hot take gang. out of everyone, Romeo is most likely to be the voice of reason in the friend group.

Juliet is a rebel and loves adventuring and doing insane shit, she would probably suggest the dumb stuff to do because 'it's so fun!'. May is very dramatic and would always encourage her and go along with everything with a smile. Francois has been shown to be, while scared, very fucking dumb and also he easily does do things, and hes trying to be more confident so he would just join in.

Romeo is shown to have a lot of heart. he would want to keep everyone safe, and out of the four of them hes more likely to be the one saying 'hey guys, this seems dangerous, maybe we shouldn't do it', or at least be the one to stick to it (Frankie's mind could easily be changed as shown when he got on the table in Confident)

all these characters are so much more than just one thing and yes, Romeo did join in with De Boi Band, but that was because he wanted to be with Juliet and this would be because he wants to keep everyone safe! not to mention, he's died before and he thought Juliet had died too and that would probably fuck him up

basically. Romeo is so much more than a silly idiot and he cares deeply about the people he loves

EDIT: my friend mentioned that Romeo is a very emotional person, so:

when Romeo gets super pissed at someone or super excited, Benvolio has to be the voice of reason. he also deserves to be in this group. like, if someone is being a bigot or something, or if there's dinosaurs or bugs, Benvolio has to be the voice of reason being like 'hey this guy is so fucking buff. do not fight him', and sometimes Frankie will actually be reasonable (or just straight up scared) and join Benvolio. but basically Romeo is the voice of reason until he has too many emotions

i just remembered that once i qrted a tweet that said “what’s the big 4” with a picture of juliet, frankie, may, and romeo together (imaniet, jordancois, maycob, and blomeo specifically) and i didn’t intend it to be about the actors but jesse dutlow replied to it with a video of someone getting slapped

francois learned it from his brothers, who taught him so they could communicate when he went nonverbal

romeo learned it by himself so he could communicate with his friends when he went nonverbal

may learned it so they could communicate with others when having difficulty hearing or experiencing voice dysphoria

juliet learned from may and romeo so she could communicate with them without using her voice when her parents were around

had to do the pacer test today in gym so i was thinking about the jumayocois gang taking it too.

like romeo would definitely be out first, and then the other three would stay in for a lot longer

may quits next mostly because they don’t feel like going all the way to the end (they can go pretty damn far, they just don’t feel like standing out a ton)

when they go to sit down though, romeos like “hey may do you think juliet or frankies gonna go farther” and may says juliet so romeos like “okay wanna bet”

(may says yes because romeo loses most of the bets he makes)

and whattaya know, frankie taps out right before juliet does and may wins the bet

since my gym teachers don’t know how to do anything except tell us to go outside, i’ve been imagining the jumayocois gang just chilling outside during gym too.

my middle school was surrounded by forest around the fields, and there were honeysuckle bushes too. they would all love eating honeysuckles and just chilling in the grass together.

god i love them.

frankie and may have a little treehouse that’s full of cats and parrots and frankie has a room with all his treasure bc he loves the archeology feature (he has lots of pottery shards and discs)

juliet built a cottage for herself and romeo was living in some little hole in a cave but then he moved into her basement

may built a huge garden with tons of flowers and custom trees with juliet. (and then frankie went and found them a sniffer so they could have the special flowers)

romeos constantly going out adventuring with frankie but romeo always dies in the stupidest ways possible

okay. so. been thinking about the jumayocois gang and their first stuffed animals.

juliet’s was this bird from her bed (which i THINK is a flamingo) and her parents tried to teach her the italian word for flamingo as a really young kid (which is fenicottero) but she couldn’t pronounce it so she named it feni.

mays was this bunny they named iris (after the flower). she was a gift from prince escalus as a baby and they named her once they started learning to talk. she was mays favorite thing as a little kid and they brought her everywhere. also they drew her a lot when they were learning to draw!

romeos was this lizard he named spots, after (you guessed it, the spots all over him). his parents gave him to him and he would show him off to anyone who would listen. especially mercutio and benvolio

frankies was this elephant that he named bleu. he learned how to talk very early, but he didn’t like talking. however, he would talk just make sure no one got bleu’s name wrong and correct them if they said something else.
