)

the first time eva sees rame after law school is in the lobby at a prestigious law firm. by the luck of the gods, or course he'd be here too.
